Okay, back on my MXTX bullshit because sometimes I can't believe the slander. But I wanna talk about why MXTX deserves to get whatever profit and protection from her work that she can (other than the obvious fact that it's her fucking work, so obviously she should prosper from it, that's how jobs work?)
So, the thing that drives me insane about MXTX books, and a thing I have talked about on here before, is that she is delivering an overarching message in every book she writes, and the message says: If a system of power is turned against you, no matter how good you are, no matter how strong, or selfless, or kind, or loving, or brave, no matter how perfect you can be, it won't matter, because the individual is powerless to the system. Systemic change is the only way to protect the ones the current system deems powerless or unnecessary.
And before you come in with, "She was fetishizing gay men," MXTX literally wrote hundreds of thousands of words characterizing these men and building their relationship and devotion to one another, so much so that fanon has deemed them all aspec in varying ways. She chose to deliver a message about the power of the system to persecute the innocent and the powerless in the form of a story that was 1. Illegal, 2. Humanized a specifically targeted persecuted group, and 3. Gave them all the happy endings they deserved despite all the pain to get there. She showcased the difference that systemic support can make in the life of the persecuted as the closing arc in every single one of her books.
Don't tell me MXTX doesn't fucking care. She's still delivering her message and she's doing it louder and safer, and i hope she gets every creature comfort the world can offer.

had some more thoughts about bell's hells current party structure
making a note: i think a lot of this stuff is consistent with the characterization thus far and i'm talking about it purely on a character level rather than including the players.
right now, especially since they're now together, imogen and laudna have made a point of prioritizing each other. they are each other's first points of contact, and they've been sticking to a united front of accepting power in the form it comes in and supporting each others' decisions in this respect. the fact that they have that rapport makes whatever they jointly say stronger in the group context, just by having multiple voices behind one course of action. sometimes others in the group agree or disagree, but never as unilaterally as the sorcerers.
i think part of the problem with trust in the party is that imodna notably have trust issues and at the same time are trying to guide how others in the group behave. they've been pushing the hardest on giving fearne the shard and having her 'accept her power'. when the others have talked about it with her, there's been more consideration of what fearne wants and her perception of what the shard will do. at the same time, laudna is actively opening up to delilah again, and felt so betrayed by ashton that she fully regressed. imogen berated ashton and is getting rid of the thing that is preventing scrying and protecting her from incursion so that she can open her mind to read thoughts again and predict what everyone is going to do. there's a pattern of them leaning into their darker impulses and now they're pushing fearne to do the same.
they talked about orym being the only normal guy in a group of time-bombs. what's notable is that the chetney and fcg have actively worked on maintaining control, fearne is avoiding the possibility with everything in her, and ashton blew up and learned from the experience. there's a split in how they are dealing with power that i think is going to be a point of contention especially as they decide what to do with the shard. who knows if they'll even have it--maybe morrigan will take it for her collection.
i'm hoping that the trust exercise next week isn't going to turn into a bloodbath, not the least because these two have some of the rawest edges when it comes to trust. obviously the source of the trust issues is not solely imogen and laudna. it wouldn't be party-wide if it was. but what are they going to do if delilah emerges during it and makes a grab for the magic items/shard while they're all suspicious. frankly, what are they going to do if imogen starts making mental incursions and doesn't like what she sees.
everyone else either has a handle on it or doesn't have gas in the tank to blow up right now. maybe fcg depending on how the stress points are doing. but still.

I like the canon version of the Marauders, a very close group of friends who are mostly good people who do have a flaw of being bullies to Snape, but they were starting to grow out of it, but were screwed over because of a terrible war. I hate the fanon version of the Marauders that are portrayed as uber feminists who bullied Snape the incel in the name of social justice. I also don’t like how some parts of the Marauders fandom acts of if Regulus Black is the real true love of James when in reality James always had a crush on Lily. I also don’t like how WolfStar is treated as OTP and some people go so far as to say you are homophobic if you don’t ship them. To me nothing pointed to Remus ever being attracted to guys, in fact I think it was more likely that he was straight. I see Sirius as being pansexual, but I think his main guy crush was James, not Remus. The only reason why he never acted on that crush was because he knew that James was straight and in love with Lily.

Anybody who says Katniss was bullied into marriage and having children either, A.) Doesn't know Katniss Everdeen, and therefore did NOT read the books, or B.) They have completely misinterpreted the entire message of The Hunger Games series and are incapable of seeing the bigger picture.
Which is that Katniss never wanted to be anything more than free. She just wanted to take care of her family and live her life freely. All these people harping on her for getting married and having babies forget that Katniss made her vow not to marry as a reaction to her father's death and her mother's abandonment.
That decision and almost all of her subsequent decisions in the books up until the end of Mockingjay regarding love and marriage revolve around fear.
The message of the Hunger Games when it comes to love is not that there is nothing to fear about falling in love or getting attached to people. All through the series its proved time and again that love and emotional attachment is costly. Because everytime Katniss allows herself to get close to someone they get hurt.
But what Katniss learns is that love and caring for others cannot be avoided completely. It's part of the human experience that cannot be denied unless you want to end up like President Snow, emotionally dead inside, caring only about yourself and what people can do for you. And avoiding/running away from human connection is often just as painful as losing it. And it is detrimental to people.
Katniss loses her sister in the war and almost loses herself because feels she failed at protecting the people she cared for. Everyone from Prim, to Rue, to Cinna, Squad 451, Finnick, and Peeta. She is barely alive and barely hanging onto her sanity after the war.
The thing that brings her back to life is Peeta moving back to District 12. His return is the sign that she can rebuild her life after losing nearly everything.
Because Peeta too, lost nearly everything including his own mind. But he fought hard to reclaim his memories and his mental health. He helps Katniss recover from the mental and emotional toll the war and everything that came before.
Because at the foundation of their relationship is their enduring promise to keep each other alive, to protect each other, and it goes so much deeper than romance or sex and whatnot.
They've been through hell and back many times and know each other inside out. When they fall back in love it's not because they feel pressured, but because they finally feel free to do so. It's just them and Haymitch in the Victors village and they know they don't have to put on an act for him, or anyone really.
Their relationship is finally allowed to take it's natural course, which Katniss clearly states was inevitable.
This would have happened anyway people.
And when she decides to have children she is afraid at first. From personal experience I can tell you it's terrifying, the idea of bringing new life into the world. It's a feeling of responsibility that never gets easier or ever really goes away. But the joy of allowing yourself to love and be loved in return is incomparable.
Not every heroine needs to get married and have babies, I will admit. But for Katniss it closes out her character arc perfectly.
She fights so hard, and loses so much, but ultimately rebuilds and faces her deepest fears. She doesn't let her loses define her. She believes her life can be good again. And then she makes it good again. One day at a time.
Which is a lesson to all of us about the endurance of the human spirit and about how female characters are allowed to find happiness and contentment in whatever form they chose. Flower dresses and chubby newborns and all.

My opinions on the MBTI types
ESFP - Very cheerful and social, cares a lot about people's opinion and fashion
ESTP - Quite social and a bit arrogant but can be kind and helpful to loved ones
ISFP - Adventurous, artistic, tends to hide their feelings and are kind
ISTP - Also adventurous, tends to care a lot about nature and seems insensitive and uncaring but really just lack the emotional intelligence to express that they care about others, Everyone either simps for them or hate them
ESFJ - Very social, enjoy helping others and very kind but can be insane and violent when they want to
ESTJ - Hardworking, not very emotional, perfectionistic and basically every teacher's favourite student
ISFJ - Enjoy helping, smart, very kind, loyal and empathetic
ISTJ - Hardworking, seems quite serious but can be funny and kind sometimes
ENFP - Cheerful, energetic, depressed, kpop stan, impulsive, kind
ENFJ - Social, wants to save everyone, helpful, the least weird intuitive in my experience
INFP - Compassionate, Sensitive and kind but can be assertive and cold if they have to
INFJ - Spiritual, way too many of them on the internet, quiet, once you hurt them, you're doomed.
ENTP - Depressed, ambivert, funny, could destroy the world if wanted to, memes.
INTP - I don't know, they stay at home too much for me to analyse them
ENTJ - Hardworking, ambitious, strategic, intellectual, seems uncaring and insensitive but really love their family, can be emotional once they've opened up, not as evil as people portray them as
INTJ - Intellectual, quiet, introvert, hides their feeling, can be emotional, very selective of their friends
(Sorry if this was offensive, this are my opinions on the mbti types in my experience and everyone is different so obviously this aren't fully accurate. Also if you're gonna say "no one asked" , You're being childish and illogical so please do not say that)

i don’t particularly care about the big hotd discourse but cersei keeps getting dragged into it and set up by proxy to an onslaught of terrible takes. there is a particular enduring take about her that really is starting to bug me. this reddit ass opinion that cersei is completely numbskulled and we should all just point and laugh and thats the only point of her arc in affc is extremely reductive. we get inside her head by a point where she is overcome by grief and paranoia and is clearly not in the most sound headspace. her incompetence at ruling and politicking can be tracked back to how she was withheld the education that her brothers had access to and was shoved aside by her misogynistic ultra-traditionalist father to play a submissive role as a chess piece due to her gender. her father’s dogma and example that she lives by is also very flawed. cersei is not stupid she is just impulsive, arrogant, traumatized, paranoid and inexperienced with being in a true position of power. again, her understanding of the world is also pretty sociopathic, also influenced largely by tywin. ntm how this is a position she also is paranoid to lose, so she is hesitant about following advice from anyone. there is nuance and an important difference here.

Percy Weasley & the Weasley's Homophobia/Transphobia
I wrote about Percy having Oldest Daughter Syndrome in this post, but that got me thinking, and I realized something - out of all the Weasley siblings, Percy is the only one that doesn't fit into gender norms.
So I started going back and rereading to double check, and I was blown away by just how many traditionally feminine traits Percy has in the books that I didn't notice the first time I read them! 😱
It has me wondering if that was subconsciously - or purposely - a major contributor of why the Weasley children disliked Percy so much (given how homophobic/transphobic the Wizarding World is in general).
The Basics/Personality Traits
Percy doesn't play Quidditch (i.e. sports).
He enjoys Divination - a subject that is seen as silly by the popular characters & only people like Lavender and Parvati (i.e. "dumb" girls) enjoy it.
He's not great at chess: "He [Harry] suspected he wouldn’t have lost so badly if Percy hadn’t tried to help him so much." According to many studies, there is a stereotype that boys are better at playing chess than girls.
Percy is more organized and clean: ""Ron hasn't put all his new things in his trunk yet," said Percy, in a long-suffering voice. "He's dumped them on my bed."" This is a common stereotype for women, while men tend to be thought of as messier.
Descriptions/Word Choice
Percy is said to be, "fussy about rule-breaking and fond of bossing everyone around." Fussy and bossy are both sexist phrases that are commonly used to describe women who aren't accommodating enough.
Book 2 said, "Percy swelled in a manner that reminded Harry forcefully of Mrs. Weasley. “Get — away — from — there —” Percy said, striding toward them and starting to bustle them along, flapping his arms." It's not a coincidence that the other Weasley brothers are never compared to their mother.
In Book 4, it stated, "“Mr. Crouch!” said Percy breathlessly, sunk into a kind of halfbow that made him look like a hunchback. “Would you like a cup of tea?”" He is portrayed as being quite submissive and eager to please in his job (traits traditionally used to describe the ideal woman, particularly in the religious sectors).
Later in Book 4, there's this conversation: "“Maybe Percy’s poisoning him,” said Ron. “Probably thinks if Crouch snuffs it he’ll be made head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation.”" Poisoning is most often done by women, whereas men tend to kill someone in more aggressive ways.
His Job
Percy worked as an assistant/secretary to Mr. Crouch and then for the Minister of Magic - both of which are considered "women's jobs." This dates back to the Industrial Revolution, when more than 1.7 million women began working in this career, and it is still predominantly held by women (who make up almost 90% of secretaries and assistants).
Even his research was feminine:
“What are you working on?” said Harry. “A report for the Department of International Magical Cooperation,” said Percy smugly. “We’re trying to standardize cauldron thickness.
Cauldrons are generally associated with women because they were also used for cooking, and in paintings, it is almost always witches (women) depicted with cauldrons.
Then, there's this:
“I don’t reckon he’d come home if Dad didn’t make him. He’s obsessed. Just don’t get him onto the subject of his boss. According to Mr. Crouch . . . as I was saying to Mr. Crouch . . . Mr. Crouch is of the opinion . . . Mr. Crouch was telling me . . . They’ll be announcing their engagement any day now.”
A secretary falling in love with their boss and becoming obsessed... hmm, where have I heard this stereotype before? 🙄
Discipline
A research study on parental discipline found that, "“When it comes to disciplining the kids, there’s been a role reversal in the modern home,” the study concluded, with moms being more consistent in discipline than dads. The researchers found that dads are no longer the strict disciplinarians that they were in the ’50s and ’60s, and are more likely to let children get away with wrong behavior and less likely to talk through discipline issues with the kids.""
We certainly see that dynamic in the Weasley household with Molly & Arthur, and we continue that trend with most of the Weasley sons - Bill & Charlie definitely aren't disciplining anyone; they're the cool, "chill" brothers who contribute to the problem by smashing tables around in the air for fun.
Percy is the only one who disciplines the younger kids - especially at school and in the role of a prefect:
“Five points from Gryffindor!” Percy said tersely, fingering his prefect badge. “And I hope it teaches you a lesson! No more detective work, or I’ll write to Mum!”
&
Fred and George were going the wrong way about cheering her up. They were taking turns covering themselves with fur or boils and jumping out at her from behind statues. They only stopped when Percy, apoplectic with rage, told them he was going to write to Mrs. Weasley and tell her Ginny was having nightmares.
Lack of Humor
“Yeah, well, Percy wouldn’t want to work for anyone with a sense of humor, would he?” said Ron, now starting on a chocolate eclair. “Percy wouldn’t recognize a joke if it danced naked in front of him wearing Dobby’s tea cozy.”
It is repeated regularly throughout the books that Percy isn't funny and can't take a joke, which correlates to the sexist idea that women aren't funny (or that men are much funnier).
Mother-Hen Tendencies
Percy has so many instances of looking out for his siblings (or noticing when something is wrong) and worrying about them (i.e. fussing over them):
Her Pepperup potion worked instantly, though it left the drinker smoking at the ears for several hours afterward. Ginny Weasley, who had been looking pale, was bullied into taking some by Percy.
&
Dear Tom, Percy keeps telling me I’m pale and I’m not myself. I think he suspects me…
& After the Second Task in Book 4:
Percy seized Ron and was dragging him back to the bank (“Gerroff, Percy, I’m all right!”)
Compare this to Fleur's reaction only a few sentences later:
Fleur had broken free of Madame Maxime and was hugging her sister.
(In fact, Percy & Fleur share a lot of characteristics, but that's a topic for a different time.)
Relationships
Percy had a girlfriend, but he still broke the gender norms by writing love letters to her all summer and keeping a photograph of her. This type of romantic personality isn't stereotypically common of most teenage boys (especially in these books), but it is common of characters like Lavender, who bought Ron a gold necklace (and Ron was appalled at the idea of wearing it).
His Brothers
To compare, the only other Weasley brother who shows any traditionally feminine traits is Bill with his long hair (and I guess his one earring, but that became very popular among guys during the 80's/90's). This is a physical characteristic as opposed to an emotional/behavioral one, and Bill doesn't get any negative reaction, because he is masculine in every other way - He had a dangerous, exciting job for many years; he has a career working with money (74% of people working in finance are men); he married a much younger, attractive woman (think about Leonardo DiCaprio not dating women over the age of 25); and he had a completely heteronormative marriage.
To Summarize
Percy has an abundance of traditionally feminine characteristics in the books, as opposed to his brothers, who definitely do not. Given how society is in the Wizarding World, it is very likely that this contributed to his strained relationship with his family. 😥

Unpopular opinions:
I don't know about you, but I'm sick of the stupid jokes about the Quack Pack being locked away in a vault of oblivion, like they're some black sheep of Disney or something. That's just stupid to me, and Quack Pack deserves better, and even if that series had some mistakes, it's definitely an ok series. Let me just say that the Ducktales reboot wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the OG Ducktales or Darkwing Duck or the Quack Pack (especially if you look at Donald's nephews). And yes, it is an unpopular opinion, but I prefer the Quack Pack version of Donald's nephews to the Ducktales reboot version. And I don't mean the Ducktales episode "Quack Pack" which I still dislike to this day, but the original Quack Pack series. Sorry!
I would also point out the displeasure with Disney's decisions that ignores the canon from the Disney comics as well as the fact that it is still not in the US itself to this day, featured series The Legend of The Three Caballeros. Okay, there are mistakes in there, but the series itself is ok (for me its great) and it's really stupid that they didn't show it so it wouldn't be like a competitor to Ducktales in 2017. That's it for now.
And these are just my opinions, if you mind, your problem. Sorry!

I didn't even say it before. My birthday is next Monday, April 15th. Yes, the same day Donald's nephews celebrate their birthday. I don't know about you, but I would love to get a present for the day and see Huey, Dewey and Louie (DuckTales 2017 version) in spacesuits as astronauts and see Donald and Della in the same. I would really like to see it as my birthday present. And also something related to Huey and Gosalyn together. They can be in human form, I accept that. Okay, maybe I'm asking too much, but if you want to do something for me for my birthday, here are some ideas. I'm talking about drawings actually, which I would like to see for my birthday, and if not, maybe fanfictions.
Sorry, but I can't shake the space autism out of me. I'm a fan of space adventures and spacesuits.
Of course, whoever wants it, I just gave my ideas. This is my blog after all.

ETF is very different from the series but i kinda enjoy it?
Like, the atmosphere of the setting is way less grim and macabre, and we even had some very aww emotional moments (because it's a film and films have a different episode structure). And well, i'm a sucker for happy endings, so it was nice to see Professor Membrane and Gaz have some touching moments with Dib. (i just wanna them to heal ok) (it's a start at least)
Basically i like to see the differences between the series and ETF as if they were the consequences of the timeskip.
Gaz very explicitly worrying about her brother's well being + Dib imposing himself on his father because both of them (Gaz and Dib) are more mature, the sky is more beautiful because idk maybe it's some invention the Professor made to help the Earth??
ETF gives me a hopeful, somehow healing and comforting atmosphere, and it feels nice
But then again, i'm a sucker for happy endings and healing
Now about the designs, i liked the colors in general, but it's my most vibrant and "happy" color style.
I really liked Dib's ghost shirt, since i study character design a lot, this says a lot about him. I just didn't like the red sneakers so in my re-imagined version i draw him with a black all star (i like to leave the goth boots for when he's older). And now he has more hair lol (i like to leave the undercut for when he's older too)
Gaz was the one with the biggest redesign, and just like Dib i liked her new shirt. But in my re-imagined version i mix her design from the series with ETF, i like to imagine her with a long-sleeved striped shirt underneath.
I don't have much to say about Professor Membrane's redesign, but i liked the small changes, he's not so skinny anymore and has more hair too
Also ETF gave me things i always wanted to happen:
- Alternative realities
- Professor Membrane being a good present father
- Touching moments between the Membrane family
- Zim discovering the mission was a lie
- Zim (almost) winning for real
- ANIME IZ!! (my 13-year-old self can rest in peace)
- The trial scenario
So yeah, i really like the movie, i had a lot of fun.
It's a great film to end the IZ franchise to me.

also tell me your opinions! i wanna hear it

Ranking pjo ships cause why not :
1.Percebeth: 9.5/10
They're so cute, and I loved watching their relationship develop through out the percy jackson series like they have the I don't like you to ig we're friends now to besties who have obvious crushes on each other to lovers like this is the only slow burn that didn't make me wanna pull out hair. I love that these two would do anything for each other and are mostly supportive of each other and the seaweed brain and wise girl nicknames that went from insults to terms of endearment and I also love that they're not afraid to call each other our on their bs like I've seen stuff where percy doesn't say shit to annabeth and like have we Been reading the same books cause in MoA and HoH percy stands up for what he believes and even before that he doesn't bend to annabeths will and wishes like in botl and literally all the time in tlt like bro stands up for himself and expresses his opinions and so does annabeth and I love that ?? It's a balanced relationship in which there are years of getting to know each other and then getting together like they are bffs before lovers
But it has some issues, tho like they're wayyyy too codependent on each other which isn't that healthy but this is my opinion and I could be wrong
2. Solangelo: 8.75/10
I love them ok they're so cute like they're all about balance , acceptance, and understanding which is something nico needs in his life he doesn't need someone who'll worship him or sugarcoat stuff for him he needs someone who will be real with him about stuff like will has always been real towards nico and he has always taken care of nico wether you like it or not. Nico has always had issues that people are creeped out by him and afraid of him and will is someone who has never been afraid of nico and has treated him normally like he jokes with him and isn't walking on eggshells around him and makes him realize that not everyone hates that he can find a home in chb and nico says this tsats and even before that you can tell how nico feels and is extremely supportive of him and reminds nico that he's safe and is extremely understanding of nico . In tsats, we see that they complete each, like nico is the warrior and will is the healer, and both roles are important like nico protects will from physical harm and will patches up nicos wounds and protects him from mental and emotional harm. It also shows that no one is perfect, like Will isn't always able to understand nico so he asks for advice and this shows that trying is the best you can do for someone you love , trying to understand them and support them . They also have alot of potential in general as we've only seen them in their honeymoon stage and their developing stage we haven't gotten the established stage and sure tsats isn't perfect in the adventurous sense but the point of this book was to show healing , moving on and making peace with stuff and it did that pretty well .
The only bad points about it is that one scene in boo which shows that will had good intentions but bad execution in expressing his pov and I want them to talk about it cause what he said wasn't nice and it was quite rude ik he didn't intend it but still it was not OK . Next, I want nico to set up boundaries for himself because Will isn't a mind reader and can not know what to not do unless he's told . I want rick to tell us more about Will as a person like we know more now, but still I want rick to flesh out as a character even further
3. Jasiper: 6.5/10
They weren't well developed, and it was kinda forced by hera even tho I know that at one point they truly loved each other but it wasn't well executed and they were bad as showing it I honestly wish that they had more time to understand themselves and then into a relationship like it would have been much better that way yk
4. Frazel : 8/10
They're cute together, they make each other happy they're comfortable around each other and they trust each other hence they're a good ship
I don't see why the age gap thing is a problem because it's just 3 years and where I'm from, that's a pretty normal age gap between lovers like my grandparents have a 10 year age gap but they're happy and love each other but ill add it since some people see it as problematic. They're underdeveloped and kinda rushed, and whole I get that they knew each other before SoN but still
5. Caleo : 4/10
It came outta nowhere dude like they were together for 2 chapters and then kiss kiss fall in love like wth 🤦‍♀️ but they have potential to be good ship ig I'm being generous with 4 because of that also the age gap thing isn't a problem because mentally and physically calypso is like 15-16 but if you see it chronologically calypso is older than apollo who is 4 thousand five hundred years old and that's 🚔🚨👈😄
6. Valgrace : 7/10
So so much potential they would have been soo cute and the most un problematic 🤧
7. Percico : 3/10
No, just no percy literally strangled nico when he was 12 even though he knew that nico didn't mean to betray him and honestly just wanted to know about his mom which percy should have understood because his mom means the world to him and it was clear that nico didn't expect hades to double cross him and percy had a right to be mad but strangling nico is too far . Bro also implied that nico doesn't belong in chb at the end of botl, and bro was silent during the negotiation of whether to save nico or to let him suffocate inside a jar which un excusable he also kept giving nico responsibilities like dealing with hades's wrath which could result in death during tlo and then the whole doors of death thing when nico was extremely weak. so yeah, no, they'd be toxic asf oh and I forgot mention percy never apologized for anything and never thanked him ( from what I remember, it's been a min since I read tlo ) also nico had a case of hero worship crush on him which would make a power imbalance in that relationship soooo
8. Jasico : 5/10
I see them as bros and so does rick and it's written in a way that people would see them as friends like it's clear that nico doesn't like jason like that and in tsats it's said that he missed the feeling of Jason's protective arms around him because he trusts jason and if he was to say something about Reynas hug it would be the same thing or even hazels hugs because that's how he sees them In a platonic/ familial way ( not saying that jason is his brother here ) and he also said something like a part of him died when jason died and that's because he cared about jason like he was his 1st actual friend and he felt him die so this is understandable he's allowed to grieve his friend and miss him . Also, jason is kinda unfortunately dead 😕 😔 so it's outta the question. And if he ended up with jason the whole I can belong thing wouldn't happen because it was will who made him realize that he can have a place in chb jason tired to tell him that but nico didn't really believe him . But hey, I understand the jasico shippers and respect the ship. I don't ship it, and I never will, but I can see why people like it because jason does care about nico and nico cares about jason .
Wait, I think it's canon that nico heard the sevens debate on whether he should be saved or not in his dreams, and if it is canon, then nico saw jason vote for him to die in a jar sooo
9. Jercy : 6/10
I don't ship it ship it but it's a fun thing to think about. It's my crack ship, but I could not see it happen in Canon at all
10. Pipebeth : 6/10
Annabeth was definitely pipers queer awakening, but same as jercy, it's my crack ship
11. Reyna with anyone is not my thing because rick said she's aro/ace, but if you ship theyna or jayna, you're cool because her sexuality isn't confirmed in the books, so you can interpret it in anyway you want
12 . Nico x any girl is ew because he's gay it's confrimed in the books and multiple times by rick himself and if you ship him with any female gtfo
13. Valdangelo : 2/10
I don't know how leo views nico now, but when we do get his pov, he always has something bad or rude to say about him and as much as I love leo it makes me wanna hit him
I'm sorry for the typos and mistakes. I still don't have my glasses, and if I'm wrong about something, please correct me

So I don't entirely understand everything that's happening with behind the scenes of qsmp. Like learning that ramons first admin was in fact fired without notice after Purgatory one. And then Dapper and pomme quitting. And then other things like the admins not being able to talk to the cc's.
plz correct me of I'm wrong with anything I'm saying btw.
But I truly believe that instead of quackity closing the server for a week and opening up again was not the right move. he obviously has a passion for this and wants qsmp continue and don't get me wrong I want qsmp to continue as well!!! Its literally my favorite thing to talk about at the moment.
Like quakity should have just closed the server and focus on actually fixing the problems. Instead of closing it for a week and then open it again. Cuz the more I learn about the mistreatment of the admins, i lose a bit of my sanity. Like learning that they purposely messed with the teams for purgatory and created a hostile environment was fucked.
I remember the fans talking about the mental health of cc's and admins and how they should be looked after. Just to hear one of the ex admins say that yes if fact the psychological impact was terrible. Like the fans clocked that first and not the higher ups?? Even though some of the higher ups are also terrible people.
The only way I have to solve this in mind is to make this the end of season 1, take a few months, 3 months the minimum. and start again. Idk I just feel like keeping the server open while this is happening is like a slap in the face, especially towards the admins.

Can you rank the hashiras and reasons why?
This ask took way longer than I thought it would, I believe I overthought the question and then it took me a while to really think over the hashira and choose. And putting it into words took longer than I expected.
@plutonianmoons I interpreted this question as who do I rank in terms of favorites and why, if you meant it in another way shoot me another ask and I’ll respond. I’m going to start with the list so that those who don’t want to know my reasons don’t have to go hunting for where their favorite hashira is.
Kyojuro Rengoku
Uzui Tengen
Mitsuri Kanroji
Muichiro
Shinobu
Sanemi
Iguro
Giyuu
Gyomei
Kyojuro Rengoku
I feel like this will come as a surprise to absolutely nobody lol. He’s my favorite character after all and probably my favorite of all time. I hopefully have been able to sprinkle my reasoning of why I love Kyojuro so much throughout my posts so I will try not to ramble too much. Though, not repeating myself is kinda impossible haha.
Kyojuro resonates with me so deeply, and even I don’t fully understand why. One reason I think is because he makes me feel….seen. His struggles and grief and pain, and how it came about, a lot of it I can relate to, it hits very close to home for me. And seeing what he goes through and how he dealt with it, its helped me to see and realize that my own experiences and feelings are valid, and its helped me process things I haven’t been able to, even with years of therapy. He isn’t just a ball of sunshine who hides his pain, that’s such a gloss over. He IS a flame, all his feelings make him burn, his anger, righteous and otherwise, his love of his family, his comrades, of his hobbies, the way he devotes his all into everything he does and how so many of his actions are driven by love and compassion and that that’s what drives him to be so duty-bound. He’s someone like many of us, has gone through grief and pain and so much and because of his situation didn’t get to have it addressed or dealt with, he just figured out how to live with it. I love how he isn’t Mr. Positive, if he is confronted by something negative, by someone’s hurt feelings he addresses it, he validates, and yet he’s not perfect in doing that either, because with some people he can’t address it even though he wants to. I love brave he is, standing up for others but also facing criticism and cynicism and hatred again and again and being so certain of his creed and who he is that he doesn’t let those things infest him, he burns them up immediately. I love how much he loves Ruka, how even though he lost her at such a young age he never resented her but kept her with him always. He thought of her, shared his memories of her, she touched every aspect of who he grew up to be and he never forgot that. I love that even though he is stubborn he isn’t unyielding where it matters. If he makes a snap judgment and realizes it he will change it, will he always? No probably not because just like everyone else that’s going to be different from situation to situation. I love how even though he was told he could never be a Hashira and that he should abandon it, that he didn’t. He worked and worked and worked and he accomplished it. I love how warm and welcoming he is to others, that even though he can sit there stiff as a board he does things that make you know he’s paying attention, the way he invites the Corp member from Mugen Train episode 1 to join him, the way he pats the seat indicating he wants Tanjiro to sit right next to him. The way he gives Senjuro his complete attention and focus when they are talking about emotionally difficult topics. I love how he is honest when he easily could lie to try to spare feelings and yet he is so careful and mindful during those times too. I love how freaking intelligent he is, and that it’s subtle. That it’s not just book intelligence but he’s just actually intelligent. The conversations he has, the way he breaks down what’s going on around him, the choices he makes when he acts. The questions he ponders and asks himself and tries to figure out the answer to. The fact that when Shinjuro told him he didn’t have what it takes to become a Hashira, the way that he thought about that question and pondered it and came to his answer---he could have just got upset and hurt and focused on those feelings, but he didn’t, he delved into it and found his answer. I love his expressions, and I know people joke that sometimes there’s not a thought going on behind his eyes but I disagree, I think he looks like that cause his brain is thinking of so much at once. I love how he has a bunch of shared traits with the other Hashira but in a way that’s uniquely him. I will cut myself off here because if I don’t I’m never gonna stop lol.
2. Uzui Tengen
One of the reasons I love Tengen is I was so surprised by him, I thought I was going to hate this man’s guts--especially after his introduction to the boys. But instead it was just character beat after character beat of why I would and do like him. You look at him and its like “oh he’s the wild one” but he actually isn’t. He had a lapse of judgment and was rushing when he kidnapped Aoi and wasn’t thinking straight but he also got talked out of taking her pretty easily. I don’t like that he slapped her butt, and I think its still a weird thing for him to do but its in there and I’m sure his wives and Shinobu got on him for that whole incident. But after that we see quickly that he’s one of the responsible ones, and like Kyojuro he really really cares about people and their safety, he sees and acknowledges the boys as boys and does his best to take care of them and watch over them while at the District. Of course, he doesn’t do it perfectly, but he does a pretty damn good job. I love that he actually verbally acknowledges to them that he made mistakes and he put them in danger and owns his poor behavior and decisions. I love that once Zenitsu gets taken he instructs Tanjiro and Inosuke to leave and gives them that important wisdom that surviving isn’t a loss and it isn’t failing. I love that he doesn’t try to shoo the boys off once they are in the fight, he adapts and lets them help him. And even though he lets them stay he consistently is making moves to protect them during the fight and trying to take as much weight off them as he can. He is aware of what the boys’ states are in the midst of the fight and tries to finish things quickly and change the battle to keep them safe. I also love his dynamic with them--he absolutely understands how teenage boys are and how they work and he lets them be boys in his presence without letting them do something terrible. Inosuke gets overwhelmed and starts trying to headbutt people and just rampage in his anxiety? No you don’t boar boy back over here with me. Zenitsu wanders off and starts getting enticed by the women? Boy don’t you even think about going in there I will carry you by the collar through the whole place. His dynamic with Zenitsu is so fun, because they bicker at each other and he teases him like a guy who is 10+ years older than their younger brother would. I love how Tengen truly loves his wives, and that he doesn’t love them all in the same way or show love in the same way to them all. He knows his wives and treats them as his individual partners. I love how calculating but also wild he is in his fighting. His fight with Gyutaro and Daki was such fun to watch.
3. Mitsuri Kanroji
I love how Mitsuri allows herself to feel all her feelings, how once she stops pretending to be who and what she isn’t, our Love Hashira wears herself completely on her sleeve. And she isn’t ashamed of it or prideful about it. In her fight against Zohakuten she starts out confidently attacking him, jumps right in there and saves Tanjiro and her character beats are so good, she’s freaked out about how big Zohakuten’s dragons are and yet immediately turns her attention to Tanjiro with a smile, confidence and warmth. She sets him down and tells him to take a break, praises him and tells him she’ll take care of it. When Zohakuten calls her a “shameless tramp” she shows such a genuine reaction of shock and upset and I can’t help but adore how honest she is in showing her feelings and being able to show multiple feelings at once. She isn’t arrogant when confronting Zohakuten that first time, but even then, she doesn’t stay dwelling on the fact that he insults her she is ready to go and move to attack once Zohakuten strikes at her. When the dragons start dodging her and moving faster she doesn’t hide her feelings of nervousness, she shows her panic but she doesn’t stop attacking or give up, she just freaking adapts and keeps going, seriously goes “can I take on this many at once?” AND THEN JUST DOES IT. She gets smacked point blank in the face with a sonic blast and instinctively defends her whole body by tensing it up. I love how her confidence isn’t iron-clad, insults, harsh words and reactions, they all hurt her and she doesn’t ignore them but tries to deal with them the best way she can, even if sometimes its the wrong way like she does when she becomes more reserved after finding out Shinobu’s reason for being a Slayer. I love that instead of being ugly or mean to the person who is ugly or mean to her, she honestly defends herself and feels her feelings without trying to hurt the other person. I love how she wants to have a husband but also wants to help people love themselves and once she becomes a slayer these two things no longer conflict for her. She loves people and trusts that one day she’ll find a good man in the Corp to marry. I love how genuine she is with her acceptance of people. She genuinely accepts Tanjiro and Nezuko and treats Nezuko like a younger sister, hugging her, singing with her, playing with her, and protecting her. The fact that she sheds tears of joy seeing not only that Nezuko is alive but also talking--there’s no doubt she loves these kids. Her love for people as individuals is so strong:  even though Genya is mean to her she wanted to talk to him, when she saves the Village leader and he makes a flirty comment she teasingly chides him. And in both instances she could have gotten really angry but didn’t. Nor does she call Genya names or anything, and she talks about him kindly when he’s brought up later. I love how Mitsuri actually is willing to do the tough things, but isn’t shy about saying how she feels about it. I love how she never actually hated the things that made her different, she always cherished them, but it just took her a little while to reach her full acceptance. I love how much she has in common with Kyojuro and that in some instances you can see it and it doesn’t have to be brought up. Mitsuri reminds me a lot of Sailor Moon’s Usagi and I kind of love that.
4. Tokito Muichiro
Muichiro is part of my little brother baby trio. Comprised of Muichiro, Genya and Senjuro. I love how well this amnesic child does deadpan humor and yet in the same breath can be so RELENTLESSLY sassy. Like I’m sure Tengen thinks he is the sass master but Muichiro would DEVESTATE HIM. His sass is sharp and clever and our little Mist Hashira knows how to time his humor beats perfectly and in the optimal way to jab his opponent. The way that he’s passive-aggressive while he has amnesia, without meaning to be is also really funny. Karate-chopping Tanjiro, holding his nose to make him wake up, like Muichiro really is going for the fastest route here.
I also love how fierce he is, like yes Muichiro was taunting Gyokko but he was not messing around in his fighting and you could see it in how he moved. Plus the way that he came at Gyokko from within the mist and then minced him into sushi? So hardcore.
I adore how he isn’t bitter about having amnesia, like, he could very easily and rightfully be angry and upset and hold those feelings but he doesn’t. Instead, he focuses on trying to remember things but also not let it stress him out if he can’t. I love how truly kind and gentle he is, even when Yuichiro was being mean to him and aggressive, Muichiro didn’t return that. He loved and cared and respected every member of his family. He admired all of them.
I love how his motives to originally become a swordsman were so pure and kind-hearted and that he wanted to help people the way their parents taught them. I love how when he regained his memories he was able to revisit those memories and realize that his brother did love him, that he was worried and scared and just a 10-year old trying to take care of his only remaining family. I admire so much that he was able and willing to think about his past and realize that the way he thought about his brother was wrong and not the truth. His relationship with Tanjiro is so adorable, like hands down Tanjiro is his favorite person and the favoritism and kindness he shows Tanjiro after he gets his memories back is so cute it’s like that aggressive best friend who is nice only to their bestie and just a terror to everyone else.
5. Shinazugawa Sanemi
There are so many wonderful, devoted big brothers in Demon Slayer and Sanemi is one of the top for me. We can tell in Genya’s flashbacks that Sanemi was completely committed to his role as provider and caretaker for their family. He loved and respected his mother and he loved his siblings and Genya trying to support him and stand with him back then meant so much to him and you can tell. Even after what happened to their siblings and mother, that devotion stayed, Sanemi just had to go about it differently.
I think the way he acts towards people is understandable although not justified, like many other characters he was completely unaware of demons before his family got slaughtered and unlike Gyomei, Giyuu and Tanjiro his family got slaughtered by his own mother and he killed her not realizing it was her until too late, and then had to deal with the realization that he killed his mother as well as having the brother he fought tooth and nail to protect curse him and things just got worse from there. Yes, Sanemi isn’t the only one who has lost comrades but he is one of the few slayers who has to wonder if a demon showing up is because of him and not the other way around. He never hated Genya for the things he said when their mom died, he was never bitter towards him. He loved him and knew his little brother well enough to know how kind hearted and sensitive Genya was and that’s why he was so harsh because he was so scared of losing Genya too and of Genya going through the traumas he had. Scared enough that he was willing to maim him if it meant getting him out of the Corp. And more than willing to let Genya hate him forever. I mean seriously, think about the mental and emotional will power you’d have to conjure up to be able to look at your younger brother who is pleading to talk to you and make the decision to try and blind him and keep insisting you’re not family. I don’t agree it was the right thing to do but the fact that he could even bring himself to attempt that geez.
Not to mention hearing Genya had eaten demon flesh probably scared him because that kind of makes Genya a demon and if he goes out of control someone would have to kill him. I think his rage is understandable, I think his anger initially at Nezuko and Tanjiro is very understandable and it’s shown on his face when he looks down after Nezuko rejects his blood. This demon rejects human flesh, why couldn’t my mom? Why did I have to kill my mom, lose all my siblings and lose my remaining brother, lose my best friend, but this kid gets to keep his sister who is a demon? Would anyone else in his shoes respond differently? I really doubt it.
I love how he’s like the unexpected wild child of the Hashira---not completely unexpected I mean look at him--but the fact that he just pulls an Inosuke and just picks fights with people left and right and he really seems to enjoy his fights but he’s also not ignorant about it. He is aware of what’s going on and he is calculating and strategizing and he’s so -adaptive- like Sanemi will try literally anything in battle if he thinks there’s even a hint it might work. The fact that he knows how to be annoying and cocky to his opponent but isn’t arrogant in his fighting (exception being his fights with Giyuu I think) is a refreshing take on this type of character. Sanemi doesn’t think he can beat everybody, he doesn’t think he’s invincible but that’s okay with him because he still wants to try it regardless. And like Muichiro he knows how to push those buttons and he has such fun doing it and honestly, I have so much fun watching him antagonize his opponents.
6. Obanai Iguro
I love Iguro’s design. I love that he could have just hated people and cursed them because that’s kind of what you’d expect from someone who’s own family treated them the way the Iguro clan did to Obanai. His family sliced open his face, tried to sacrifice him to a demon and then cursed him for surviving when it backfired on them. He had no social interaction until he was friggin 11 with anyone outside of his messed up family. I appreciate how honest he is about his reasons for being a demon slayer. He isn’t doing this to be noble or because its the right thing. He wants to try to purge his family’s tainted blood from himself by killing demons for others, knowing he can never truly purge that blood but at least its -something-. I love how even though he was hurt all for the sake of a snake demon that he doesn’t hate Kabamaru (check spelling) and he treats that precious white snake so well and that Kabamaru isn’t just a decoration but his partner. I appreciate how even though he doesn’t know how to tell Mitsuri he loves her verbally---he’s constantly showing it. Writing letters back and forth with her, sitting with her and just letting her eat as much as she wants, giving her socks that match her eyes because he knew she was uncomfortable at first with her uniform. When she starts trying to explain how she got the Demon Slayer Mark and its all gibberish and he just face palms---not even upset just like “my poor wife she’s doing her best”. The way that he gets jealous of Tanjiro being buddy buddy with Mitsuri is so funny because its so stupid and yet he has Muichiiro’s petty streak, just listing off all the Corp members “crimes” when Tanjiro is like “did these people commit some sort of crime?” I love how he changed his mind about Tanjiro and he was -such- a good battle partner with Tanjiro when it was just the two of them for a bit. The fact that he got right between Tanjiro and Muzan’s Akira-like jaws knowing that would definitely kill him, he didn’t go to pin Muzan he went directly to save Tanjiro from getting swallowed. To me it seemed so clear that in this final battle Iguro accepted Tanjiro and supported him, they worked as a team and Loner Iguro is good at it I can’t wait to see him in the new anime content.
7. Kocho Shinobu
Shinobu is also kind of a typical anime girl but I still like her. Short angry girl is a pretty common trope but she does it well. I love that she is biting and vicious with a smile on her face, kind of like what you expect from the stereotypical mean rich girl, but you can tell that’s also not Shinobu because she will -actually- mess you up in a heartbeat. I love that she’s not a “mean girl”, she loves her friends and her butterfly girls and she cares a lot about people and she’s not ashamed of being a “healer”. I love that instead of writing herself off, “I’m small and therefore can’t fight the same as everyone else” she figured out a method that worked for her, and it is probably one of the worst ways a demon can die---it’s definitely the most painful. I love how one way she showed Kanae her love for her was choosing to always smile even though she’s never actually happy. That it’s not forced positivity, and Kanae wasn’t asking that of her. But it was “My sister loved my smile, so I will continue to smile for her.” I love how she is constantly stepping in to show support to the characters. Talking to Kyojuro before he left, confronting Mitsuri about her starving herself once she found out about it, encouraging and showing happiness for Kanao starting to speak up for herself and being a sort of mother figure for Inosuke where she cared for him but was also able to discipline him in a way that no one else really could. I do feel like her best interactions are when she’s with Zenitsu, Douma and Giyuu but it could just be that I find those moments with her to be the most fun and entertaining.
8. Tokito Giyuu
Giyuu’s is kinda funny because he’s typically the type of anime character who is my favorite in a series but compared to the previous 7, yeah he’s here. I do love that he’s a tried and true introvert, like he is a devoted Hashira but at the same time gives off the Shikamaru vibe of “Gosh I’d rather be at home”. I enjoy that even though he has a bond with Tanjiro that doesn’t like cure him of his introvertness, he still gets overwhelmed by Tanjiro sometimes and is just like “no, not today” and tries to split. I love that that’s not really attempted to get fixed, that’s just how Giyuu is and that’s okay. He still has moments of joy and sass and all the other feelings but there’s no “we need to heal Giyuu” thread in the story besides the side story of everyone trying to get him smile/laugh.  I will always be saddened by the fact that he for the longest time didn’t feel like he was a Hashira and just wrote himself off but I also kind of like how the Hashira weren’t suddenly like, “That’s crazy, we love and accept you Giyuu!” But by the end I feel like he was mostly accepted, particularly by Sanemi which was nice since those two were almost like unspoken rivals it felt like. His scenes with Tanjiro and Shinobu are the best to me, because he obviously cares about Tanjiro a lot while he simultaneously just has no idea what to do with this kid unless he’s fighting alongside him. I  love his dynamic with Shinobu, its not one I usually love a lot but theirs is so much fun and Shinobu really brings out Giyuu’s sass and sarcasm which is fun to see especially with him doing it deadpan. I appreciate Giyuu’s struggle as a character because I feel like its one that a lot of us can relate to and its nice to see him accept and grow comfortable with himself as the story progresses.
9. Himejima Gyomei
I will probably get a lot of hate for this one, but oh well. Unlike the other Hashira where I do like them on some level, I don’t like Gyomei at all. If you pushed me I guess I would say his extremely impractical weapon? But like, that’s really reaching. I feel like the only reason I don’t immediately forget about him is because he’s massive and is always crying with his hands in prayer stance. He’s a monk but like in name only. Maybe its just because there wasn’t enough time but I can’t think of a single time where Gyomei showed monk behavior besides saying “Namu Amida Butsu” and Genya mentions that the mantra he used fighting the Emotion Demons was something he learned from Gyomei but nothing past that. Even his crying seems to be more of an at-random thing and not a “he’s feeling deep or spiritual emotions”. We never get an explanaton for why he cries all the time and then suddenly doesn’t cry during his fighting and gets all….macho? I guess I would call it. But yeah look at that conversation between him and Tanjiro at the boulder, if those are spiritual teachings they are not good ones…so to me he doesn’t practice what he preaches, but we also aren’t really shown what he believes spiritually.
My biggest issue with him is his attitude towards children. He was bitter and mistrustful towards children after the demon attack because the TRAUMATIZED FOUR YEAR OLD didn’t express gratitude for him saving her life. Children struggle with expressing gratitude period, especially that young, they definitely aren’t going to be thinking about expressing gratitude after going through watching you bash another adult’s skull in.
And because of this he believes that children “Are pure and innocent. Weak. They lie easily…are casually cruel…and selfish.” Children are this way unless they are taught correctly, adults are this way even if they ARE taught correctly. Children’s brains aren’t fully developed at four years old, and yeah, Gyomei doesn’t know that science but seeing as he was raising other kids there, he should understand kids better than he does. Children lie easily because at that young of an age the worst thing that can happen to you is getting in trouble, so you lie to avoid it. You have to be taught how to deal with that properly. Children are not “casually cruel”, they don’t understand that their words and actions impact other people’s emotions and feelings the way that adults do they have to be shown and taught it, just like everyone else. That’s not something that just comes from predisposition. Children are selfish? So are adults, and children don’t become selfless unless they are shown and taught it. Gyomei went through this trauma too, so I don’t blame him for his knee jerk reaction being upset at the child, but the fact that afterwards he stayed upset and decided that children are all these things, and staying upset that she didn’t show gratitude? That’s ridiculous.

Ranking Archons from Genshin impact
Nahida- my baby. The fact that people hated her and wanted other God and yet, Nahida didn't give up on people and tried everything to save her people and her nation from disaster. She's the most precious Archon in Genshin. I will protect you at all cost.
Furina- In order to save her nation she literally has to fake her personality and her being an *archon*, which caused her to suffer for 500 years. She was a human, who just wanted peace. She deserved so much better.
Venti- my beloved <3, I loved him ever since I started playing genshin impact. He will always be my most nostalgic and fave character. The only thing I don't like about him is that people only treat him like a *drunkard* and that's literally it. He's drinking as a copium after losing his friend and still use his body for years. My beloved
Zhongli - I'm gonna be honest, he's still very interesting character. But I unfortunately lost interest in him, mostly bc he doesn't do much anymore. Like yeah he cares for his nation but like. I want to see more what he does, instead he just sits and drink tea bruh. I don't hate him at all btw, just lost interest...
Raiden Shogun, Ei - OH BOY WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN!? Ok ok ok. Lemme say things straight. I love her design, I love gameplay, I love her story she's very cool and interesting character. BUT OMG THE WAY THEY WROTE HER IN STORY WAS GOD AWFUL. Instead of getting a very cool character, we got * UWUWUW BABY WAIFU WHO LIKES DRINKING DANGO MILK UWUWUWUW 💖💖💖* LET'S NOT FORGET THAT SHE WAS THE REASON THAT HER NATION SUFFERERED. She is also very VERY irresponsible. Instead of leading her nation on her own, she let her puppet rule everything and Ei was just... Sitting on her ass and done NOTHING. Her first story quest was also meaningless af. And the way she became kind and sweet only bc of Traveler's power of friendship is just hilarious. So yeah she's my least favorite archon.

What are your opinions on both Book!Rhaenyra and Show!Rhaenyra.
😬 Welp obviously unpopular opinions coming through:
Book!Rhaenyra is incredibly entitled, self-centered, and narcissistic. She literally is what happens when you are never told no and essentially every whim is indulged and handed to you on a silver tray.
I know some people have said that her depiction is borderline misogynistic in the books(Maegor with tits), but if you look at real-life monarchs(who come from empires built on colonialism and slavery), even to this day, they are not nice people so I’d say her characterization isn't exactly an unfair depiction.
Of course, people always like to point out that Rhaenyra did not start off bad(she was the realms Delight and beloved by the people). She was just stressed from losing nearly all of her kids. She snapped like any of us would do. She’s actually the true victim of the Dance.
I’ll grant her supporters the first part, but the subsequent arguments🙃 Rhaenyra started acting, um how should I say, in a questionable manner long before she started losing her children. People always leave out how she ordered Daemon to chop off Ser Vaemond’s head and feed it to her piss-colored dragon for daring to speak the truth. Unlike in the show, this happened three years before the events of the Dance when she was mentally sound.
Yes, you could make the point that it was technically done to protect her children(and herself), but then you can also argue that if she really wanted to protect her children she would not have had such obvious bastards(I’ve seen people try to argue that they aren’t bastards in the books because they’ve got Baratheon and Arryn ancestry, which is dumb as hell because they have features that don’t come from either house) in the first place.
Plus it’s not as if her children would be killed if they were acknowledged as bastards. They’d still be alive albeit out of the running for the Iron Throne. Of course that would have probably taken her out of the running as well so murder and cutting out the tongues to silence those who state the obvious to be queen someday it is😄
Honestly, I feel like she’s a dumber duller version of Cersei(and that’s saying something because while entertaining she is pretty idiotic). Rhaenyra is not very charismatic and she’s a hypocrite(bastard hater while having bastards herself) and a racist(and once again stress isn’t a “good” reason for racism so if you feel that way 🙃). I’ll keep it cute and leave it there, but in my humble opinion, there is nothing about her that is really likable.
Show! Rhaenyra is boring. She started out fine and we could see some of book! Rhaenyra's arrogance that fuels her fire and drive, but when they switched actors in episode six she became lifeless.
We see a little of that fire return during the scene where everyone is gathered in the Great Hall of Driftmark and Rhaenyra suggests for Aemond to be questioned, but it once again disappears.
Now I want to be clear, I do not blame Emma for Rhaenyra’s lack of fire. As I said, during the Great Hall scene in episode seven, the fire was present. However, production so far seems hell-bent on making her into this sympathetic heroine of sorts which is why it has disappeared.
They are setting her up to be this wronged woman who the patriarchy wore down even though that simply isn’t the whole truth. Before this show even though people felt like she was the rightful heir, no one saw her as this hero who had a heart of gold. They recognized that she wasn't a very likable person while still acknowledging how she was wronged in some way.
Now you have people who act like she never did anything wrong(some of the people behind HOTD included). That she is the unquestionable hero and a kindhearted person who was destroyed by the war when that's simply not the case. I don’t find it cute how they are trying to redeem a racist sociopath in the name of supposed “feminism”(all while tearing down and stripping every other woman character of her characterization🙃).
I will say that even though they’ve whitewashed her, she still doesn’t come off as sympathetic to me. You can see moments of her arrogance. It’s not as vicious as in the books(I.e. chopping off Ser Vaemond’s head and feeding it to Syrax), but it’s still there like during episode seven and when she was taunting Daemon right before she got choked out by him in the finale.
Going forward, I hope the show brings in more of her book personality because she’s not very entertaining to watch.

singles inferno is like the perfect example of men not actually being interested in women but in the social status among their male peers for being associated with certain women. theres a reason they all go after one or two "popular" women like seulki in season 2 or jia in season 1. it's less of a genuine interest in them and more of a boost in social standing among other men, especially the other men there. because they fit the beauty standard they are seen as more "valuable".
i genuinely think the men see them more as social currency rather than people. this is why jinyoung's disparaging comments about so-e are especially disturbing when you think about it like that. also the way that every male contestant completely ignores sejeong when she seems like a very nice, humorous person. is it because literally nobody there is interested in her? or is it because she doesn't fit the beauty standard and therefore can't be leveraged for their own gain? hmm.
