I love how after reading New Moon I always just assumed that Alice's family was rich and she (like Maggie) made people uncomfortable with her predictions of the future which always came out to be true and she was an embarrassment because they thought she was crazy and that's why they locked her in an asylum

And then I read the guide and there's a whole convoluted murder plot with mariticide, a resentful aunt, and a Yankee floozy and I'm like "I think mine was more realistic but go off I guess."

I just realized that the Cullens were basically complete by 1950, right? That’s when Alice and Jasper arrived.

That’s also 3 years after the Cold War began.

Imagine having this family in your town/city where they are all extremely beautiful, introverted, and are all together in some way despite being related by either marriage or adoption.
