i find it incredibly funny how both Sonic CD & The Murder Of Sonic The Hedgehog, two very important games regarding Amy lore (CD birthed this girl into existence + the whole presmise is “rescue Amy and stop Eggman from taking over Little Planet b4 it’s too late”, and TMOSTH is centered around Amy’s birthday party on a bullet train(?)) coincidentally land on LGBTQ+ visibility/appreciation days.
Like yeah, TMOSTH was birthed a day before April Fools cuz it’s a game for that occasion, but March 31st is ALSO Trans Visibility Day! And Sonic CD was birthed on September 23, which is Celebrate Bisexuality Day.
But what does all of this mean exactly? Uhhhh idk just something fun i wanted to point out. Also, i can totally see Amy liking Sonic but also liking girls too. They’re both pretty so she doesn’t really mind 💕

You give off British vibes to me. Idk why but you just do.
(not an insult, I live in UK)
this statement hit me like a bus LMAO /lh /j
honestly tho I would love to know where this is coming from just cuz I always feel so violently midwestern (but maybe that’s just cuz I’m marrying a man from the south hehe)

a note on lgbtq+ labels
when i first realized i was queer i felt a copious need to find a label, or a micro label, or something that concretely said: this is me. and i guess i still do, in a way. but as time passed, it just sort of fell to the back of my mind. it wasn’t important anymore. and weirdly, that helped me figure out who i am a lot more than when i was scanning lgbt forums and shit, researching the most obscure micro labels i could find. and with each label i found, i felt myself trying to push myself into that box. i’ve tried out every label, every set of pronouns you can think of, but it never quite fit. and once i stopped caring, i had the space to finally just be me. and that was just so, freeing. i started hanging around other queer people, and maybe they knew exactly who they were, but they allowed me to just be me. it’s like i just slowly shifted out of the closet. there was no big coming out moment, just me being me.
and that feels so good.
maybe i still don’t know who i am. maybe this will all change, but for now, i’m content. i’m queer. i’m trans. i’m aroace, or at least somewhere on that spectrum. and i can just be el. yeah, maybe i haven’t fully figured out the pronouns thing, and maybe im still trying to accept myself being aromantic.
but that’s okay.
it’s okay to not know. i’m not sure if i ever will know. it’s okay that my gender identity is “eh.” because maybe one day ill know for sure, and maybe i wont. but i’m not trying to me anyone i’m not.
so i guess what i’m trying to say is it’s okay if you don’t know who you are. it’s okay if you’re searching for answers, but don’t try to fit a label just to know who you are. labels are weird and gender and sexuality are weird and fluid and if you want to try out a million different labels, great! but don’t ever feel like you have to, that you owe it to anyone or yourself. don’t ever feel like you have to fit a specific label or even any label at all. it’s okay to just be you.

Christians wanna be oppressed so badly that they'll lie about why ppl unfollow them.....
Tumblr media
Girl nobody is unfollowing you for being Christian, they're unfollowing you because you're constant comments about LGBT+ ppl and how you "disagree"with our basic human rights.
Tumblr media
An example

Why is it that whenever we bring up problems in the LGBTQ community, specifically problems about:
Racism
Transmisogyny
Lesbaphobia
Islamophobia
Antisemitism
Y'all immediately write it off as "petty infighting"? Y'all immediately bring up trans issues as a way to weaponize whenever we try and have these discussions. And I'm not talking about it now, I'm talking about how y'all have been doing it for YEARS even before the anti-trans laws in 2023. When are y'all gonna learn that multiple issues can exist at once? Or that different people face different problems and are going to speak on them.
I'm really tired of queer people more specifically white transmascs or white queers trying to silence everyone who speaks out on LGBTQ issues that aren't just homophobia or transphobia. At the end the day we are all queer people but guess what? At the end of the day I am a black person who can still be called the n word by a white queer. A lesbian can still be called the d slur by a non lesbian. A trans woman can still be labeled a predator or a "man" by other trans people. And same with antisemitism and Islamophobia.
If you want this community to grow and thrive listen to ALL of us when we speak out on our issues not just some.

Funny that homophobic people will act like they understand us better than we do when they can't even get the acronym right
The amount of fumbled "el-gee-tee-bee's" and "BLT...?" I've heard is a little funny. Like Bertha BLT means bacon lettuce tomato and I'm sure you wouldn't have such a problem with us if we were Veggie Tales (ft. bacon)

Im disappointed in the direction you are taking the John Wick fanbase on tumblr. You keep spamming about characters either being “queer” or “trans” and it’s giving us a bad look. The characters themselves are religious and this would be going against their beliefs. So stop this because this is not how the characters should become in the eyes of fans✝️✝️
