Awareness
It’s the details you pick up from your perception of the world. It’s your consciousness actively gathering and processing information from your environment. It’s how you experience life.
Self-Awareness
Self-awareness is a valuable skill that involves being mindful. It’s your ability to notice your feelings, your physical sensations, your reactions, your habits, your behaviors, including your personality, actions, values, beliefs, emotions, and thoughts.
Self-awareness is your ability to perceive and understand the things that make you who you are as an individual.
Essentially, it is a psychological state in which the self becomes the focus of attention. You are aware of all those different aspects of yourself as if you were another person observing you.
Another way to think of it is paying attention to your intuition, also known as your 6th sense or your gut feeling.
Self-awareness is one’s ability to not only be conscious and alert in an environment but also the ability to understand your purpose within it.

Try to distance yourself from these:
1. People who come to realise about your existence only when they need a favour/help from you.
2. People who forget about you after sucking out benefit from you.
3. People who are always reassuring everyone of their love and support.
4. People with intense ego issues.
5. People who can’t stand by your side in front of someone else.
6. People who always excuse themselves out at the hour of need.
7. People who simply can’t get the time to check upon you when you approach them.

The BIGGEST regret of my life
This is going to be one of my MOST important writing on
Medium. Here’s why:
They said wisdom only comes with age. Can’t be true anymore. If only I could rewind time, this is what I would say to my younger self:
Choose your friends wisely. Your circle is a direct representation of your future. Your friends directly influence every area of your life consciously and unconsciously as well.
Place yourself in the right environment. If you want to thrive and if you want to grow into the best version of your life. Look around you right now, is the environment making or breaking you?
If you’re still in your school or university realm, please join communication clubs such as Toastmasters or etc. I know there are tons of organizations out there with specialized niche but here’s what I am about to say:
“If you know how to present yourself through the way you speak, you are about to win BIG in life. Really big.”
Take care of yourself. Put yourself first. Look after your overall being. If you brush and polish yourself daily, trust me one day you’re going to be the brightest star in the sky. Invest in personal development from the very young.
“The greatest and safest investment in this entire Universe is always going to be you. Invest in yourself and you shall receive the highest return ever.”
If you can apply these 3 key wisdoms into your life trust me you are about to bypass or even reach to your destination within the shortest run.
Comment on what’s one advise you would give to your younger self?
Yours, Asrajjit Kaur

This, in a nutshell, is the paradox of being fully alive. To strive for relentless positivity is to aim for the dimensionality of a Hollywood movie or children’s book. So though suffering should never be anyone’s goal, each of us can strive for a rich life in which we not only seek the sunshine but fully experience the rain that inevitably falls as well.

Greetings and salutations! I had some thoughts/words of wisdom that I thought I’d share before hitting the hay tonight.
Have you ever had an interest in doing/learning something new, but were apprehensive about doing it because you looked at another person’s work and thought something along the lines of, “Wow, I can never [insert skill/hobby] like them.”? Well, you ain’t alone.
See, that sort of thinking is what stopped me from drawing for most of my life. I used to be really into sketching when I was a kid, but stopped because I genuinely thought I was terrible at drawing. Thusly, in order to tell stories without the need of visuals, I turned to writing. Though I can’t quite remember a lot from back then, I assume I wrote A LOT during those early years, considering my writing skills at my current age are what I’d consider to be my best skill when it comes to the creative arts.
Alongside this, I’d also consider myself to be pretty darn good at singing. This, much like writing, took years of practice and diligence. Going through years of choir rehearsal, along with one on one voice lessons really helped me improve my vocal technique and make me a better singer overall.
Point being, my being at the skill level that I’m currently at with both writing and singing took years of practice, and that’s okay! Skills like this don’t just happen overnight, and there are still things I’m learning and working to improve upon as I practice these passions of mine. This is a lesson I’m currently trying to teach myself with art, seeing as I only recently started actively drawing and ESPECIALLY getting used to doing digital art in the past few days.
So, if there’s some sort of hobby/skill/passion that you want to learn/pursue, don’t let self comparison or fear of failure hold you back. Nothing is perfect, especially when you first start out on something. Sometimes you’re gonna write/draw something and think to yourself, “Wow, this looks terrible”, and that’s okay. ‘Cuz with enough work, you’ll grow to think “Wow, this looks amazing!”. Who knows, you may even surprise yourself with how far you’ve come.

When you're young the life that lays before you has seemingly endless possibilities. You don't yet know what you'll do, who you'll be, where life will take you.

I don’t feel there’s any words left to speak, they’ve all been said. Perhaps not in the same voice, but the concept has already been explained. I feel I’ve seen all I’ve needed to see and felt all I’ve needed to feel. Maybe it’ll come back, I am still hopeful that it will.

I believe
When things don't go
Our way and
What's been good
Goes quickly bad
Pause, breathe
& Then think.
I believe that
Just as good times
Don't last
So will bad times
Too fade.
