I really wanted to animate a character again, sometimes even the most simple of animations can scratch that itch .w.!!
Also I really like implementing the lineless art into my animation, makes it feel more stopmotion/paper cutout-esque .w.!!
Hope y'all enjoy the Daughter of Hollownest!!
I was gonna write it was going to give people whiplash because of my personal art, but I draw cute stuff sometimes and post pumpkin photos, so the mood of my blog is already weird. I guess I could make an art-only side-blog to reblog the art I post here. Mmmmmm.
So excited to finally present this! Ever since I heard this song, I've been dying to tell a story with it, and I'm so happy that I have it done!
For this project, I wanted to challenge myself to create something longer(this is currently my longest video to date), become more experienced with using After Effects, and create a compelling story through visual imagery.
Anyway, I hope that you enjoy this video as much as I do. If you like what I do, you can expect more videos like this in the future so be sure to follow( and hey, give me like and subscribe if you happen to go to my YouTube page).
Feel free to follow me on my socials as well, I tend to give updates on Instagram and TikTok regularly.

I tried to upload the video here but it will not let me, so I compromised with using only the title card.
This is a project I created over the course of this spring for my Motion Graphics class. The story is from @erinmorgenstern 's book "The Starless Sea." I read it over the winter break and absolutely fell in love with it! When the teacher gave us full creative reign for our final project I wanted to try to do something from the story. When I found this audio it felt like fate.
I hope you enjoy it!
