What’s your honest opinion on each gf?

brandy: idk enough about them, but I think the comments they made in the past are disgusting. Specifically, the lesbophobic tweet and the war tweet. I really don’t like that when people held them accountable for their comments they victimized themselves and accused people of being misogynists. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult for people to make a genuine apology and do better.

The fact that some people think that Mum is about how Sierra cutting Luke off from his mom is insane. Saigon is literally about a trip that Luke and Sierra took with their mom’s to Vietnam. Mum is very obviously about the fact that he moved half way around the world at 15. In interviews about the album he says that the pandemic was the longest time he had been in one place since he was 15. When you’re an adult you don’t talk to your parents all that often especially if they’re far away. The whole album has this theme that because he was so focused on music that he neglected other important aspects in his life. And how the music industry WILL take advantage of young people they think will make them money. Literally listen to Starting Line, Motion, Mum, Slip Away, Bloodline, and Comedown again. Bloodline literally ends with “If I knew form the start would I change a thing?” You’re going to sit there and tell me that, that’s about his relationship and not his career. Please for the love of god use some common sense.
