2 am thoughts about roommates

#small dooble at 2 am :) #I think the they were roommates trope is great because living with someone beyond the sort of intimacy of sharing a space also comes with #compromises and accomodations for each other’s differences. small psychological changes such as internal clock and lighting and such #I’m glad I have roommates haha though it’s a bit lonely right now since one of them is doing summer research in Wisconsin #and the other is on vacation and went home for July 4th long weekend #a bit sad that I’m working over July 3 and 4 but I did plan it out that way for myself since there’s not anything else to do on those days #anyways I should go sleep

Half-a Joker

The Joker fell into acid, but that's not all that was in that container. It was all kinds of toxic waste combined, among them: ectoplasm. Of course, no one noticed until much later.

Jason hated the Joker, not just because he was his killer (which was clearly a very important factor) but also because something in his blood stirred every time he saw him. Even if it was unconsciously, Jason had made Crime Alley his Haunt, and every time he sensed the presence of the almost-ghost he hated it the most (even if it was unconsciously) and went into a frenzy of hatred.

The first time anyone suspected the Joker to be anything other than human was when they noticed his smile. His sharp teeth, along with his large, glowing eyes, flashing madness did not make him look human. The second time was during an attack: Nightwing shot him, but he "miraculously" survived.

The third time was much simpler: A boy with an ice crown on his head (the citizens of Gotham did not question, they had seen stranger things) chased the clown and asked him if he knew he was dead. The Joker laughed and answered sarcastically but the boy saw him in such a serious way that he ended up running away from the situation.

Danny couldn't believe there were two sick (and maybe crazy) halfas in Gotham. He wondered if it was a repeat of his history with Vlad or if the world was just making fun of him.

Mr M. was my favorite client. He grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, and he wanted to 'recreate' his memories of the 1950s and 60s in paintings.

Newborn calves can look terribly skinny. They fatten up quickly!

I almost blocked her because she was commenting helpful but realistic stuff on my mental health meltdown spiral posts but when I went to her profile to block her I saw she was cute and her blog was pretty aesthetic so I followed her back instead. This is probably a dumb idea but it came from a cullmination of tumblr ideas...

I love the running gag that people assume Damian is the youngest in the Super Sons series but I don't think enough people talk about the fact that people assume they're brothers.

So funny shower thought, fangs. Kryptonians are known for their fangs and it even makes Batman jealous. In my mind, Damian also has fangs like in the Battle of the Super Sons movie. Damian and Jon look very different, but once people see Damian has fangs like the rest of the Kent family, they start having doubts and just assume his appearance is because of recessive genes or something. I mean, why wouldn't they, what other family in Smallville has fangs? This kid seems to hang around the Kents often enough, he might just be their son, it's the same for that Kon kid, right?

I personally think this is funny. I can imagine the Kent boys just run with it, plan a field day bringing Damian along and go around town pretending Damian is their brother. Bruce catches wind of this and his frustration when he learns not only do Kryptonians have fangs, so do the al Ghuls.
