I missed Chrobin week sorry guys have a "winter" prompt anyway!
This was fun and hard and stupid I shouldn't have decided I was going to force myself to learn shading in a dang FIRELIT SCENE why do I torture myself
I love Chrobin very much, even though I can now confirm that yes Chrom's outfit is an absolute nightmare to draw. Why does Frederick let you out of the palace dressed like that? Why do you have so many random cuffs, onesie-boy? Also I stole some design elements from Legendary Chrom's outfit in FEH--I absolutely love the fur cloak and it seemed appropriately wintery for this scene.
Also also my endless war to force as much texture as possible into my photoshop work continues. I know I can get more crunchiness out of this program! Just absolutely trying to figuratively mash/smear a dry paintbrush into the crevices of my digital artwork. Blah.

Daniel can feel Michael's eyes on him. Insistent even though there's like, at least twenty cameras pointed in their direction. Or, Daniel's direction. Everyone wants a piece of him now he's back.
"Yeah, I'm happy to be driving," he says, for what must be the thirtieth time in just as many minutes. Ignores the prickle the creeps up his spine. "The break was good for me, but now- I'm ready."
He's more than ready. He's going to be fucking triumphant. Just needs Maxy to keep Checo eating his rubber for a few more races, and then he's going to get everything that was promised to him when he was twenty-five. A championship winning car. A real fight.
It feels closer, within just the stretch of his fingertips in a way it never did back then.
"Danny Ric is back, baby," he grins, and lets the clatter of camera clicks wash over him.
Afterwards, in the coridoor Michael corners him. Daniel glances over top of his shoulder, desperate for some sort of escape or excuse, but there's too many prying eyes to brush him off completely. Unless he wants some bullshit, speculative article being written about it.
"Hey," he says with a tight nod when Michael just puts a hand on his shoulder and doesn't say anything. Ignores all the early mornings spent panting into his yoga matt it reminds him of, Michael correcting his form.
He doesn't have time for small talk, or whatever this is. Who'd have thought, that even without being his trainer, Michael would still be able to wind up that tight coil of tension inside him.
"Are you really happy?" Michael asks eventually, when most of the room has cleared out.
And that's some fucking nerve coming from him.
"I don't know, Mikey," he says after a beat of disbelief. He brushes his hand away roughly and steps back. "Maybe if you picked up the phone once in the winter break, you'd know, huh?"
Michael's eyes dip to the floor, like he's ashamed. Good, Daniel thinks, viciously. Where the fuck where you when I needed you?
"Mate, come on," Michael tries anyway, though his voice is hardly louder than a mumble. "You know we were a little toxic by the end of last season."
Toxic. Like Daniel is another client looking for 'mental health coaching,' and not someone who used to ride his bike to the beach with Michael when they were 13. Daniel scoffs.
"Oh you mean when I started being shit and lost my job?" He asks with a hollow laugh. "When my whole life was falling apart? Yeah mate, sorry if I was a little less than gracious to you around that time."
You're being unfair, some traitourous niggle at the back of his brain tells him. Knows that 'less than gracious' doesn't even cover it, but- But fuck Michael. None of it stopped himself getting a cushy new job lined up, coming out on top while Daniel found himself fired at thirty-three.
Michael looks at him again, daring to look only halfway apologetic.
"I wasn't your punching bag," He says firmly, like he's already found his second wind. Like he can read Daniel's mind, and after years spent in each other's pockets, he probably can. Can smell cracks in Daniel's resolve from a mile away, like some blood sniffing shark.
I know you, Daniel finds himself wanting to yell, though it wouldn't even make any sense.
Not today. Daniel isn't that guy anymore.
"No, you were my friend," he says, giving the wall next to him two hard slaps with the palm of his hand. "But fuck me I guess, for needing you. Won't make that mistake again."

I wrote about an established relationship where character A wanted to give character B a gift. A asks B’s bff what to give him. Bff tells A to give B a rock. A proceeds to spend the day meticulously picking out a rock to give to B. A later presents this perfectly picked out rock to B, and B loves this little gift. This story oddly resonated with a lot of people in my old fandom lol. Moral of the story? People love rocks. Give your friends rocks. They will love you.
F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?
About a decade? I started watching Pokémon for as long as I can remember (still love it!), but I fell out of the fandom when my parents stopped paying for cable.

Zutara. Zuko and Katara were everything to me. Fire and water? Their antagonistic relationship? There was so much tension there. It just made sense to me.

Kiss Me - Sixpence None the Richer is how I envision Robert Coste and Nicholas’ mother’s relationship to be like in one of my unfinished pieces. An au where Nicholas doesn’t know who his father is and has a loving relationship with his mom.

Needing to make dinner but the jar of sauce won’t open so character A visits their neighbor character B and asks for help in opening the jar.
Character A is staring at character B while walking down the sidewalk and accidentally walks into a light pole. A scurries away in embarrassment while B finds that kinda cute.

Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.
I wouldn’t necessarily say that I’ve abandoned any fandoms, just outgrew them (show finished), left due to circumstances (no more cable or show on hiatus), or lack of inspiration to continue writing. It feels wrong to say “abandoned” because I still love these fandoms and would still go back to consume their content. I’m just not actively involved anymore.

The Leventis/Levantis twins (in my own personal interpretation of them). I have a sibling so I’ve mostly based their interactions on my own. The kind of relationship where you annoy each other but love each other fiercely.

I think that Seiji would own a dog.
Also!! Headcanon that Seiji runs warm and Nicholas has wonky blood circulation which leads to wearing tank tops and shorts in the winter but hoodies and sweatpants in the summer.
T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?
Seiji is a dog person.
U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.
Reese from Scarlet Hollow - I yearn for starving artists. And he likes horror movies? Score! He’s also a little shy but also very cute. 10/10 would romance again.
Sebastian from Stardew Valley - Quiet loner that enjoys tabletop games similar to D&D? And he rides a motorcycle? Brb swooning at his feet.
I can’t pick a favorite from Fence ;v; I love Nicholas but I also love Scott and Thomas and Sungchul and Nate aaaaaaaaa
V - Which character do you relate to most?
In Fence? Nate Spencer. I was originally going to say Nicholas but after further evaluation I realize that I am in fact Nate. The kind of person that brightens up the room but also tends to gravitate to one person in particular despite getting constantly ignored (Aiden sksks).
W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.
No happy ending. Hurt no comfort. Break-up fics.
X - A trope which you are almost certain to love in any fandom.

I’m surprised by the lack of rarepairs in Fence. There’s so much potential with the amount of characters that have been introduced so far, but I guess I can see why. Nichoji are just so throughly entwined with each other it’s almost impossible to envision them with anybody else. Other than that, I would gander that there’s more interest in the main ships than exploring newer characters and even newer relationships. (I aim to change that though, a new rarepair is on the horizon!! Hopefully by Valentine’s day 👀💘)
I’m also rather surprised by how active this fandom is despite the small size of it. It’s nice and cozy here though and I like that.
This fandom is actually making me want to try drawing again. Just speaking out to the void here lol. I was pretty decent at drawing chibis when I was younger. Blushing Nicholas here I come… ✍️♥️✨

Thank you for the ask! Here we go:
Favorite female character? Ilia Penny Pyrrha Ruby Nora(!!!!) Emerald Weiss and most of all… maria😔she’s so fucking funny i loved her energy v6. Further explanations, Ilia has an adorable design, great voice actor and decent enough representation. Nora’s timeskip design was unmatched and she’s very quotable, plus her personality reminds me of one of my close friends irl. Ruby’s struggles in V9 (until they fucked that up) really hit with me as I’d gone through something very similar, and Penny… Penny just makes me happy. What they did with her makes me angry, but Penny makes me smile. :D
Favorite male character? I got a couple but at the moment it’s tied by Sun and Roman. Sun has fun energy and Roman is himself and iconic. Others are: James is hot and so is the bad bird BF he got by being autistic. Mercury is cool for the 5 seconds of screentime he gets every volume now. Tyrian and Watts got impeccable swag and the 5 hour long make out scene between the two of them was very interesting. Adam is cathartic and fun as hell to write my little meow meow. Jaune is best when he’s just a little loser dork, and Ren is very pretty.
Favorite Volume? Surprise surprise, Volume 3. I fucking love tournament arcs. I. Love. Tournament. Arcs.
Favorite Episode? That whole Apathy Arc in V6!!! Great horror in my opinion. I wish they’d show off more creative Grimm like that again. And as a side note, V6 is just… the best looking volume.
Favorite cast member? If they count, Jeff and Casey!! SUCH good music.
Favorite ship? *cracks knuckles* Freezerburn, Catmeleon, Monochrome, Schne//ekos, Pussy Magnet Purrah, Greek fire, nuts and dolts, Bees Schnees, Khali, Spicecream, Seamonkeys, Emercury, If there’s one between Ilia and Ruby put it here, Ginger Snaps, Arctic Winter, Silver Lotus, *looks at writings on my palm* Snow pines, Ironqrow, James x Oz, Crimsun, Strawbana, Nuts and Volts, and Rosebird. To name a few. Some might not be my favorites, these are just ones I like/like in concept. :)
Character I’d die defending? Sienna fucking Khan. The whole White Fang, honestly. I do think protesting through violence against your oppressors is very swag and real actually. Plus she’s hot.
A character I can’t sympathize with? Uhhhhhh…… SALEM!!!!!!!!!! Cinder too ish but Salem mostly. Like, I feel a TINY bit bad, only because the gods are undeniably awful garbage horrible terrible. She still sucks though.
A character I grew to love? …Adam. I did not give a single shit about his decently attractive redhead ass until that reveal and his death in V6. He has become my blorbo; my skrunkly. My cringefail loser, my girly pop. Engrained within my brain like a silly silly worm. He’s fun to draw. Fun to write. REALLY fun to write. I can put him in so many situations. So many bittersweet, melancholic situations. And in so many outfits.
My Anti-otp? Ive got a couple.
Bumbl//Bee. Not my thing. Could have been, had they not continually tried making “Only disabled main character losing her arm” something “romantic” as well as paralleling said character to her partner’s… um… ex abuser? Hello?

Frostbite. This one is actually one of my least favorite ships, as it is essentially a pairing between the ex-racist ex-heiress of a huge company to the in universe minority said company enslaved and branded while he was a child. Plus, again. Fuck. Abusive. Ships.

What are some of your favorite video games?
I've been gaming since the early 90s and I'm kind of passionate about video games, so this is going to be long! :D I think my current #1 favorite and most replayed game is Alien Isolation. It's a sequel to the first Alien movie where you play as Ripley's daughter Amanda, and it does an incredible job capturing the look and overall atmosphere of the movie. Also one of the scariest and hardest games I've ever played and one of the few games where I've achieved the Platinum Trophy, which I'm really proud of.
Another game I'm constantly playing since 2020 is The Long Dark. It's a survival game set in a remote island in Canada during a harsh winter and your aim is to, well, stay alive. It's not an easy game, but there's something incredibly meditative and calming about sitting by a cosy fire and listening to the blizzard outside. Another survival game I love is the first Subnautica. I still don't know if that game cured my thalassaphobia or if it made it worse...
I also love the Final Fantasy series. I've been playing it since FF7 and look forward to owning a PS5 so I can play the new one. FF8 was actually my first fandom and the fandom that taught me all about shipping and OTPs.
Another game series I like is Assassin's Creed. The Ezio trilogy has an amazing story and a protagonist and I really wish they'd remake it for current gen consoles. I also love AC Black Flag and AC Odyssey, and the protagonists Edward and Kassandra are among my favorite game protagonists ever. AC Valhalla is not much of an AC game, but it's an incredible Viking/Norse mythology simulator.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game that left a lasting impact on me and has the best written and acted game protagonist ever, in my opinion, but it's also a game that I don't think I'll ever be able to replay all the way to the end.
I was more into the Silent Hill franchise back when the SH vs RE internet battles were at their peak, and I still love the first three SH games, but I've really fallen in love with the Resident Evil franchise in recent years. The original games were always a little too challenging and frustrating for me with their tank controls and intense inventory management, but I've loved every modern RE game since RE7.
Another game I've replayed countless times is the first BioShock. The story is incredible (avoid spoilers if you can!) and it has one of the most beautiful and atmospheric game worlds ever created. I also like the two sequels, but nothing beats the underwater city of Rapture from the first game.
Days Gone is my favorite post-apocalyptic zombie game, along with the Last of Us games. Horizon Zero Dawn and the sequel are both excellent and I'm actually planning to replay them this winter.
This has already gotten super long, but I want to end this with a shoutout to the original Medal of Honor and Spyro games, which used to be some of my favorite PS1 era games, the Monkey Island franchise and other old-school LucasArts games, Far Cry 5, the Uncharted trilogy, the Mass Effect trilogy and the Dishonored trilogy and Prey, which is from the same studio as Dishonored. And the new Tomb Raider trilogy and the modern era Wolfenstein games are also a lot of fun!

1)Honestly Erin and Hector prefer caramel.
2)Hector like to take walks in winter but Erin likes to stay in and read while sitting next to the fire.
3)I think Hector would be the one who’d go outside with just a regular t-shirt,while Erin is going out with a fluffy jacket.
6)Id say no only because they both prep for Halloween differently. Hector is the kind of person who’d just throw on something black and were a mask or paint his face all last minute. While I feel like Erin would prep like two weeks before the holiday just so her costume looks flawless✨.
8) I feel like they’d make their family bring extra food and then they’d take care of like three to four main dishes including whatever bird they’re gonna eat. So that way everyone pitches in.

11) I feel like Erin would miss summer cuz of bullfighting season. But Hector I feel likes the cold better.

ooo I don't mind at all! I love these too.
5: Who offers the other one their jacket?
I think Carol has a good bit of chivalry in her, so she'd do so proudly, and Daisy would accept, but insist they go inside and cuddle by the fire. Secretly Carol loves when her jacket smells of Daisy's perfume. Makes it extra comforting.
For Doctor and Rose, he'd obviously do it most often, (often because he'd tell her he was taking her to a warm place and then the TARDIS would take them somewhere she hadn't dressed for) but there have also been plenty of times where she'd have to bring him a coat when he gets working on something outside too late and gets chilly or share her blanket when he insists he is fine but she knows he is just being stubborn.
10: What sort of seasonal treats does your OTP like to eat?
I have a fic where Daisy and Carol decorate gingerbread women, which I think is very cute. Maybe this year I'll have them bake something new... hmmm
For Doctor and Rose, I bet they find a Christmas planet with the best peppermint bark in the universe. Not too sweet, a good balance between the chocolate and the candy cane crushed on top.
15: Which one gets more excited over the first snow of winter?
I can't pick. lol I think both Daisy and Carol and Doctor and Rose would probably all be complete children about it. Maybe I'll play with it in Daisy x Carol AUs where one has to overcome a tragic memory or just general distaste for it and the other shows them wonder and beauty again, but my Doctor x Rose fics and Daisy x Carol fics so far have them enamored with it. (Though, spoiler alert: less so in the current AU, simply for blizzard quantity/logistics. There's your teaser! haha)

Zuko of course for the ship ask, and a RWBY team member of your choosing
Prince Zuko!
My NOTP: Zutara, Azula x Zuko. The former for the fact that the fandom shipped them even when Zuko and Katara were enemies. The latter for the fact that it's incest.
My BRTOP: Either Zuko and Aang or Zuko and Sokka. They play off each other well.
My OTP: Welp. I'm a Maiko (Mai x Zuko) already. So, the canon for me. Yus.
My second choice pairing: Hm. For Zuko? I haven't given it much thought, but I guess that girl Iroh tried setting him up with in the Tales of Ba Sing Se. That or Toph.
My Fluffy pairing: Zuko and Ty Lee. Don't ask me why, I have no idea.
My angsty pairing: Oof. Hm. Who would make for good angst...? Jet and Zuko, I guess? Both people hurt deep by the Fire Nation.
Favorite Poly ship: Zuko, Aang, Toph, and Sokka. The gang getting in trouble together. That or Zuko, Mai and Ty Lee. Because again, trouble would be gotten up to a lot.
Weirdest Pairing: Zuko and his honor, Zuko and tea. Not entirely sure if any other Zuko pairing exists that's weird.

Well, a RWBY character. Hard to pick. I'll go with my current Team RWBY Favorite: The Ice Queen, Weiss Schnee~
My NOTP: Weiss and her family, Weiss and Adam, Weiss and Cardin. Weiss and any of the adults in general. I'd honestly also say Weiss and Jaune.
My BRTOP: Weiss and Jaune, ironically. I love that these two are now great friends. Teams RBY and JNPR likewise.
My OTP: WhiteRose. Hey, the Bees already dominate my mind since Volume 2 and Weiss and Ruby need something. Preferably each other if Rose Garden doesn't come to pass.
My second choice: Freezer Burn, followed by Schneekos. With Timefreezer coming in at a close third.
My fluffy pairing: For Weiss? Hm. WhiteRose is already fluff. But to get down to it, I suppose I'm partial to either Bat Schnee (Batman and Weiss from the JLA crossover, provided Bruce is still his younger self) or Schneekos, or Frosen Steel.
My angsty pairing: Oh boy. For Weiss? Snowflake in the Rough (Weiss and Emerald), Shneekos post V3, and any Penny ship post V3 and V8.
Poly Ship: Bees Schnees and Frosen Steel. Long suffering Weiss, my beloved.
Weirdest Pairing: Ones that I ship? That's an odd question. Hm. If BruWeiss doesn't count...hm. There's a crossover ship called Fire & Ice which is Weiss and Shoto Todoroki from MHA, but in RWBY...hm. Only one I can think of in RWBY that's weird that I'd ship is either Weisscream (Weiss and Neo), Neapolitan Shakes (Neo, Weiss, and Emerald), Newspaper (Weiss, Blake, and Ruby) or Winter Greenhouse (Weiss, Ruby, Blake, Nora, and Penny)
All of that being said, it depends upon on the writing of course. The NOTP's are all ones I won't ship no matter how good the writing is. So...yeah. Hope that works?

Who is the most physically affectionate?
They both are. They're the couple who is always found holding hands or snuggling up close to each other. Something would be terribly wrong if they weren't touching in some way or another.
2. Who has the most nightmares and how do they deal with them?
They both have nightmares but out of the two of them Jayden has the more extreme nightmares. They're guilt driven. He dreams about how he was the cause of Jayden ever meeting Jasper. He blames himself for bringing Jasper into their lives. Of being the reason why Evan left and got involved with Jasper.
Evan often hears Jayden crying out in his dreams. A lot of times Jayden starts sobbing and repeating how sorry he was for letting Jasper hurt Evan. Evan usually just holds him or places soft kisses on Jayden's forehead repeating that he loves him and that they didn't have to worry about Jasper anymore. If the nightmare is really bad Evan has no choice but to wake Jayden up and they spend the rest of the night talking and holding each other.
3. Who steals the blankets?
Evan steals the blankets which is why Jayden has a reserve blanket next to the bed. So when he wakes up cold he just reaches down for that blanket and he leaves Evan and his cozy nest of blankets alone.
4. Who gets cold the easiest?
Evan doesn't like the cold or winter for that matter. It holds some very bad memories for him. For all that Christmas is still his favorite holiday and he likes to be surrounded by family. Jayden always makes sure the house is decorated and there's always a bright cheery fire blazing in the fireplace.
5. Who pays for the food the most, when they go out?
Jayden usually pays when they go out.
6. Do they enjoy dancing?
They do. It's not something to can do very often anymore. When Jayden is having a good day they can sometimes be seen dancing together in the kitchen.
7. Do they ever trade clothes?
Not often. Sometimes Jayden will wear one of Evan's sweatshirts if he gets cold or something. Jayden is a quite a bit smaller and shorter than Evan is so trading clothes don't usually happen not to mention that Jayden prefers more fitted clothes and Evan likes more loose fitting comfy clothes.
8. Do they ever go swimming together?
Evan is thinking about talking Jayden into putting in a pool as that's one of the few physical activities that Jayden is able to do without too much pain. They can both swim and it'd be something they could do together.
9. Do they ever cook together?
They love cooking as a family; especially baking. They do a lot of baking together during the holidays.
10. Do they give each other nicknames?
They don't have cute little nicknames for each other. They use the more common sweetie, honey, etc. Sometimes Evan shorten Jayden's name to Jay but that's about it.

Winter was not Cliff’s favorite season – truth be told it was probably his least favorite season, but he tried not to dwell too much on how much he disliked it, because that only made Winter seem even worse. Still, it had never been an easy season for him to get through, for a number of reasons. And ever since his little… accident a couple years ago, the cold of winter seemed to hit him even harder.
Doctor Trent had mentioned that sensitivity to cold was a common for people who had suffered hypothermia, like he had. That didn’t make it any better. Sure, Cliff could afford warmer clothing these days, and he had a warm home to always come back to, but there were just some days, when the snow fell and the icy wind blew, that a chill settled into Cliff’s bones and stubbornly refused to leave.
Today was one such day, and Cliff was happy it was his day off, so he didn’t have to even think about leaving the house. A blizzard was forecasted to come in later this evening, and already the snow was beginning to fall thickly.
Cliff did everything he could to keep the house warm and cozy, keeping the fire well fed, baking some fresh bread to enjoy with hearty soup for dinner, kept the kettle nice and hot. But despite the warm sweater and thick woolen socks, and a nice mug of his favorite tea, he just couldn’t quite shake a lingering chill.
Not until Claire came back from completing her chores for the day, shaking snow from her coat and stamping it from her boots at the front door. Here cheeks were red, but she seemed positively thrilled when she announced, “It’s really starting to come down out there.” Claire loved winter.
She walked over to the couch and leaned over the back, giving Cliff a peck on the cheek. She smirked at him, bundled up under a blanket. “Cold today?”
“A little.”
Claire rounded the couch, and settled in next to him, rubbing some warmth back into her hands. Even still, her fingers felt icy against Cliff’s skin as she snaked them under the blanket to pull it over her as well. Without speaking, they settled in against each other, rearranging themselves until Claire had Cliff resting against her chest and her arms held them together.
They turned their attention to the evening news and weather report.
Claire squeezed him gently, holding Cliff in her arms, and he slowly began to feel that stubborn chill in his bones thaw. Winter might not be his favorite season, but it certainly came with its perks. Cuddling like this just couldn’t happen in the sticky heat of summer.

5. Describe their cozy night in.
Nora & Trys: Nothing short of a mess. They're simultaneously playing a board game while watching reality TV. The oven continues to beep. However, it is very warm inside, with continuously-filled glasses of either mulled wine, Coca Cola or coffee.
Artura & Gwen: Reading a book together by the fireplace. Artura would usually read the story out loud, while Guinevere either used her magic to have a pair of needles knit by themselves or feed the fire with wood by tossing at it and kind of making a game out of it.
8.What happens if one of them gets sick?
Nora & Trys: Organised like a cavalry arrangement lol. One's constantly urging the other to not get out of bed, but the other does anyway. Queuing up at their pharmacy to ensure the medicine cabinet is full. It's D-Day for them all. 28 Days Later Part Two. However as their relationship progresses, they are less worried about it and ensures the sick person gets the timely help they need. Keyword: Timely. If there is so much so as a tiny cough, you best believe Nora is pulling out her book of recipes and concocting up a homemade medicine.
Artura & Gwen: Chaos. Just utter chaos. It's just a rough time to be the other person lol. Taking into account the historics, it is always a nerving experience to see someone fall sick. It isn't over until the doctors are called and the medicine is all prepared. However, they are a lot more calmer after the diagnosis is done.
30.Your OTP gets to pick out each other’s outfits; what is each wearing?
Nora & Trys: Whatever the other deems comfortable. Nora would insist Trystan wear more layers in the winter, because he's *that* person wearing Bermuda shorts and Birkenstocks when it is in the negatives outside. Trystan would insist Nora accessorize more, whether be it with a belt that has a neat design across the strap or maybe pick out a single earring that's within her comfort zone, but also different compared to what she normally wears.
Artura & Gwen: Artura would pick out this nice, elaborate fit - January in Camelot is no laughing matter. A hood is a must if they are stepping outside. She picks out a gown for her that kind of has a personal relevance to them. Something that doesn't make a Monday mundane; something that makes Guinevere feel good in her own skin. Guinevere unfortunately is at the far end of the fashion spectrum - which means functionality over pizzazz (the amount of times she'd accidentally conjured up a fire and burned her fabric is more than enough to count) and a good queen of Camelot would require something that is versatile and isn't just this long piece of fabric that is such a hazard whilst riding on horses.
Holsters are important - even though Artura's the "wait, I can fit everything inside my pocket" sapphic. Somehting with pockets for weaponry for grab-and-go options. Gauntlets. Gwen's literally the person who would fuss over you for being cold, rugged and skinny and has that motherly instinct but ONLY towards ensuring you are 100% prepared even to like, for instance, go to a shop (in modern times and now you have 10,000 tote bags and 80,000 cardboard boxes in the trunk of your car).
Okay I am rambling lol, but I just love talking about clothes in Arthurian times. I hate that in canon, we only got a bunch of dresses and not badass bangers like these:

I just hate that all the beautiful screens that my mutuals have made for me in the past for Yume are of a ship I now cringe at... that’s the biggest regret that I went for a ship that was popular and what I thought people wanted to see over what truly made me happy.

“Baby, wake up.” Ransom grinned when you growled at him before rolling over and burying your face in the pillow, nibbling on your ear until he heard you let out a low curse as he curled his body around yours. “Come on, I wanna show you something.”
“What time is it?” You opened your eyes reluctantly and reached for your phone, scowling when you got a look at the clock and whining when he just kept kissing over your neck and jaw and made it very hard for you to fall back into the deep sleep you had been enjoying. “Seven AM? If you woke me up this early just to show me your dick, I’m gonna be pissed.”
“I mean, my dick is always worth seeing, that’s not why I woke you up though.” He flipped you onto your back and hummed softly when he pressed his lips over yours, nuzzling your nose with his while you kept grumbling with annoyance. “It snowed last night.”
“It’s Massachusetts in winter, that’s what it does.” You sighed when he wrapped his arms around you and nipped at your throat, your legs winding around his hips instinctively as he kept bringing you closer to full consciousness.
“I know, but it’s beautiful, and I thought maybe you’d want to take the furry idiots out for a walk with me.” He sat up slowly and pulled you with him, cooing into your ear when you groaned and stayed tightly wrapped around him as he walked towards the closet. “Don’t worry, I’ll let you have some caffeine first. You’re such a grinch in the morning.”
“Ugh fine.” You let him set you on the dresser and press a kiss to your forehead before he moved to grab you some clothes, rubbing your eyes and yawning as you fought a smile while you watched the dog bounce around after hearing Ransom say walk. “You’re lucky you’re all so damn adorable or I wouldn’t put up with this shit on a weekend.”
Turns out, the cat was not a fan of the snow, taking three steps out the front door then turning around and screaming at you before running back inside as the dog tried to coax her out to play. She refused to move, though, crawling into the tightest corner of her cat tree and grumbling at you when you peeked in at her to maybe put her in the chest carrier.
So it was just you and the dog and the boy toy walking through the fresh fallen snow, Ransom’s arm wrapped tightly around your waist as the two of you huddled together for warmth while the dog pranced around happily. Even though you had been cranky when you woke up, you were in a good mood now, smiling when Ransom pressed his lips to your temple as you strolled slowly through the woods. You didn’t feel the need to talk at all, your breath mingling in a warm fog in the air as the two of you just enjoyed each other’s company and the calm silence of the fresh snow.
It was surprising that neither of you were feeling the chill much but the time you had looped back to the house an hour later, but you were so wrapped up and lost in each other, you couldn’t feel anything except warm. Ransom beamed at you when you stopped under the large maple tree, rubbing his chilled nose over yours and holding you close to his chest as he breathed deeply.
“What d’you say we light a fire and drink some eggnog?” Ransom squeezed you a little tighter and pecked at your lips when you hummed softly into his mouth. “We’ve got that special bourbon Ari got us, wanna snuggle you some.”
“You are the sappiest of all the saps.” You grinned when he pressed his lips to your forehead. “Fine softie, let’s find the dog and then cuddle as much as you want. Fionn!”
You separated reluctantly and started calling for your dopey golden as you wandered around the yard, keeping an eye on each other and for the furry dumbass. But you couldn’t stop watching Ransom, he looked so good with his bright eyes and his cheeks and nose flushed red from the cold air. And when he got all cute and domestic like this, you just wanted to wreck the man. You were so in love with him, it was stupid.
He took his eyes off you for a second, and you couldn’t help it. Ransom shouted when the snowball collided with the back of his head, whipping around and glaring at you while you just gave him an innocent shrug.
“Don’t you start something you can’t finish.” He shook his head when you bent to scoop up more snow, edging away from you slowly while you grinned wickedly at him. “I’m not gonna go easy on you.”
“Good.” You packed the snow together as Ransom moved to grab his own snowball. “I’ll still kick your ass.”
You hit him square in the chest before he even finished packing, running away from him with a laugh and dodging his attempt to hit you as he let out a curse. Somehow he always forgot how quick you were, lobbing snowball after snowball at you and only hitting you a few times while you just kept pelting him over and over.
“Goddamn it.” He huffed when you hit him in the shoulder again, growling when his next shot just glanced off your side and you nailed him in the stomach. “How are you always so good at this shit?””
“You always forget about my sporty days.” You hit him again and yelped when he managed to get you in the hip. “Softball.”
“That’s right, you were such a cute little jock, ow!” He scowled at you when you nailed him in the side of the head, trying and failing to hit you in the back when you ran away from him. “Shortstop, right?”
“That’s right, ha!” You laughed when you caught him in the chest again, the snow spraying him in the face and making him wince. “Didn’t you play baseball? You suck at this.”
“I don’t… damn it!” You hit him again and he huffed with frustration. “That’s it!”
He grumbled to himself as he packed an extra large snowball, managing to dodge the few you heaved at him with a triumphant smirk. The dog finally trotting back into the yard distracted you enough to give him the opportunity to get you good, hitting you square in the face and letting out a victorious whoop. At least until you clutched your nose and bent over in pain.
“Ow, fuck!” Your cry had Ransom rushing towards you in a panic, concern written all over his face.
“Baby, shit!” He reached out and gripped your shoulders when he reached you, pulling you close when you just let out a small whimper of pain and cursing himself. “I’m so sorry, are you ok?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.” You pulled your hand away from your face and grinned at him. “I’m great.”
He didn’t have a chance to ask what happened before you were pulling a snowball from behind your back and shoving it down the front of his pants with glee, cackling when you dodged out of his grip and ran away from him.
“You bitch! It’s in my underwear!” He sprinted after you and tried to fight the almost painful cold that was spreading through his crotch, trying to act mad but you were so damn cute when you got all playful like this, he couldn’t really. “Get back here!”
It was only a minute or so before he caught you, picking you up and throwing you into a snowbank as you let out a delighted shriek. He only had a moment to enjoy his victory though, the dog bounding up to him and ignoring his admonishments to pounce on him and drive him into the same snow drift as he wagged his tail happily and you laughed at him.
“Ok, let’s get inside and dry off.” You helped him out of the snow bank and giggled when he shook snow all over you. “Told you I’d kick your ass.”
“That was mostly the dog.” Ransom grinned at you as he followed you inside, letting the dog into the mud room then helping you start to pull off your layers with a kiss to the forehead.
“Whatever you need to tell yourself.” You turned around and hummed when he wound his arms around you and dragged off your coat. “Don’t get any ideas, I’m freezing.”
“Yeah, I’m freezing too.” He bit your ear until you shoved him off with a grin. “Know part of you that’s gonna be nice and warm and wet, though.”
“No, Hugh, no!!” You finally got down to your long underwear and ran away from him with a laugh as he growled and barked playfully at you. “Keep your popsicle dick away from my vagina!”
