Sorry if it's dumb but what is going to be about the stories? It's about different characters? Or mainly ships?

If you're a writer, your story can be about anything you'd like! As long as it focuses on at least one character from the Kyoshi novels. If you're an artist, you'll just be creating art based off of the writer's story that you're paired to (you'll get to choose your top 3 summaries).

i don’t know if you mentioned this but will you be accepting works in which Calypso is a member of the ship? I assume it should be fine with characters who are 16+ as she doesn’t age mentally or physically?

we r going to say yes! calypso is kind of awkward in any position in a ship because she’s an immortal titan--but she’s also a teen girl stuck on an island and doesn’t age. she’s functionally 16, and as long as she's written in healthy dynamics, then content that features her and characters that were 16+ in the series are welcomed :)

History, huh... well, there's Almia Castle, of course! It's way up north past Hia Valley. According to legend, it's where the King of Almia lived a long time ago, with his three sons. But the sons fought frequently, and so, two of them were banished to other places...

One of the sons was kicked out  to Hippowdon Temple--it's this old ruin in the Haruba Desert. There's lots of traps there, though, to protect against intruders. I wish someone would go in and disarm those things already.

The third son was sent to Volcano Cave. It's just what it sounds like: a maze of caves within the Boyleland Volcano. It's handy to bring a Water-type with you. I made the mistake of bringing my Snover, and, well... he didn't like it much.

If you're just talking about interesting places, then the 'Oil Field Hideout' is a must see. After the fall of Team Dim Sun, the Union remodeled it into a museum and marine conservation center. It's actually pretty popular among tourists!

All the places we listed just now, except for the former Hideout, are restricted to Rangers only because they're so dangerous. If you want to go, you have to submit an application to the Union, and if accepted, they assign you a Ranger as an escort.

If you’re going to Hippowdon Temple, though... don’t ask me. Please.

Hey I'm not saying you should allow pipazel or anything, but Piper in heroes of olympus is actually 15. Just like thought it should be corrected!

oh yeah, at the start of the series piper is definitely 15! but TLH starts in december, and six months later in late june, percy arrives at camp jupiter in SoN, meaning that piper’s birthday (june 3rd) has passed, and she is 16 from SoN onward.
