ok while we're back on the dotc dissing train can we all take the time to acknowledge THIS trainwreck of a side character and his plotline?

bro is literally a deadbeat dad who left his pregnant mate (who's portrayed as hysterical and unreasonable) behind in the mountains because he no longer gave a shit and she vows his kits will never even know his name yet for some reason years later he's remembered as a hero by his son (who's also named after him) who idolises the fact that he abandoned him and his mother and is genuinely devastated to find out he died after journeying to meet him

I didn't want to draw Ashfur, Bluestar, Cinderpelt and Crowfeather cause they are different as hell in the book itself? Soooo friends offered to draw black/white solid cats instead (I chose the black ones because there are more characters I like).

I think about Crowfeather as a black smoke cat, not "very-very dark gray", so he counts here, but Scourge is an impostor a bit with his white paw. I also hate adding red/white spots on solid black cats, I think it ruins their vibes, that's why Scourge and Lightning Tail don't have patterns at all, not because I'm lazy, lol. They are pure void.

E'klips is from the Moon Shadow clan, she later becomes the matriarch. Her first sucklings were fraternal twin girls, Sol'a and Lu'a. They stay close knit with their mother, helping her whenever. More so when their mother became the matriarch.

Sol'a is comforting and warm like the sun, a passive nature but fierce and protective. Especially for her sister and mother. She is the priestess's personal guard.

Lu'a became a priestess, after claiming to hear otherworldly voices. In the Moon Shadow's clan, they worship the moon, the guardian bird. A spirit guide for a successful hunt and is Paya's hunting bird.

And then he does and is chased out by an angry mob LMAO i was actually laughing. I could hear the record scratch in my head,

"Yep! That's me! I'll bet you're wondering how I ended up in this situation. Well it all started when I left my pregnant wife,"

Gray Wing, staring at Tall and Moon: "oh my god how can one litter produce a cat so based and another so cringe"

Even the other cats know how much of a sopping wet loser he is I'm in love.

"Moon Shadow I'm pregnant you can't leave"

Deadbeat jackass leaves for the forest with a WIFE AT HOME oh my goddd it's not even like he's this great, respected hunter who's leaving to aid the group, or like Pinestar after the pressure makes him want to live his last days as a kittypet. Moon Shadow is JUST stinky.

They don't even play it (in sun trail at least) like it was a great sacrifice his mate has to understand (im sure its coming but its NOT HERE YET), he's just a sleaze. This is so funny.

I completely forgot Wind Runner even though WindClan is one of my faves. Regardless here is a quick sketch/WIP for the DOTC series. Hopefully Ill be able to come back to this and flesh it out later.

I feel like all my cats have same face syndrome and I'm not the biggest fan of this Rinver Ripple design but that's what WIP means right? Right guys? :,)
