"Thankfully, the moment I absorbed the fragment wasn't enough to kill me outright. It was only the beginning."

First piece of Gale I can actually call done issss…the gloves!
The buckle hardware I got ended up a bit bigger than expected, but I like the design of it so I’m not too fussed. I also went with knit gloves (not made by me lol, I bought those) rather than the in-game leather look, because Gale definitely strikes me as the type to be wearing the nice cosy (spell resistant) gloves his mum knitted for him.
Just me being increasingly dramatic with my hands while I give you 10 seconds of burn damage as I ignite your soul! (Sorry!)
Implemented some slight changes to my Grieving Mother cosplay for Zenkaikon. Other than the new bracelets, I also wore one of my old wigs that I was going to retire because it was too messy, but it worked really well for the character. Then I wore a pair of grey contacts to match her eye color better, though it only made my eyes a few shades lighter in the right light.
Also for those who asked in my last GM post if the chimes on my bracelets jingled, they do! Whenever I got separated from my group, I would shake my wrists so that they would hear them and turn around. Happened frequently, actually!
TERFs die mad: you just reblogged a nasty transgender person with pronouns and all who did this historical look to explore their cultural history as well as express their own nonbinary identity in a way that resonates with them. An edit I wish I didn’t have to make on this post
I’ll try to post the actual pictures I took soon, but I was bored today and wanted to shirk some other responsibilities, so I decided to do some general vague Minoan or Mycenaean look since it’s been on the mind and also my hair was looking really good today and I wanted to take advantage of that haha
