why are there so many nexomon im still practically at the beginning of the game and it's so overwhelming

#bwark #im trying to catch everything and level them up as i go and it's hard to keep track of who evolves and who doesn't #my favourite design so far (fanfrou) doesn't evolve and that was the biggest disappointment ive ever felt #also there's apparently a legendary that starts roaming as around as soon as you start the game and i encounted it right before getting to #the second town and it made me shitted myself. i caught it though #also i know as of the past since gen 6 pokemon has also been putting more and more options in the early areas but like #that's a mixture of old and new pokemon so it's not overwhelming #i feel like stuff in nexomon could've been spread out better. or at least cut out the filler mons because some of these designs feel #really underdeveloped and are not hitting #also im obsessed with how there's a mon named spink and another named sprunk. having them together is amusing me so much

I’ve caught Suicune (named Barkrealis) and Lugia (named Tranquility) but I’m about to give up on Raikou & Entei 😭

I deleted Mean Look from Haunter so I could trade him with my husband’s Gen 1 game and turns out there’s no way to relearn moves so that was very not smart !

I’ve accidentally encountered Raikou and Entei once each and they fled immediately.

When I started to purposefully hunt them, I have my under leveled Gengar out with hypnosis. It took a very long time to encounter anyone. I almost had Raikou but he broke out, woke up and fled. I quit the game and reloaded. Encountered him again. Almost had him, but repeat of last time. Thought, okay great. I can just keep reloading.

But nope. For some reason he is gone now. And I don’t know which direction they move or if I just need to start over. It really doesn’t seem worth it lol. I’m so disappointed. I’m not a 10 year old with nothing else to do, so I think I’m gonna have to call it quits on this for now, sadly. But it’s always gonna feel incomplete until I finish this 😔

Should title this post “30 year old plays Gen 2 for the first time” or something. I feel like such a newb

People who don't believe in Legendaries are confusing to me. Yes they almost never willingly show themselves to people, but if you have a thirst for adventure and the battling ability to follow their rumours and legends and explore their temples then you can meet them.

I've witnessed Celebi (from afar), seen Jirachi (it was sleeping at the bottom of a lake, I had diving gear, I totally didn't poke it...) Lugia as well (I think... It may have been some trainers Aerodactyl...) To be fair these were all at a distance and I sought them out, but people out there don't believe in Regigigas??? That one I've seen up close, when I fell into its palm (thank you for not crushing me.)

Maybe because my area of expertise is ecosystems I was able to get the attention of the literal actual WORLD CARVER more easily, but like... I don't get how you can deny these guys exist, when there's actual documented encounters throughout history...

whoever designed the fuckin sharran cloister encounter in act 3. where you have a million enemies (why is every fight in act 3 just so many enemies that they can't even fit on the initiative bar????? action economy in this game is so weirdly balanced and the AI takes so long to take its turn), can't fire ranged attacks over the clouds of darkness to enemies on the other side that aren't obscured, can't pick dying characters off of the floor even with the help action when they get bone chilled because apparently bg3 counts stabilisation as healing???? which I don't think is true in tabletop 5e...?
