Layton Life Project Demo!

So, after I spent months combing through the absolutely tiny bit of gameplay I have (whilst getting distracted and working on future parts) I fiiinally decided to throw the demo out here for you to play!

For people who don’t know, I’ve been working on a tiny project that recreates the London Life minigame from Last Specter to something more... playable, lmao. It’s made pretty much entirely by me over the course of a year, and the demo is quite short, but it turns out making shit like this takes time, who knew? And the engine is wobbly anyway, so there may be a few fuckups but hey, part of the fun.

Nonetheless, I hope you check it out and see what I’ve been up to! Blah, blah, blah support is nice, feedback is lovely, you get the gist. It’s been a fun project for me!

I decided to play through my old London Life file after 9 years. I went to Gressenheller University as I thought it would be nice to interact with some of the characters. I talked with Lu and look at what he says here. He talks about how he hopes to be a perfect gentleman and to use his amazing gift of deductive reasoning to solve any potential mystery. He's basically now has fulfilled at least one half of his dream with now being Detective Luke.

I have played London Life on my copy of Last Specter and I spent a long time on it. The one thing that I wished that I could of experienced would be Clive's request as apparently you have to get him marshmallows for the slot machine gun for your decorating to meet a certain requirement.

Clive's favorite food being marshmallows is canon in my mind and I like to imagine a scenario where Luke just offers Clive marshmallows. Maybe Clive's whole plan of destroying London would have been avoided if he was just given marshmallows.
