Dragons Keep, Riften Reborn

After the war is won and Ulfric is dead, there is the Moot. As predicted, Elisif becomes the new High Queen of Skyrim. Queen Elisif has no idea how to make a battle work but turns out she's wildly loved by the people. Even ex stormcloaks begrudingly ammit that at least she has good intentions, I can't deny that

One of the first projects of Queen Elisif is Dragon Keep, a giant orphanage in Riften where once Hronorall Orphanage stood. The new orphanage is way larger and secured, providing at all the war orphans (which are defintely more than the dozen or so kids we see in game that's a nation we're talking about) a refuge and the chance to be adopted. The Orphanage will also teach the childrens to read, write and basic math and provide occasions to the best brains despite the humble origins. Costance Michel is still there but with the way bigger dimensions of the orphanage she's only assigned to help the original section of the building -the childrens who were under Grelod abuse-

The reborn Thieves Guild, who has returned to the ideals of the Grey Fox under Guildmaster Fa'Ir, protects the orphanage from any corruption, while the Skyrim Legionaries who were recruited during the civil war and have taken the place of Jarl Laia city guard are prtecting the city and the orphange from any exterior danger.

Under Guildmaster and secret Penitus Oculatus agent and infiltrator Fa'Ir, the Thieves Guild becomes a weaponized shield against corruption. Oh they still steal... But their stealing is like the Oblivion times, which quickly gain the support of the population and control crime under a single group with standars on what is crime.

Of course, Jarl Maven Black-Briar is... Relieved and happy to see Riften returning to such fast. Her name is acclaimed as an example of virtue as the Jarl who wiped out corruption and protected the common people. And if this result was reached by being blackmailed by Oculatus agent Fa'Ir who made the guild more powerful than Maven and has some documents who could destroy her... Well that's not something that people has to know. Maven is still well liked and Jarl, she could have got a way worst ending.

Of course, Jarl Black Briar is more than happy of paying the creation of Dragons Keep orphanage with her personal money, as sign of good faith toward Riften and appreciation for the Empire.

Thank you, Jarl Maven! Truly the best leader Riften ever had!

Some Fa’Ir for everyone! Facing Maven and telling her to fuck off during the process to return the Thieves Guild to a people-sided organization (Thieves Guild fo Good Guys), killing a Thalmor agent without weapons (Fa’Ir fights unarmed) to free Thorald Grey-Mane, facing a wereskeever (what?!) under Goldenglow Estate and stealing a bag of gems from Maven that Maven stole from Bolli so that Bolli can sell the gems and use the money to help Riften as his habit!

Some Cute Things About Fa'Ir

-A khajiit in Skyrim is 99% of the time assumed to be a thief

-Doesn't help when the khajiit in question is a thief and a member of the Thieves Guild of Riften

-Good. It hides Fa'Ir true alliances

-Fa'Ir is an agent of the Penitus Oculatus installed in Skyrim with a mission

-Finding something, anything to blackmail Maven Black-Briar and assure the empire-chosen Jarl Of Riften will remember who put her on the jarldom

-Infiltrating in the Thieves Guild of Skyrim until it will be decided the guild can be useful to the Empire or has to be destroyed

-Sabotaging Stormcloak supporters of big importance and influence by robbing them (no killing allowed unless so ordered by superiors) and silence their voices

-Later on he will be tasked with using the Thieves Guild connection to the Dark Brotherood to find the ubication of their sanctuary, their password and destroy the assassin guild.

-Despite being in deep undercover -or maybe exactly for that reason- he starts to care about the Thieves Guild members. He's happy to become the new Guildmaster because it allows him to be sure his superiors will never decided to order the guild destruction

-He discovers proof of Maven giving up informations to the Thalmors during the great war who would ruin her and he -as guildmaster- forces her to calm down her buisness or those will go out and she will be dead.

-The Thieves Guild, with Maven now working for them and Mercer dead, returns to be an organization who profits by stealing but protects the people like in Oblivion, this time with the blessing of the imperial law

-He's a master alchemist and he trains his body all time because his entire fighting style is without any weapon but sneaking behind the enemy and killing him with martial arts or his poisoned claws

-He hates skooma and while he knows moon sugar has a cultural value to his people he's not personally too fond of it

-He adopts a child after the civil war from Dragon's Keep Orphanage

-He often fights bandits when out of thieves guild affairs as part of his special forces duty

-He marries Brinjolf

-He wish to see Elsewyer one day

RISE IN THE EAST

The Imperial Legion is moving to end the war, but the stormcloaks have still something on their side: a naval superiority. The East Empire Company, despite being more experienced, is harrassed by pirates, who instead leave the stormcloak allied private fleet of the Shatter-Shield Family pass as they want. Penitus Oculatus agent Fa’Ir,together with the dunmer mercenary Jenassa, tracks down the location of the pirates. When the fleet of Captain Adelaisa Vendicci reaches the island where the pirate hideout is located, is up to Fa’Ir to sneak inside the tower and assassinate the wizard Haldyn, boss of the Blood Horkers Pirates. Without Haldyn sorcery, the East Empire Company destroys with ease the pirates, estabilishing naval dominance again and cutting the comunications of the stormcloak navy in half.

Ey- gush about 🖊 Fa'lr

Can you beliebe I didn't realized I had this ask until now? Gosh.

ANYWAY some Fa'Ir facts coming asap to fix this mistake!

1) Fa'Ir father was a skooma addict -which is why he hates the thing- but Fa'Ir was saved by being adopted by an old imperial woman who was an ex blade. The woman survived the Thalmor epuration by changing her identity completely, serving in the Penitus Oculatus for a year and then retiring. Fa'Ir childood was often visited by his adoptive mother hiding people from the Thalmor or keeping contacts in the Penitus Oculatus despite being tecnically only a sweet old farmer lady

2) Fa'Ir once complained with his mother how some people when seeing him immedately covered their purses and how the stigma khajiiti=thief was depressing for him. His mom said that Fa'Ir should have been happy when people assumed the worst of him "let them cover their purses" she said "so they will not notice your true movements"

3) Fa'Ir wasn't forced to join the Oculatus but he was raised training his furtivity and martial arts in case the Thalmor should discover them. Later he joined the Oculatus by his own desire and his abilities allowed him to join easily.

4) Despite being tecnically there only to assure the Thieves Guild doesn't becomes a problem for the law, catch the dark brotherood and keep Maven on the leash, Fa'Ir growed an affection for the members of the guild.

5) After Grelod The Kind death, he forced the esteemed Jarl Maven to throw money at the orphanage.

6) Would probably adopt Aventus Aretino. A kid who's less than ten years old shouldn't be worshipping an evil assassin cult ffs

7) Despite being basically a large cat he loves dogs. He doesn't bring them around Skyrim because c'mon it's dangerous. But Meeko sleeps in the Thieves Guild next to the fire all he wants and all the thieves spoil the boss dog

8) Once catched the DB sanctuary, he will find Cicero and the Night Mother too after a chase (Penitus Oculatus Mod) buying some extra years of life to Titus Mede II (but Mede is gonna die anyway because it's part of the Beyond Skyim Cyrodiil plot)
