Hi there! I had a few questions about signing up as an artist—at what stage should our art WIP be by the Feb checkin date? and when is the final piece due? I don't think I saw it listed on the calendar, so I wanted to see if I'd have enough time to work on it if I joined! Thanks mods <3

I think we may have all gotten a little muddled up - entirely our fault as we hadn't updated the schedule yet (but here is a link to this year's actual schedule)! This year, we are running a normal bang, not a reverse one, and sign-ups open april 10th for everyone. artists will claim a fic/writer that they want to work with and make art based on that. all art needs to be finished by your posting date, which will be in late august!

Most people don’t know he’s still on the server - they think he left a long time ago. And, there is some truth to that statement, albeit not in the way most think.

Sure, he doesn’t play anymore, but he’s still an admin. He helps with server-side stuff and weeding out bugs, there to take off some of the load from Xisuma. (One person can’t manage a single server of that size, now matter how strong they are.) He just doesn’t interact that much, is all. Most new hermits don’t even expect him to be there.

But, the rare occasion he does pop in, he’s greeted with joy and love. People are always excited to see him, and he likes it that way.

He's always been busier, and eventually he just couldn't keep up. He doesn't mind it. Even though he's outside the server most of the time, he still keeps in contact. And he makes sure to leave some extra time when he does visit, so he isn't just helping with maintenance or a technical issue before leaving again!

It's always good to see the others again. And surprise the new guys.
