Today was a low productivity day, and you know what? That's fine. I did very little, and what I did took me a long time. Study-wise I only finished organizing my protohistory notes, I had to check whether I had missing informations on what I wrote so far, and for some reason that takes me a lot of time. I was planning to work on some materials for other classes, but I was tired and decided to work on that tomorrow. I am still getting my energies back from the past week or so of not feeling at my best. It's weird but even though I was mostly struggling emotionally, that was just as tiring as getting a bad cold, or something physical. And since apparently I decided this will be a year of healing and self care (especially from an emotional point of view) I don't want to ignore these things, and mostly I don't want to feel guilty because I listen to my body and act accordingly to what I need to feel better.

Productivity:

finished organizing my protohistory notes, and made sure to add all the missing informations

practiced Irish on duolingo

worked on a future post

set up my March reading journal spreads

Self care:

drank my tea in bed and read first thing in the morning (best way to start a slow morning to be honest)

had a pretty intense therapy session

talked to a friend on the phone (I will be completly transparent I wasn't looking forward that phonecall, I love my friend but apparently my social batteries lately are dead. I am happy I did it because it was nice in the end, it was good to talk to her)

journaled a little bit

hair mask (I haven't done one since I cut my hair short for the first time I think, and my hair feels so soft now why did I even stop doing this)

A Separate Falls

asp(bo?) x Gravity falls crossover idea/spoilers

at boarding school still, but the two (Gene as Dipper and Finny as Mabel) explore the supernatural things around the school, and meet Bill Cipher. Bill reaches out to Gene after he tries to kill Finny, but there's reason to suspect he was helping push him to the verge of doing that from the sidelines. He makes a deal with Bill to keep him from telling Finny, but something something I dunno. Later Finny causes weirdmageddon by wishing that their school session wouldn't end/the war didn't exist, and ends up in his own little perfect world. Or, Gene makes the deal that he had never done that to Finny and that that summer had never ended, and in his dreamscape that Finny has to pull him out of, he is impersonating Finny. He wears his clothes, and everyone in his dream world calls him by that name. By the end of it Finny finally stops denying that Gene jounced the limb and Gene stops trying to drown in guilt. Maybe an adventure where Brinker calls on Bill to go into his head and find out the truth about his fall, Leper and Gene go with (for different reasons of course) Maybe the Suicide Society had more of a focus on something magical/supernatural

If it was aspbo... I just think it'd be cool to see those guys in it XD Wex would definitely be the one doing rituals to try to make a deal and grow powerful, but I feel like Tug would end up being the one to let him in while in his concussed state. Wex would also probably be trying to get in Eric's mind to figure out weaknesses.

Two weeks ago I rewrote some parts of YLM because I saw some panels from the special chapter and the vibes just remind me of the song. But it felt strange because YLM originally is about the most painful heartbreak. However, I realized I do have this preference to match HisaKiki with songs that sound delicate, which I think is exactly the commonality between HisaKiki, a budding romance, and YLM, an ending romance — a relationship is probably most delicate and fragile at its beginning and/or at its end.

@sabishi-tomo 's comment to my post about Kiki's romantic interests helped me figure out that "choice" is a keyword in Kiki's romantic relationship, and it's also what inspired me to do this whole rewriting✨.
