He just lay down again and cover himself with the blanket, he wants to go back where you are, where everything is perfect, he misses you so much. He started to cry again, he needs some time to recover before getting the streght to get out of the bed, as much as he wants to go where you are he still have things to do, he had promise to his friends and to himself that he will continue for the both

“It’s just annoying,” Ochako sighs, sinking into the bar dramatically. You laugh from the stool next to her, glancing down to your watch, the sudden wave of exhaustion making sense.

It’s 2:45am, after all.

The two of you are tucked away from prying eyes in a small cove on the far end of the beach. Waves wash languidly over your feet. Quiet, the sound is soothing, familiar as an old lullaby. All this led to her magnificent pink tail— a powerful thing, longer than her upper body, wide at the waist and narrow where it splits into a petal-shaped fluke that tapered into pale green like an azalea flower. Fins protrude either side of her hips, thin gossamer silk, fanning out and connecting along her flank to her wrists. They’re to catch the current. They help me float, she told you gleefully. They help me fly.

You laughed, Like a sugar glider.

What’s a sugar glider? she pouted.

Older now, her eyes are polished amber like the first rays of dawn and her tail reminds you of a bruising dusk. It darkens under your touch. Sun kissed, a sheen over her skin. You feel her soft chuff against your chin.

“What is it?” you murmur, knowing full well what she needs, lightly knocking your chin to her temple in a show of encouragement. Her breath is warm on your damp skin as she burrows deeper into your neck. “I can’t read your mind, y’know”.

Ochako’s teeth are dangerously sharp at your jugular but she’s careful, barely any pressure. Accompanied by the flustered whine building in her throat it is anything but threatening. Her fins flutter, tail flexing and betraying her emotions as it slaps the water, pinpricks of sea salt raining down on you.

“You weren’t here yesterday,” she says, as though that was the adequate answer, clutching at your waist and scooting closer. You take in a lungful of briney air, turning into her embrace. A smile works its way onto your face when your bodies align and she begins to squirm.

“Did you miss me?” you croon, combing your fingers through her hair, pulling away the thin seaweed strands tangled there. Her limbs tighten, an unforgiving vice around your back. You hear her tail sweep up through the sand and your legs part to make room, knee resting over her hip.

Her pout is obvious, pursed and jutted against your pulse point. “I’m sorry,” you tell her. Your apology does not come across as especially repentant given the teasing tone, just shy of condescending. “Tell me how to make it better”.

The quiet request barely reaches your ears, “…Kiss?”

Dipping into her space you press your lips to her temple. Ochako trills, eyes falling closed. She leans in as you leave another featherlight kiss on her eyelid, lashes fanning soft against your lips. The bridge of her nose wrinkles when you kiss the tip. Patience wearing thin her tailfin slaps the surface of the water. You laugh quietly, your own restlessness spiking when she chases your mouth.

Ochako reels you in. Closer, latching onto your shirt to anchor you at her side. Without restraint her claws tear into the fabric with ease. Fingers move to play with the delicate fins around her ears. You kiss her slow and purposeful, plucking the needy moan right from her throat. Your tongue slides over pointed teeth, nicking soft tissue, copper bursting across your palette.

The silken winged-fin from her hip to her wrist deepens in colour. Face flushed pink, eyelids open a fraction. Heat pulses through you, an electric feeling prickling the length of your spine as she gently sucks on your tongue. “Pretty girl,” you murmur, the sand sifting under your weight as she pants. She’ll be too lightheaded soon. “What am I going to do with you?”

Ochako mumbles something inaudible, body caught in a brief interlude. You wonder, absentmindedly, if she can hear a word you’re saying. Pupils dilating and fixed on your looming figure. Heat hems her scales and they glow in the eventide. She hums dumbly, gaze unwavering, as though her mind was abuzz with nothing but you.

“Stay,” cool where she encircles your wrist, halting your hand as it began to move, she looks up at you through dark lashes, pleading. After a blank moment she adds, “Longer”.

“Alright,” adjusting your position to cradle her on your chest, you cast a last look at the tide. There’s little time left before the current inevitably pulls you in—if Ochako doesn’t try to first. A day apart is a day too many.

“As long as you want”.

Just Come Home

Izuku Midoriya x reader

“I want you to come home. I want you to come back to me.” Izuku sobbed into to the phone. It was 10:30 at night, way past curfew. But that didn’t matter to Izuku, Shoto, Tsu, Ochako and Tenya. You had ran off two days ago after a fight with Tenya and Izuku. The fight was bad, it started off with Iida indirectly calling you lazy and Izuku agreeing. Of course that pissed you off because you knew how hard you worked to get into UA. And the fact that your boyfriend was agreeing with Tenya, made it 10 times harder to deal with. The argument had turned into a screaming match. Insults getting thrown at each other, you thought, no knew that the entire dorm room could hear you guys.

“ You wouldn’t have been able to get into UA with out my help!” Tenya shouted at you making you freeze. “What’s that supposed to mean?” You say, voice low and shakey. Izuku knowing that you were about to cry, stepped forward to comfort you. But you stepped back. Not wanting the comfort of anyone and just wanting to leave. “I had to push you so many times, it was like you didn’t have a passion for UA. It felt like you just wanted the fame and money from it all! I had to fight with you to stuff done. Like proper training.” Tenya yelled some more. This time Shoto stepped in and pushed Tenya back a bit to give you guys some space. “Fine, I’ll go.” You said turning on your heel and grabbing your coat walking out the door.

And here they were, sitting in Izuku’s room, trying to get ahold of you. Tsuyu and Ochako texting you non stop just trying to see if there was a sign of you out there. “What caused you guys to have such a brutal fight?” Tsuyu spoke up. The boys froze. They haven’t told the girls all the deal tails of the fight. Just saying it was over something stupid. Shoto was the one that spoke up first. “Tenya called Y/N lazy, and Midoriya agreed with him.” Shoto said looking at the two boys to see their reactions. Tenya turned away in embarrassment. He was going to defend himself but kept his mouth shut. Knowing there was nothing to defend. “We have to go out there, we can’t stay inside.” Ochako said getting up from the chair she was sitting on, putting her shoes on and grabbing her coat.

“Ochako you are not going outside it’s dangerous!” Tenya said to her as she pulled the door open to revel Aizawa. “I need you guys to come down to the living room. It’s about Y/N.” He said with a sour look on his face. Everyone turned to look at each other. Not wanting to waste any more time they followed Aizawa to the living room where the rest of the class was. They sat down but the room was filled with an eerie feeling. Something wasn’t right. Aizawa began to speak.

“As all of know, Y/N has been missing for the past two days. We searched high and low for her and finally we got a lead.” The room was quit wanting hear where their classmate, friend and significant other was. “Fat gum and Tamaki were sent to a break in at a café but when they showed up and started to look around, they found Y/N’s jacket and…..” He trailed off. He didn’t want to say it but he knew he had too. “And the jacket had blood on it. It was Y/N’s and Toga’s. We have sent out a search party for her, Toga and the rest of the League of Villians.” He paused to give the kids a minute or two to process the information.

“Is there a way to help out?” Mina asked. Aizawa looked at her and the rest of the class. “I need you guys to stay here and be safe. I don’t need more of you guys to go missing.” He looked around the room and he lingered at Izuku and the rest of them. He knew that Izuku would do anything to get you back. He also knew that no matter how many times he told that boy no. He would not listen to him. Izuku got up and went to his room the rest of his friend group following him. “You’re not going outside to find her, right?” Tsuyu said. It was in a tone that seemed like she was begging him to not leave. “What else am I supposed to do?” Izuku said looking at the group, waiting for an answer.

“We wait. Wait for Aizawa to update us on her. She can’t be that far from us.” Tenya said looking down at the ground. He knew this was his fault. His words were more of a comfort to him than to the others. “WAIT?!” Izuku shouted at him. The look on his face was one that he doesn’t show often. Rage. “Wait for what? When Aizawa says she was found dead?!” “Don’t say that Midoriya! She’s a strong person. She’s not one to give up.” Ochako said walking up to him putting a hand on his shoulder to comfort him. Izuku just started at the ground trying to come up with a plan.

Izuku was about to tell everyone the plan he made to get you back. But was interrupted by a knock on his door. The knock sounded desperate, like the person behind the door was pressed for time. Shoto rushed towards the door, opening it to reveal Mina. She was out of breath, her face showed a shocked expression. Izuku walked up to her knowing that whatever it was, it was for him. “What’s wrong?” He said waiting for her to catch her breath. His hands became more clammy the longer he waited. But he didn’t want to push her in case it was bad news, incase his worst nightmare was about to become a reality.

Mina finally caught her breath. She looked at Izuku, her voice barley above a whisper, but it was loud enough for the group to hear her. “They found her.”

Bakugou is very jealous and not in the funny cute way. Sure, it’s funny and cute the first couple times but after awhile it becomes repetitive. It’s often, and it can be exhausting. You may feel like he doesn’t trust you as well because of it, in reality he’s just scared of losing you but he can’t confront it properly.

Kirishima tries so hard to do everything for the both of you. It’s sweet how considerate and selfless he can be, but you just wish he would let you shoulder his burdens like how he shoulders yours. He’s your rock, (literally) but on a whole other level and he won’t ever let you return the favor. It sometimes feels like he doesn’t trust you. Maybe one day he will open up, since being honest is manly.

Kaminari doesn’t listen and he forgets a lot of things. He tries to listen, he really does. But he just can’t sometimes. Whether it be because he’s too busy admiring how attractive you are or because what you’re talking about is too goddamn boring, he can’t focus on the words coming out of your mouth. He may forget important things that he didn’t mean to forget and it comes across as him just not caring. He cares so much but he’s extremely forgetful, unfortunately.

Todoroki is perfect. The worst thing about being with him isn’t even him, it’s his father. Even after he redeemed himself, he’s very hard on you. He believes his son deserves only the best, the strongest. You have to deal with his father constantly, it’s extremely tiresome and the worst part is you have to keep it to yourself.

Dabi lies, a lot. Even when he starts being himself and becomes open and vulnerable, that takes a very long time and he has a terrible habit of lying to you. If you’re not a villain alongside him, you have no idea about his double life. Even if you are? He doesn’t tell you what he’s up to while he’s gone. He truly means well, behind the mask is a soft and caring man, in his own way. But through and through he’s a liar. Even you don’t know his true identity for the longest time.

Shigaraki… where do I even begin? He’s exhausting to deal with, he’s childish to a fault. When you argue he expects you to apologize and he doesn’t ever think he did anything wrong. He’s extremely insensitive, and it takes a huge fuckup for him to realize he did something wrong and even then is too embarrassed to apologize. When he’s mad he’s not against yelling at you and saying he’ll kill you (even though he doesn’t mean it). Through and through you’re dating a man child.

Toga is pretty perfect in a relationship, if you ignore the fact she’s crazy. She’s very obsessive and jealous, and would definitely kill anyone that she felt showed any romantic interest in you, even if you two were friends. Makes her sound like a yandere but.. yknow.. I guess she kinda is? Her obsessive nature makes her overbearing to be with at times and it can feel isolating.

Hawks is swarmed by fans constantly, and many fans can be flirtatious. He tries to make sure the public eye likes him, so he often flirts back so there’s no hard feelings. You know he doesn’t like those people at all, but it can still be frustrating to see him flirt with random people. On top of this, he probably keeps your relationship a secret. He does it to protect you, but you can’t help but feel like this relationship isn’t important to him.

Sero is practically perfect, however when he’s feeling a particular emotion he assumes things. If he were to get jealous, it’s rare, but when he is he assumes you don’t like him anymore. When he’s sad he assumes you think he’s a pathetic failure, and etc. once you talk to him about it though, he tries to understand that it’s just in his head. It’s hard not to act upon these feelings though.

Mina is just .. a bit much at times. She constantly wants to go out and will not understand you if you just wanna stay home and chill out for once. Mina likes to be out and about, so you will find she lacks the understanding of just wanting to relax. But honestly is that really that bad compared to the others.

Jirou is not the most open and vulnerable, as it’s very hard for her to be. She will open up if needed but you have to coax her into opening up. She won’t voice her affections, and tries her hardest to remain stoic despite the blush on her cheeks. It may feel like she doesn’t trust you at times, because she’s very open with momo. However, she just had a hard time because she likes you so much.

Ochako gets very insecure, which isn’t a bad thing or anything until you consider the fact that she gets insecure over very small things. She gets insecure if you don’t call her certain pet names that day or something else pretty small and she thinks the worst possible thing and tries to avoid you.

Momo doesn’t do it on purpose, but she may make you feel guilty since she constantly wants to do things for you and constantly wants to buy you things as well. She absolutely refuses to let you do things for her at all, it’s only cause she loves you though, of course. But sometimes she makes you feel like she’s infantilizing you.

Monoma is just exhausting in general, but you kinda know what you signed up for when you started dating him. Due to his inferiority complex, he gets jealous very often. He tries not to resort to his.. usual self.. especially since he tries to act different when you’re around but sometimes he can’t help but gossip and shit talk people he’s jealous of, even if they’re close to you. It just gets exhausting to constantly hear about people you’re close to.

Shinsou is pretty much the perfect boyfriend so honestly the worst thing about dating him would probably be what people say about him and his quirk. It can be upsetting hearing people think of your boyfriend as a villain or somebody will villain potential, especially when you know him to be different and much more kind than what meets the surface.

Ever since you left Ochako’s parents house, your girlfriend hasn’t uttered a single word to you.

Though she offered voluntarily, to walk you down to the place where your car was parked before going home - she hasn’t said anything. Even when you attempt to make conversation, she’s given you a frowny look. Little short, unenthusiastic responses that don’t give you much to work off of.

And now she’s gone silent, biting the inside of her lip with an expression you can’t read. It’s making you nervous.

Tonight was the formal parent dinner with your girlfriends parents. And, in your opinion, you think it went extremely well. Her parents are what you’d imagined them to be. Hard-working, simple, genuine. The conversation was easy and he father worked the grill as you drank and ate.

It wasn’t the first time you’d met them, but this was the official introduction. You brought something homemade and your girlfriend seemed happy during said dinner. You were doing your best to be impressive and charming, working magic to try and sweep them off their feet.

Because you’ve always known how much she cares about her parents. You thought you were doing a good job. You were... pretty sure you were doing a good job.

But you can’t help but doubt from the way she’s all but avoiding you. You stop in your tracks, hands in your pockets. She stops when she notices you but doesn’t say anything.

“Baby,” You sigh, giving her a despairing look “What’s wrong?”

“What do you mean?”

You sigh again, stepping closer to her as she obviously avoids your gaze.

“C’mon. You’re not even looking at me. I don’t wanna go home when you’re like this.”

“I’m not like anything.” She says, defiant in a familiar way. You soften, stepping to her again before slowing reaching your hands out. She doesn’t immediately move from your touch, so you cup her jaw.

“Baby, please just tell me what happened, yeah? I thought dinner went well. Did I say something? Did I make ya mad?”

“No. That’s—It’s not—It’s not that,” She affirms. She grips the front of your jacket and you look at her in surprise “The dinner did go well.”

“So why’ve you been looking at me like you wanna toss me through a window? Hm?”

Your stupid joke makes her crack a smile, a fact that makes her more frustrated. She’s holding onto your lapel tighter this time, inching closer to you. She’s so cute like this, despite your concerns. You give her a minute, watching her turn whatever turmoil she’s experience in her head.

She looks up at you, all big brown eyes and annoyance before you feel her headbutt your chest lightly. Confused, you simply wait.

“It’s just—I like you.”

You’re lost. It must show on your face.

“MMf,” She wraps your arms around her waist, and you hug her without her asking. Her chin rests on your rib, looking up you “I was just thinking about how..nice it was. That you and my parents got along. It was like everything made sense.”

You rub her back soothingly, letting her talk. Affection bleeds out of you as you listening, humming so she can keep going.

“Even my dad likes you and he’s so protective of me. And my mom was blushing the whole time she talked to you, I mean seriously—she’s never like that. You went to the bathroom and she was practically gushing, it was so embarassing.”

You beam at her, laughing a little.

“And it just—I started thinking about it. About you. I really like you. My parents like you. It just felt so perfect.”

“You’re losing me, Princess.”

She frowns at you.

“I’m being serious!”

“So am I,” You reassure, running your hands up her back “I don’t see the issue.”

“The issue is—what if we break up? What if.. we have some big break-up and then you know, I move on. And I bring home someone and they’re not you. What if my parents don’t like them? Or my friends don’t? And what if they don’t make the same effort like you do. I don’t want that. It’s not gonna be the same, it’s—“

Before you know it, your girlfriend is weeping in your arms. She’s hardly a cry-baby but she’s sobbing. Half-way between endeared and concerned, you soothe her with a soft laugh.

“Stop laughing.”

“I’m not laughin’ at you baby, but you’re thinking way too hard about that. Way too hard.”

“I’m not,” She whines, rubbing her cheek against you “I’m being serious. I don’t wanna break up with you.”

“I’m not planning to.”

“But what about in the future.”

You smile.

“I can’t predict the future, sweet girl,” You coo, leaning down to press a kiss to her forehead “I’m not a psychic. Anything can happen, so I don’t know what’ll change. Maybe nothing, maybe everything.”

You pull back to cup her face in your hands, thumb wiping her tears,

“I know that I’d pick up no matter when you call. I know I’d steal the sun out of the sky if you asked me just one time.”

“What if the sun gets lonely. Or if I ask you for more just because.”

“Then I’ll go back and take the moon. I’ll even burn my hands on the stars so you can see them. Whatever you want, baby. I’m yours.”

“...I love you. Thanks for coming to dinner. ”

You kiss her soft, smiling against her mouth. “
