Finished the event (No spoilers)

I finished the Arknights event and ugh, damn, so many snacks. Ling? Nian and Dusk showing up again? Du Yaoyue? Even more than that, you got Mr. Lee, Kroos with the glow-up, Liang Xun actively blue balling my koi boi, and Taihe being a mountain that could probably clap cheeks with his balls.  Oh, I really liked the story too though, but that would be saved for a post flagged as a spoiler.

Okay, without giving any spoilers on Monkie Kid Season 4 I’m going to warn my readers that I wont be able to write Season 4 into the series as I was hoping to. Again, I wont go into details and those who have seen the show might be able to see why I can’t and those who haven’t watch it yet will probably understand why. That being said I have figured out a way to use the ideas I got from Season 4 into another part. It’ll be a lot different than Season 4 and be much closer to Journey to the West rather than Monkie Kid but I’ve added so much Journey to the West elements so far what’s a bit more, y’know? Now, before I even start working on any big project I will admit that I’m working on a couple of oneshots to once again build up to the next part when I write it. That being said a wheel of names has helped me take some of the names of my commenters on the series to help me further these oneshots along.

I will explain more of this when I actually get there but hopefully this helps you guys get excited for the next part no matter how big or small

Calling all cinephiles! 🎥 We've survived the epic sagas of both #JohnWick and #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy this year, and it's safe to say, 2023 was one for the books!

Our favorite dog-loving assassin, John Wick, graced the big screen again and Keanu Reeves's performance did not disappoint. Every shot fired and punch thrown in the name of vengeance had us holding our breath. From the first 'coin' to the last bullet, it was a spectacle that lived up to its neo-noir aesthetic. The thrilling conclusion was nothing short of a masterpiece, a fitting end to the saga of the feared 'Baba Yaga'.

On the flip side, we ventured into the cosmos with our beloved band of misfits - the Guardians of the Galaxy. The interstellar adventure served up a hearty helping of laughter, tears, and edge-of-your-seat action. The finale reminded us that chosen families and friendships could indeed be the most powerful force in the universe. Marvel did an incredible job at crafting a story that was as heartwarming as it was heroic.

[#NOSPOILERS] HIT: The Second Case (2022) Directed by Sailesh Kolanu I watched both the "HIT" movies back to back last weekend and enjoyed them a lot! I had not seen "HIT: The First Case" when it was released a couple of years ago. The second movie was released in theatres last Friday and once I booked tickets for it (watched during @shyamla.e's visit to Hyderabad), I watched the first one on Prime (I've not watched the Hindi remake which is on Netflix). I liked the first movie a lot, it was always engaging and fast paced. The movie kept throwing a lot of information at the audience which kind of kept you alongside the protagonist in trying to solve the mystery, and it did a very good job of making the events seem convincing while still making it a commercial thriller. The same comments would apply for the sequel too! I see what the director is doing with the series, each movie is set in the same universe with overlapping characters but the lead in each movie would be different. We had Vishwak Sen as the protagonist Vikram Rudraraju in the first one set in Hyderabad, here it's Adivi Sesh as Krishna Dev (KD) in a story set in Vizag. In "The Second Case" KD and team are trying to track down a serial killer who has killed women and dismembered their bodies. The movie was efficient like the first, it wasted no time, the acting and filmmaking were nicely done. I really enjoyed it, looking forward to "The Third Case" now! This movie has an "A" rating so it allows for more violence and gore though I felt they used it in a limited but effective way. I spotted a shot of teeth in the end credits of the first film which didn't figure in that film's plot at all, it is a plot point here. Spotted the director in a couple of places as the owner of a bar. I drew Adivi Sesh as KD and his dog Max from the movie. The drawing was done with 0.5 mm 4B mechanical pencil on A6 Campap sketchbook.
