We had a national holiday called Evil Tuesday. The objective of Evil Tuesday was to survive.

HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY!!!!
Just a reminder to those who see this…Jesus loves you and he gave life for you so that you don’t have to go to eternal hell when you die! All you have to do is repent and invite him in! Heaven is a real place and I don’t want to go without any of you! Today we don’t mourn his death but instead celebrate his victory in the resurrection!

July 7: Father-Daughter Take a Walk Together Day
Before Luigi popped the question, he remembers a time when he took a walk through the castle with Wendy.
Granted, his walk was induced by his inability to navigate said castle, and Wendy had come along since it would ‘help keep my youthful figure’.
It wasn’t the first time they spent together alone, but there was a sense of importance that came with walking down the Koopa King’s halls with a future daughter (even back then, Luigi was hopeful that it would turn out that way).
“What do you plan to do?”
“Um,” He remembers fidgeting with his fingers (they were gloveless at that time). “Maybe find the kitchen? Or maybe-“
“Not that.” Wendy gives him a Look, one that doesn’t leave anything up to interpretation. “With Daddy.”
“Oh.” He also remembers feeling like his face caught on fire. “Um. I’m-”
“Will you marry him?”
And how his heart felt like it was having palpitations. “I-“
And he paused, because it was a hard thought, an idea that left him feeling cold at its possibility. “I’m not sure he wants to marry me.”
Wendy’s affronted shock nearly sent her tumbling head over tail, but she still managed to face him with an expression screaming ‘are you stupid?’.
“Excuse me, but why the fuck do you think that?!”
“Language!”
She was ignoring him, instead shouting as she shook him by the shoulders. “He doesn’t just date anybody! Do you really think he’s with you for the hell of it?!?!”
“Then why hasn’t he asked yet?” Is what slips out. It’s what he kept asking himself. Over and over and over again…
The shaking stopped, but Wendy’s expression didn’t change.
“Has it occurred to you that he’s just taking it slow?”
“Have you ever seen your father ‘take things slow’?”
“Fair. But-” She continues to walk, and Luigi ends up following her down another dim-lit hallway. “He’s waiting, for once.”
“Waiting?” He remembers confusion, mostly still stuck on the concept of a patient Bowser.
“He doesn’t want to drive you away.”
“By asking me to stay?”
“By asking you to commit.”
“… Oh.”
“Yeah, ‘oh’! Just hurry up, because it’s physically hard to watch you two tiptoe around it!”
(Before going to bed, Wendy briefly visits her office-bound father only to say “You’re made for each other.” Before going straight to bed- leaving Bowser in confusion.)
