Note
Happy holidays to everyone in the imagine-knb team!! It's a little far away from Christmas but I hope you'll feel the holiday spirit throughout the month 🥳
May I request one for Midorima under the 31 Holiday Dialogue Prompts? Number 13, “How’d you fit a reindeer in the apartment?”, I just think it'll fit him well (・∀・) Thank you very much (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*.✧
I absolutely snorted with laughter thinking about this. I agree, anon, this fits him so well, lol Admin Neon

It wasn’t every day that Midorima Shintarou felt nervous. It was a foreign emotion to him, usually reserved for moments where he was absolutely unsure of himself. Where he couldn’t predict the outcome of a situation. Where, even Oha-Asa itself, could not possibly determine the best path forward.
It was reserved for moments like this.
As he stood in front of you, blocking the doorway to your shared apartment, Midorima looked down at you to meet your gaze. You were quirking a brow at him in question, wondering why he had yet to open the door. When he still made no move to get out of the way, you pressed him for answers.
“Shintarou…” you started slowly, elongating the syllables of his name. “It’s been a really long day at work and I’d like to get inside and rest. Could you open the door now?”
For a split second, Midorima’s eyes left yours as he glanced back at the front door. You heard his keys jingle as he gripped at them. “Before I do that, there’s something I should tell you.”
This piqued your curiosity and you attempted to look around him, as if you could see through the wooden door. “What’s up?” you asked.
“Do you remember what my lucky item for the day was?”
The question caught you momentarily off guard. Thinking back to earlier that morning, it didn’t take you long to recall exactly what Midorima was talking about.
“It was a reindeer, wasn’t it? I remember you saying you were going to order a stuffed animal.” Then a thought came to mind and your jaw dropped. “Oh no, you didn’t accidentally order too many again, did you? What are we going to do with several plushies?”
“Ah, well, actually—“
You didn’t hear Midorima, lost in thought as you tried to think of solutions to the dilemma at hand. “I suppose we could give them out as presents, but that might be too tacky, giving everyone the same thing. Maybe we could hand them out as party favors, but then we would need to actually throw a party. Maybe—“
You were cut off by a deep sound coming from within your apartment; a low groan that sounded almost like a large animal. You paused, glancing first at your still-closed front door and then back up toward Midorima. He was no longer looking at you.
“Shintarou…”
“I may have made an error in my purchase.”
Without fully registering his words, you finally pushed past Midorima and unlocked the front door with your own set of keys. You swung the door open wide, stepping through the threshold quickly only to come face to face with one of the largest animals you’d ever seen. The reindeer was staring at you from its position near your couch; it’s massive size dwarfed the piece of furniture easily.
“Okay, never mind the fact you managed to buy a live animal for way cheaper than you should have been able to,” you said quietly, words coming out slow as the shock finally began to settle in your veins. You turned stiffly back toward Midorima. “How’d you fit a reindeer in the apartment?”
“Takao owed me a favor.”
You blinked up at your boyfriend, choosing to ignore his non-answer for now. The sound of ripping fabric tore your gaze away from him and you turned just in time to watch the reindeer bite a hefty chunk out of the plush of your couch.
You sighed. “Well… I guess technically it’s stuffed now.”

Title: Don't Count the Stars
Pairing: Midorima x Takao
Rate/Tags: Teen above, fluff, established relationship
Summary:
Once Oha-asa declared Scorpio was at the last place, and that the best way to achieve good luck was to go to a place that reaches the stars, Takao knew his weekend plans were done for. Midorima rang him the second the reporter finished, requesting formally that the raven haired be prepared for a hundred- foot journey up a mountain.
"But why the mountains!?" he guffawed, already walking with Midorima to the train station in their hiking apparel with their backpacks on and Midorima still itemless. "I get it, we need to get your lucky item from a souvenir store at the foot of the mountain-"
"A Hannya brimstone is more likely to be effective coming from its original store location."
"Pffft. It's not like luck dimishes with delivery. That's how you get your other items! But seriously, a planetarium is less of a hassle."
"Takao," the ace said, voice reprimanding, "To do the best--"
It was drowned out by the sound of the train that wheezed past them and the two boarded with Takao laughing at how Midorima's legs will always be too long for the accomdating seats. Midorima found nothing funny. He was restless throughout the ride, only comforted once they secured his lucky item to which Takao commented "scarier than any apparition up the mountain peak."
"This is yours." the ace proceeded to hand him a Tengu brimstone charm.
"It's not my lucky item, Shin-chan. It's something about stars, remember?"
"Of course I remember-nandayo. It's a partner of mine, they must not be separated."
"I don't think this will save me getting lost in the mountain, though." he took it gratefully.
"Why do you think you will get lost?" Midorima asked before shooting his boyfriend a devastating look. Of course Midorima knew the reason. Takao only gave his ace-sama a grin.
The trail was dry given the approaching summer. The sky was the bluest with ample clouds that shielded them from the glaring sun. Much to Midorima's chagrin, the hike proved to be challenging, not because of the leg excercise (they have Shutoku training menu that could kill the unfit), but of Takao's innate skill to be care less. Midorima knew Takao was not immune from being, well, Takao. It was like the point guard wanted nothing to do with the safe trail. Once or twice, Midorima had to chastise him from pointing at paths no feet had ever treaded upon with an obvious look of excitement on his face.
"No. Don't forget your rank for today."
"You're right, but wouldn't it be awesome to know if there were hidden lakes or waterfalls in unknown webbed corners?"
"Unlikely. It would have been spotted by aerial cameras for geographic purposes. There are no such things here."
"That's why I said hidden."
"Do not forget our goal here, Takao." Midorima said, pulling Takao by his back collar for trying to casually go off to another path. The ace had kept a careful eye on the pointguard who naturally was pleased with the attention. It was one thing to invite his ever so firm boyfriend to embrace the sense of adventure and live life a little since they rarely hike up mountains, but it was another to convince Shin-chan that with his Hawkeye, he could definitely get them back on the trail in no time.
"Don't you trust me?"
"Let's not tempt fate," Midorima said, running his long taped fingers on Takao's hair and smoothing out a leaf that had gotten stuck there. The flush that rose to the point guard's cheeks was easily covered by his already red and perspiring body after two hours of walking.
Takao behaved after that.
The summit was empty when they reached it. Takao dropped dead on the ground while Midorima proceeded on fixing their tent. Everything was alright when Takao volunteered to get the woods for a bonfire. It seemed what hikers say was true, there is a different energy for when you reach the top of the mountain.
Midorima sighed and went with him anyway.
"You really don't trust me, eh?" Takao said bitingly. Midorima only pushed his glasses back at the bridge of his nose.
"It's not a question of trust, but of ranks."
Takao hummed, then glanced at his ace-sama thoughtfully, "So the best thing is to really stay with Shin-chan after all."
Midorima agreed. His luck would have to help Takao get through it. Plus, they were indeed, near the sky.
Dusk found them outside the tent, Midorina reading a book as he leaned on a tree while Takao chatted animatedly. They did not miss the sunset, the orange orb sinking in the horizon, bringing with it the light of the day, while around it the sky swirled of colours, red and pink then purple as darkness began to reign and consumed everything. The first star appeared just as they were preparing their dinner, cool breeze enveloping their skin as they watched the stars occupy the black veil like glitters. They stayed around the bonfire a few hours after cleaning up dinner, Midorima taking out an extra clean blanket to use as cover for the ground. The best hours to stargazed was between midnight and twilight and that they did not miss. It was a party of stars in the milky way to behold.
"They're all really up there," Takao said in awe, speaking for the first time since Midorima woke him up for the promised starshow. "There's so many no one would notice if one of them dropped out and fall to the ground. I mean look, even if I count-"
"Don't." Midorima said quietly, his glasses reflecting that star light, "It's been said it's bad luck to count the stars. A legend said you'd die when you reach 100."
Takao considered chuckling, only to find his breath taken at the spectacular view.
"Who'd count those anyway,"
"You can with your sharp eyes."
"Oh yeah-"
"Don't."
"You realized you just tempted me to do so?"
"I'd rather not have my long life partner to be haunted by badluck."
"Oh, Shin-chan? Did you just propose to me? Again? " Takao snickered while Midorima only gazed back the sky. It was nothing surprising. Midorima, from the time they became a couple, had been threatening to propose every minute of the day. Takao was baffled at first, but it was just like Midorima... To do everything he can as best as he could once he set his eyes upon something. So Takao could never feel he will ever be unlucky. Not with this, not with what they have. Maybe until Shin-chan gets tired of him, something which Takao didn't have the heart to deal with. As long as Shin-chan was still happy with him.
"Hey, Shinchan-" he pointed up. Midorima quickly wrapped his taped hand around Takao's knuckle.
"Don't count. Takao, know I don't want anything close to badluck when it is about you." Takao pressed his lips at how affected Midorima was about it. He does care about their relationship to the extent of paving the way to even make fate agree.
"I'm not," Takao whispered, gulping at the warm touch that gradually slid off his skin as Shin-chan let go but the lingering feeling remained, "But I was saying... that's Cancer right?" he pointed at the pattern on the sky. The mountain was too dark, the stars were like lamps, they all could be seen like fire.
Midorima was quiet.
"Yes."
"And that's Sagittarius?" there was a pause where Midorima frowned.
"That's not your sign. That's Akashi's."
Takao chuckled. "I know that. We both know all the Generation of Miracles' star signs, we even know their Oha Asa! What I mean is... Look at that? Cancer and Sagittarius are much closer up the sky than say... Scorpio beneath Sagittarius. Even the Zodiacs declares it. It's really not close, yours and mine." then as an after thought, a whisper to himself, "I wish our signs are closer."
The stars twinkled with no care for his melancholy. The world continued to revolved and he remained a tiny speck.
"Where are you looking at, Takao. Your Cancer is right here."
He glanced beside him. Shin-chan's eyes were on him, fiery and firm. The ace reached for his hand again and held it tight, knocking out the air from Takao's lungs as they gazed at each other, long and meaningful.
The stars were there in Shin-chan's eyes.
"It's closer, isn't it?". Midorima demanded quietly. Takao blinked, then brightened a she beamed and drew closer to the warm of his ace-sama, butterflies awoken in his stomach and flapping even to his ears.
"That's right. We didn't really have to go here, Shin-chan. I have all the luck... because Shin-chan is my star."
Midorima's silent agreement could be seen in the crinkle of the corners of his eyes and his soft smile that made Takao feel like stars just exploded in his chest. He entwined their hands together and tugged Midorima closer.
"The tent looks cozy now," he whispered, glad for the darkness that masked the blush of his cheeks. Midorima raised himself on one elbow, leaned to him and captured his lips. It seared hot Takao's body, ridding of any part of his skin that remained cold under the cool twilight breeze. Midorima continued to set fire in his body, crawling on top of him, Takao clutching the front of the shootingguard's shirt as they made a mess under the milkyway with stars as their witness.
"You just dragged me here for the milkyway makeout," Takao accused once Shin-chan pulled him to his feet, his lips still burning from the passionate kiss.
"The weather did say it is the best date for stargazing."
"Well, it is the best date so far." Takao let himself get wrapped around Shin-chan's long arm as they headed to the tent. "But if Shin-chan is my lucky item, even if we really did go off the trails, with you beside me, we're bound to get lucky!"
Midorima grimaced as he prodded Takao into the tent, leaving the zippers open as the bonfire danced outside, helping Takao out of his clothes while the raven haired chased his lips to continue where they left off.
"I would not recommend it. Not after we're done here until dawn." Takao's burst of laughter was music to his ears.
"Oh, Shin-chan, you animal!"
The Hangul and Tengu charms left outside the bonfire reflected the blazing fire, grinning up manically at the night sky.

Show Me How Life Could Be
This is my extremely late gift for Jenny (@/froochette) for the @knbsecretsanta . I haven't written for this pairing or concept before and wanted to challenge myself with it. Well, the joke's on me that (once) again the fic went out of hand. This feels more platonic than romantic to me, but I'll let you guys be the judge.
Hope you like it anyway! ♥
P.S. Of course, I'd make it about basketball in one way or another, what are you talking about?
Genre: Humour
Pairing: (platonic) MidoMura
Rating: G
Word Count: 4,191
Summary: Midorima only wanted to do his job properly. Not get into a fight with their most loyal customer and have his life decisions questioned by everyone. Even if maybe, deep down, he was regretting some of them.
Humans show their true colors when faced with someone weaker than themselves.
Midorima Shintarou hadn’t considered himself weak in any regard. On the contrary, he had lived most of his life in moderate privilege: well-off parents, good grades, and boundless athletic ability. This didn’t stop him from always striving with his own two hands for the best humanly possible outcome though. Thus, above all, he fancied himself as a humble person. Acquaintances--friends, depending on who one asked--would often disagree with that statement. But Midorima wanted to believe he had never been as condescending as some of his customers.
The coffee shop he worked part-time was a small cozy place. Located next to the university’s library and lacking any big brand name attached to its identity, it exclusively attracted students who wanted a break from studying or to spend some time between classes. The relaxed pace and the versatile schedule were the biggest reasons Midorima had applied for the position--even if the pay wasn’t anything stellar. As an undergraduate medical student, he didn’t have a lot of free time but he couldn’t impose on his parents forever either. They were already paying for his tuition and half of his rent. It was only fair of him to handle the rest and his day-to-day expenses to the best of his abilities.
For the most part, work was uneventful. Except for the moments when Midorima had to wonder if it was indeed worth the trouble. From demanding customers to people skipping the line and making a fuss over nothing to his personal worst nightmare: customers that seemed to have lost their ability to read written instructions and signs. The redundancy of having to explain simple things annoyed him to no end, as well as the fact they were distracting him from his duties for these trivial issues. Instead of wallowing in despair, Midorima had settled for the next best thing: seething in rage silently. With no other outlet to alleviate this frustration, he’d often picture himself offering retribution to such customers. For example, jumping over the counter to land a solid dropkick to their chest, or throwing the tips jar to their head as they were about to leave. He could make that shot easily from behind the counter and none would be the wiser. The perks of being a former shooting guard known for his ridiculous three-pointers--distance was irrelevant.
Not all customers were irredeemable fools though. Some regulars could be considered at least tolerable, like one Murasakibara Atsushi. The only reason Midorima knew the guy’s name was because of Takao’s snooping. His old teammate/friend kept tabs for all the regulars, more so if they had been involved with high school basketball. Apparently, Murasakibara had been a formidable center in some powerhouse team. It baffled Midorima how such a player had escaped his attention during the championships he had participated in. It shouldn’t have been hard to recognize someone who loomed over the general public like some giant out of an old wive’s tale.
No one seemed to know what Murasakibara was majoring in, but it allowed him to visit the coffee shop every other day. After trying the entire dessert menu in the span of two weeks, he settled on a particular combo. It didn’t matter when he decided to appear, he’d always order the same thing. It saved Midorima a lot of time for which he was somewhat grateful; even if this person’s consumption of sugar worried him as a future medical professional, and cleaning the table after him could become quite a hassle.
Midorima valued rules and order. As painfully hard as it might be to accept, not everyone felt the same way. He was just a glorified waiter in a low-end establishment. He’d do his job, regardless if it was aggravating or not. Keeping his temper in check when faced with personal offenses included, but sometimes there was a limit for even the most patient individuals.
The first term’s midterms had just ended the previous day. Most students seized the opportunity to catch up with their friends over a cup of coffee and some sweets on the side. Suffice to say, the shop was relatively crowded for a regular Wednesday.
Midorima was on cash register duty. Passing all his classes should had left him in a good mood. His horoscope was a bit cloudy that morning though, placing Cancer in 5th place. Nothing too worrisome but he didn’t want to test his luck with handling beverages. So he pushed the responsibility to Takao--who, accustomed to his quirks, only mildly complained--and settled for taking the customer’s orders. Most of the shift went without any incident, but one thing was certain.
Oha Asa was never wrong about his fate.
Midorima didn’t notice the bell chime of the front door above the ruckus of voices. Neither the footsteps approaching heavily. It wasn’t until the lights overhead were partly obscured that he realized Murasakibara had arrived.
With a glance to ascertain the customer’s identity, Midorima began inputting his order. “Would it be the usual?” he asked.
“Actually,” Murasakibara said. “Muro-chin is going to order this time.”
Midorima’s fingers froze and looked once again, properly this time.
There was another student next to his regular customer. He was slightly shorter than Midorima; dark-haired with several locks of hair falling over his left eye. While he appeared like a polite individual, there was too much-concealed amusement in that eye for Midorima’s liking.
“My name is Himuro Tatsuya,” he said with a wave. “I’m sorry if I’m breaking your routine or something. Atsushi wasn’t really planning on coming today--”
“Because today is no good,” Murasakibara muttered under his breath.
“--I kinda dragged him along because I didn’t know where is this. You see, I’ve heard so many good things about this place, I had to see it for myself.”
Takao was wheezing in the back, the coffee machine’s whirling barely overshadowing his laughter.
Midorima ignored him. “What would you like to order then, sir?”
“Nothing extravagant. Just black coffee,” Himuro said. “I am curious about the desserts you have though. They look delicious, but it's hard to choose. Is there something you’d suggest I try?”
On most days, Midorima would stare blankly at such questions until someone came to rescue him from the embarrassment. Instead, this time, he had the fortune of having a dessert in mind. If only because he waited every week to keep a piece of it for himself.
“Today’s specialty is the red bean cheesecake,” he said. “It may sound peculiar but I assure you--”
“It’s stale,” Murasakibara interrupted him. He was examining the display, bored. “Let’s just leave. I told you there is nothing good today.”
“As I was saying.” Midorima adjusted his glasses, annoyance bubbling in his chest. “It tastes perfectly fine. It’s not too sweet so I’d recommend it if you are looking for something to enjoy along with your coffee.”
“This is worse than those in the convenience store,” he cut him off yet again.
“I assure you, sir, that all our desserts are freshly baked.”
“C’mon, Muro-chin. I can make something a lot better and you know it.”
“Why don’t you make it then?”
"Huh?" Slamming his hand on the counter, Murasakibara leaned over the register to level his gaze with Midorima. “Is that a challenge?”
Two things happened simultaneously: Midorima realized he had said that aloud and someone tried to separate them.
"I'm sure he didn't mean it," Takao said with a nervous chuckle.
His intervention only deepened Murasakibara’s glare.
Midorima remained unfazed in front of this attitude. He wasn’t one to get intimidated, even in the rare occurrence the other person was a head taller than him.
“I said what I said.” Keeping his tone even, he returned the glare with equal force. “Now, if you aren’t planning on ordering anything, I’d advise you to step aside. Other customers are waiting.”
On his side, Takao facepalmed with a groan, and he could certainly swear Himuro stifled a snicker.
They remained locked in their stare-off until Murasakibara pulled back. Turning on his heels, he stormed out without another word.
Himuro apologized for the trouble and followed him, leaving the rest of the customers to glance between them in awkward silence.
“Now what?” Takao asked.
For once, Midorima didn’t have the slightest idea.
Several days passed and Murasakibara was still absent.
Midorima went about his shifts, as usual, trying to ignore both Takao's whining and his internal monologue about the whole affair. Their manager had been furious. But no one was more disappointed than Midorima for losing his temper over something this mundane. Personal feelings aside, he should have kept his professionalism as he had always done.
Of course, he wasn’t planning on apologizing if they met each other again. While it had been inappropriate to get into a fight with a customer, Murasakibara had started it with his rude unprompted commentary. The shop had other regulars so one's disappearance wouldn’t have any impact on their earnings. It was going to be alright.
“Pretty boy alert at ten o’clock,” one of the girls announced. All three of them had gathered behind the desserts and snacks display, giggling among themselves.
Midorima seldom participated in such idle gossip. It seemed pointless and distracting. Maybe if his colleagues found something else to pass the time, they wouldn’t need to stay overtime that often.
Unlike him though, Takao seemed to enjoy the social aspect of it. So after taking a peek, he slid into Midorima’s personal space with a conspiratory air about him. “Shin-chan, you might wanna take this,” he whispered, pointing at the spot of interest.
It was one of the tables next to the shop’s glass facade. Himuro Tatsuya was sitting all alone there.
“Why don’t you go?” Midorima asked, shelving the washed cups from the sink.
“Don’t be silly,” Takao said with a laugh. “We, average guys, have our pride you know.”
That was the most absurd thing Midorima had heard in a while. Takao was by no means average-looking, considering the amount of attention he got from both men and women. But he kept this thought to himself.
“Ask someone else.”
“Don’t be like that. If you won’t do it for me, do it for Minami and the others.” He grabbed him by the shoulders. “Fighting over a guy is an ugly thing. They might break apart! Think of their friendship! Their friendship, Shin-chan!”
There was zero proof of something like that happening. Even for a reserved person like Midorima, it was plain as day those girls were joined at the hip. But whenever Takao resorted to dramatics, he could only oblige to make him stop bothering him.
He sighed. “Alright.”
Taking his notepad along, he approached the table in question. Hushed whispers followed him, making wonder with half a mind if this was some kind of ploy. His horoscope hadn’t heeded any important warnings for that day. He had been prepared with the appropriate lucky item regardless.
Himuro noticed him only when he reached him. “Hello again.”
“Hello,” Midorima replied politely, still a bit uncertain from his joyful greeting. “What can I bring you?”
“There must be a misunderstanding?” He pointed at the cup on his table “I’ve already ordered. Your colleague there brought it to me.”
From behind the counter, everyone gave Midorima a thumbs up. It dawned on him then and there. This had been a set up from the start. Forcing him to interact with Murasakibara’s friend in hopes of learning about his whereabouts.
He resisted the urge to snap his pencil in half. Even his good looks wouldn’t save Takao from his wrath when he returned to the register.
“It’s alright. I can order once more,” Himuro said, appeasingly. “I didn’t have the chance to try your famed sweets last time after all.”
Swallowing his anger, Midorima returned to his work mode. “Is there something, in particular, you’d like?”
“Some of your macarons perhaps.”
“Excellent choice. We’ve got a new batch just today. These are made from this university’s Culinary Arts Department.”
“I know. One of Atsushi’s upperclassmen is responsible for them.”
Midorima looked at him as if he had grown another head. “Pastry chef is his major?”
“I’m surprised you hadn’t figured it out already, given how often he visits this place.” Himuro’s visible eye twinkled with hidden amusement. “He eats too many sweets and snacks for his wallet to handle. This hasn’t changed since our high school days, to be honest. The only difference is that now he started making his own, so we don’t have something to bribe him with anymore,” he said with a sigh. “It’s an uphill battle to bring him to practice lately.”
“Both of you are still playing, I presume?”
“Yes, with the varsity team.” Resting his chin against his knuckles, Himuro assessed him. ”I see you’re very informed, Mr. Midorima Shintarou of Impossible Threes.”
“I’m simply acquainted with an extremely nosy person,” Midorima said. It didn’t take long for Takao to learn about the rest of Murasakibara’s teammates after meeting Himuro. “Where you aware of me from the beginning?”
“I had my suspicions since you’re quite the urban legend around here. FYI, your taped fingers gave you away,” he said with a wry smile. “As someone playing in the same position, I was surprised to learn that such a high-profile player as yourself wasn’t playing anymore.”
“Such is life. Different priorities call for different measures.”
“That is true, I suppose. Do you miss it?”
The sun reflecting on his glasses erased the current view from Midorima’s eyes. He was on the court. Everything was silent; no shoes squelching against the wooden boards; no desperate cries for victory. He was holding the rough leather ball, preparing to shoot. The motion effortless and practiced to the finest tuning possible. He always exhaled when the ball left his hands as if spelling a prayer. It went in with barely a sway of the net. It always did.
“My time is limited for the effort the sport requires,” he said.
“That’s too bad.” Himuro returned to his coffee. “I wonder if Atsushi would be more motivated if he had someone of your caliber to compete against.”
"It must be nice being so simple-minded."
"Simple-minded, huh?" He looked wistfully outside. "That's not a word I'd use to describe him."
Midorima stopped scribbling in his notepad. "Meaning?"
"Sure, to an outsider, Atsushi might appear as such. He seems to go with the flow of his surroundings because that's the easiest thing to do. It might be partly true. It's rare to see him get truly passionate about something that doesn't involve his specific interests." He stirred his coffee. "But you managed to light that fire in him, even if for a single moment. That must amount to something, don’t you think?"
This is preposterous, Midorima thought.
Not everyone had the freedom to just do whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted. Usually, another obligation or circumstance would force someone to go against their wishes and that's how their society worked. One couldn't bend the rules as they pleased. No one had such total control over their life. Midorima definitely didn't and it made him no different than the next person. That's another fact he had accepted without a second thought. There was no way a boring person like him could influence someone's life to any degree, more so a person he had barely held an entire conversation with.
Shaking his head, he focused on the task at hand. "Will that be all?"
"Yes." Himuro smiled. “That’d be all.
The Friday afternoon shift was the quietest of the week. Students preferred to visit the nearest bar or karaoke box rather than the café. It was only natural. No one wanted to follow the same routine, more so during the start of summer vacation. Midorima simply enjoyed the opportunity to avoid interacting with any customers for once.
A storm had been brewing over the horizon for most of that day. So, after a while, Midorima told Minami to return home; criminally unprepared that girl, she never carried an umbrella. Her assistance wouldn’t have been necessary anyway. The shop was empty, allowing him to do some deep cleaning of the place with everyone gone. Halfway through polishing the tables, the rain started to fall outside; a gentle pitter-pattering on the glass ceiling at first, before the heavens opened up and unleashed their fury to the ground. This downpour accompanied Midorima for the rest of his tasks--a white noise lulling him into some peaceful trance. Nothing else mattered; not his gossip-loving coworkers nagging him; not that Murasakibara hadn’t appeared for over a week.
He had finished mopping near the entrance when the double doors rattled. The sun wasn’t bound to set for a couple more hours. Yet, the scenery outside was as dark as if night had fallen. Midorima couldn’t figure out who was out there, knocking at the door with such urgency. Leaving the cleaning supplies aside, he unlocked the door.
Humidity hanged in the air, pressing against his face like a wet blanket. “Is there something I can help--”
Midorima noticed the jacket, draped over a light-colored package the person was holding in their hands. Allowing his gaze to travel upwards, he took in their bulky torso which was clad in a drenched t-shirt. Locks of hair were glued on their cheeks and forehead like jungle vines.
Despite all that, Murasakibara appeared only mildly annoyed and maybe a bit out of breath. “Took you long enough,” he drawled.
“What are you doing?” Midorima asked.
“I came as soon as it was ready.”
Annoyance spread hot in his chest. “In case you haven’t noticed, it’s raining right now!”
“That’s why I covered it with my jacket.” He had the nerve to sigh. “For someone wearing glasses, you sure are blind.”
“Excuse me?” Still processing what just happened, Midorima had lost his usual eloquence. “You...it’s been days...and the first thing that comes out of your mouth--”
“Do we have to talk about it here? It’s gonna melt if it stays outside any longer.”
You should have thought of it earlier! He cried in his mind, allowing the other inside in the process.
His sandals squelched against the tiles as Murasakibara beelined for the counter, paying no attention to the watery footprints he was living behind.
Conjuring all his remaining patience, Midorima took the dripping jacket from his hands. “I’ll get you a towel,” he said and disappeared into the backroom.
When he re-emerged, the other had made himself comfortable on a stool. Miffed by his nonchalant attitude, Midorima threw the towel on Murasakibara’s head and took a seat as well. The package was left on the counter between them. Similar to the ones their sweets tended to arrive in, the unassuming beige carton box was definitely from the Culinary Arts department.
Murasakibara peeked from under the towel. “Are you mad?”
“No.”
“You look mad.”
“I simply want to know what your issue is, coming here in such a manner.” He pointed at the box. “What is this thing too.”
“Open it.” Shrugging, he proceeded to dry his hair. “It’s for you, anyway.”
Midorima quirked an eyebrow, more baffled by this development. Since he didn’t receive any further clarification, he warily opened the box. It was a cheesecake; specifically, a red bean cheesecake like the one their dispute had been about. Perhaps it was the sentiment getting to him, but he was oddly touched.
“You made this?” He asked softly.
Murasakibara hummed in agreement.
“I can't possibly eat the whole thing alone.”
"You can share it or sell it. I don't really care as long as you have the first bite."
"We aren't allowed to put unregistered or unordered sweets for sale,” Midorima said absentmindedly. “Since you went through the trouble anyway, I suppose it’s only fair I give it a chance. I can leave the rest for the others to try. Do you want a piece too?" Seeing him hesitating, he stood up and put the machines to work. “I’ll make you something warm to drink. Summer colds are horrible to catch, especially this time of the year.”
“Yeah, sure.”
It didn’t take long for the hot chocolate to get ready. Meanwhile, Midorima found something else for Murasakibara to change into and leave his shirt to dry. As a future doctor, it’d be criminal to let someone get sick in his presence. He also dealt with the dessert, cutting two slices for them and putting the rest of it aside in the freezer. All the while, Murasakibara followed him with his gaze as he moved about like a busy bee. Midorima would prefer to renounce his lucky item of the day than admit he had missed the comfortable silence between them. In a world where everyone seemed eager to involve him in things, this moment was an oasis of tranquility.
“Alright,” he said placing the cup in front of Murasakibara.
“You won’t drink anything?”
Midorima returned to his seat. “I’m not one for sweets.”
“I thought you might have one of your canned red bean soups along with this.” He blew at his cup with an indifferent expression. But his eyes seemed to search for a reaction. “Why red and not green beans, by the way? Considering your hair.”
“I don’t mix those two.” Cutting his fork into the slice, he brought a decent-sized portion to his lips. “It’s unsightly.”
Whatever he might have wanted to add, drifted from his mind after taking that bite. It was leagues better than anything Midorima had eaten so far. Compared to this, his regular Wednesday slice might as well be from the lowest shelf of the bottom-ranked convenience store’s fridge.
“You liked it,” Murasakibara said.
It wasn’t a question, and for once Midorima didn’t feel like arguing.
“I accept my defeat,” he said with grave seriousness. “Why did you have to go through such lengths, though?”
“To prove you wrong.”
On second thought, pettiness was an acceptable reason. “I work here. There was no need to get personal.”
“Yeah, but you did.” Draping the towel around his neck, he tied his hair into a low ponytail again. “It was the first time Mido-chin reacted so strongly about anything.”
“I don’t believe we’ve been properly introduced to make nicknames for me.”
“I read your tag,” he said as if it was obvious.
“You’d be surprised how many people can’t do so. But that’s beside the point,” he said with a wave. “Emotions aren’t needed to do my job. In fact, this whole situation brought me a lot of trouble.”
“But you don’t look so dead inside anymore.”
Taken aback, Midorima was speechless.
“It’s true,” Murasakibara continued. “I know you don’t have to talk a lot and I didn’t mind. It made things easier for me too. I didn’t have to think about what to say back like with the others. But with nothing else to do, I watched you from my table. The only time I ever saw you enjoying yourself were in your breaks, sipping canned red bean soup in the corner, or whenever the others tried to pull you into their shenanigans.”
“I certainly don’t appreciate them making a fool of themselves in front of the customers.”
“You’re lying.” He leaned closer. “And when it’s not those moments, you’re like a beast. Pacing in the cage you made for yourself. Like you’re waiting for something. Why are you still tapping your finger if aren’t playing basket anymore?”
Clenching his fist, Midorima didn’t back down. “Let’s say you are right, and that’s purely hypothetical. What’s in for you?”
“Passionate but talentless players annoy me. But talented players choosing to give up annoys me even more.” Murasakibara sat down, his expression turning solemn. “They remind me of something I’d rather forget.”
This statement echoed personal and all too familiar. Midorima wasn’t someone that poked into other people’s business, not actively at least. Still, he could understand the sentiment. Sometimes, in the dead of night, he’d ponder over his current course in life and get mad at himself; for not pushing through harder; for leaving something he loved aside without much thought. Maybe this was finally the chance he’d been waiting to come.
“Say,” he said; his throat dry and his words timid, “if I challenged you into a match, would you accept?”
“You’re deaf as much as you’re blind.” The jab had not actual heat behind it though. “Yes, without a doubt.”
“With that settled, I hope you won’t hold back. Otherwise, I’ll obliterate you.” His ever-bored eyes widening, just a smudge, got Midorima a bit self-conscious. “Is something the matter?” he added.
“You surprised me,” Murasakibara said, rubbing his neck. “That’s the first time I’ve seen you smile, I think.”
“I simply enjoy a decent challenge.” He took another bite off his slice of the cheesecake. “Don't you?”
The other considered it for a moment. "Only when I know I'll win."
It roused another round of pointless bickering. But, truth be told, Midorima hadn’t felt more alive in while.

What do you mean I’m not a Gemini?! - AoKise
Honestly, this is a dumb drabble that reads liek a crack fic. My friend told me about the existance of Ophiuchus and I wa sbaffled and thus this was born, enjoy.
“Aominecchi!” Kise wailed, throwing open the others door without knocking. Aomine just grunted, eyes glancing away from his magazine for a second before focusing back on the picture in front of him.
Kise’s weight jostled the bed as he threw himself down, huffing loudly before throwing his head back.
“Honestly it’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t even care so much about my damn star sign if it wasn’t for Midorimacchi and his damn Oha Asa reports.” Kise whined, laying down beside Aomine and gently plucking the magazine from his fingers, pout on his face.
“What do you mean there’s another starsign?!” Kise questioned, immediately crowding Midorima’s phone, as if the text he was sending to Takao had all the answers.
“First, back off. Second, yes there is a thirteenth sign, Ophiuchus, which means that some of the signs have been shifted. I need to look into it more however.” He spoke bluntly, flicking Kise off of him like a bug.
“Wait, does that mean I’m not a Gemini, Midorimacchi?!” Kise wailed, eyes wide. Midorima just sighed, pushing his glasses back up, only offering a nod before walking away.
“Oi! I was reading that Kise.” He groaned, rolling his eyes as he stretched out an arm anyway, face softening at the way Kise curled up beside him. “Thought you were over that whole thing.”
“So did I! But then one of my fans sent me a letter saying something about how Gemini’s are always so adaptable and I looked up Taurus afterwards and it said I’m stubborn! And I know I am but like, now I’m super confused.” Kise pouted, tugging mindlessly at Aomine’s shirt as he spoke. Aomine could only scoff.
“Jeez don’t tell me you’re gonna start putting all your trust in Oha Asa now as well. Look, you’re you, that’s it. Star signs are bullshit anyway. I’m meant to be annoyingly organised and clean but just look around, that definitely isn’t the case here.” Aomine shrugged, gently flicking Kise’s forehead as the other frowned, sweeping his hand in a gesture around his room with clothes and books covering the floor, a carefully yet precariously stacked tower of takeout containers in the corner.
“Yeah but atleast yours didn’t change, you’re still stubborn and emotionless, some parts of it are definitely true but, man, I don’t wanna be a bull Aominecchi.” That got a laugh out of Aomine who sat up, bringing Kise with him as he reached for his phone.
Kise got caught up on the stupidest of shit sometimes, Aomine wasn’t sure if he was putting it on half the time. It was as endearing as it was annoying and Aomine wondered sometimes how he never felt the need to punch the other.
He quickly pulled up a page with some bullshit explanation about textbook Taurus traits.
“See, here it says you’re fussy about your appearance, unstoppable once you’ve got a plan and analytical, which admittedly I’ve met people who are way better at that than you but it’s still pretty true. It even says here you’re an insatiable flirt with a love for shopping, couldn’t think of anything more true when it comes to you.” Aomine spoke, grinning at the sour pout  sitting on Kise’s face as he pulled out his own phone, ready to make a counterpoint.
“Okay but. Gemini’s are nosey, adaptable and immature! Immature Aominecchi come on, which one sounds more like me? They’re fast, sociable and love to travel, that pretty much ticks all the boxes for me.” Kise spoke, eyebrow lifted in challenger and Aomine could only laugh at the fact they were discussing this, turning it into a contest. Of course they were.
“Yeah sure but aren’t you like, only just on the border between the two? Can’t you just have mixed traits of both and call it done?” He asked as he started typing again on his phone, watching Kise out the corner of his eye who was squinting at him, a sign he was starting to see where the other was coming from.
“Besides, surely being a Taurus is way better, our compatibility sky rockets compared to Gemini.” Aomine spoke, handing Kise his phone who took it with a frown.
Kise read for a while, picking up his own phone to compare the two before he burst out laughing.
“Aominecchi you can’t be serious?” He cried, smacking Aomine’s arm when all the other did was smirk.
“Look at that, sexual compatibility goes from 5% to 85%, that sounds pretty accurate right?” Expertly dodging the shirt aimed for his head, Aomine tackled Kise to the bed, grinning down at him the whole time.
“Just forget about your stupid starsign, it’s not like I care whether you’re a bull or a set of twins, not that both aren’t fucking creepy when you think about it.” Aomine frowned, rolling his eyes when Kise lifted his head to kiss him softly.
“I mean, if we’re gonna start taking it that literally then I’m glad you’re not actually an eternal virgin, or a woman for that matter.” Kise joked, giggling loudly when Aomine just pushed his head down, entire hand covering his face. Kise managed to struggle out of the others grip, arms wrapping around his neck to bring him down to kiss him properly.
“Still though, I guess I can deal with being both.” He murmured against the others lips, causing Aomine to pinch his side before pulling away. They watched each other for a while before Aomine eventually shook his head, expression fond and open.
“You really are an idiot sometimes, Kise.” He murmured and even though Kise mocked offense, calling out something about him being mean, the blonde knew it was meant affectionately.
“How about we test that compatibility jump, hm?”

KNB Midorima x Shy! Reader Soulmate au
3rd pov
Midorima was running through the rain. Takao had held him up way too long after school. And now he was late for the bus. Just a few more steps and he would reach his stop. After school it had suddenly started to pour buckets.
'And oha Asa said cancer was supposed to have the great luck today,' the boy thought. When Midorima reached the bus stop, he sighed relieved and went under the protecting roof.
Finally the bus arrived and he quickly got in, only to realize it was packed with people. So he was left standing. He looked around bored.
And then he saw her.
A tiny girl with (h/c) hair standing in a corner of the bus not far away from him. She was shivering from how wet her school uniform's blouse was. At every curve the bus took, she got pushed around by the mass of people, and she didn't seem to feel comfortable at all, with all the others touching her.
Everytime someone brushed against her, she would quietly apologize and press herself further into the corner.
Midorima didn't know why, but at that moment he suddenly felt the urge to protect her, and his body simply moved into her direction on its own. He pushed through the crowd and stood in front of her, shirming her from the people. He took off his jacket and placed it around her shoulders. She looked up at him in confusion. When she did, he could see her beautiful (e/c) eyes and lost himself in them.
"You looked cold. May I help you? My name is Midorima Shintaro, nanodayo," he then said. She just looked at him with big eyes.
"(y/n)," the girl quietly told Midorima, still staring into his.
Then the bus rounded a corner and the teenager would have slammed into her if he hadn't caught himself with his arms on either side of her head. Their faces were so close. He caught her smell and inhaled it unconsciously. Both of their faces flushed red and he quickly pulled away.
"S..Sorry, I apologize," he stammered.
"It's okay, thank you for helping me out Midorima-kun," she calmed him. Then she smiled and everything around him stopped. The only thing Midorima saw in that moment was the movement of her lips curving upwards, closing her eyes.
How much he wanted to kiss her right now...
But then the doors opened and she looked at him with an apologizing face:" Sorry, but I really have to get out now ", she told him.
He watched her leave the bus, already missing her touch.
When the doors closed he watched the landscape outside the window fly by and thought about going back. She would probably be far away by now but he couldn't help but like the idea.
When the doors opened again he burst outside and began running. He didn't care about the rain. All he felt was the floor flying underneath his feet and the sound of his breathing. In that moment he was grateful for his years of training. Even though the bus stops weren't that far from each other it still got quite heavy with all of his stuff.
He finally saw the busstop and felt quite the disappointment, when you weren't there. He should have known that this was a stupid idea. Wasn't he smarter than this? Of course you wouldn't stay here in the rain.
He pushed his glasses up his nose and  was about to walk away to make his way home when he suddenly heard a small whimper.
He looked around and saw a dark alleyway. Inside of it was (y/n), surrounded by some guys that seemed quite drunk. One of them was standing behind her holding her small arms while she was just looking down on the floor, squeezing her eyes shut. Midorima angrily started to make his way over and heard them talking. "Hey Girl, just give us some money. You must pay us for looking like that. Or perhaps you could also pay us with that delicate body of yours, hmmm?", one of them asked smirking disgustingly at the already totally scared girl. He then grabbed her chin and tilted it upwards to kiss her.
He never got the chance to, because at that moment a leg collided with his side and he was thrown back a few meters. The other guys were just looking at their boss dumbly and then at the attacker. Midorima stood there calmly waiting for any of them to try and hit him, but instead they had scared looks on their faces. "Let her go!", he said dangerously slow. Around him was a deadly aura and the guys quickly shoved you in his direction and ran away, taking their leader with them in the process.
Midorimas pov
I prevented (y/n) from falling, after she was shoved and pulled her into me. Immediately her arms went around my waist and she started sobbing into my chest. I hugged her back and held her in my arms, pressing her body against mine.
A few minutes later she pulled away. A soft "thank you", left her lips. She started gathering her stuff, lying on the wet floor. I helped her quickly.
Both of us went to grab a textbook and our hands brushed against each other. Her face flushed a little but we didn't say anything. When we finished, she slung her bag over her shoulder and I noticed some red marks on her wrists. It was where the one guy had held her. I took her hands in mine to examine them and she hissed, when I touched the red skin. I furrowed my brows. "How about you come to my place to warm up for a bit and to get something for my wrists? My house is right around the corner", she asked and I gladly took the offer.
Her house was quite small but very comfortable at the same time. Her parents weren't at home so she made us some tea.
I wrapped her wrists with some bandages. Then I got closer to her. "You know... Before in the bus I didn't do something and now I regret that. May I do it now?" I asked and stared at her intensely. She lifted her head and again we were staring into each other's eyes. "What did you want to do, midorima-san?", she questioned not breaking eye contact. "This", I said and closed the distance between us till our lips met. "Also please call me shintarou from now on"
So again Oha Asa was right, cancer really had the great luck today.
So yeah. This just came to my mind. I hope you like it. 😉

KnB Stageplay Ultimate Blaze Report (5/5, 5/11, 5/19 Livestream)
Okay I know I said I’d do my report after my second viewing on the 11th but then the finale was on the 19th so I thought I’d wait til then so it’d be easier to remember everything. A 3.5 hour play is super long....
So I watched the play live on the 5th and 11th, and the finale on livestream on the 19th. This is the very last Kurosute ever...Thank you Kurosute for 4 years of wonderful casting and performances. I also want to thank Ono Kensho for once again doing an outstanding job of his role as Kuroko.
FYI, for those who also watched the livestream or plan to purchase the delayed stream, sharing pictures/screenshots or clips in public is prohibited. As such, I will not have any pictures included in this report. Please support the franchise by purchasing the DVD or Blu-Ray.
Major spoilers ahead. Proceed if you only wish to be spoiled. Again, this was a 3.5 hour play so this is VERY, VERY, long.
EDIT: This took me two days to type out ORZ
Tumblr media
Before the play starts, Tsuchida’s actor has a voice over on the intercom about stageplay rules and manners. Turn off/mute your phone, no recording, etc. It’s nice that they had him still do his rules even though he wasn’t in the play. ;w;
The play opens up with the Yosen and Seirin scoreboard and Haizaki walking in the audience
Haizaki goes up to a random girl in the audience and flirts with her asking for her phone number.
On the show on the 5th the girl just tried to ignore him lmao
Kagami walks on stage and sees him and calls him out. Haizaki then confronts him saying he beat Mukkun and taunts him until a ball is thrown from the side at him. Kise comes on stage and the whole Haizaki and Kise bickering proceeds.
Haizaki gets REALLY close to Kise like literally breathing down the neck kind of close. How Mario didn’t flinch is beyond me.
Kagami learns that Kise has never beaten Haizaki, and eventually Haizaki leaves. Kise tells Kagami to leave Haizaki up to him.
Kise leaves and Kuroko comes on, using misdirection on Kagami. Kagami asks Kuroko who Haizaki is and that he’s met him. Kuroko explains he’s a former teammate but that he was still a regular so regardless he’s a strong player. Hyuuga and Seirin come telling them off and says they’re going to watch the first quarterfinal match of Kaijou vs Fukuda Sougo.
The opening song for this play’s dance is “Memories.” Personally this is my favorite one so far. I think I have the team order for this correctly...
Opens up with Seirin then switches to Kaijou proceeded by Shuutoku. Then there’s a Kaijou Shuutoku and Haizaki segment.
I just want to say how good Haizaki’s actor is and how his moves were so appropriate as Haizaki....wow
Seirin comes back on for a bit then exits with Aomine and Momoi taking over.
Oh, for the 5th I had Airi (new Momoi) and 11th and 19th were Arisa (original Momoi)
Mukkun does his own dancing segment between Aomine and Momoi
for the 19th finale he danced with a lollipop in his mouth. Isnt’ that dangerous? Lol
Akashi comes out with his jacket on his shoulders to the front of the stage, Then quickly takes it off and runs back. Rakuzan then dances in the front (without Akashi) and Seirin joins back on.
For the instrumental intermission, Kuroko goes to the center and each of the GoM come out and then surround him and do a short dance ending with a dance motion of their signature move/pose.
GoM exit and Kuroko watches Akashi run off  (who went directly back) with a pained face, and Ogiwara runs out all smiley (seriously protect this boy he’s so pure) . Ogiwara runs off to the side and Kuroko chases after him. As Kuroko still looks pained, Kagami comes out on the other side and the two walk towards the center and meet in a fist bump.
The last chorus everyone (except Ogiwara) comes out. (Yes, including Mayuzumi). The song ends with each team forming a group pose (Except Rakuzan, Mayuzumi runs off before they form a pose)
All the other teams run off leaving Seirin left, and the senpais then exit leaving only Kuroko and Kagami to do one last running motion as the display title falls on the back. The two of them fist bump again as the title falls.
The play resumes with the match against Kaijou and Fukuda already starting. There are two other members on Fukuda besides Haizaki (apparently they are Ogiwara and Mayuzumi’s actors in black wigs hahahaha)
As always, the match more or less follows the manga/anime so I’ll leave out most of the story details. Most of it is gameplay anyway.
In this play, they’ve really incorporated more ball handling, aka using the real ball.
Seirin is watching in the back. At some point Aomine and Momoi join in to watch. (I can’t remember if Mukkun joins in to watch here or later...I’m almost certain he joins later)
After the match with Kaijou’s victory, Kise limps off with his injured leg. Then Haizaki walks back on stage, looking for Kise. Aomine sees him and tells him Kise hasn’t come out yet from the stadium. The two have their argument and Haizaki tries to punch Aomine but Aomine beats him too it. Aomine always says some sort of variation of “Oops..I did it....Eh, he’ll be fine”
Scene changes to Kagami calling someone, which is revealed to be Kuroko, saying his shoes broke. Kuroko replies how his feet are unnecessarily big (Kagami: OI!!). Kuroko says he’ll have to call ‘that person.’
‘That person’ is revealed to be Momoi as she runs up and gives Kuroko a tight hug. She tells Kagami that Aomine will give him one of his many shoes and that Kagami’s the type that wears by model rather than care for color.
As Aomine and Kagami are playing basketball in the back (Aomine lecturing him) , Momoi tells Kuroko about Aomine punching Haizaki.
Aomine finishes the quick game and convinces Kagami to accept the shoes.
The scene ends with Kagami and Aomine stupidly arguing and Momoi and Kuroko are literally dragging them off the stage.
For the May 5th show, they just literally drag them off
For the  May 11th and 19th, Kuroko jabs Kagami in the stomach and pushes him off as Momoi pulls Aomine off.
Midorima walks on stage prepared for the semifinals.
His lucky item is a giant shogi piece
The rest of Shuutoku join him and the senpai question why the shogi piece is so big. Miyaji asks Midorima what rank is Cancer that day and he says 2nd and he gets mad. Takao says Midorima is never wrong with Oha Asa but Miyaji asks  for a pineapple from Kimura (off stage) anyway.
Shuutoku is introduced as the first team of the semifinals with Rakuzan following (except Mayuzumi).
Seirin is in the back again and Hyuuga explains how the other Uncrowned Kings are in Rakuzan with Akashi.
The Shuutoku supporters are ‘jacket mob’ actors which are Haizaki and Kaijou
Haizaki’s actor kept dancing around with Mario.....
Ogiwara’s actor is the referee for this match.
Again , more gameplay here. For the actual story read the manga or watch the anime.
For the May 11th show, there were a lot of ball handling errors here.
Otsubo was supposed to pass a ball to Midorima but Nebuya accidentally caught it instead, so he quickly passed it back to Otsubo who passed it to Midorima again.
Midorima ‘shot’ the ball but the ball bounced against a railing and into the audience. It was during the part where he and Takao do the miracle shot. In the script, the senpais pat and hug Midorima and Takao for pulling off the play anyway but for this show they gave Midorima extra hugs and paps for the mistake. How sweet.
One of Reo’s shots also bounced against a railing but it was towards the back so the ball just rolled behind the front fence
Akashi uses a real ball for his Ankle Break. He dribbles the ball around his legs and finishes with the ball going between his legs and catches it. I’ve never seen him mess up nor seen any reports of him doing so.
Mukkun joins Aomine and Momoi in watching the match.
During Hayama’s speed dribble, everyone who is watching ‘shakes’ to the vibration. I don’t know whose idea it was but Mukkun excessively shakes to the point he looks like he’s being electrocuted or something haha. Oh yeah, he’s eating Pocky in this match, real Pocky.
Mayuzumi was out most of the match but occasionally you see him run past between the main fence as he ‘passes’ the ball to Akashi.
When Shuutoku loses, Takao and Midorima are crying real tears. For the finale, everyone was crying...
The scene immediately changes to playing Punky Funky Love and Kaijo senpais practicing. Talk about a mood change. I was still crying over Midorima crying....
It’s a flashback of when Kise joins Kaijou and Kasamatsu explaining how the senpai have worked longer than him.
Just as Kise leaves, Kuroko and Kagami join the stage and they make eye contact with each other.
Of course as usual, before a break there is the Kagami vs Kuroko janken game. Usually involving Kuroko asking for a longer break and him mostly losing. For this break, it was 10 minutes.
May 5th janken- Kuroko tells Kagami that ten minutes is fine, much to Kagami’s surprise. Instead, Kuroko wagers that if he wins, Kagami must treat him to this fancy eel later. Kuroko wins and Onoken posts on Twitter that Yuya did indeed buy him the eel lmao
May 11th janken-Kuroko again tells Kagami that a ten minute break is fine. This time if he wins, he’ll switch to speaking ‘tameguchi’ which is using the casual form of Japanese (like basically everyone else, aka not using ‘desu/masu’). He actually switches to ‘tameguchi’ as he’s talking to Kagami, and Kagami’s trying his best not to laugh. At some point he says it’s annoying haha. Kagami wins so Kuroko’s like ‘well I guess I’m not speaking in ‘tameguchi’
May 19th- it’s their last time to do janken so Kuroko suggests that this time they just play janken for the heck of it. Kagami’s surprised but goes with it. Kuroko wins to his delight, but Kagami being stubborn begs for one more chance. Kuroko allows it, and they have one more match. Kagami wins and Kuroko kneels in defeat.
Other adlibs I’ve heard were Kuroko asking Kagami to buy him boba tea, and the usual longer breaks like 3 hours.
The second chapter opens with one of the ‘jacket mob people’ making sure the audience’s phones are off. The rest of the jacket mobs come out holding various items, such as a camera, cheering horns, towels, and one member has a corndog.......
These are the Shuutoku+Haizaki and Rakuzan actors.
Akashi was the smallest one with the camera on the Rakuzan side. Also he just had Yohchans body structure anyway I mean-no
The corndog guy was on the Shuutoku+Haizaki side, I’m not sure which it was since it was harder to tell who was who (except Takao)
Seirin and Kaijou are introduced and the second semifinal match begins
May 11-Another mistake in this match. Kise jumps to knock a ball out of someone’s hand from Seirin, but the ball hits a railing and bounces back onto the court so Hayakawa quickly picks it up and throws it off stage
May 11- Kise shoots the ball but either doesn’t put enough power into it or shoots in the wrong curtain so the ball ended up going to Kiyoshi who was just coming out from the side.
The jacket mob members act as the ‘fans’ in the stands. Both support Kaijou at first then Rakuzan cheers for Seirin and Shuutoku+Haizaki for Kise.
For Kagami’s line “This is our drama!” Hyuuga and Kuroko had the most outstanding ‘wtf’ faces
When Kagami said it, he puts his hand and fists together. So Izuki repeats him and continuously punches his hand like a bodybuilder.
Hyuuga taunts Kiyoshi with the “Iron Heart” nickname. For the finale he gets everyone in the audience to chant “Iron Heart” with him and Kiyoshi gets mad, “EVEN IF ITS YOU OR THE AUDIENCE I’LL GET MAD AT YOU GUYS!”
When Kaijou loses, Kise cries real tears, every time when he says he wanted to win with everyone.
For the finale, the other members of Kaijou are seen crying too when they lose...
After Kaijou walks off stage with Kise crying, Seirin comment how they made it to the finals and look at the scoreboard which has now changed to Seirin vs Rakuzan.
Kagami walks on stage noticing his necklace is missing. He starts to look for it and Midorima walks on with his giant shogi piece with the necklace. After he gives it back to Kagami, Kuroko walks on with Takao following.
As Kuroko and Takao are talking, Kagami and Midorima are talking (whispering) to each other. Usually it’s about Kagami pointing out Midorima’s shogi piece and for the May 5th show he even tried to take it much to Midorima’s displeasure.
Midorima tells Takao they’re leaving before telling Kagami there’s two Akashi and tells him to ask Kuroko about it.
Here some really dark music plays and I wish they had a soundtrack for this play.....because wow I got chills
Kuroko tells Kagami that he’ll explain what Midorima meant by the ‘two Akashi’s’ by telling everyone about ‘our past’
At this moment, the instrumental for the Teiko ending song, Ambivalence, plays and Ogiwara runs out (Kagami exits and Kuroko moves so he’s behind Ogiwara who’s facing us). Ogiwara then says “Are you alone? I’m Ogiwara Shigehiro! Let’s play basketball together!” and the stage fades into darkness. This marks the end of chapter 2 and a 15 minute break before the last chapter of the play. During the break the instrumental for Ambivalence is still playing so we’re all just preparing ourselves for the feels.
*Note: The Teiko arc is briefly covered in the play, but the actual arc itself is  covered in the Teiko Reading screening which was available to stream online and in select theaters before the play, including scenes with Nijimura and Coach Sanada. The Teiko Reading only goes up to right before the match between Teiko and Meiko. The play covers highlights of the Teiko arc and the Teiko vs Meiko match.  For those who were unable to watch the Teiko Reading, it’ll be included in the Ultimate Blaze DVD/Blu-Ray.
The third chapter opens up with Ogiwara and Kuroko playing basketball together and Ogiwara confessing that he’ll be moving. The two promise to play against each other in junior high school.
Kuroko explains how by second year, he had moved up to the regulars and he and Ogiwara keep in contact with each other.
Each of the GoM come out in their Teiko practice shirts (and colorful shorts....)
Mukkun had red shorts and Kise had neon green.......
For every other GoM member, they had a dramatic DON! when they appeared. For Kise, he had a super *SPARKLE” effect as he did a double peace sign and smiled.  Kuroko comes out last and his is his ‘misdirection’ sound effect that is often used in the play for him.
Oh yeah, Momoi is here too as she watches over them/Aomine.
The Teiko members do some practicing.
Akashi (who is receiving the passes from someone off stage) passes the ball to the rest of the members on stage.
The scene shows how Kuroko and Aomine work well together.
The scene changes and Kuroko narrates how Aomine has started missing practice. They discuss that maybe he had a valid reason and then the stage darkens to just Kuroko who confirms that the reason for Aomine’s absence was that he was ditching. He calls Ogiwara for advice, who said that Aomine is different from Haizaki in which he actually enjoys basketball and the problem is because he likes basketball. He tells Kuroko that since Aomine helped him, Kuroko needs to be there for Aomine.
Aomine comes on in his Teiko jersey, having regained his happiness with Momoi watching. However the other players give up and he in turn gives up playing his hardest. (there’s no players on the stage but  you have the image based on the sound effects). Kuroko walks on smiling for a fistbump but Aomine walks away saying his “The only one who can beat me is me’ line.
Kuroko gets a call from Ogiwara later saying that he lost in the first round, and that their promise will have to wait til next year.
For the finale, Ogiwara was almost crying, or he was crying....save this boy please.
Kuroko and Momoi talk about Aomine, making no progress. And Momoi asks him if they’ll always be together, in which Kuroko is hesitant to answer.
Slowly, the other GOM members (minus Akashi) slowly realize their abilities.
Mukkun with his ability to block, Midorima with his ability to shoot.
Kuroko then finds Aomine by the river, and the whole “I don’t remember how to receive your passes” scene plays out.
Aomine’s face looks so pained here /cries.
Back at the gym, the rest of the GOM are wondering about Coach Sanada’s approval of Aomine ditching practice, and Mukkun wants to ditch too. Akashi tells him that’s not allowed and the Mukkun vs. Akashi match starts with Bokushi awakening.
Akashi’s acting was so good, the contrast between Ore and Boku. And the music for Bokushi’s appearance was spine-chilling....I want the soundtrack for this please....
They use a mix of actual ball-handling and using an ‘air’ ball. Even without the ball you can tell Akashi’s actor is really good at basketball.
Akashi declares as long as they win, no one needs to show up for practice, much to Midorima’s shock.
Kuroko returns and asks Akashi who he is, and Akashi responds, “Of course, I’m Akashi Seijuurou.”
Months pass and the GOM are unbeatable and getting bored in matches, so Kise suggests making it a competition of who can score the most, with even Akashi joining in.
Ogiwara happily tells Kuroko they made it to the finals, but Kuroko is unhappy with the current atmosphere of the club. He asks Akashi to let him start out in the semi-finals, which Akashi permits.
Ogiwara is impressed with how much Kuroko has improved.
Kuroko gets hit in the head by the other team and is taken to the nurse.
Ogiwara talks with Akashi about Kuroko, and asks Akashi if basketball is fun. Akashi responds he doesn’t understand such a question.
Kuroko asks to play but Akashi tells him no under doctor’s orders, and tells him Ogiwara’s message about playing each other agian someday. Kuroko asks Akashi to not hold back against Meiko.
Despite losing 111-109, Ogiwara is fighting back against Teiko, telling his teammates to score one basket and losing proudly.
Ogiwara shoots and misses, and Aomine complains how they gave him the chance and tells Mukkun to shoot it.
Ogiwara, on the ground, looks at them in confusion to why they would score on their own basket.
Kise happily announces how they reached their goal and that they’re all matching, and points to the scoreboard to reveal the score of 111-11.
Kuroko comes out to see a heartbroken Ogiwara, who looks at him before leaving the stage.
Kuroko talks how painful it is, and what is victory. Onoken’s acting here was emotional, as expected from already portraying Kuroko in the anime.
The GOM come out and line up behind Kuroko similar to the panel in the manga.
Kuroko announces his resignation.
Kuroko narrates how Ogiwara has transferred, and Ogiwara comes out on stage saying how the GOM had such cold eyes, but Kuroko can melt that coldness.
Kagami then comes out, and scolds Kuroko along with the rest of Seirin.
Hyuuga gets mad at both of them and sends Izuki and Koganei to drag Kuroko off and give him a tickle attack. Riko follows.
Kiyoshi and Hyuuga comment how it was a sad story and that Kuroko never talks about himself like that, so now they must win.
The next day is the Kaijou vs Shuutoku match for third place and the finals.
Mukkun meets up with Aomine and Momoi, who talk about who would win. They say third place is decided but the finals could be anyone.
Kise is on the bench due to his injury, and Shuutoku easily wins the third place match.
Midorima tells Kise their match is ‘postponed’ for now.
Kise gets annoyed saying, “WELL OF COURSE. IF I WAS IN THERE I’D WIN”
Kise and Midorima continue to bicker.
Kasamatsu and Otsubo just look at each other and let their kouhais fight it out.
Towards the second half of the runs, when Midorima points his finger at Kise, Kise actually bites his finger. No, I mean it. He actually bites it. Midorima gets grossed out by it.
Midorima: EW SO GROSS NANODAYO Kise: I’M NOT GROSS. I’M PRETTY.
^yes, those were actual lines.
Now it’s time for Seirin vs Rakuzan.
Haizaki’s actor is the referee.
For the tip-off, Nebuya gets upset that Kiyoshi isn’t the one jumping.
Seirin declares Mayuzumi not a threat since there’s little information on him, so Aomine asks Momoi about it. This is an adlib scene and varies per show.
May 5- Aomine asks Momoi to get ‘that’ (her notebook) from her bag. Instead she pulls out one of his gravure photobooks. She proceeds to put it back but Aomine hastily takes it away. Momoi asks Mukkun if it’s in his potato chip bag. He looks in it and pulls out..................a chip. Turns out the notebook was in her bag after all, much to Aomine’s annoyance.
May 11- Instead of her notebook, Momoi kept pulling out Mukkun’s empty potato chip bags. Aomine gets mad, but Mukkun only responds, “They were yummy~.” The notebook again was in her bag after all.
May 19- similar to the May 5 adlib.
When Hayama does his dribbling, Mukkun agains shakes vigorously on the side. This time, since he has chips, he sometimes dropped them on stage. So afterwards, you would see him picking them off the ground.
Both Reo and Mayu admit how loudly annoying Hayama is (they were running across stage too )
When Nebuya gets upset that Kiyoshi doesn’t remember what he told him 2 years ago, he literally throws a tantrum on the ground.
Everyone in both Rakuzan and Seirn:.............
When Akashi goes into the Zone, he actually dribbles around everyone with the ball across the stage. Talk about coordination!
Akashi’s shocked face as he’s starting to lose was perfect too. Sorry I have a lot of Akashi notes....
As he’s starting to lose, Akashi starts switching between Oreshi and Bokushi. Oreshi’s voice has like an echo/autotune effect but it’s not a recording or anything.
Thus, the monologue between Oreshi and Bokushi was amazing. The actor constantly switches between both sides very smoothly. Give this guy an Oscar please.
When Oreshi talks about his mother, a ball falls from the sky and he hugs the ball close to him as he mentions it’s what he has left of her.
You can actually visually see the difference between Oreshi and Bokushi in face expression.
As Seirin admits defeat, they’re all collapsed on the ground, even Riko, until Ogiwara comes out and cheers for them.
Aomine shouts out from the side of the stage. In the finale he was even crying.
Kaijou and Shuutoku go in the audience and cheer for Seirin from there.
For the May 11th show I had Kaijou right behind me. Literally -screams
Aomine was crying real tears when he says “So it was you all along, Tetsu...”
For the finale was sobbing more
For the final shot, the stage goes all dark as Kuroko says “I’m a shadow.” Then Kagami comes out from behind and makes the final dunk.
Lantana then begins to play as Kagami declares Seirin the winners of Winter Cup.
In the final performance, Akashi cried as he admits his loss and even when he shook hands with Kuroko.
After Kuroko shakes hands with Akashi, and says that they can play basketball at anytime, Seirin and Rakuzan make a quick bow and run off stage.
Final Scenes
The remaining GOM come out in their uniforms, each with a basketball, and happily dribbling around the stage.
Kise sees Haizaki walking out with his shoes, about to throw them away, but Haizaki hesitates and instead hugs them close to him. He sees Kise was watching him and Kise smiles knowing Haizaki didnt’ really hate basketball after all.
The different teams come out taking a stand in front of the stage and then having a fun match against each other.
Kaijou vs Shuutoku
Seirin vs Rakuzan
The players even go up against other players that we didn’t see during the matches. Everything was so emotional and happy.
The last scene ends with Kuroko and Kagami fistbumping each other and Kagami poses as he’s about to dunk and Kuroko kneels below him fistbumping towards us as all the other players are reaching out towards Kagami.
Curtain Calls
May 5th Aichi Finale - Akashi and Reo
Reo mentions how in high school he was the only one in his group who didn’t read KnB. And now he’s IN KnB.
May 11-Kiyoshi and Koganei
They got Hyuuga to go to the center and do a big “KUROSUTE FIGHT O” cheer with the cast and audience.
May 19th-Kuroko and Kagami
This one was really emotional as it was the final performance ever. Yuya starts crying over his talk over Kagami, and he even deeply bows to Onoken to thank him.
Onoken didn’t cry but he was on the verge of doing so, his voice was shaking.
I lost count of how many curtain calls there were for the finale, but there was a lot.
Highlights
Every show Rakuzan would high-five Akashi as they left the stage
For the finale Mayuzumi even hugged Akashi, and then for another curtain call afterwards all of Rakuzan group-hugged Akashi
Kuroko and Kagami asked if the director was around, apparently he wasn’t so they asked someone to say “Thank you” in his place instead. The cast chose Akashi to say it.
Momoi ran up to Aomine and Kise and walked off together.
On one of the last curtain calls, Aomine and Kise decided to have OnoKen thrown up in the air and got everyone to join in.
Every curtain call ends with Kagami and Kuroko fistbumping each other and leaving. For the very last curtain call, it was all of Seirin together.
Kiyoshi lifts Riko up in the air for a few seconds to celebrate.
And thus concludes my last Kurosute report....please consider buying the DVD or Blu-Ray when it comes out, you won’t regret it.
Once again, thank you for four years Kurosute. Thank you cast members for doing a wonderful job portraying our beloved characters. Thank you Fujimaki-sensei for creating such a beloved series.

Constant
Summary:
According to his father, victory is constant. According to his mother, love is. After the death of his mother, both of these beliefs are put to the test.
Will he ever find his constant?
Or, Akashi Seijūrō does lose.
Also, posted on Ao3.
“Victory is the only constant thing in an Akashi’s life,” his father said. “Nothing else. Don’t expect anything, except victory, to remain in your life.”
How did the little boy feel about these words? Nothing.
But how did he feel? Cold. Just like a normal boy did during dinner discussions with their fathers. Unlike normal boys, however, he didn’t look for protection from cold. It wasn’t because he didn’t want to lose to it—it was because warmth did nothing to lessen the cold. The food in front of him, the warm smile of his mother—the warmth they brought seemed to dissipate when his father looked down on him, as if there was something missing.
He didn’t want to hear what that something was. He just wanted to ignore the ways in which he may have failed. He wants to believe that he always wins. Yet, 17 years later, he remembers all that he’s lost.
*
“No matter what, you will never be alone, Seijūrō.” His mother uttered those words when he learned that the boy who had tried to befriend him only did so because he was obligated to do so. “My father was supposed to work together with your father, but now they’re not going to, so my father said we don’t need to be friends anymore,” his schoolmate said. Seijūrō had accepted it. He was glad that his father didn’t force him to befriend his colleagues’ children. Yet, he couldn’t help but feel hurt that the boy he thought was his friend didn’t truly want to be with him.
“And you’ll find friends who will always be there for you in the future.” His mother’s voice was as bright as her eyes. In her eyes was all the warmth that Seijūrō would ever need in his life.
However…
“You can’t always be there for me, Mother.” The little boy’s voice was as small as he was. “Father said that the only thing that is constant in an Akashi’s life is victory.”
There was a beat of silence, that was filled with his mother’s gentle smile. She took his hands, she shared her warmth with him. The silence turned to song, as she said, “But you are not only an Akashi. You are Seijūrō. You are a person. And for all people, love is constant. Not only through the lives, but even when they die.”
He was a child. Of course, he believed his mother. After all, his mother was the source of what seemed to be all the love in the world. When she tucked him into bed that night, he completely ignored how she didn’t disagree when he said that she wouldn’t always be there for him.
*
Years later, his mother is gone. All that’s left of her warmth is the incense. Its smell fills the room, and Seijūrō is sick of it. He wishes it were gone, gone, gone. He still remembers all she said about love and about how he would never be alone, but he feels as if he is far away from everyone. No one can accept him with open arms—not even himself. He tries not to cry, but the tears stream down his face, anyway. In the corner of his vision, his father is giving him a disapproving glance, although his eyes are tinted red. He moves toward his son and grips his shoulders, “We’ll have to keep you busy, Seijūrō”—and that was the most affection he received from his father at age eleven.
Even when Seijūrō tries to work, he can’t seem to focus. His vision is blurry, and it’s clear that he can’t handle all of this on his own.
“If you’re so useless, I can take care of things.” The mocking tone comforts Seijūrō, and he lets a new part of himself handle his life. His little brother doesn’t cry. He is in control of everything. Somehow, his brutality is reassuring, and Seijūrō can always trust that his brother will handle everything with precise efficiency. However, what’s more important is how his little brother shows Seijūrō that his mother was right—he will never be alone. Of course, said brother scoffs at the idea of love being constant in one’s life. However, he says nothing whenever Seijūrō says that his love for him is definitely constant. (Although, once in a while, he will talk about how narcissistic that is.)
It’s nice, he thinks, having a brother.
*
Midorima Shintarō is an interesting boy, to say the least. He cares very much about fate, but he never depends on it. There is an aura of strength around him. All his actions have significant weight, but they never bring him down. He has an efficiency to his character that almost rivals his younger brother’s. Intelligent, proper and motivated—those are just some of the many words to describe Midorima. He first met him thanks to basketball, but the spark of friendship was ignited during their first shōgi match.
At first, Seijūrō thought it was coincidence. Eventually, he agreed with Midorima—it was fate. Seijūrō had been playing shōgi alone in the clubroom, waiting for practice to start, when Midorima entered, a pained expression on his face and fists clenched. Then again, that did seem to be Midorima’s default expression, although it seemed rather forced that moment. “Is there a problem, Midorima?”
“I lost my lucky item, nanodayo.” Midorima walked over to Seijūrō, each step measured and precise.
“I see.” Seijūrō put another piece forward, expecting Midorima to look around the room. Surprisingly, the boy walked towards him.
“My lucky item is a king, an ōshō.” There was a fierceness in Midorima’s eyes, as he looked directly into Seijūrō’s. It was as if he was issuing a challenge.
Well, that’s interesting. “Please have a seat then.” Seijūrō gestured towards the vacant seat in front of him and started setting up the pieces. “Do you play?”
“Yes.” Left fist still clenched, Midorima sat down. “I will win the piece from you.”
“Oh, no.” Seijūrō picked the ōshō up and presented it to Midorima on an open palm. “You will need all the luck you can get if you are to defeat me.”
“Are you mocking me?” Something flashed in Midorima’s eyes.
“Of course not, Midorima.” The redhead, unable to contain his amusement, smiled. “I am lending this to you because I believe you will put up a worthy fight. Plus, I would hate for you to not put your best foot forward against me.”
Pushing his glasses up, Midorima sighed. “Fine, then.” After taking the ōshō, the game commenced. Halfway through, Seijūrō made a move to bait Midorima, who’s fist unclenched as he relaxed, and that was when Seijūrō noticed that there was something in his hand. Of course, he smiled, Midorima would never actually lose a lucky item.
They had been playing for an hour, when Midorima noticed that it was almost time for practice. “May we continue the game when practice is over?”
“I’m afraid I have some matters to attend to at home right after practice. I think it would be alright if we just left all the pieces in place.”
Midorima nodded and stood up. “Alright, then. I look forward to our…”
“Friendship?” Seijūrō suggested. The smile was still stuck on his face, and he was having a difficult time getting rid of it.
“I suppose this is friendship. What would friendship entail?” At first, Seijūrō thinks it’s a joke, but one look at Midorima tells him that the green-haired boy is asking a serious question.
“I’m actually not so sure.” Midorima’s expression shifts to one of surprise. It was kind of sad that even people who didn’t know him very well expected him to know a lot. He knows his brother would say that
“So, there are some things you don’t know.”
“There are many things I don’t know.” It felt strange to be admitting such a fact—even if it was the truth—out aloud. At the same time, it also felt nice to admit it. “My classmates have been randomly screaming, singing—actually, I have no idea what they’re doing, but they shout ‘Jaeger’ whenever they enter the classroom. Frankly, I don’t know what’s going on. Am I expected to do the same thing?”
“My classmates have been doing the same thing. It’s a reference to Shingeki no Kyojin.” Midorima pushed his glasses up with a sigh. “At least your class doesn’t sing the entire opening. They become a little… intense during lunchtime. Their actions make no sense.”
“Your actions don’t either,” Seijūrō points out.
“If you followed Oha-Asa, you would realize that my actions are justi—”
“Oh, no, you are mistaken.” Seijūrō put his palms up. It was generally something the defeated did, but when he did it, it seemed to calm people down. It was as if he could control the world with these little actions. “Oha-Asa isn’t senseless. However, asking me for a shōgi piece that you already have in your left hand is.”
It is strangely delightful to see Midorima’s face redden.
“What was the point of doing that?” It is a perfectly innocent question that should have an innocent response, but Midorima seems even more embarrassed. “I’m quite sure that you didn’t simply forget that you had the object you needed to obtain in your own hand. Also, you are a very logical man—so I’m sure that you didn’t do this for no reason.”
“I—” Midorima sighs, looking everywhere but at Seijūrō. Then, his stiffens. “I heard that you’re very good at shōgi, and I wanted to play you.”
“Next time—” Seijūrō couldn’t believe there was a next time. “Just ask. I would never refuse a good opponent.”
Shōgi matches soon turned into heated discussions about strange books they had read or the stupid things their classmates said or anything, really.
Sometimes, Seijūrō just smiles and thinks of how his mother was right. Now, he has a brother and a friend. All that was left was for them to remain constant. He had faith in both of them, and he was sure, that they would never let him down.
Or would they?
In the end, neither victory nor love were constant for he lost the love he used to have. All the light faded into darkness.
There would be no one to pull him out.

Note
How about GOM + kagami, and imoshyi reacting to their s/o first love was Karma akabane from assassination classroom? And they break up and years later they see her engaged to him? Sorry if you don't do crossovers
Well, that’s alright! It’s good to write things I rarely do. I am so so sorry if this took too long! 🌸
Thank you for requesting! 💋
♥︎ AKASHI:
Why?
It didn’t feel right when Akashi questioned himself. But right now, how could he not? Seeing as to how happy she is.. holding hands with a man with the same hair colour as his, it didn’t make him feel any better.
Kuroko had said that taking a relaxing stroll in the park would help. He wanted to take his mind off of her, for months, his heart has been broken. He was glad his friends were trying their best to cheer him up.
But now he regretted taking in that advice. His heart dropped, as he blinked away the tears that were starting to fall.
“Eh, Karma-kun, you seem.. odd today.” she smiled ear to ear as she looked up at the man Akashi despised. He didn’t understand how it all escalated so quickly. And he actually thought someone would love him.
“Do I, (Name)?” but Akashi’s emotions couldn’t help but tone down a bit by the way Karma was with her. He knew the guy was always hungry for blood, always seeking out violence. But as he watched him casually walking around the park with her, the way he looked at her, the way he smiled so genuinely around her, the way he spoke..
It painfully reminded it of him.
Akashi watched from afar as Karma pulled out a black velvet box from the back of his pocket, and knelt in front of her, his hands coated around hers.
Akashi pocketed his own, wishing it had been him. He wished he hadn’t sound so desperate, but it was worse than what it actually sounded.
“(Name)..” Karma’s eyes twinkled. The way his mind worked that this could be him, if only fate had been on his side. But how could that be? The only one who has been helping him up all this time was her. And when she left, he was all alone. How could you pick yourself up from falling down a cliff if no one was there to catch you?
“Will you marry me?” he popped open the box, revealing a beautiful silver ring that gleamed perfectly in the sunlight, especially out in the open field where they stood.
Akashi stepped back until his spine hit the trunk of a tree, his fists clenched as he stayed quiet and bit his lip.
She smiled, and for a while, Akashi thought everything was okay again. Until she burst into tears and squealed, hugging Karma tightly - the way she used to when Akashi did something surprising.
But it wasn’t him.
And it will never be.
♥︎ KISE:
“I can do this..” Kise muttered to himself as he adjusted his tie and inhaled the fresh scent of the flowers in his hand. It always fascinated him on how she could make him so flustered, even though she should be the one blushing madly just by his presence.
It’s been three years since they last saw each other. Sure, Kise’s been a mess, going around to clubs like that to try and get his mind over her, but once Kasamatsu and Kuroko finally knocked the sense into him, and I mean literally, he’s gone back to being his old self.
Luckily, his confidence and optimism came back too.
He ringed the doorbell and looked around the neighbourhood. How he found where she lived, exactly, Akashi had too much power to do that easily. The house reminded him of what they both used to talk about when they were dating.
She would talk about how she would like their house to look like, and the architecture of this home.. it brought back silly memories he never wanted to forget.
The door clicked.
Kise maintained his composure and cleared his throat as a beautiful woman, with familiar (eye colour)ed eyes looking up at him, paired with a kind smile that always melted him.
“Ryouta?” she blinked, her hand still on the doorknob as if she were thinking twice about slamming the door in his face.
She was twice as beautiful as she was three years ago. Her smiled widened at the sight of him, and the way her eyes gleamed in excitement made his heart beat a little faster.
“… (Name)cchi?” Kise gulped. Everything was going fine, until a familiar red head showed up.
He still had the ever so iconic mischievous look on his eyes like he wanted to kill you. Unfortunately, it was directed at Kise. He had his arm wrapped around her shoulder. Kise wanted to tell him off about it, until he noticed a ring wrapped around (Name)’s ring finger.
His eyes dropped on Karma’s hand, which had the same ring. They were…. engaged.
“Oh..” Karma looked around with a sadistic smile. “It’s your old friend.”
Kise fought the urge to pick a fight. He faked a smile and pushed it to (Name)’s chest, only noticing the small bump forming on her belly. He grimaced.
“I just wanted to say..” he grinned, his heart clenching. “Congratulations.”
“Ryouta!” she smiled widely. “I appreciate it. How have you been? Would you like to stay for a while? We sure need a lot of catching up to do!”
“Yeah.. we sure do.” Kise turned, looking over his shoulder. “But maybe next time. (Name)cchi.” he waved.
“Lying was always my flaw in your eyes, wasn’t it? I’m happy you didn’t see through it this time.”
♥︎ MIDORIMA:
“You’re good!” Takao pushed his Midorima encouragingly. “You have your lucky item. You’re all handsome looking, it’s been 3 years, now go! I’ll be waiting here!”
Midorima gulped. Even now, he didn’t know if fate were to be on his side. Maybe meeting up after 3 years is that bad. But he didn’t want this grudge to go on too long. He just hoped she wasn’t angry at him still.
He walked up in front of her house. It was bigger than he expected it would be, since she was living alone. Was she?
He muttered words of courage to himself and rang the doorbell. They had no backup plan, which Takao was not in favour of, but Midorima thought it would be better if everything did go without a plan and he just went on with the flow. Plans always didn’t work.
The door pulled open revealing a red head with golden mischievous eyes. Did he visit the wrong house? God, he was such a klutz.
“Ah, Midorima-kun, isn’t it?” Karma looked up at him. Not only did he hate this guy because he was far too violent for (Name)’s own good, but also because he reminded him so much of that.. other Akashi. But instead of being hungry for victory, this guy’s hungry for blood.
“Yes.” Midorima nodded, he hoped he didn’t look as panicked as he actually was, because so much questions were running through his mind like wildfire.
“(Name)?” Karma called. “Someone’s here to see you.”
Karma then excused himself with a smirk, as another person walked in front of the megane. She still had her kind smile and bright eyes, and in her arms.. was an infant.
Midorima’s heart dropped.
“Shintarou?” her eyes widened, her shock quickly being replaced by excitement. “It’s been years! How are you?” she continued throwing questions as she cradled the baby in her arms.
She must’ve noticed he was staring, because her smile widened. “Her name’s Akemi. She’s adorable, isn’t she? She even has her father’s eyes!”
Golden eyes.. yeah.
Midorima nodded endlessly. “Yes, I can see that, nanodayo.”
She looked up at him. “So what brought you here, Shintarou? How was medical school? Oha asa-”
“I just.. wanted to congratulate you and bring in.. your lucky item of the day!” he said quickly, pushing over to her the bouquet of flowers he has been holding.
“But-”
“Take care of your child, nanodayo. She’s healthy. Though she requires her weekly checkup.” he instructed, and with that, he waved off.
“How was it, Shin-chan?” Takao’s smile dropped at the sight of Midorima. It’s been years since.. “Were you crying?”
“Let’s not speak of this again, Takao.”
And even Takao couldn’t interfere, to see his best friend so heart broken, even he couldn’t help but stay quiet.
“As you wish.”
♥︎ AOMINE:
“This is it, Satsuki!” Aomine said excitedly, confidence running through his veins. Not only was he elated to once again see his first love, but he was confident on winning her back.
“Wishing you all the luck, Dai-chan!” Momoi gave him a thumbs up, just as excited as she handed him the bouquet of roses. “Remember, don’t freak out and act sincere!”
“I got it.” Aomine snorted, getting the bouquet and walking up to the door. He rang the doorbell and cleared his throat, putting his words in his mind carefully.
“It’s been a while..” he muttered to himself. “Want to play basketball like old times?”
He hoped he hadn’t look look like an idiot. Just then, the door flew open, revealing the ever so familiar girl he first fell in love with.
“What are you doing here?” her eyes widened, just then, her shock was replaced by excitement. “Ah, I’m sorry for the rude greeting. Daiki! What the hell are you doing here?”
As he stood in front of her, those words he put together a minute ago didn’t matter anymore. He was lost of words. Especially when a 4 year old kid beside her was staring up at curiously.
“Okaa-san, who’s the ugly man?” he asked curiously. Aomine made a sound at the back of his throat. That greeting hit a memory nerve..
“(Name)-chan, who’s the ugly man?” Karma asked as he stood beside his girlfriend.
“My boyfriend, Aomine Daiki!” she smiled warmly. “Don’t be so mean, Karma-kun!”
“He’s my friend, dear.” she patted his head softly. “Like I said, pay your respects, alright?”
He nodded and smiled. Karma.. he didn’t want to believe it. That in the end.. he was the one that lost.
“Nothing.. (Name).” he awkwardly scratched the back of his head. “It seems that you’re living a happy life here.”
She nodded. “Indeed. Karma has been hardworking.”
He nodded. “Alright, i’m just..” he pointed to the park. “Going to go now. It was nice.”
She smiled and waved. “It has.”
But Aomine knew she meant something far more than just that.
♥︎ MURASAKIBARA:
“Atsushi, don’t show too much affection when you see her, alright?” Himuro instructed sternly.
“Why?” the taller man frowned.
“Just.. follow my orders.” Himuro smiled generously. “And you’ll be fine. Act like you’re just friends, don’t be too forceful, be nice..”
“Alright, Muro-chin.” he nodded, before pulling out the cake he had baked for this day from his bag. “I’ll follow your orders.”
Murasakibara bent down to ring the doorbell. He patiently waited, tapping his foot from time to time. He even almost drifted off, until he heard soft footsteps making it’s way to the door.
He blinked away his sleepiness.
A red head about an inch taller than Himuro opened the door. He looked up at him with strikingly dangerous eyes. “Ah.. Atsushi, wasn’t it?”
Murasakibara didn’t reply. s of now, he was thinking wether this was the right place or not. The least person he wanted to see right now..
“(Name) wouldn’t want me to pick a fight.” he placed a finger on his chin, then smirked, before peeking his head inside the house. “(Name), someone’s here to see you.”
“Don’t do anything foolish.” he glared at him, before walking away, to be replaced by a beautiful woman.
“A-Atsushi?” she said, flustered. “W-what.. what are you doing here?”
“(Name)-chin!” a lazy grin makes it’s way to Murasakibara’s lips as he handed her the bag. “It’s your favourite.”
“A.. thank you.” she smiled warmly.
Murasakibara fought the urge to hug her. “You’re welcome.”
(Name) thought Murasakibara would do something like walk inside her house, but this time, he just simply turned his back and walked away from her. She looked down on the bag.
‘Name-chin~ I missed you, enjoy this..’
- Atsushi
Murasakibara sloppily walked over to his friend, his long hair covering his face Himuro couldn’t even see his expression, but with the liquid dropping down on his hands, he knew he shouldn’t ask further questions.
“Muro-chin..” he started. “I did all of what you said I shouldn’t. I didn’t kiss her, I didn’t hug her. I didn’t.. but why did I get my heart broken?”
♥︎ KAGAMI:
“Yosh! This is your chance, Kagami!” Riko encouraged, pushing the bag of food he has cooked to his chest. “Win her back! We’ll be waiting.”
“If you fail, Kagami-kun.” Kuroko spoke up. “You’ll be punished.”
“Why do I have to be the one punished?” he complained, though he was grateful that his good old friends were there to support him. The whole Seirin team.
“Stop wasting time, Kagami.” Hyuga spat. “Just go!”
Kagami snorted, then quickly made his way in front of the door. He rang the doorbell. He hoped he wasn’t as red as his hair. It’s been years since they last saw each other.
“Karma, stop!” he heard from inside. The voice was no doubt (Name)’s. At first, he wanted to break the door open, but he then realised she was laughing. “Someone’s at the door. Don’t be ignorant, now.”
“You’re too ticklish.” another voice said.
“Oh, haha.” she said. Once the door was open, Kagami was at loss of words. She was even more beautiful than she was years ago.
“TAIGA?!” she exclaimed, maybe a little too loud.
“Oi!” Kagami covered his ears. “You’re still as loud as before. No need to shout your lungs out.” his heart was beating so fast. And it hurt.
“Here.” Kagami threw her the bag of food. “Eat up.”
Sure, it was awkward; but he didn’t care. After he said those last words, he walked away. He didn’t know if things were still worth it. The ring on her finger said it all.
“How did it go?” Riko asked excitedly, bouncing up and down.
Kagami gritted his teeth. “Just like Hyuga-senpai said. A waste of time.”
♥︎ IMAYOSHI:
Imayoshi was always that one guy you could tease all day and he wouldn’t lose his cool composure. Who knew he’d be so flustered by a girl?
Who knew he’s been loyal to only one girl, anyways?
He rang the doorbell. He wasn’t the cliche type, so he didn’t really brought anything as a gift. So when things went bad, he wouldn’t look like a complete idiot.
The door was pulled open faster than he thought it would be. A familiar red head opened the door. That one guy he always loved competing his witts against.
“Ah, it’s you..” Karma grinned excitedly, that deadly gleam in his eyes still present. Unexpectedly, he poked his head inside the house, and called for that name he has always been thinking of. “(Name)!”
Karma gave him a sadistic smile, before walking off somewhere inside the house. His irritation was immediately replaced by nervousness when the same girl that made his heart beat stood in front of him.
“You?” her eyes widened.
“I do happen to have a name.” Imayoshi pushed up his glasses. “Have you forgotten?”
She rolled her eyes. “Still not changing the way you pair up your words, Shoichi? Of course I haven’t forgotten.” she smiled warmly. “What brought you here?”
It must’ve been stupid, because he hadn’t even thought about what to answer when she asked that questioned.
“Just wanted to see how you were doing.” he pocketed his hands. “It seems that you’re happy. I shouldn’t be a burden, should I?”
“You’re not.”
“Oh, well.” he faked a smile. “I’ve gotten my answer. I hope you continue to live on and accept what fate has in store for you, (Name).”
“You’re still so weird.”
He turned, an irresistible smile making it’s way to his lips as a single tear flowed down from his eyes.

Chapter 7: MYST’s Comeback
"Dai-chan, you're so slow!" Momoi had called out to the male who was holding all of her shopping bags, turning around to see him just a few meters away. The male's face could be read like an open book; annoyed. "I think that's all of it. Wait, maybe I left some–" A loud groan was heard. "Ha?! You already went to Carlo Rino and a lot more shops, and you still wanna buy more? Just how much money do you have, Satsuki?!" Aomine placed the bags down, glaring at the girl who was looking anywhere else but him. "I'm buying these for a friend, so don't be such a party pooper."
"Bullshit." He rubbed the back of his head, before picking up the bags. "I think that's about it. Ah! We're supposed to meet the others at Starbucks in ten minutes! Dai-chan, let's go!" She cried, dashing through the crowd and to the said destination, leaving the poor male alone. "Oi, Satsuki! Wait up, will you?" He abruptly chased the girl, telling himself to never ever go shopping with her again.
After taking a few bags from the bluenette, they walked side by side, Momoi apologising whilst Aomine rolling his eyes at the apologies. After a few minutes, they they arrived at the cafe and noticed a certain blond male put up his hand, calling the two. "Momocchi, Aominecchi!" The usual grin was plastered on his face; Momoi tugging Aomine's shirt and pointing at the group of friends before running towards them. "Long time no see, Ki-chan, Midorin, Mukkun and Akashi-kun!"
"Long time no– Momocchi, did you buy everything?" Kise stood up and walked towards her, taking a peek into her bags. "You should've just called me! Since I used to be a model, I got discounts and still have them 'till now!" He took the bags and set them aside, pulling the chair and gesturing the girl to sit; a gentleman as always. "Really? Bummer! A friend I'm working with asked me to buy these since they had promotions. But it's alright; there's always next time." Kise was about to open his mouth to say something, when–
"Shut up, Kise. You're too loud." Aomine grumbled, setting the last bag aside and sitting beside him, a loud sigh escaping his lips. Kise frowned, crossing his arms and turning around with a pout, murmuring "Aominecchi is a big meanie" under his breath. Momoi giggled; the group didn't really change much, everyone was lively as ever. A plastic cup was then placed in front of her by Murasakibara who said he bought her a drink earlier. Momoi thanked him and took a sip; the sweet taste of caramel and cream melting in her mouth.
"Hey, do you guys wanna come with me to a concert later tonight?" Momoi voiced out, and all eyes were on her. "A concert? Which one?" Akashi leaned in, seemingly interested. "MYTS's concert! I got free tickets when I bought their album with a few of my friends, but they couldn't go so they gave their tickets to me." She took her bag and fished out the tickets; six of them, to be exact.
"Sure! I've never been to their concert before, but a lot of my colleagues talk about them and I'll say, their songs are great!" Kise nodded, and Momoi gave him a ticket which he gratefully accepted. "But what does 'MYST' stands for anyway?" Kise questioned, drinking his own Frappuccino . "Well, I heard it's short for 'Maybe You Shine Too', but some said it's actually based on their names; Mitsuru, Minoru, Seiji, Shiro and Yuki." Momoi explained, handing a ticket to everyone else. "They're having a comeback today and there's going to be a special guest, too!"
"They sound like retards." Aomine commented after looking them up. Momoi, offended, smacked his head and crossed her arms rolling her eyes. "Well, at least they get girls who wants to date them; unlike you." Aomine gasped, offended by the girl's remark. Somehow, that insult brought back memories from eight years ago which he always wanted to forget. Unexpectedly, the redhead who was sitting in front of her gave the ticket back. "Unfortunately, I can't go. I still have to finish the work my lecturer and my father gave me, and I'm still working as an entertainer in that bar I told you before. I took the night shift today, so I can't. Sorry, Momoi."
"No no, it's alright! It's partly my fault for asking all of a sudden." Momoi internally cursed at herself as she couldn't bring the male. "What about you guys? Are you going?" She turned to look at the others. "Well, I wouldn't dare leave a girl go to a concert all by herself," Kise smiled. "I don't wanna hear your dad screaming his head off at me later," Aomine grumbled. "I don't want these two pulling you in a mess, so I have no choice." Midorima sighed. "I don't have anything better to do, so I'll join you." Murasakibara replied. Momoi smiled and gave a nod.
"Great!"
"Tetsu-kun, happy birthday!" Momoi exclaimed, walking to a gravestone which tombstone had the name 'Kuroko Tetsuya' engraved on it. She placed a bouquet of flowers that was pink in colour; Gladioli flowers. "We came to see you again. Do you like the flowers?" Kise knelt down and placed yellow daffodils beside the pink gladioli. He clapped his hands and closed his eyes, whispering something inaudible to everyone else but himself. He then took a step back, standing next to Momoi.
"Sorry for not visiting you often, Kuro-chin. I was busy for the assignments my chef gave me, but there's a butsudan I made just for you back in Akita." Murasakibara murmured, placing chrysanthemums on the grave. "Oha Asa said that meeting someone important to me today will bring me good luck," Midorima mumbled, doing the same thing the other's did; placing orchids on top of the other flowers.
"Yo, Tetsu. Happy birthday." Aomine knelt down and placed hydrangeas beside the orchids and clasped his hands together and murmuring something before moving away. Akashi was the last person who placed his flowers; roses. "It's been five years since then," he forced the words out of his throat. "Are you still mad at me?" Silence. He closed his eyes and sighed before standing up, walking away. Once he was far enough from the grave, he looked up the blue sky before mouthing;
I'm sorry.
In another place..
The two brothers were currently in their dressing room, singing the songs they was supposed to perform later together. Suddenly, the door was knocked and their manager came in. "Mitsuru, Minoru," Haruko called, "can you come to the lounge room later? The other members are already there." With a nod, the twins closed their books and took a drink from their water bottles before exiting the room, following their manager from behind. As soon as she opened the door, the room was filled with his band members and staffs, a smile plastered on their faces. "Happy birthday, Mitsuru and Minoru!' They said, and when he turned around he saw his twin beside him just as surprised.
"Well, this is certainly unexpected," Mitsuru chuckled, shaking his head. "Oh well, let's celebrate then!" He elder said, and pulled his younger brother who didn't resist much.
"Ah, I'm so excited!" Momoi gripped her concert ticket tightly, a wide smile on her face. "You really like this group, don't you?" Kise teased. "Yeah! You'll understand why when the concert starts." Momoi beamed, humming the tune to one of their songs. The former model smiled and didn't press the subject further, though he was just as eager to get inside the hall.
"I'm actually surprised that there are guys here. At least it won't be so awkward." Aomine muttered, and some of the group members agreed. "For once, Aomine is saying something decent." Midorima commented. "Hey!"
"Guys, it's our turn!" Momoi called and took their tickets before handing them to the staff, winking as she went in the hall with the other boys. As they sat on their assigned seats - which was apparently in the VVIP zone - the lights went off and the sillhoeuettes of the singers appeared on the big screen. They began to state the rules such as videos and photographs weren't allowed in the hall, eating wasn't allowed as well and so on.
"So my princess," Yuki's voice purred, "shall we start?" Seiji continued his question, and the whole arena screamed. The boys had to cover their ears just so they wouldn't have to resort to buying hearing aids.
"Three," Mitsuru started.
"Two," Minoru continued.
"One." Shiro finished.
There was a big bang as the five boys emerged from below the stage, all wearing casual-looking clothes.
BTS - Dope English Cover
Ayo ladies and gentlemen,
So if you're ready then we'll begin, yeah!
I am unique, different from the rest,
With my style, with my style, eo!
I work every night, every day,
When you're wasting time and out to play, yeah.
(I don't give a f, I don't give a f)
So listen to what I have to say,
(I don't give a f, I don't give a f)
I got a feel, I got a feel,
I am so dope!
We're dope, dope, dope, sweat dripping away,
We go go go, dance moves they will slay,
I'm not wimpy nor scrimpy nor skimpy, aha unlike you,
Oh you got nothing on me 'cause I'm so dope with hope.
Okay my dope, from my head all the way to my toes, (I'm so dope)
So easily I'll steal the show, (I'm so dope)
All work no play, our youth may rot away,
But in the end it's the top where I'll make my way, oh Holla! (I'm so dope!)
I work every night, every day,
When you're wasting time and out to play, yeah.
I am unique, different from the rest,
I don't wanna say yes, I don't wanna say yes.
Come make some noise, alright, (alright)
Go until your fuel burns up, all night. (all night!)
'Cause we got fire, fire! Higher higher!
I gotta make it, gotta gotta make it.
So dope!
Go away go away,
I'm too good for you, yeah.
Everyone follow me! (Dope dope dope!)
So dope!
Go away go away,
You'll have to obey me,
Everyone follow me! (Dope dope dope!)
So dope!
The whole arena screamed the member's name, including Momoi. "M-Y-S-T! M-Y-S-T! M-Y-S-T!" They all waved their light sticks, chanting the group's name as if they were some kind of sacred god. Soon they all went quiet as the next song started.
BTS - Run [English Cover]
You're the one and only sun, I'm needing in my world,
The only one I want; the one I'm blooming toward.
So lonesome lonesome, can't live without you so,
I'm needing you, I know, so don't leave or let me go.
I'm trying hard to hold on but I'm crashing, boom, (boom boom)
No matter how I run I'm still in the same old room, (room room)
Just burn me up, okay? Go on and push me away,
This race I'm running, dashing, sprinting; just to get to you.
Making me run more, making me run more,
No matter how my feet are swelling up,
When I see your smile; I know it'll heal it up.
Again I run run run, I just can't seem to stop it,
I run run run, I just can't seem to help it,
I keep trying in the end I've done nothing,
You are only one that I am still loving.
Again I run run run, don't matter if I'm falling,
I run run run, I'm hurting and I'm bawling,
Even if you are pushing me away,
I'll accept this cursing fate I'll be okay.
Run~ Don't tell me bye-bye,
Run~ You make me cry-cry,
Run~ Love is a lie-lie,
Don't tell me, don't tell me, don't tell me bye-bye.
"I don't like their songs." Aomine frowned. Momoi glanced at him and Midorima who agreed, and a smirk appeared on her lips. Of course they wouldn't like the songs; it obviously brought back memories and feelings they tried to avoid as much as they could. Then, she recalled the time she talked with Takumi the day before.
"What do you mean it's time?" Momoi faced him, clueless of what he was planning. Takumi always had this kind of mysterious aura surrounding him, and just like his brother; it was hard to read him. He was absolutely unpredictable.
"It's time those pesky Generation of Miracles find out the truth. I think eight years is enough mourning, don't you think so too?" He smiled, and a shudder ran down the A&R's spine. "Invite them to the concert tomorrow; all of them. Don't worry about the tickets, I have them right here." He gave her an envelope that contained six tickets, including hers.
"You'll be meeting them tomorrow, so give them those when you do."
After the song, the singers waved at the audience and thanked them for coming to the concert. "Are you guys having fun?" Yuki shouted, and the arena screamed a "Yes!" as a reply. "This is our first concert in a while, isn't it?" Shiro asked. "Did you guys miss your oh-so-adorable Shiro-tan?" He winked childishly at the fans, and laughed as they were all in their fangirl mode.
"Well, I guess we have to leave now, don't we, Minoru?" Takumi glanced at his twin who nodded. "I guess so, Mitsuru." The fans said no, but the twins waved it off. "Now, now, milady. We can't interfere with SYS; Mama Seiji would be furious. Wouldn't you, Mama?" Takumi playfully winked at the eldest member who sighed. "I wouldn't want you to steal my fans now, Papa." Seiji answered back. "Ouch, that hurt!"
"Hey, could you guys stop flirting in public and go and get a room?" Yuki retorted, clearly annoyed. Shiro was beside him, who nodded. "That's right, that's right!" Minoru stared at his twin, before uttering the words, "They have a point, you know." Takumi was heartbroken and went towards Seiji for comfort- only to be rejected as well. "Well then, we'll see you later, my princess." Tetsuya waved, and the twins along with the lights disappeared. Then, the music started.

The song ended with the audience giving a big round of applause to the group. "Now," Shiro started, "I bet you guys heard of the rumours about a secret guest being with us, huh?" Seiji smiled. "Well, it's true; we do have a special guest with us tonight."
"Introducing, the light and the shadow!"
The lights were once again turned off and the hall was silent. When it was turned back on, Tetsuya was on centre stage with a grand piano, and a familiar red head was leaning against it. Aomine was the first to shout; "Kagami Taiga?!"
Vixx LR - Beautiful Liar [English Cover]
This beautiful lie
My one last lie to you
Even if it hurts
I hide myself under a mask to hide the truth
Ever since we met, you brought out the bad in me
Every mirror that I shattered was a sad ending
As we kept fighting you told me that I was changing
All the good things about us were slowly fading
So I locked myself up in our dark cold memories
As I replay our worst moments over like a tragedy
I was a monster at night who kept coming back
But when the sun came out I felt like I was under attack
I want to let you go
But my heart stays the same
I think its best to move on
I feel like letting go
let my heart drift away
I think its best if we just go our separate ways
This beautiful lie
My one last lie to you
Even if it hurts
I hide myself under a mask to hide the truth
It's alright if you leave my side
I just want you to live your life
oh I'm
I'm a beautiful
I'm a beautiful liar
I wanted to be the princess in our perfect fantasy
But the poison apples we shared locked me in eternity
After dark it was chaos I had a steel heart
I was a voodoo doll constantly getting ripped apart
But like a devil I chose sinful ways that were far from right
I was a snake who wrapped around you way too tight
Just call me beautiful killer, Hyde and Jekyll, a sinner
It was my biggest error to stay with you, so lets end it
I wont linger around you like a ghost
This is the real me that I show to you, so go!
I think it's time for me
To give my heart to you
The fact that we loved is still beautiful.
This person trapped forever
seems to be more like me now
You turned around to face me
To not say stupid lies
You smiled but I knew it was just a poor disguise
It's a beautiful pain
Letting everything go
It kills me inside
But I fake a smile, put on a poor disguise.
The weight I carried is now gone
So please don't worry anymore, oh I'm
I'm a beautiful
No, a cowardly liar..
"Thank you arena!" Kagami shouted, waving at the audience. He went to the other male beside him, grinning from ear to ear as they shared a fistbump. "So, did you like the song? I put all my heart into writing those lyrics." Minoru smiled, and the audience cheered. He chuckled, "I'm glad you liked it." Suddenly, the four remaining members came out from backstage, clapping their hands as they walked towards the duo. "Good job, Light and Shadow!" Mitsuru grabbed his twin's wrist and pulled him close, cupping one cheek with his hand; "Here's a present."
He leaned down and was about to kiss the other when Seiji and Kagami screamed, pulling the two apart while Shiro and Yuki censored the two, the cameras unable to take a clean shot of the twins kissing.
"How many times have we told you," Seiji grabbed the leader's collar, clearly annoyed by his antics. "NOT to do indecent things on stage?!" Kagami continued, letting Minoru stand behind him as if he was protecting the latter. "Kagami, Kazehaya, please stop. You're not my mother." Minoru commented and the two gasped. "Aw, is Mama Seiji jealous?" Mitsuru wrapped his arms around the elder's neck, looking into his eyes. Seiji glared at him before pushing him away, "Get your head out of the gutters."
"The twins," Kise murmured, "look like Kurokocchi."
"Kagami Taiga," Midorima uttered, looking at the group with wide eyes.
"Sacchin," Murasakibara called, "did you know?"
Momoi turned around and smiled at them, "Of course I did. But I didn't tell you. You know why?" She narrowed her eyes at each and every one of them, her smile faltering before she said, "You didn't have the right to know."
The Generation of Miracles were shocked; how did their former manager know? Why did she keep it a secret? Didn't they made a promise to no longer keep secrets from each other?
After the concert, Momoi told them to follow her to backstage. When they were stopped, the A&R only showed them her pass and the security apologised and let her in. She entered a room that the GoM confirmed as a dressing room. "Great work, everyone!"
"Tsuki!" Shiro jumped from the couch and ran towards her, pulling her in the room. "Did you like my performance? Did you? Did you? I was amazing, wasn't I? Did you notice that Yukki almost tripped during 'Loser'? Well, he is a loser after all!" ("Hey! Watch who you're calling a loser!" Yuki growled.) Satsuki laughed and nodded. "We have guests." Seiji rose from his seat, glancing behind her. "Ah, the Generation of Miracles? I suppose Takumi told you to bring them here?" The girl nodded.
"So, Aomine's here." Kagami was arm wrestling with Yuki at that time, who was losing badly. "Taiga! I give up, I give up!" He slammed his free hand on the table and when the Light let go, he stood up and walked towards Seiji, who sighed and took the first aid kit.
"Oi, Kagami!" Aomine marched in the room and to Kagami, pulling him by his collar. "What the fuck was that? You, singing with Tetsu? Don't fuck with me!"
"Aomine Daiki." Seiji sharply called, his action of wrapping a bandage on Yuki's arm stopping immediately. "If you don't let him go this instant, I will call security." Aomine didn't know what was happening, but the tone Seiji had sounded just like how his mother would say; and it wasn't a good thing. The atmosphere inside the room was absolutely tense. He reluctantly released him and at that moment, the door opened again.
"What a ruckus. Could you please be more quiet?" Tetsuya frowned, and then noticed there were other people in the room. He narrowed his eyes at them, as if he knew who they were; then it dawned on him. "Ah! It's the Generation of Miracles!" He turned to his twin, who nodded. "The so-called prodigies from eight years ago, who never lost a single match against any school."
Suddenly, his arms fell to his side, and he turned to look at them with an unamused expression. "..How boring." He murmured, making his way inside the room. "You would've expected more from them when you first meet them. But look at you; every single one of you are frozen stiff. Well, I can't blame you; you're looking at the guy who you thought was dead for eight years."
Suddenly, Aomine went to stand in front of him. Tetsuya honestly was anticipating what the soon-to-be-policeman was going to do; punch him? Scream? What he didn't expect was for him to kneel down in front of him; "I'm sorry."
"Excuse me?" Tetsuya stared at him, before hearing the exact same words; "I'm sorry."
"For what? For killing me?"
Aomine tensed. "Tetsu-"
"I'm not Tetsuya. He's dead now; I'm Minoru."
"But I guess I could forgive you." He hummed, crossing his arms and a finger tapping his chin. "On one condition."He added, looking at the kneeling male from the corner of his eyes. "If you want to be forgiven, write me a song. All of you. Write me a song that you think could save 'Tetsuya'."
Well then. This chapter was long lmfao.
