My thoughts today:

Bbls are just the the fashion cycle of big butts and instead of a hoop skirt or bustle we collectively forgot how to make our clothes match a silhouette and instead are resorting to surgeries to make our bodies match

(this is of course because diets, gyms, and surgeries are more profitable than well tailored clothing)

My stance on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

Aid needs to be allowed in and properly distributed. No one should not be starving nor deprived of medical necessities. That falls on both the Israeli and the Palestinian governing bodies. The Israeli government might be allowing more aid in but it’s not enough. Aid might be getting in but the people under the Palestinian governing bodies are still forced to pay for the aid that should be free.

No one should be held captive in any capacity. Whether it’s the October 7 hostages, Palestinians in Israeli detention centers. Nobody.

No one should be considered anything other than a human being. Whether their actions are good or bad. No one is subhuman.

This is not an “Either you’re with us or against us conflict.” No one should be blinding devoted to any governing body’s actions. This is not a sports game; these are human lives.

If you are going to reblog something, make sure you research it. This is a war and wars are notorious for propaganda from both sides. You are not helping people by separating “bad” and “good” Jews; you are just looking for a group that you can treat badly. You are not helping by reblogging that the MREs are expired (MREs don’t expire; an inspector must deemthem unsafe.); you are spreading false information that can harm Palestinians.

The above is non negotiable. I am willing to discuss anything else.

So I found this phrase in an argument between two or three or five Jewish people online and...

I can’t figure out what it means. I tried googling it and searching for translator apps/dictionaries, but...no dice.  From my research, I THINK it means “go shit in the ocean” but I honestly can’t tell. Judging by the context it was in, it sounds like a very vulgar phrase, and probably sexual.  Could someone pls explain what gay kocken offen yam means?  (Also, pls don’t laugh at me in the notes if it turns out to involve the word ‘fuck’ or ‘mother fucker’ or is basically ‘suck my dick’.)

Because I'm only seeing other Jews posting about this, non-Jews I need you to be aware that for the past month or two there has been a wave of bomb threats and swattings at synagogues all across the US. They usually do it when services are being livestreamed. I haven't seen a single non-Jew talking about this. High holidays are coming up in a few weeks, which is when most attacks happen against our communities. We're worried, and we need people to know what's happening to us.
