If people were more honest and straight forward about their intentions without the fear of judgement.. life would be so much easier. At least we will get a straight forward YES or NO answer. No one would get hurt even if the answer is "NO".

Because nothing hurts worse than not knowing the answer. This pain might last forever. It's called "REGRET".

Not being straight forward always leads to miscommunication and distance. Take it from me... This pain never ends. If you have something to say to someone... please be brave and do it now (And don't fucking use a third person.. say whatever it is and more importantly say it yourself.).

What one's capable of.

There are moments, flashes, where you get a glimpse of what you're capable of.

They happen when you less expect it. When you're walking towards college or your job, when you're alone in your house, when you're sorrounded by people that may be friends or not.

For less than a second, or for countless ages, you are able to see how much power you were gifted with. You see, that if you leave that habit, you will reach a goal. You see, that if you don't stop, you'll be on a place you always wanted to be. You see that, if you stop being prideful, and just do what it's needed, you will cross the limit. You see that, if you don't give up, every doubt, yours or someone else's will not matter.

See? You're the only one that's stoping you. Giving just a little to achieve the greatest is never enough. You have to be willing to leave some things behind, cause they're like a chain that ties you down to where you are, and if you wanna reach your dream and smile wide, with a fullfilled heart and a determinated mind, you gotta be willing.

You gotta be willing.

And then, it's just matter of effort and time.

You were gifted with power. Learn to use it, and use it well.

My 11-year-old couldn't decide what flavor of ramen to make, so I told her to flip a coin. Heads for spicy chicken, tails for beef.

Taking my advice, she flipped a penny, and when it landed on tails she said "Wait! Wait! I did it wrong!"

I told her that she did it right, because the real reason for flipping a coin isn't to let fate decide for you, but because when the coin is in the air, you will suddenly realize what you wanted in the first place.

I'm sure there's a life lesson there somewhere…

But honestly, I have never known her to pass up spicy chicken.

happy to announce that my latest bout of dreaming about tumblr induced in me the conviction that tumblr had just instituted a "pet" button that appeared below all pictures of an animal so that tumblr users could pet the animal. the most notable use of this was a post with a picture of a porcupine that had a thread of users below it saying 'ouch'
