(YES!! Here's one of Leo taking care of a hurt Corrin! U V U)

“You’re a fool. A naive, ignorant, irresponsible fool.”

Leo’s words were harsh, but they lacked the usual bite while he bandaged your wounds. It was just the two of you, sitting in your room while the young prince tended to the bloody mess that was your body.

“I know, I know.” You mumbled, leaning against his shoulder.

“What were you thinking? There are dozens of people, just like them simply waiting for an opportunity to attack you! Why would you just give them that chance? Are you stupid?”

“It’s because I was on patrol and didn’t realize I’d wandered too far out?” You replied tiredly, fingers gripping the sheets when he bound up a particularly sensitive cut.

“You could’ve died tonight. Does that not mean anything to you?” Leo said, his volume growing.

You shushed him quickly, pulling back from him to look at the man properly.

“It was dark, and I thought I was still with Jakob. I didn’t realize where I was, and-- watch it! ...I paid the price. That’s all there is to it.” You explained, the pain not easing your agitation levels.

Leo sighed heavily, finishing up another wound and moving to dress the incisions on your arm. He lifted it gingerly, careful not to upset the bleeding cuts any more than they already were.

“Still, you shouldn’t have been so reckless!” He scolded you sharply, cleaning the blood away. “I was worried sick about you. If I hadn’t shown up…”

“Don’t worry about that.” You mumble, pressing your face against his neck in a comforting manner. Leo fell silent, wrapping another cleaned injury. “You found me, and you’re taking care of me. That’s all that matters.”

“You could’ve bled out on the dirt and we would’ve been none the wiser. You can’t just play this off.”

“I’m not playing it off.” You protest softly, lifting your hand to stop his movements. The bandaging paused. “I’m grateful you saved me. I wouldn’t be here now if it weren’t for you.” You pressed a chaste kiss to his lips. “Thank you.”

When you pulled away, you caught sight of something you never thought you’d witness; a teardrop rolled down his cheek.

“Leo…”

“I was scared, damn you.” He grumbled, tugging you to his chest and wrapping his arms tight around your body. He held you close, burying his face in your hair. “Don’t thank me for saving your life. I thought I was going to lose you.”

Your hand came up to his head, stroking his hair gently. “I’m sorry for worrying you. I’ll try not to let it happen again. Even though we’re in the middle of war and the chances of me getting into danger are on the daily-”

“-Corrin.”

“Sorry. I’ll try not to let myself get stuck in that situation again.” You promised him, and he pulled away from you, trying to play off the tear stain on his cheek.

“Good. If you did I’d probably kill you off myself, anyway.” He grumbled, eyes softening. “Now give me your arm. I’m not done yet.”

“Hold on,” You stopped him, thumb rubbing his cheek and ridding him of the track left behind by the salty drop. “You had a little something on your face.”

“Tch, you’re so annoying.” He muttered, cheeks turning pink instantly.

You just smiled, resting on his shoulder once more while he dressed the rest of your wounds.

Also for Ryoma part I'm really sorry if I called it wrong but I have no idea what that thing on his head is if not a headpiece?

Leo

It was a faint moment but one that he would think back on constantly for many reasons. The closeness, her touch, her voice...

His typical... Problems with clothes embarrassing as they were found their way to his head.

It wasn't anything too noticable, he just got something small caught up in his hair, he had no clue about it.

That is until he felt Corrin's hand on his head "What are you doing?" He asked, masking his embarrassment by her gesture.

"There was a loose string in your hair" she showed him the evidence and he thanked her for her help.

"By the way, I had no idea your hair was so soft" she commented justifying why her hand lingered for a moment longer, but he couldn't think of a response in the moment.

Ryoma

He wanted to make sure Corrin feels welcome and comfortable in the new situation.

So, any way he could he tried to comply to her requests. Even if she wasn't asking for much he was happy to provide anything.

One time she asked him to take off his headpiece just because so far she had only seen him wearing it. The difference wasn't anyhow big but it satisfied her curiosity all the same.

Without even thinking about it, she ran her hand through his hair. It just seemed like the right thing to do at that moment.

Ryoma didn't comment on it, but Corrin said "You look quite different, but still handsome" her tone was polite, yet her words surprised him a little and he ended up thinking about it later.

"still" handsome? So normally she also considered him handsome? Was she really just being polite..? But he quickly recognized that he should perish the thought of going deeper into this...

Jakob

He had the busiest day possible. And he was quite the mess despite not trying to show it. But of course for his lady he acted like nothing was wrong in the slightest!

She however, noticed how the ribbon in his hair got loose. So she decided to fix it for him.

He was surprised when he suddenly felt her touching his hair. But before he got to ask, she explained everything to him "I fixed your ribbon" her smile was truly to die for...

"My deepest apologies for the trouble, my lady. Next time... Could I ask that you tell me about it instead? There is no need to trouble you with something so trivial..."

Later on he'd find himself thinking about it. Was it just him or did she actually keep her hand there for longer..?

Lacrymosa (Leo x F!Corrin)

Hello, everyone! I'm a new fire emblem blog that will write/post whenever inspiration strikes! Requests are open, so if you want to help me out with a good prompt, feel free to hit me up!

The writing will be continued underneath the cut.

“Hiyaaaahh!”

Leo watched carefully as Corrin and Takumi went back and forth on the training grounds. Takumi would release an arrow as Corrin would roll to the side. Then, Corrin would charge as Takumi would backpedal.

It was a dangerous dance, but necessary for the war the two were taking part in. The quickest way to improve one’s skills was sparring with the best, and who was better than a war-hardened prince of Hoshido or a princess kidnapped and trained specifically to kill?

Though Takumi was certainly living up to his title, Corrin had become far too compassionate to ever truly embody hers. Or so Leo thought. He didn’t doubt her abilities, of course, but trained killers never tended to be charismatic enough to gather an entire army under their name without being branded as cult leaders.

No, the silver haired princess that was swiftly landing and dodging blows was far better than that.

Every once in a while, one of them would make a comment. With Takumi, it tended to be a taunt. Corrin, however, often chose to compliment her opponent’s stance or a particularly good dodge. Occasionally, she would offer whatever advice she deemed helpful at the time.

Leo had to give her credit for helping her allies so adamantly. He was also impressed with how watchful her eyes were. She was picking up on subtle things that he would only have been able to notice if he were paying close attention.

Takumi didn’t seem to be the biggest fan of her methods, though.

“Stop telling me what to do! I’ll still beat you whether you try to help me or not!”

“But Takumi, that’s not what this is about! We’re both trying to get better. I’m not the only soldier you’ll find on the battlefield! There are other kinds of generals with different fighting styles that-”

“You don’t get to be better than me! You…you’re still the reason Mother died!”

Caught off guard at that remark, Leo snapped his head to the archer prince. That was highly uncalled for, and in the midst of a training session of all places…! He had half a mind to open Brynhildr and join Corrin, but he silently resigned himself to simply observing, albeit much more attentively.

His eyes turned to the princess, scanning over her face. Shock and hurt were clearly present in her eyes as she processed his comment.

After the split second it took for his eyes to look at her, they shifted to Takumi. There was a twinge of uncertainty in the archer’s expression, like he didn’t mean to say such a thing. Instead of apologizing, though, Leo watched the second prince of Hoshido’s resolve harden.

“Takumi, what-?”

“The Yato blade should have been mine! I was the chosen one!” At this, he fired off another shot, though Corrin’s dodge was sloppy this time. “Not you! You’re just a nobody! Honestly, now that Azura can guide us, we don’t even need you!” Another shot. Corrin didn’t look like she had the heart to charge at him, again. The only emotions left on her face were confusion and regret.

Leo clenched his teeth.

“You aren’t worthy, and I’ll prove it, myself!” the archer shouted. He shot again, and the second prince of Nohr’s eyes went wide when Corrin didn’t make it out of the way in time.

The arrow of light pierced through her right shoulder, and the dragon princess dropped her sacred weapon with a cry.

Leo turned his head from Corrin’s hunched form to her sparring partner. His eyes widened in shock when he saw Takumi preparing to fire another arrow.

Corrin began to panic, too. “Agh! I-i yield, Takumi. It’s-”

“Shut up! You are nothing!” he yelled.

Leo took out his tome and clutched it in one of his hands. “Takumi, stand down! She’s had enough!”

But it seemed Takumi had eyes only for Corrin as he pulled the string of his bow taut once more. Unwavering, he aimed at the princess.

“I could kill you, you know! I will! I’ll take that sword for myself and send you back to that wretched kingdom from whence you came!”

Leo sprinted to Corrin, shouting at Takumi to stop and silently praying for mercy from whatever gods would listen. He had Brynhildr open and morphed the magic of the tome into a shield wall just as Takumi released his arrow.

The magic he commanded to guard them both shattered as the arrow collided with Leo’s barrier. He had made it to Corrin just in time, but it looked like his magic couldn’t maintain itself in a shape it wasn’t meant for. Enraged, the blond fired a warning shot toward the long-haired prince.

“Enough!” Leo barked. “Are you deaf as you are mad? She yielded!”

“She needs to understand-”

“She’s your ally, for gods’ sakes! What you just did was entirely uncalled for, not to mention dishonorable.”

“Nngh-!”

The Nohrian prince turned his attention to the wounded princess upon hearing her struggle. Shooting another glare at Takumi, he knelt down and looked closer at Corrin’s shoulder. Though the light remnants from the arrow had vanished, blood was starting to pool over her pierced armor. Her torn sash was beginning to stain red.

Leo was shocked as Corrin tried to get up, regardless. She’d struggle a moment before hissing in pain and lying back down. Upon her second attempt, he firmly rested one arm on her upper back to support her.

She always was stubborn.

“Easy. Don’t try to get up or force yourself. I’ll help you get to Elise, and she’ll take care of you.”

“...okay.”

At her consent, Leo gathered her in his arms and stood. He was careful to keep his arm off her wound, but he knew he’d have to hurry to his younger sister if he didn’t want Corrin to bleed out.

Takumi looked upon them both, that twinge of uncertainty in his eyes, again. Leo could see his regret, but knew from experience that it would take a battered pride to ever get him to apologize. Really, if anyone understood, it would be Leo.

He never took an eye off Hoshido’s youngest prince. After that bold display, Leo held no trust for him. His first priority was to protect Corrin right now, and he'd be damned if he didn’t draw a line. As far as he saw it, if Takumi couldn’t get over whatever inferiority complex his childhood laid upon him, then he wasn’t fit to fight as Corrin’s ally. Much less to train with her, if such assault could ever be labeled as “training.”

The feeling of an arm wrapping around his neck prompted him to start toward the healer’s tent. Corrin was going to be okay. She was still conscious in his arms, and though that should be reason enough for him to start calming down, Leo’s heart began to beat at a faster pace for an entirely different reason.

Damn it all.

"How are you holding up? He really let his emotions go, didn't he?" Leo started.

Corrin gave a weak smile that morphed into a grimace, "Well, other than the fact that my whole arm feels like it's burn-ngh!"

He watched as Corrin's breathing grew shallow. Her eyes were closed tight and her jaw was clenched shut.

"Don't. This isn't a joke," Leo frowned. He ever so slightly tightened his grip on her, subconsciously pulling Corrin closer to his chest. "Just focus on staying awake right now. Let me handle the rest."

He felt her vibrate as she hummed in reply. Most of her silver hair rested in the space between his arm and her back. Even so, there were a few stray locks that had come to rest on her wounded shoulder. Leo's eyes found themselves stuck on the strands where silver blended into scarlet, dyed by her own blood.

He needed to pick up the pace.

Leo's strides lengthened, and he turned his head upwards to focus on where he was going. He didn't have a moment to waste, rushing along as the sight of the woman in his arms haunted him.

Finally, they had reached the healers' tent. All that was left was to get Corrin to Elise.

"Don't worry, we're here now. You're going to be fine," Leo let out a shaky breath as he pushed through the tent flap. He let his eyes trail back down to Corrin's, only to find them shut.

"Corrin?"

Nothing.

"Oh gods, Corrin! Please, open your eyes!"

She didn't so much as flinch.

"Elise! Elise!"

At the sound of her brother's shouts, the petite blond came stumbling through the curtains that surrounded one of the cots in the tent.

"What is it, big broth-"

"It's Corrin. She was struck by an arrow from the Fujin Yumi, and it pierced her shoulder. I don't...she's lost a lot of blood."

Elise gasped, rushing back to grab her stave as Leo set the ruby-eyed woman on a nearby cot.

He watched as she came back, walked up to Corrin, and held her stave over her right shoulder. It began to glow, and Leo could only watch and hold his breath that Corrin would somehow make it out of this mess.

Leo didn't know what the army would do without her. She was the reason everyone was united in the first place. If this was how it ended...

He banished the thought from his mind, but before long, he began to realize how much he needed her. Leo didn't even want to think about a life without Corrin. The way she smiled and laughed with Elise, or her focused expressions when she would take the time to study with him. Her drive and motivation whenever she would train with Xander or fight on the battlefield; Leo didn't want to lose any of it.

Maybe that's why he was so scared. Maybe that's why, with each passing second that Corrin didn't stir, Nohr's second prince came closer to letting his emotions go. She wasn't his sister anymore, but he could still feel something there that hadn't quite resolved itself.

"Elise..."

"I know," the princess started, "I-I'm trying."

Leo shifted his gaze onto his youngest sister. Her face was determined. Strong. But silent tears began to drip from her eyes.

It wasn't working.

"Damn it all!"

Leo strode to the flap of the storage area in the tent, shoving it aside and snatching a spare stave. He turned briskly, heading back to the cot.

Once he got there, he held it over Corrin's shoulder, placing it next to Elise's stave. It began to glow as he activated it, and Leo could feel the magic whirring like a pulse.

"Wake up. You can rest and let us mend your wound, but then you're going to wake up."

He put all of his will toward bringing her back. Leo didn't hold back with his stave. He couldn't afford to lose a single moment, what with her life on the line.

He felt the thrum of magic quicken as the glow began to brighten. Elise's stave glowed brighter in turn, and together, finally together, they were able to watch as Corrin's wound seemingly patched itself.

"Please, Corrin."

Where there once was a hole pierced through skin, there was now flesh. The siblings didn't dare stop, though. Elise was starting to grow a little pale, and Leo was certain he looked just as flushed. Pushing magic this hard would take its toll on anyone.

It will all be worth it, Leo thought, if I can just see her smile again.

There, as he was fighting off the dizziness that came with overuse, Leo thought back on his time with Corrin. Even after learning they weren't related, the princess continued to be just as loving with her Nohrian family. At first, he didn't understand it. He wanted to hate her for taking away the love his siblings might otherwise have given to him.

But the emotion never came, and his love for her still stood. Stupidly, even though she wasn't his sister anymore, he couldn't bring himself to feel any other way for her.

Ah, so that was it. That unresolved feeling.

He still loved her.

Maybe not as his sister, this time, but as something more.

And none of it was going to matter if they were too late. If Corrin never woke up, he would never get the chance to tell her how he felt.

He could really use some of Corrin's luck, right now.

"W-why isn't she up yet, big brother? She's all mended, so why isn't she waking up?"

Leo's breath grew shallow. There was something they forgot to do. It could also answer the question as to why her wound took such a long time to heal, even with magic.

"...Elise?"

She gave a small sniffle, "Y-yes, big brother?"

"Did you...check her heartbeat?"

He watched as Nohr's youngest princess grew tense. She took a shaky step forward. And another. Then another, reaching the spot at Corrin's side.

Her hand lightly reached for Corrin's wrist as Elise pressed two fingers along it to check for a pulse. After a moment without her announcing anything, Elise moved her fingers to find the pulse at Corrin's neck, instead.

"...Eli-"

Her twintails bounced as she shot up and turned to him.

"She has a pulse, so I'm sure she just needs more time. Right, big brother?"

Leo released a breath he didn't know he was holding, "Yeah. She'll be alright. We can wait for her to wake up together."

Elise headed back behind the tent flaps, again, "Okay!"

When she returned with two waters and offered one to Leo, he downed it faster than he thought he possibly could have. He was exceedingly tired, but he wasn't going to rest until Corrin opened her eyes and he could confirm she wasn't dying.

Fortunately, that didn't take as long as he thought it would.

When Corrin first began to stir, Elise had rushed to her side. Leo himself had opted to back up and leave her some breathing room, but he was still only a step away.

"...nngh...wh-what...?"

"Big Sis Corrin!"

"Easy, sister. She's likely to have heavy sleep inertia after that episode."

Corrin's eyes blinked once, then twice. Her eyes drifted from Elise, to Leo, and finally to the tent around her.

"Where am I...? How did I...get here?"

"You're here with us, in the medical tent! Leo brought you here after you got hurt."

The wounded princess's gaze drifted to the side, "...Takumi..."

"He'll be fine. You're the one that got injured, after all." Leo clenched his fists. "I have half a mind to drag him here myself and make him apologize, but I'm not stupid enough to bring him in while you're in this state."

After everything he said in the training grounds, Takumi would probably love seeing Corrin rendered to a cot by his own hand. Well, as long as Leo was here, he wouldn't let the archer within ten yards of the tent.

Elise left once more, returning with another water meant for Corrin.

"You should drink this! Slowly, please. We don't need you to be doing anything too taxing, just yet."

She took small sips of the water as Elise propped her up on some pillows she found around the tent.

"It was just an arrow in the shoulder, right?" Corrin pondered between sips. "But then why was I..."

Leo shook his head slightly, "No, Corrin. You can't compare that shot to just any arrow. That was a projectile of light from the Fujin Yumi; one of the sacred weapons, as you must be aware. I'm certain its abilities managed to negatively influence your healing process."

He had garnered both princesses' attention, at this.

"What do you mean?"

"Think about it. Elise here can confirm that it took us far longer than it should have to revive you. You were bleeding far too much for an arrow wound, though that might have been due to the light disappearing once you were hit. It pierced your shoulder, then left nothing to stifle the bleeding."

Elise nodded, seemingly agreeing with the conclusions at which Leo had arrived.

"You should be more careful, big sister! You were really hurt, and things might have gone even worse if there wasn't a healer like me already in this tent!"

Corrin smiled, reaching her hand out to the younger girl, "Thank you, Elise. I promise to be more mindful from now on." She turned her eyes to Leo, "And thank you, Leo. Both for intervening back there and for bringing me here."

He sighed, "Really though, you do need to be more careful. Your luck may run out one day."

Excusing himself before she could respond, he left Elise to take care of Corrin while he went to find her retainers. He needed to have a word with them on ensuring their liege's safety.

Maybe one day, he'd have a word with Corrin, too. About how he felt for her, and whether or not she garnered the same type of affection for him.

For now, though, the princess needed rest. He wasn't as unfeeling as to ask such a question while she was still recovering from a life-threatening event.

Perhaps he would have a word with Hoshido's youngest prince, too. A refresher on training etiquette might not be that far out of line.

Leo had a busy afternoon ahead of him.

This will be specifically for a Revelations Route, so if you wanna ship different combinations of characters in this AU, I won’t stop you.

I also won’t be getting into the Child Units (yet.) With all of that in mind, here’s the ASAU Pairings:

Corrin X Azura. I mean… it’s Corrin and Azura. How can I not? Especially since they’re not altered in this AU, but their kids are. Imagine big sibling Kana little brother Shigure dynamic.

Sakura X Hana. I’m as much of a sucker for Sakulise as the next FE14 fan, but honestly the bond these two have and have had for easily a decade at this point just overrides the softness of Adult Sakulise. Shiro is their son with Ryoma serving as a surrogate father.

Elise X Effie. Same as with Sakura and Hana, Elise and Effie’s bond in this universe (realm?) is just too strong for me not to pair them together. Siegbert is their son with Xander serving as a surrogate father.

Takumi X Oboro. This is a cute pairing, what can I say? Can you tell I’m a sucker for Liege X Lord pairings? Also, just imagine cute and sweet Kiragi making his mom’s Demon Face.

Leo X Niles. I don’t even know how to put my feelings on this pair into words, so I’ll just trust y’all to accept it. Forrest is their son with Beruka serving as a surrogate mother.

Hinoka X Hinata. This pairing is unique since it’s the only time I don’t ship a lord with their non swapped retainer (or another lord) but honestly I just like the himbo samurai/tomboy princess dynamic. Also protective older cousin Hisame is interesting.

Camilla X Beruka. Cute but strong Malig and her scary Assassin waifu? What’s not to love? Also Niles served as a surrogate father so they raise Nina together.

Ryoma X Xander. I decided to pair these two together since I figured I should do at least one pairing between a Hoshido and Nohrian royal. Since they couldn’t have kids with each other, they agreed to be surrogates so their oldest sisters could have kids, allowing Shiro and Siegbert to exist in this world.

Jakob X Charlotte. A very… very chaotic duo. This was simply a duo born from the fact that they were kinda just leftover after I paired off most of the other characters. Add super strength to Dwyer’s mountain of secret skills.

Silas X Felicia. One: they’re cute. Two: imagining Sophie inheriting Felicia’s clumsiness and ice magic is equally hilarious and terrifying.

Kaze X Orochi. Stoic ninja who struggles with feeling like he failed his liege due to something out of his control plus merry diviner who struggled with feeling like she failed her liege due to something out of her control equals both fun shenanigans and absolute angst. Also imagining Midori being able to somehow use a combination of Divining and her Medicine could make her a force of nature in her own way.

Saizo X Kagero. What can I say, I’m a sucker for this duo too. I’m sure they could be happy together once Saizo learns to stop having the personality of a cactus. Plus having two Ninja parents probably makes Asugi a super ninja.

Laslow X Selena X Odin. If I was gonna have Corrin get with Azura, an OT3 would be needed so all the kids would be capable of existing and I’m just a sucker for this trio. I’ll be using Henry!Laslow, Robin!Selena, and Lon’qu!Odin. Soleil inherits the Fell brand, Ophelia inherits the Exalts’s brand, and they get to be awesome redhead step sisters. Sorry to anyone who ships these two.

Azama X Subaki: …ok, look, so far I’ve done three wlw and only two mlm pairings. Two more guys were gonna have to get together. And after I saw these two, reread their supports, then read @unassumingvenusaur’s fanmade S Support for them, I wound up enjoying this pairing immensely. Also for the sake of not having to do anymore surrogates because this is getting complicated: Transmac Subaki (which I feel could not only make his backstory more interesting given the implications of how terrible his parents are) allowing for them to have a brown haired Caeldori and a red haired Mitama who are sisters.

Arthur X Setsuna. Apparently luck works like integers because when you combine an unlucky Fighter with an equally unlucky Archer, you get a doubly lucky Wyvern riding super hero. Also imagining dorks like Arthur and Setsuna together is just adorable tbh.

Kaden X Peri. When I don’t pair Peri (heh) with Laslow, I usually pair her with one of the furries so I can create an absolutely terrifying Kitsune/Wolfskin. In this case I decided that Peri would be Selkie’s mother and the rest of the army gets to suffer then consequences.

Hayato X Mozu. One: this is basically genderswapped Cyril/Lysithea and Donnel/Maribelle which already makes it a win. Two: Rhajat with Mozu’s hair and freckles is a hilariously adorable image.

Benny X Rinkah. Gentle giant meats muscular spitfire to create flaming good boy.

Keaton X Nyx. Yes, let’s pair the most mature woman in the army who considers herself a monster with one of the most immature guys in the army who can turn into a monster.

OK a little backstory.

Zero and Corrin were out and got attacked. Zero ended up getting hurt so they hurried back to the castle. After his injuries got checked out, Zero and Corrin have a chat. Corrin feels responsible but Zero assures him to not feel bad. It wasn't his fault. Leo and Takumi come into the room to see what happened. Leo being very close to Zero and having a "interesting past" with his retainer he gets upset at Corrin. Then blames him for getting Zero hurt. Takumi however is more in defense of Corrin and tells Leo to chill out.

Let's celebrate Leo with fluff prompt 13 and a female Corrin!

Aahhh!!! I'm so happy for you! Does this mean you've beaten all of the routes? Then I have to know which is your favorite!😳

There is a LOT to consider when picking a favorite route. Like: maps, characters, story- literally there is too much to think of! For example while I like the Conquest lore more- I'm more attached to Birthright characters (although I prefer Nohrian royals). At the same time while I didn't really use most of the map mechanics Relevation had a lot of unique ones! At the same time I really struggled while playing Conquest cuz it was just too hard for me to both play well and grind supports!

So my answer to my favorite route is: I don't have a favorite!

13: Flower symbolism with Leo and Corrin

Corrin here is female

Although Leo doesn't have too much problems expressing his love to Corrin, he figured that he will prepare small romantic surprise for her.

He started giving her flowers but it took her a moment to think that he picks specific flowers for a meaning.

It started with a regular red rose, although simple not only was it a symbol of love it also had the same shade as Corrin's eyes.

He wasn't afraid to admit to the fact that he used to be jealous of her- so as a reminder for the past he gave her marigolds.

Next day however he gave her dwarf sunflowers- known a symbol of adoration. It was how he truly felt about her underneath the jealousy.

He also had given her daisies, both for her innocence and his loyal love.

He had witnessed how inspiring she was, so it was only natural that among his gifts angelicas would be there too.

It was great seeing Corrin smile as she took a book and tried to find the meanings. She was at first surprised by the marigolds meaning, but she understood why he put them there.

So naturally, Corrin decided to do the same.

She also started with a red rose. Both for it's symbolism but also as a sign that now it was her turn.

A yellow jasmine was what she had given him next for his grace and elegance.

He had his pride and she thought that amaryllis was beautiful- just like him.

There was no mistaking how smart Leo was, he taught her a lot and he never stopped impressing her. And the symbol for that is an aster.

His justice might be different from her own- but in the end he always took her feelings into consideration. So for that she got him a black-eyed susan.

Leo wasn't sure if he was surprised or not by Corrin returning the gesture. But it did make him happy.

OOOOOOH BUDDY I JUST FINISHED BULLET POINTING THAT HOLD ON—

-spoilers below-

Ok so it’d basically follow the movie but the whole kicker is that In included Lita and Mira alongside Jr when he hops back in time!

So it’s not only Jr. Seeing his sensei/uncle getting trapped in that portal it’s also Lita and Mira watching their one hope win and die all the some. But I enough about them—

The family???

Story wise Donnie and Tio Casey are currently knocked out with Lou and O’Hara, Leo, April and Mikey are huddled together having to have listend to the whole transmission, and Mona and Raph have a busted communicator so they can only listen in but can’t reply.

The Mutanimal’s as well are grouped up and trying to figure out a new plan alongside Cass when the comm comes though from Cino.

To them all it’s very much a dire thing. Cino is usually one step ahead of his enemies; in a plan. He and Corrin both general have back up stuff at the ready if their first plan fails. But know??

He really does end up following in his Sensei’s foot steps. Leo ends up disassociating from the whole thing; from Aprils crying and Mikey’s panicked yelling.

That’s his little nephew. The kid who ran to him for extra snacks, to stay up late. Who came to him when he felt alone.

Mondo try’s to cut off the communicator in Slashes hand— trying to stop the reality around them.

Raph and Mona?

Earlier Mona got hit to her side so it’s Raph helping to carry her to safety when the communicator goes off. The sucking dread and the promise Raph made his sons make to come back safe.

Alive.

It’s a bad show reel. Especially for Mona; having had too many younger friends and family die in a war; but this isn’t. They know that but it doesn’t stop Mona’s struggle to get out of Raph’s hold and run towards the Krang ship in a desperate attempt to reach her son. She’s crying and that can’t be good for her heart rate and blood lose and shit, Raph’s crying to as he pulls he back into a hug as they both end up watching the portal shut with their son inside.

She’s screaming in his ear, fists beating against his shell and he locks her against his chest. His own sobs breaking through. They had both made a promise to keep their children safe, and now look at what they’d done.

They’d broke that simple promise in two.

I do Inga t think Mikey has a spiraling moment when he’s out panic yelling as the portal shuts, he has to be dragged back into hiding before he gets devoured by a Krang dog. April trying desperately through her own migraine inducing sobs that they need to stay safe; hidden.

And when Cino gets back???

All the kid wants to his dad hugs. Raph and his sons (when they’ve recovered) all stay close to him. Mona stays a bit longer in the med bay so the family is often found in her room snuggled together and watching a movie to blur out the nightmares that hide in the shadows.
