I saw someone say "literally name anything about G2" and okay here I go.

it's like G3 with yassification. Everything is magic- the beds fly, their gardens have multiple stories even though it's outdoors, everypony is a princess. They have crystals in their eyes, they swap tails- when you make them kiss each other, they whisper "I love you". Gay as hell (<-positive)

There was like one maybe two Unicorns (major L), and no Pegasus- because some ponies came with fucking fairy butterfly wings. And you could just put those bitches on anything. Any pony could have wings as long as you had the accessory.

The art direction is so specifically 90s in my head, it took the liminality and drama from G1 and began to glamorize the ponies even more (sculpts, crystal eyes, a lot ponies have outfits). The sculpting design and direction for the playsets and accessories looks otherworldly despite being so very recognizable to me- they're inherently uncanny, but tinker with hyper feminization. It's all slightly off, but that's what draws me in (someone who didn't grow up with MLP toys, but found an interest later on)

It's a shame there was practically nothing media wise because this was so iconic. Their biggest flops are the lack of interesting molds and the weird romantic couple packs. I don't think G2 is perfect, there's some major Ls in there.

the reason I don't enjoy G2 as much is because of a lack of content, and accessibility. I still love G1 and G3 quite a bit more right now because, I have more interest in collecting them (but that could change)

hey tumblr folk! i seem to have a bit of a conundrum, hehe.

about a week ago, i bought this amazing rarity figure from a thrift store. i love it,

except for one thing.

as shown in these pictures, the figure has scribbles on it from some sort of marker, left on by the previous owner (presumably a child.)

now, for the few days afterwards, i have meticulously tried to clean the scribbles, with little to no avail. i've tried hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, soap, rubbing alcohol, dry-erase marker, etc., with nearly nothing working.

now here's where all of you come in.

in the midst of attempting to clean the figure, i thought: "what if ned flanders was a horse?" which turned into "what if ned flanders was in mlp: fim?" and finally:

"what if i made this rarity figure into ned flanders?"

i wanted to try this, however, since i've never done a custom horse before, i don't know if i'll do good on it. also, if i somehow fuck it up, i'll ruin a moderately ok rarity figure. so this stumped me, until i thought: "maybe i could ask the tumblr folk if they wanted me to either make this figure into ned flanders, or try more to remove the scribbles?"

so, here i am, writing this at 3 am, asking at least one person if they think i should make horse ned flanders a reality.

tl;dr: bought a rarity figure from a thrift store that was scribbled on, tried to clean it for about a week, thought about ned flanders as a horse, and then asked tumblr if i should continue to clean the figure as is, or make it into ned flanders.

now, here's where you can decide if i make ned flanders pony real or continue cleaning rarity:

(i've been thinking about naming the ned flanders pony "ned flandhoof," if you can think of something better then go right ahead lol)

i just got this trixie figure (finally found some g4 merch...) and its neat and all yeah but these accessories annoy me probably more than they should

dont give trixie of all characters this generic girls toy accessory crap give her some stuff fitting of her character, like her cloak or hat or smth, a magic wand i dont know.

i probably shouldve known itd be something like this but still come on,,
