#better drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #yiling laozu #Happy Friday the 13th! #This is scientific fact btw! #Ventilation operates through a series of active and passive forces #The active forces being muscular contraction with inhalation and exhalation having their own set of muscles. #but the interesting part is the passive forces at work: #The lungs have a certain level of elasticity to them - meaning the more they expand the more the those elastic forces are functioning- #-to try and return the system to rest (exhalation passive forces). Your diaphragm is the main force - pushing against the lungs at rest. #Your ribcage on the other hand is under a state of being pulled outwards. It *wants* to be as open as possible. #These to contradicting forces create a constant push and pull which assists in the ebb and flow of air. Most significantly with exhalation. #Now that being said - the primary action of inhalation ventilation is through control centers in your brainstem. #If you lose connection to that due to trauma you're going to need ventilation assistance. #Small note: Respiration is the cellular event of chemical exchange in the alveoli. Ventilation is airflow and pressure. #They are both important but also very different things. Sadly used interchangeably. #My anatomy nerd brain is screaming over the inaccurate ribcage...but its...recognizable. The lack of body hair had been a conscious choice originally because I wanted her skin to seem more like clay than animal (thus all the texture too). However the moment you sent this I went 😳 omg hairy Diana 😳. I am a firm believer in Diana having a lot of body hair in other interpretations, and I’m going to experiment over the next while to see how I can a) better render her skin to be clay-like, and b) see if body hair works.

But in the meantime, have some hairy Diana! ❤️

I know she's more slender in canon but I have a this thing for Sakura looking adorable and petite when she's all covered up, especially in her lab coat, and looking jacked when she takes it off. The fact that she can cause earthquakes with her punches and have the muscles to prove it is so 👌👌. Especially an older and more seasoned Sakura.

Just because she's busy being a mother and konoha's top medical ninja doesn't mean she'll willingly skip her regular arm day exercises. Probably exchanges workout tips with Lee every now and then. Time has lessened her exasperation and now she's slightly more eager to be his occasional workout buddy.

I have to include sasusaku as well so of course he'll be there appreciating the view while Sarada is in constant awe at her mother's physique.

Getting tired of not posting anything here, so I decided to post all of my sketches of Made, based on a foreshortening photo pack from @jookpubstock. The idea was just to practise anatomy and perspective, but I used an OC of mine to keep my attention on the project.

Made (pron. "Ma-day") was the best choice for this because she's lean and muscular. I'm quite happy that I got to show some of her personality in these pics. The word balloons in the last few pics are my inner cartoonist taking over and turning this study in,to a kinda comic. The artist in the final drawing is a bad sketch of Tomoko, an OC of my spouse Killa7 who appears in her webcomic, Here and Now.

(3/4) of my Frankenstein inspired anatomy drawings posted! This is a charcoal (regular and white) piece of the muscles and tendons inside the forearm. Out of all the sketches, this one is probably my favorite, idk I just like the way it looks.

Is it accurate though? Probably not.

From the 1 minute of looking up the anterior forearm structure, there appears to be 5(?) tendons connecting to the flexor muscles that appear in that portion of the forearm.

Accurate or not, I just enjoyed drawing something.
