Ok my migraine feels mostly better, I was getting a little freaked out because 3 ibuprofen wasn’t cutting it but then I realized it was a sinus thing. Yay for Nettie pots.

the house i am dog sitting at this week(end) is in a lovely nice suburb with big houses and trails and it is pretty and quiet and there are trees so many trees and a marshy area and a lake and plans and green and it is beautiful! it is beautiful. but there are so many cottonwoods and my allergies are trying to actively kill me. i never thought i would be the person who wants to live in the suburbs/outside a metro area but here i am but ALSO i could not live here bc i would be miserable approx half the year.

Oh I've caught a really nasty cold. I get sinus infections a couple times a year but it's been a while since I've caught something viral. Oh this sucks.

Always use distilled water for sinus irrigation, and make sure to clean whatever you’re using (I think netti pot is most popular?) after each use. Infections from using tap water are rare, but can be quite serious so it’s best to use water that you know for sure doesn’t have pathogens in it.
