Okay, so this is Tumblr...

Tumblr, hello!

I feel like the polite thing to do is introduce myself to you all!

My name is Ryan or "Dr. Mick" (he/him), and I host [Game] Sessions with a Therapist. Although I may not look like it (and I hear this all the time), I am a licensed couple & family therapist with a PhD in Human Development.

I stream over on Twitch where I play video games and use them to help illustrate mental health and psychological concepts shown within them. I do a lot of pausing, so be ready for that if you stop by, which I hope you do!

While I am a therapist, I am not YOUR therapist.

Any interactions with me or the information I provide do not constitute professional advice. While I’m more than happy to offer and discuss general mental health information, no one here is bound by or in possession of an official service agreement with me.

What do I plan to do with this blog?

A lot of what you will find here are mental health tidbits from my current or past playthroughs. We have a pretty big backlog of stuff for you all to enjoy! Occasional YouTube playthroughs may pop in here as well, but for the most part, it will be the little short tidbits. Maybe some nice little gifsets eventually 👀
