i don’t want to teach you how i want to be loved. i want you to discover it. i want you to realize it. i don’t want to ask for it—or even worse, beg for it. i want you to generously offer it to me. i want it to come out naturally. sure, i love how whenever i tell something, you do it the next time or learn to compromise but i can’t go on like this forever. i can’t teach you how to handle me all the time. i can’t teach you how i want to be loved all my life.

Tips to help you describe love and attraction in your novel:

1. Show, don't tell: Instead of directly stating that a character is in love or attracted to another, demonstrate their emotions through their actions, thoughts, and interactions. Describe their reactions, gestures, and expressions to convey the depth of their feelings.

Example: "Her heart raced as he entered the room, a smile spreading across her face that she couldn't contain. In that moment, she knew she was helplessly in love.

2. Engage the senses: Use sensory details to immerse readers in the experience of love and attraction. Describe the sights, sounds, scents, tastes, and textures associated with the characters and their interactions to create a rich and immersive atmosphere.

She caught a whiff of his cologne, a mix of warmth and familiarity that sent a shiver down her spine. If you're an aspiring author working to get published, slaving away on a novel in progress with perfection as your goal... I would highly advise you, every once in a while... to write.

Not on your novel, not in your notes and concepts document, not on anything even remotely professional and not in a journal. Simply tell a story, stress free, with no expectations. Could be fanfiction from your favorite series, a random short story idea you had three months ago, or a writing prompt you found online. Allow yourself to have some fun again. Remind yourself why you love what you do. It will make you all the more determined and inspired to one day complete your ultimate work.

Fanfiction was how I originally fell in love with writing (that and my adventures in my paracosms). I started putting my story ideas on paper when I was eight. Four years ago I stopped writing fanfiction altogether, deeming it a waste of time when I could be putting my talents elsewhere. But a couple days ago I randomly decided to sit down with a computer and a few ideas, no outline or notes whatsoever, and just have a good time. Incredibly cleansing.

No it’s not fine. Your feelings, your pride, your confidence gets hurt and the worst thing is you keep coming back to that pain. Again and again.

It’s always there. In the back of your mind.

The crumbs of self-love are crushed into more pieces.

The love that you’ve been protecting, slowly growing, was again broken.

rejection is hard to bear, and recovery is slow too.

Hii, I have a question!

As some of you might know I'm a little bit obsessed with Conan and his music. And his songs also have good storylines you know. I also really love writing but I don't really have inspiration etc.

So I was thinking, what if I use the storylines of his songs as inspiration for some little stories? If I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna try to do that for all his songs.

Would some people maybe be interested to read it? Cause I maybe want to post it on wattpad or on tumblr (or both).

Just saying, I don't want to really steal his ideas for something serious, it's just for fun and I thought it might be nice to do that or at least try to :)

I won’t say “I love you” first. Never. I won’t allow myself to do that.

I said those words before, and I said them first.

I remember what joy I felt, slowly pronouncing those sweet words. The happy relief and excitement I experienced the moment the sound of my own voice hit my ears.

I was sincere. I was vulnerable.

However instant regret fell on me, when I realised that … they didn’t feel the same way as I did.

Not even close. Not even a little bit.

They said those words back to me as a social obligation. As if they sneezed and I said “bless you”, so they’d have to say thank you.

To be polite.

They didn’t hold the same value of those sacred words as I did.

Or unless they did, but those words from their lips weren’t meant for me.

The did love my love to them. They loved my “good morning” and “good night” texts that I sent every single day like I’d die if I didn’t send them. They loved how my face was lifting every time I saw them. They loved how I cared for them. Listened to them. Worried about them, so sometimes they’d play a victim just to get my attention and sympathy.

They loved how they made me feel. How my mood was dependent on their mood. How a simple act of affection from them would send me to the moon.

I got tired of that. I got tired of being stuck in this unfair transaction.

I deserve to be loved. Genuinely. Passionately. As if they can’t imagine their life without me.

Because I know that I can give the same.

Yes, I won’t say “I love you” first.

I will wait until the right person wins me over. I will wait until I am secure to say those words. Until I am sure that they deserve to be loved by me.

When the right person comes, I will finally say those words. And I promise will keep saying them as long as they say them to me. Forever.
