@lunchtimerushin said: AHHH OMG YOU HAVE SUCH A CUTE AND PRETTY HANDWRITING ;a; and what straight lines, it’s so beautiful cries <33
OH MY GOSH THANK YOU!! If I don’t have to write in a rush my handwriting actually looks decent! (Believe me, you don’t want to see the notes I take in classes.) It was a coincidence the lines ended up straight though, ahaha.

Red Blood Cell, Sighted! Chapter 1
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13022702/1/Red-Blood-Cell-Sighted
Guys...I don’t know how to say this, but I think I made a reverse harem fic for Cells at Work/Hataraku Saibou. Partially based off @lunchtimerushin‘s beautiful fanart and my need for more neutrophil content.
U-2001 is too old for this.
If anyone were to ask him how the whole thing started, he would merely shrug, knock back a drink of barley tea, and sigh. He's not an old neutrophil, but he sure likes to stay away from the immature adventures his close colleagues like to embark on. Days for him, other than the occasional bacterium or a virus, pass by slowly while time seems to meander without much reason for worry. One would think that 2001 would have gone mad, or at the very least, bored without the lack of any activity.
That was simply not the case.
Most of the time.
"2001," U-1146 greeted casually. Like most neutrophils, 1146 was dressed in the standard uniform of a white blood cell, but he was covered head to toe in cytosol. The dark red shade contrasted starkly against the usual white color that it had 2001 recoiling in shock. Usually 1146 would have enough sense to clean himself up immediately after a mission before seeking out a friend.
2001 definitely was not expecting his colleague at all.
"1146," 2001 answered in kind. He raised a pale eyebrow, although it wasn't apparent due to his wearing of a hat. "What brings you to this marginating pool?"
Normally, 1146 would bring up a topic that could be easily answered, 2001 would offer some insight relative to the question, and they would sit in companionable silence. It was a habit that had originated back in their youth as myelocytes. Over the course of the maturation, they kept up with the tradition and it had benefited them both; for 2001, it offered a sense of companionship that he didn't always receive due to his aloof nature and as for 1146...well, 2001 hoped that his friend also received the same sense of security and friendship.
1146 seemed to frown under the visor of his hat before vaguely commenting on the state of affairs within the body.
2001, not sure how to take this unexpected turn of events, remarked that all systems within the body were doing well.
And, for a few minutes, that was that.
Until—
"The normal cells do a fine job of replicating copies of themselves," 1146 said casually. "I wonder what their lives must be like, to continuously make copies of themselves, train their copies their ways, and finally let them go. Wouldn't that make life seem so boring and fleeting?" 1146 paused before continuing. "But they also seem so close knit; they're always playing games with each other. It's admirable, honestly, given that they're usually the ones who are targeted under bacterial or viral infections."
1146 stopped. Clearly, it was the time for 2001 to say something—anything that could provide validation or add on to 1146's observation, but 2001 didn't know what to do with this information.
Normal cells? Replication? Having fun? What was his colleague insinuating?
Shrugging, 2001 murmured, "It's their job and their nature, regardless of how mundane or trivial it may seem. All cells serve purpose; you should know this. We protect and the others serve."
1146 hummed thoughtfully as he processed those words.
"And the red blood cells...carrying those packages of oxygen or carbon dioxide continuously with little to no breaks…"
Was it 2001, or was 1146 looking wistful?
"They're always running around, destination to destination with no end in sight. Do they ever truly stop? We white blood cells are permitted breaks here and there; bacterial invasions or infections are frequent, yes, but not to the point where we never stop."
"They're born to do that," 2001 shrugged as he relaxed against the vessel wall. "At the bone marrow, they're trained so that they could travel great distances without feeling tired." Really, what was 1146 getting at with this inane conversation? Truly, it was thought provoking to think about the occupations of other cells, but this was elementary. All myelocytes knew why certain progenitor cells differentiated to become monoblasts, erythroblasts, promegakaryocytes, and so on.
2001 happened to glance at 1146 at that moment.
His colleague appeared lost in thought; his eyes were furrowed and covered in shadow, his body was hunched over as he contemplated. His dead stare, which was typical of all neutrophils, seemed even more probing and blank than normal. Typical 1146 pose, atypical cause for it.
"Why are you so interested in the erythrocytes anyway?"
"Oh. I met one who kept getting lost recently. You probably saw her in that one abrasion incident."
"Hmm, yes. That incident was definitely scarring."
1146 stared deep into 2001's eyes and barked a short note of laughter. Gone was his look of contemplation; it was now replaced with his favorite companion of the neutrophil bunch.
Finally. A reaction that 2001 fully calculated and expected.
"Well, 1146, I think we should head back to work."
"Noted."
He was patrolling an area near the foot—probably the ankle if he remembered correctly—at a capillary. Here, the roads were thin and crowded with red blood cells busy delivering the oxygen to their designated recipients. As 2001 observed from a narrow passageway, he thought back to 1146's words from earlier.
From an objective standpoint, it made sense that immune cells were allowed to have breaks every once in a while. They expended incredible amounts of energy defeating bacteria; therefore, they needed time to regroup and refresh. On the other hand, red blood cells ran around all the time, but they were trained to endure. They could withstand resistance longer and were allowed to walk on their way back on the circuit back to the lungs. For practical reasons, it made sense; different jobs yielded different needs.
So deep in thought he was, that he was completely blindsided when he heard a sudden crash and several curses from a group of passing red blood cells. Even though this situation could have been handled by others, he casually strolled from his hiding spot to see if there was any trouble. It appeared that one red blood cell (one with brilliantly red hair befitting of her cell type) had mistakenly bumped into another red blood cell (this one not as ostentatiously colored or differentiated). The situation looked like the red blood cells could deal with affairs within their circle (the redhead was already apologizing and gathering up the boxes of oxygen) so 2001 merely shrugged and moved back.
For several minutes, 2001 contented himself with his thoughts while he passively observed the red blood cells and a few platelets walking or running to their destinations. One of those who were running was a red blood cell (the very same who was the inciting incident for that accidental crash) who walked past him. Nothing interesting.
Well that in itself wasn't interesting until he saw that the clumsy red blood cell had walked past him again.
And again.
And...again.
After seeing that the red haired erythrocyte had passed by his hiding spot twenty-two times in a span of fifteen minutes, 2001 decided to step in.
Literally.
On the twenty third attempt, the erythrocyte had neglected to tighten her shoelaces. The result was, and this should have been obvious, was halfway disheartening to any aspiring red blood cell.
The scene was halfway disheartening because 2001 didn't want any cells under his watch to end up getting hurt—even if it was her own undoing.
Due to his quick reflexes and ideal spot, 2001 managed to grab her by the back of her shoulders and righted her up in record timing. For a moment, her eyes were dazed and confused; her mouth gaped open in a shrill scream that had 2001 wincing because of the pitch and frequency. Heavens above, such a sound at such punishing decibels shouldn't have been possible. However, she quickly turned to him and began apologizing—all of which he managed to deflect with the proper "oh's" and "mm-hhms".
"—orry, Mr. Neutrophil! I didn't—I mean, I'm kind of clumsy and I'm still trying to learn all my routes and—"
2001 held up a hand, which immediately quieted the red blood cell.
"Turn left on the main road and go straight for 100 micrometers. There, you'll see a checkpoint that has a reliable map and plenty of red blood cells who could help you." After observing the package of carbon dioxide that the red blood cell was carrying in her arms, he immediately deduced that her next destination was for the lungs.
Gobsmacked, the erythrocyte looked from the main road to 2001 and back. Was she dreaming? Was another neutrophil helping her out? Were all immune cells this nice?
Gratefully, she bowed again and thanked him graciously. However, when there was no reply, she found that he was no longer there. A little confused, but still overly grateful, she saluted the deserted area and headed off the main road. For now, she was content that she was back on track.
She hoped that she would find that kind, aloof neutrophil again in the future.
U-2001 couldn't help but...soften at the sight of the red blood cell saluting and then leaving with a smile so bright, that it could rival that of Dendritic Cell's. It wasn't every day that 2001 managed to see such a happy smiling cell in person. It was rare that cells would approach him, rarer still to see one so willing to thank him for such a trivial action.
Was it a habit of red blood cells to be so emotional and helpful?
Or was it just a trait of this particular red blood cell?
Briefly entertained with this thought, 2001 idled away until he heard his transceiver inform him that help was needed elsewhere.
This time, it was 2001 who approached his friend 1146 in a marginating pool. After the usual greeting and pleasantries, they lapsed back into silence. Again, the atmosphere felt safe and companionable; a far cry from the heat of battle and the call of bloodlust. It was soothing and for once, 2001 relaxed and let his back touch the wall of the blood vessel, fully at ease and a micrometer away from taking a nap, germs be damned.
"Something good happened today," 1146 commented as he watched his colleague sag against the wall in uncharacteristic tiredness.
Not a question; it was an observation.
"Depends on perspective."
"Then let me rephrase, from your perspective, did something good happen?"
2001 could have said anything. He could have said that he had a quiet time patrolling the foot. He could have said that he spent his entire patrol philosophizing and that he came across some great discovery before it disappeared like plasma. He could have said that his day was relatively peaceful other than that allergen that happened to run amok. If this were any other day, he would have said any of the above, but for some odd reason, images of a sweet smiling red blood cell who looked so earnest and trusting made him want to-to—
"I stopped a red blood cell from tripping." 2001 stared resolutely forward—no, he wasn't avoiding his companion's eyes. "It was all in a good day's work, I suppose."
Even without looking at his right, 2001 knew that 1146 was staring disbelievingly at him. Looking back, 2001 knew that this was a weak way to explain the feelings that were circulating throughout his nucleus. But really, what could he say? It wasn't a particularly big achievement or anything worth remembering. Heck, the only reason he remembered the event was because it was jarring to be thanked so honestly and with such vigor.
"It's our job to help all cells, regardless of circumstances." 2001 tried to justify. " If it was a platelet, you would do the same. It's our job."
1146 hummed in assent.
2001 could hear an underlying current of sarcasm, but he didn't mind. After all, he technically wasn't lying.
After a while, they said their goodbyes and left the marginating pool together before going their separate ways. Like any other meeting with his fellow white blood cell, 2001 was left with a sense of...not exactly loneliness, but an awareness that once again, he was alone with only his thoughts to keep him company.
On most days he was quite all right with that.
Today...today, he felt too old, too tired to be alone.

The Fisherman And The Mermaid Who Could Not Sing
Summary: Impervious-to-mermaid-songs fisherman, Iishiro (U-1146), somehow falls for the clumsy, can’t-sing-to-save-her-life mermaid, Reimi (AE-3803).
Notes: Mermaid!AU, of course.
[All names are taken from @lunchtimerushin 's (kyun-yo on AO3) Tumblr post.]
_____________
Twenty year old Iishiro could never understand why his friend Reiichi said that mermaids were mysterious and rare. He also said they were only found in the deep seas.
He could not have been more wrong.
The sea was literally infested with them, their songs and their bright, red tails.
But Reiichi would not understand because he was a paddy farmer and the only fishtails he encountered were those of the small fishes whose eggs he dropped in the waters.
His friend could go on and on about how wonderful and terrible mermaids could be and how men could spend their whole lives looking for them. He didn't understand.
He didn't understand what it meant to be a fisherman.
He didn't understand the thrill of the catch.
He also didn't understand what it was like being stalked by a mermaid.
… .. .
It began like this:
It was the time just before the break of dawn and he had spread his nets in the seas. He had been lying in his boat fast asleep when a cry woke him up.
“Ouch!” A splash, then another cry. He rushed outside to see the cause of the commotion.
It was yet another one of those devious mermaids and it looked like she had been caught in his nets. He expected her to break into a haunting song any moment, but it never came. A shrill scream reached his ears instead.
“Free me!”
He looked at her struggling form; she had really short bright, red hair and a glimmering red tail.
“What are you doing near my nets?”
She grew still.
“Catching fish,” she murmured after a short while.
“Mermaids don't eat fish. That's preposterous.”
“Oh my lord, why do you humans think we are fish protectors? What do you think we eat, seagrass and sand?”
Now it was his turn to quieten down.
“Okay, I am coming to get you out of there,” he said instead.
Iishiro removed his jacket and jumped into the cool waters in his vest and pants. He swam up to her to have a close look at her tail. It shimmered under the water.
It took him half an hour to finally free her from the nets.
She said her thanks and disappeared.
… .. .
The next time he saw her, she had been trying her hair with a fork she found in the debris of a drowned ship.
“That's not what they are used for,” he said casually. “Here, have this.” He tossed her his own tortoise shell comb which he had found lying around in his boat.
Till this date, his defense for giving her the comb was that he could not handle her idiocity.
He learnt her name was Reimi that day.
Reimi.
It slipped like silk on his tongue.
… .. .
She popped up wherever he was fishing. Not that he minded — he was a lonely man at the end of the day and she loved to talk. She was the only mermaid he didn't mind, actually.
"I'm actually surprised,” he said one day.
She looked up at him from her spot in the backwaters beneath him, amber eyes wide and quizzical. She was fiddling with her short tangle of fiery red hair, trying in vain to comb them with the small tortoise-shell comb Iishiro had found in the his boat. She had accepted the gift enthusiastically and had spoken about it to every seagull she knew.
She paused in her efforts to give him her rapt attention, idly sticking the comb in her hair to keep it safe.
"Hm? About what?"
He shrugged, looking towards the cresting waves beating against the rocky coast. For some reason, he couldn't seem to look her in the eyes as he talked.
"You're the only mermaid who didn't try to sing to me when we met."
He continues when she doesn't answer. “Come to think of it, I have never heard you sing.”
“That's just silly, Iishiro. Of course, you have heard me sing.”
“Oh really? I don't remember what you sang when we first met. My memory seems to be a bit fuzzy.”
“Fine. Stop pestering me. I didn't sing, okay?” she said. “I didn't think it would be worth it.”
Frankly, he was a little stung by the comment, but he played it off with his familiar emotionless face.
“Well, thanks,” he deadpanned.
Reimi looked at him and her eyes were wide and panicked, sunkissed skin rosy with mortification. "No, that's not it!" She insisted, waving her hands frantically about. "I just didn't think it would work, is all! Not that you aren't worth it, I mean you are, like, who wouldn't want to—erm, what I'm trying to say is, well, what I mean is—"
"Spit it out already,” he snapped.
"I can't sing, okay?"
He blinked once, twice, three times, studied her frazzled expression in her amber eyes, the deep stain of sunburn that coloured her cheeks and shoulders, the slight pout of her lip. And then he snorted.
"It's not funny, you big jerk!" she shouted, splashing at him with the shallow water around her.
"The worst—" Iishiro smirked, holding up an arm to block her sprays. "You are a terrible mermaid. Honestly. What kind of mermaid doesn't know how to sing? Isn't that what mermaids do?"
"Shut up!" she wailed, splashing her tail in self-consciousness. Her thrashing made the pool shimmer with ripples, and he couldn't help but notice the way the sunlight caught on her scales. "I know that I'm a terrible mermaid, okay! That doesn't mean that you have to be a jerk about it."
He actually felt bad; Reimi looked genuinely upset by his teasing. And he realised suddenly how terrible it must actually be to be a mermaid who can't sing; she had explained many times how singing is how they find their mates.
"Come on," he offered with what he hoped sounded like sincerity, "It can't be that bad."
"Yes it can," she mumbled, sinking down to blow dejected bubbles in the water with her lips.
"Don't pout about it."
"I'm not pouting!" she shouted, whirling around and hurling the comb at his head. He dodged it easily and heard it land in a nearby pool. She grumbled something, drifting to the far side of her little backwater pool.
He sighed and walked to retrieve the comb; he knew she loved the thing far too much. Iishiro could feel her angry eyes on him. He bent down and vaguely registered the feel of the comb on his hand, when he heard her.
It was very soft and barely audible against the crashing waves of the sea, but he heard her, anyway.
“The sea is hot today, the city by the bay —”
She was absolutely dreadful.
“— has stars and dreams of rage —”
Awful.
“ — The rumbling from distant shores sends me to sleep…”
He walked towards her, crouched down to look at her as she peered shyly up from beneath her dampened curls of hair. Her eyes were shining, luminous and big and so, so amber. How on earth could there be such an amber?
"But the facts of life can make it hard to dream,” she finished meekly, warbling and horrendously off-key.
"That —” his throat was suddenly very dry. He gingerly took the comb and tucked it into her hair behind her ear to hold back the unruly strands. Her eyes were still watching him, still embarrassed, and still very, very amber, " — was terrible."
“You jerk!”
“But I never said I didn't like it.”
That night, as he went to rest in his quarters in the boat, he heard her singing again and just wondered the irony of how out of all the mermaid songs that he had heard, this was the one that finally got him.

The Girl In The Train
Yay for Modern Day AU! The names came from the great @lunchtimerushin ! (I recommend you check their art but it's not for the faint of heart theyrevrybeautiful
Chapter 1: Strange People, Stranger Feelings
It wasn’t the first time.
It wasn’t the first time it had happened to her, it was almost a natural occurrence, actually. Standing in the train, a hand up to hold a pole, when it would suddenly just stop and send her off her footing, dropping to the ground.
It wasn’t the first time that she had been stuck in commute. It was actually the third.
“Again? This week?” She heard a murmur from her right, “Isn’t this the third time this week?”
She’d only ridden the train to Nishi-Funabashi three times.
She placed the earbud back in her right ear and tried to stand, only when she did, the train moved then stopped abruptly.
She readied herself for the fall, probably with a bruise this time, but it never came.
All she felt was something holding her up from her arms and a hard but warm object pressed against her face.
“Are you alright?”
She nearly jumped when the object vibrated and she heard a deep voice of a man despite the music going on.
“Ah! I’m so sorry!” She pulled away from the object and looked up, only to see a man with his right eye covered but his left staring back at hers, “I didn’t mean to fall for you-, I mean, fall on you.”
She removed her earbuds, but she really just wanted to act like nothing ever happened. It wasn’t like it was embarrassing to fall over to a man’s torso at a packed transit filled with complete strangers. Nope, definitely not.
“It’s okay,” the man responded, “But are you okay?”
She nodded despite the sting that she was feeling on her knee, “Yeah, it’s fine, don’t worry about it. It’s not hurting much.”
“Are you sure though? You have a scrape wound on your knee,” he pointed out, “Do you want me to find you a seat?”
“No, no, it’s fine! I can stand. Really,” she declined, “But thank you for the concern,” she muttered out the last part.
He nodded without another word.
A brown headed child sitting in front of her rummaged through her bag and pulled out a square band-aid with a pink checkered pattern and a happy face drawn on it. The child stood and reached it out for her.
“This makes me feel better when I get a wound,” the child said with a sweet smile, “I hope you feel better soon.”
She smiled weakly at the child, thanking her for her generosity.
She peeled off the paper keeping the adhesive from sticking together and stretched her right leg just a little bit. The man grabbed the band-aid from her hand and knelt down, putting the band-aid on her injured knee.
“You should clean this up when you get home,” he advised, “It’s not good for wounds to be open and unclean.”
She wanted to scream.
What was he doing? Why was he so nice? Was this his natural self? Was he naturally so kind? But to strangers? It was odd, very odd, for someone to go out of their way to help some klutz stranger. They didn’t even know each other’s names for Pete’s sake! So… why?
She took a deep breath and held on to it. It wasn’t everyday that strangers were so kind to her. He was too kind though…
The man got up and stood next to her, completely unaware of the tons of questions she was screaming in her mind.
The train slowly started moving again and she quickly looked around to see if there were any poles nearby that she could hold on to (the one that she previously held on to was so far now with all the falls she had). With nothing nearby, she held onto the hope that she wouldn’t fall again.
“Highly unlikely.”
She felt a hand grab her wrist before it was pulled up to hold something. She looked up to her left and saw that the man had placed her hand on his arm which was holding on to the railings above. She blushed furiously at the sight.
“What is… what’s this guy doing?!”
She looked away and bit her lip, face turning as red as the jacket she wore.
“Please don’t let it be obvious. Please don’t let it be obvious. Please don’t let it be-.”
“Are you sick?” The man asked, “You’re turning a bit red. Are you getting hot because there’s so many people in here?”
“N-n-no,” she muttered, “I’m fine.”
There were no more words. When the train finally came to a halt at her stop, she brought her hand down, and faced the man.
“Th-thank you,” she told him, “For helping me. And catching me. And putting on this band-aid. And being my pole to hold on to.”
“It’s no problem,” he replied then turned around.
“Will I ever see you again?” She blurted out before she could think about asking it.
“What did I just say?!”
He turned around, a curious look on his face.
“I-I mean, it just… do you think we’d see each… other… around…?” She repeated like it wasn’t the most humiliating thing she had ever done.
“Well…” he started, “This city’s big.”
She frowned a bit at the response. She shouldn’t even be though. He was just another person at the train.
“But I guess we live in the same place so we’ll see each other someday,” he continued.
“Oi! Iishiro!” Another man called from behind him, “We gotta go!”
The man nodded at the other before leaving her on her own, still standing inside the mix of crowd.
The doors of the train closed as soon as he had walked out, her eyes still trained at his back.
“Please turn around. Please look at me again. Please. One more time.”
He turned back around and their eyes met for one more second before she snapped out of the stupor, breaking eye contact.
The train moved once more and an announcement that they were headed to the next stop was heard.
She held a breath that she didn’t know then peered outside again, seeing the signs outside.
Signs welcoming people to Nishi-Funabashi.
“Nishi-Funabashi!” She shouted, “This is my stop! This is my stop!”
•••
After all the convincing she did to almost every staff in the train and apologies to all the people, she was allowed to go off the train and not miss her stop. She sighed deeply then started walking away from the tracks when she was called.
“Reimi!” A brunette looking a few years older than her called, a wide smile on her face, “Reimi over here!”
She grinned wide and ran over to the woman calling her, “Eiko! I missed you so much! It’s nice to see you here.”
“I was waiting for someone and then I saw you,” Eiko answered, “Are you getting the hang of the job?”
She nodded, “I really really love this job. Thanks for referring me.”
“Let me see the letter,” Eiko said, reaching out her hand.
Reimi pulled out a white envelope from her duffel bag and handed it to Eiko. Once the brunette saw it, she frowned.
“You…” Eiko started, “You’re off by one station. This letter’s for Fuchūhommachi.”
“What?!” Reimi snatched the letter from her friend’s hand, reading the text on it, “B-but it says-.”
“Fuchūhommachi is a nearer stop than this one. You have to go around just so you can deliver this,” Eiko replied.
Reimi groaned in frustration, looking back at the empty tracks, “I knew it! It was going too well.”
Eiko patted Reimi at the back, “It’s okay. I was once like that too. You’ll get the hang of it.”
“I only have a few things that I have to deliver and yet I can’t even do it right,” Reimi pointed out.
“But you will. Somehow.” Eiko gave the girl a smile, “You always do. I trust you with that. Cheer up, Reimi. You’re still doing good.”
Reimi sighed again before giving back a small smile, “Well I better get going. Have to deliver this today. Thanks, Eiko.”
•••
“So what was that?”
“What was what?” Iishiro turned to the younger man.
“Don’t act like you don’t know. The girl in the train,” the man replied.
“Who?” Iishiro asked.
“The cute girl with the red hair and the red jacket! Don’t act like it happened last decade,” the man replied.
“I was just being helpful, Haku,” Iishiro responded, “Can’t I be nice?”
“Okay.” Haku chuckled, “First of all, you’re not nice.”
This earned the younger man a glare, “I am nice.”
Haku rolled his eyes, “Second, you don’t just talk to anybody. You’re… it was really odd.”
“Reimi!”
The two men turned to their right and saw the girl from the train with the red jacket.
“Reimi over here!”
“So her name’s Reimi,” Iishiro muttered.
“So her name’s Reimi,” Haku imitated with a teasing tone, “You’re interested in her.”
Iishiro turned around then continued walking, “No I’m not.”
“Oooof course you aren’t.” Haku smirked, following Iishiro, “I feel so honored to be the first one to see you like this.”
“Like what?” Iishiro asked.
“To see you so in love,” Haku teased.
“In love? With who?” Iishiro questioned.
“The girl!” Haku replied.
“Which girl? I saw a lot of girls today,” Iishiro responded.
“Reimi! The cute Reimi whom you met at the train! The one that fell over and you helped her and you patched up her wound,” Haku explained.
“Oh, Reimi,” Iishiro paused, “What about her?”
Haku groaned in frustration, staying silent instead.

Instead of just reminding you guys not to reblog/like reposted art, I wanted to recommend good knb art blogs!! These artists post for different ships/characters, not just akakuro.
Still active in the knb fandom:
gurako-posts
akashikuroko
tamireli
yuonsup
yudu-co
justsimplyl
sxilin
takeabiteofapple
loenth
hani-kami
mosaku-k(? not sure if still active)
gaolog

lunchtimerushin
annciel7
picricx
snowmiya (doesn’t produce art, but obtains permission to post!!)
skylaryozora
asa8xxx
ceallachs
seijx
extezzy
ryoozer
Active, but multifandom or in another fandom (not knb) - I still recommend checking them out & you can also look in their archive for knb art:
houdidesu
oyakorodesu
nijiro-no
yuukis (previously seijuurovevo)
aki00113
snowwharasho
aiharasama
jaegervega
ahophiles
feri-marifedraws
haikyuusmiles
linipik
miruo-cchi
No longer active, but has an archive full of great knb art:
manaorin
hopperbot (previously ceruly)
amettenyl
zknzknzknzknzkn
If I made a mistake, please be sure to let me know! Also PLEASE add on blogs that I missed, I would deeply appreciate it. Most of all, some of the artists above ^^^ have had their art stolen and reposted. Reblog from the source, please. Thank you~ <3

i’m not making any fancy ass post but i just wanna say thank you to all the friends i’ve made, friends that left, people who did me dirty and people who did me straight. i especially wanna say a quick thank you to @seamonstress, @cathydoll, @tenacityreturns, @brumatifl, @rosetempt, @lunchtimerushin  ( art blog ) for talking to me and checking in on me when i wasn’t talking / down in the dumps about life. it’s been a hella long year, ( im lying where the FUCK did the year go ) and it’s been hella tough, away from my family. without any of the people who took the time to check in on me, i probably would still be in a bad mental state, without any of the people who did me dirty-- thanks for those memories and making me stronger. let’s all have a good 2018 and i hope it brings good fortune to all of us.

Band Cell is best boy - Then 1146 can be best old man senpai. =D
Oh my... what does that make 2001? Best ancient cryptid that only shows up once in a while.
I’m so sorry, my boy deserves better, but no one is willing to give him the chance. Where’s lunchtimerushin when you need them?
But, yes, Band Cell is best boy! :D

Fic Recs
Tumblr media
So, here I am, recommending fics for this nascent fandom. I am recommending things which I feel are really great and will leave a mark on your mind. Of course our baby, Erythrophil, is present here too.
Anyway, onto the list:
01. Death Gives Beauty by viridiansky
Neutrophil just wants to protect cells.
All cells.
He does the best he can.
Read this beautiful one-shot. Clocking close to a whopping 5000 words, this story is seriously worth the time. There are some serious spoilers for the manga, but nothing new for those who have read up to Chapter 25. The drama and angst between the main pairing is just so sweet, it will leave you crying.
02. Origins by thepineandthestar
I wonder if that boy from that day grew up to be a White Blood Cell.
It was a long time ago, I can't even remember his face.
Could it be...
No it can't be.
I mean... what are the odds?
Read for the backstory on Erythrophil. This has spoilers for Chapter 7 of the manga. You should read it because it's beautifully written and the interaction between our faves is awesome.
03. Hats off to You by Devin Trinidad
U-1146 manages to lose his hat when chasing after a bacterium. AE-3803 has no choice but to find him.
This is such a sweet story! Seriously. You'll leave with a smile and lots of warmth in your heart. You'll feel like you're reading something written by Shimizu herself.
04. Immune Response by Devin Trinidad
In which the neutrophils speculate a little about the supposed more-than-friendship-relationship between U-1146 and AE-3803.
READ FOR THE SQUAD. ENOUGH SAID.
05. Pink Blood by Skaapsteker
A white blood cell and a red blood cell have a short break together.
It. Was. The. First. Story. Pay. Homage. :3
