Also, this isn't a request (just something I imagined): Izuku who absolutely loves the reader. One day, he randomly brings them a gift. As appreciation for his gifts, reader kisses Izuku all over his face.

Very glad to hear you enjoyed the results! I was somewhat nervous it’d be a hit or miss because I had never written anything BNHA related, but I had a lot of fun. Turns out writing for Deku is a surprisingly pleasant and cozy experience. So I certainly don’t mind expanding on your idea if that’s alright with you! :)

BNHA Headcanons: Midoriya Izuku as a loving boyfriend

Featuring Deku and a reader on the receiving end of his acts of love. Just some fluff ideas.

Once Deku finds a source of interest, he will research it to exhaustion. His humble notebook of rushed scribbles or detailed documentation is a black hole of information with no visible end in sight. Naturally, this habit of his will extend to his loved ones. Especially you. Knowing everything about his significant other is only common sense. Your likes, dislikes, hobbies, opinions…All the traits that you’re comprised of have been dutifully compiled on paper, and Deku will treat this manuscript like his own little Holy Book.

It is to be noted, however, that he’s not just a hoarder. All these facts are not kept around out of mere idleness. More than anything, Deku loves to see your smile. It’s particularly addicting, more so if he’s the cause of it. Thus he will do everything in his powers to entertain you and guarantee a bright expression on your face.

His main love languages are acts of service and gift giving. He doesn’t need special occasions to shower you with little gestures of affection. It’s not even an active effort per se. He will be shopping for groceries and notice your favorite soda is back in stock, swiftly adding it to his cart. He’ll learn your favorite artist is in town, so he’ll carefully check your schedule and buy tickets ahead. He knows you have an upcoming exam that stresses you terribly, so he’ll arrange a review session shortly beforehand with handmade flashcards and summaries to help you remember key aspects.

One could say it’s his nature to be attentive. For the longest time he’s been an outcast, standing in the audience and solely observing the others. The heroes on stage. Even as his turn came to step up into the spotlight, his introversion and introspection have continued to polish his skill of reading people to perfection. The slightest twist of your mouth will offer him everything he needs to know about your mood.

Safe to say Izuku, of course, doesn’t expect anything in return. He’s doing it out of his pure, unadulterated love for you. Although if he must be honest, your reactions to his surprises do leave him chasing for more. Last time it happened, he almost teared up wiping the lip stains you left on his face. Gazing at his reflection in the mirror, Deku couldn’t help the pride swelling up his chest. He would’ve loved to parade U.A. like this, letting everyone know about his undeniable bond with you. Sadly, he’s much too anxious for that kind of attention. Worry not, they shall live on in his memory.

Izuku isn't one to keep grudges. He'd rather bury the hatchet & move on. But when word got out that Bakugō's past as a bully & an abuser got exposed at the latest annual Hero Gala, where he just got promoted to the #1 Hero no less, Izuku couldn't deny the small feeling of satisfaction within him. Soon, Bakugō lost the respect of his fellow Class 1-A graduates, former UA teachers, most of Japanese citizens & the whole world. His Hero license got revoked. He becomes what Izuku used to be. An outcast. A social pariah.

TW: this will discuss bakugou’s abusive behavior towards izuku, internal conflict, self blaming, social media harassment and bullshit, etc.

When I tell you I love karmic retribution

Izuku had kept quiet about the abuse he had faced at the hands of bakugou (and previous classmates and teachers) for so goddamn long

He had guiltily hoped that someone would fucking realize. Understand. Believe him. Stand up for him. Anything.

He had felt so selfish about wanting this, but it was such a deep and intrinsic feeling

He’s a goddamn kid, he just wants someone to tell him that what he’s gone through isn’t fair. That he didn’t deserve that. That no one, including he, deserves that. That he is worth kindness. That he is worth care. That he is just fucking accepted.

And lord knows he has had his daydreams of revenge. So many. Like so fucking many.

Spiteful revenge is a very helpful way to get through the day.

So, when it eventually came out about what bakugou had done to him for so long. He did feel vindicated.

Somehow, videos from Aldera had surfaced online.

Those who hadn’t liked bakugo prior to seeing them came out of the woodworks. They were loud and everywhere.

Bakugou asked izuku to speak out on it, stand up for him. Only then, did izuku break

He had been quiet on the issue for months. Decades, really.

He made a short and concise post on whatever social media platform people use in bnha essentially saying that yes, bakugou had done those things. Yes, bakugou’s behavior was unacceptable. He never spoke out about it because he did not have reason to think that he would be believed and that he doubted any change would be made.

He does not discuss his personal feeling about bakugou. He does starts up an anti-bullying campaign.

Bakugou quickly falls from the fickle grace that is social media

People reach out to izuku left and right apologizing to him and asking if he’s okay and good fucking gods does it suck

Because they only care now that he’s useful to them

He is so conflicted and he really just does not want to talk about it. It quickly becomes known that it is a touchy subject and one that hero Dekiru refuses to speak on.

Does that stop people from asking about it? No.

Eventually, things settle

Eventually, bakugou ends up making a large donation to the campaign izuku started.

They never become friends. Izuku doesn’t even forgive bakugou. That’s okay, it’s not needed. They do get to a point where they can see each other walking in the street and acknowledge the other. No words, just acknowledgement.

Heyy so I was wondering if u could write a story about katsuki bakugou x reader if yes then it’s basically that she is new and he tries to tell her he’s the boss but she doesn’t care and then at some point they meet alone in the park or school idk and she has like separatet parents and it’s really difficult for her so that’s why she’s so cold(persenality) so he tells her about his parents and Val bla bla they like go like each other and talk in school often but they tease each other and then they meet at home and cuddle together

BNHA/MHA - Bakugou With a Cold Classmate With Separated Parents

“Hey, fresh meat,” a gravelly voice, obnoxiously loud for its close proximity, came from in front of you. You looked up from your phone to see a boy burning holes in your skull with a dangerous glare. Judging from his uniform (quite disheveled, you noted, as if he didn’t know how to dress himself properly), he was a classmate of yours.

“Are you talking to me?” You deadpanned.

He blinked dumbly, as if he wasn’t expecting such a bland response. But the fire in his eyes only extinguished for a moment. He slammed his hands on your desk, his glare somehow even more powerful than before.

“Don’t get mouthy with me,” he snapped. “I’m the boss around here. Bakugou. Me. Ya hear?”

You looked him up and down, marking again his shoddy appearance. One of your eyebrows perked up for half a second judgmentally. You just shrugged, sighing as you turned back to your phone.

“You think you can just ignore me?!” You didn’t think his voice could get any louder, but apparently you were wrong. You flinched at the noise, but you didn’t bother to look up at him; instead, you pulled out your headphones and cranked the volume.

You could hear him yelling some more, but your music was too loud for you to discern what he was actually saying. Eventually you saw him leave your periphery, which you correctly assumed was a sign that class was starting.

You had forgotten the encounter as soon as it ended, but the boy didn’t. While you focused on jotting down notes and asking questions, he was sending furtive glances your way, both outraged and baffled at your treatment of him. You were a puzzle, that was for sure, but not one that he wanted to solve. No, he was much more interested in championing you. You’d be bending at his will just like the others, he told himself, in no time at all.

After classes were done for the day, Bakugou was walking the grounds, lost in thought. He was trying to determine the best way to get through to you. He’d need to push you, yes, but how? He chewed his cheek thoughtfully, tossing a few ideas around.

A smirk came to his lips when he noticed a familiar figure perched on a low wall along the walkway. It was as if fate wanted this.

“Yo, fresh meat,” he growled, trying to keep the sadistic pleasure out of his voice.

You turned around, your blank expression unchanging. That irked him. Why weren’t you afraid of him? He had to try harder.

“Why are you sitting all alone? Are you an outcast already?”

You shrugged, turning off your phone and putting it in your pocket. “I sure hope not. I’m just trying to get a moment of peace.”

He was caught off guard again by your nonchalance. “From what?”

“My parents. They’re separated,” you sighed, shoulders slumping. “They fight a lot. It’s… I dunno. It’s just hard.”

The need to dominate wavered. Without thinking, Bakugou spoke in a normal volume. “Yours too, huh? My parents suck ass.”

He wasn’t sure what made him say that. Nor what made him take a seat next to you, letting you vent while he listened patiently.

It was after that strange, spontaneous encounter that you became friends. Bakugou reluctantly abandoned his original goal, telling himself that you were enough of a loser already that he didn’t need to conquer you. Of course, he teased you about this relentlessly, and secretly took satisfaction in your teasing back.

One day, you were engaged in your usual banter in the dormitory common room, bouncing between creatively insulting each other and solving math problems. When your homework was done, you were able to focus your full attention on teasing.

“No way a girl would ever even go near you,” you snorted.

“Girls without spines, maybe. I’m only interested in ballsy girls anyway.”

“And what about me? Do I have balls?”

“I don’t know, do you?”

Taking this as an invitation, you stood up from the armchair you were sitting in and plopped yourself down right next to Bakugou, so close that your shoulders were pressed together.

Amused by the subtle pinkness that came to his cheeks, you leaned against him. Taking this as a challenge (he had a tendency to make everything a competition, you noticed), he wrapped both of his arms around you and reclined on the couch. You were laying on top of him, your chin planted on his chest as you looked up at him. The mischievous glint in your eye was met with an equally sly look in Bakugou’s eyes.

“Well? Am I ‘ballsy’?”

“Shut up,” Bakugou guffawed, pulling your head so you were laying properly against him.

You sighed, finding the position rather comforting, especially after all that homework. The way his sinewy arms seemed to fit perfectly around your waist brought a little smile to your (and Bakugou’s, though you couldn’t see it) face. The faint smell of his cologne filled your nose, and you closed your eyes to hone in on the scent.

Bakugou stared at the top of your head. He could feel your chest expanding and deflating languidly as you relaxed, and he found himself following your example. With a little smirk he closed his eyes, grateful that he had chosen to befriend and not break you.

League of Villains Redemption Discourse;

Its been a while since i’ve been talking about redemption for villains because it kinda become obvious that it will happen at the end of Bnha and all but there is still some discourse for villains, especially league of villains. That ‘Gentleman and La Brava fits redeemable’ type of villain better. That characters like ‘Twice are redeemable’ but Dabi isnt or Dabi can be saved but Shigaraki is bad blah blah blah. Like, the idea that ‘certain type of villain deserve to be saved’ while other doesnt. It is also ironic that people think characters like Shigaraki, Dabi and Toga are too far gone or they think this wasnt hinted. Well, here we go.

I would like to focus on league of villains to try to explain why i disagree with those opinions.

First of all, Shigaraki and Dabi’s redemption is hinted since the beginning.

The first time we saw Shigaraki, he was heaviely hinted that he is abuse victim and he was groomed. This his literally first introduction and story is telling you that this character is victim. And he had a conversation with Deku at the mall. Loosing his mind while saying ‘He hates Allmight because people are laughing as if there is noone he couldnt save’. And we get a little flashback form his childhood, ‘Noone saved you, didnt they?’. His entire character literally screams ‘SAVE ME. WHY NOONE SAVE ME? I HATE EVERYONE BECAUSE THEY DONT SAVE ME’.

And Overhaul arc. It is abour saving Eri who is parallel with Shigaraki, once again it is about saving Tomura in a parallel and we also seeing Shigaraki is capable of caring about other people which is a positive character development. And MVA arc is even more obvious. Not only story making his story more empathic because it is showing how tragic it is but also because we meet with Tenko who is kind kid who would help outcasts and well, Tomura even after ewvrything does the same with league. Showing that his inner kindness didnt disappear. Which is even making it more obvious.

Theme of Bnha is questioning the meaning of hero. Main character who wants to SAVE people in a fake hero society and his enemy who is entire character is about SAVE MEEEE, never really had choice because he was kidnapped by big evil, turns out still caring people and even helping them just like he used to be as kid. Its so obvious when Deku is like I WANNA SAVE PEOPLE and Shigaraki is like SAVE MEEE so yeah, well, it was always hinted that Shigaraki will be saved by Deku. Of course, he could die by being saved, we wouldnt know at first but one thing is sure that he would be saved. Shigaraki’s story didnt change. He was always redeemable and waiting to be saved. And the more story goes on, he only proved this more. Because in stories, positive character developments usually means noble death or redemption.

Btw, i dont think he will die because after everything happenned in story, there is no point of him dying. It also loose the point of being saved.

And Dabi.

This one is tricky since Dabi was mysterious character. I think two things make kinda hint that he will most likely get redemption. 1- He is heaveily hinted that he was Todoroki. He is doing what he is doing because he was failed by abusive hero. He is very similar to Earlyroki. So there is family drama there. Shouto is already tragic character in a positive story, so i dont see him ever killing his brother or something. Not to mention, if he is Todoroki, it would mean, he became villain because of his hero father so killing victim of hero, instead of saving would be very bad look. Not to mention, during the story, Dabi acts like dark cop or something. (Not to mention Frainkeinstein parallels). Despite revenge plan, he seems to care about morals, justice and even feeling remorse. What happens later, it doesnt change his story because he is parallel with Shigaraki a lot too.

2- Save the cat moment.

A “save the cat” is a moment, very early on in the story, where we meet or see our hero do something nice that makes us like him and say, “I want to follow this person's story.” It's important to have it because you want your audience to be sympathetic or empathetic towards your protagonist.

This was mentioned by @hamliet and other people. The scene when Dabi decides to spare Aoyama, despite noticing him. Note; Dabi didnt know Aoyama was traitor. ‘Save the cat moment’ for a villain can be hint as a possibe future redemption for him.

And others. League of villains. I think their redemption werent necessarely hinted or it was necessary. I think for them MVA arc hinted it.

For Toga, we didnt know her full story and life until MVA arc and it turned out she is also victim of society, not just crazy villain. She is parallel with one of the main kids like Shigaraki and Dabi so assuming that ‘if Shigaraki and Dabi are gonna be saved by Deku and Shouto, Toga will be most likely be saved by Uraraka’ wouldnt be weird. Not to mention is this whole arc was about the family bond between league, that they are capable of caring other people. Same for Twice, Spinner and Mr Compress too. Because story is telling you that those people are here because society failed them and they have still humanity in them, they are not doing what they are doing because of evil but because they are victims so it wouldnt be weird to assume that whether they will get redemption or noble death, like Twice did.

‘Characters like Gentleman and La Brava are better example of redeemable villains’

No, they are not. They are not even real criminals. They never even did serious crime. I like them but they are like joke villains, they are not meant to be ‘actually’ villains. Whole point of ‘redemption’ is people who did commit serious crimes. If there is no actually wrong action, then we wouldnt need redemption at first place. I think redemption exist for characters like league.

Note; Of course, other villains can get redemption too, i am just focusing on them because they are good example to use. Especially since even characters in story told them, characters like Stain and Overhaul and even Redestro seen as ‘better person’ just because they have ‘goal’, just because they dont want destruction, like Tomura did. But in the end, Tomura proved them wrong because despite being at the lowest of low, he still showed more humanity and positive character development than them, just by treating his comprades better.

And i also dont like it when people see one league of member more redeemable than another. Especially with Twice and others. Because Twice is very obvious when it comes to showing how much he cares about others. He is obvious victim. He is not ugly victim like Tomura, Dabi and Toga. But the thing is;

Every member of League has side that makes them look irredeemable but also they have their own redeemable features.

Tomura's desire to destruction makes him look ireedemable but he is the only villain who never had a choice at life, he feel miserable with his life and he is very kind leader to his comprades.

Dabi’s distancing himself from others, using people he cares, even trying to kill his brother just for revenge against his father makes him look irredeemable but he is the only villain in league that feels remorse for killing others. He has strong sense of responsibility and he doesnt think its justified. He doesnt even plan to live long. He just wants to punish his father for his sins and thats it.

Toga’s self centered side, not caring about others without remorse makes her look irredeemable but one, she is the only one who born with serial killer quirk, with urges, like damn and second, this one is interesting. Compared to Shigaraki and Dabi, Toga never once had a grudge against people who hurted her. She never hated the society, heroes, people for calling her monster. She just accept this monster label and decide to live her life according to it.

Twice, Spinner, Compress arent different from them. Their redeemable side is how much they care about league and how much they go for their friends but they also kill many people and they dont seem to care which makes them look irreedemable too. Basically, it is pointless to separate one from another.

Also, i think it is kinda wrong to decide who ‘deserve’ redemption (i am talking about hero characters because you can always hate bad writing) because it not up to you to decide. It is up to you to do right thing by giving them a chance to rehabilate and changing or not will be theirs. Well, it is complicated.

Point of league of members isnt that they are just pitifull victims or they are just evil. The thing is they are bunch of losers. And thats what makes them beautiful.They are mentally ill victims. They need help and they need to be stopped at the same time. They lash out because they are messed up. Their violence arent justified because there is no such a thing that violence that can be justified. Violence is bad. But you can understand where it comes from. The thing about league is especially main villain trio, they are written to be metahpor for pain of abuse/society victims. Some victims never get saved, some of them make wrong choices and they messed up but some of them can still be rehabilate which is why redemption is exist. It makes sense why they get redemption because they are not bad people. And redemption isnt a bad thing either, it means taking responsibility and healing. It also fits to their characters so its good writing, well, hopefully it will written good later as well.

You wave to him every morning, on your commute to work. There’s always a pleasant grin on your face, when you wave to him, despite the neighborhood you lived in. He knew, you were just a normal civilian. He could just tell, you were normal. Too normal. Or is it normal, if your world is full of super-humans? Regardless, you could never hide the fact you were quirkless. Everyone in your neighborhood knew. Maybe that’s why he didn’t mind that you were such a bright civilian. Maybe he didn’t automatically assume you worshipped hero’s. Because you were different, an outcast like him.

Because he’s not shallow enough to like somebody simply because they’re cute. There’s definitely more to it than that for him. Regardless, he had to admit, you were REALLY cute. But he just hated the idea of possibly putting you in danger by having contact with you. No matter how tough you were, you were still quirkless.

But after days of complaining about his situation to the league, he was encouraged by them (especially toga) to just ask you out. He hates the idea of being a burden to a pretty sight like you, but even he can’t hold himself back.

It’s routine for you to wave to the attractive blonde every morning, whether it be going to work or simply going out for your morning walk, you waved the man hello everytime. You were naturally friendly, compared to the interactions you have with people everyday a simple wave was nothing to you. What made it different was how it was every morning, without fail. Even though you two never interacted beyond that. He always looked out that window, smoking. But this time, today he was nowhere to be found. It felt.. offputting.

“Hey..” you heard a voice behind you, a voice you didn’t recognize. “It’s l/n, right?” the voice said, making you turn around. Your eyes widening a little, seeing it was the very man you waved to every morning. “Oh! It’s you!” you say, a grin forming on your face. One that made him wanna smile too, you had a nice smile.

He rubs his neck, letting out a nervous sigh. Here goes nothing.

Wouldnt it be cool if Shigaraki/Tenko was the one to kill AFO (like in his mind)?? Maybe with a bit off from Deku ofc

I have mixed opinions about it. I'm not talking from the meta or narrative analysis side, but from what I'd like to read.

Then I started reading other peoples opinions and reflecting about it. I think I just got tired of AFO in general. I don't know why, there's not really a good explanation. It's something more subjective. Even when AFO is the one who kick-started the story, the haha world is so much more than him. There were many problems, many situations that have him involved, but he was not the only reason behind what happened. I was ready to move on, for the story to leave the beginning behind and for Tomura and Deku to own AFO and OFA.

At first I kinda wanted that exact scenario, with Tomura being the one erasing AFO because he embodies the people who suffered the most at his hands. It was a full cycle for me.

I've mentioned before, but I really liked how AFO died at Bakugo's hands. I thought it was very poetic. I'm very fond of Bakugo as a character, I really like how he started so flawed and how he built himself to become such a great kid. He's still learning, but he's getting there. The idea of him killing AFO was amazing to me. I was sooo happy to see a "secondary character" killing AFO. It was the most miserable death. AFO suffered, he was humiliated, it was awesome. It was a good way to show that one person doesn't have to do every single thing, because to that point almost every character was fighting and doing their part.

I thought it was an interesting choice for bnha to have the big bad being taken out by a secondary, leaving the protagonist to save and not to kill. It was cool that Tomura was being saved to. Maybe him not killing AFO was the point after all. He has done so much on his own, does he have to kill AFO to? Doesn't he deserve to be saved either by his friends or the people fighting to give him a second chance?

Honestly???

I wanted the League of Villains to save Tomura.

I thought that nothing would be more important to him than to be saved by his friends. They are his family, you know. I think the LOV had the right to kill AFO for what he did to Tomura, one of the people they love, respect and admire the most. I wanted the villains to be his hero. Tomura fought for the outcasts and they fought back for him.

Right now, Deku and Tomura teaming up to kill seems like a generic shone ending to me. Not bad or out of place. It's a "uh okay" and move on type of ending.

I thought it'd be funny if the story was like "this evil man has a hidden plan beware! beware! he'll be back!" only to reveal it was truly over. He was dead. Even AFO was just another person that died as a crying baby denying his fate, his mortality, the fragility of the man. I also always praised bnha for not bringing people back over and over, but sticking to the finality of a wound or a death.

It raises the stakes, you know?

So when the villain comes back and comes back and comes back and— okay, we get it, he's evil and smart and he wants world dominance and all that. What else? Him again?

Tomura's story could have been closed without an AFO come back. It wouldn't be less meaningful. Many victims are forced to move one without the subject of their trauma there to confront. At that point, it'd be a relief to see Tomura facing his own past without AFO there or at least knowing that the man who traumatized him was dead.

I want to see the LOV. I wanted to see Kurogiri with Tomura again. I wanted to see the reaction of the world watching Deku and Tomura emerge together from that fight. They didn't have to be there to witness, Tomura and Deku had their connection and it was only for them to know.

I'm rambling, I know. Sorry :( it's just that I wanted to explain that I don't dislike the idea of what you suggested, but it's also not my favorite concept anymore.

I love how the heroes constantly underestimate the league, not just their skills but also their loyalty towards shigaraki/each other, if they regarded these social outcasts as human I.e. capable of love and community they could’ve dodged several bullets such as hawks nearly getting killed and shigaraki almost blowing up all of bnha city

BNHA prompt idea

I've been indulging in too much Bridgerton, here is a BNHA/Bridgerton/Gossip Girl mess.

I wanted a BNHA story with a gossip blog. It would be amazing. The romances would be Bridgerton coded, but I wanted the gossip sheet to be more technologically inclined (like a blog) so went to Gossip Girl for that side of thing. Plus, this way they can have an informant network and everyone can just send in gossip.

This story theoretically has no quirks.

Hello everybody,

Welcome back to school. Let us all take a moment to remember everybody's names.

Now then, back to business. As we return to school, we will notice there are quite a few new students. We of course have new students every year, but this year something has happened for the first time in two decades. Those who have been attending UA boarding since our parents pawned us off in kindergarten will take special note of the occasion.

We have new transfers joining us coming into high school. Three transfers from the same private school have entered together into ninth grade, Todoroki Shouto, Yaoyorozu Momo, and Iida Tenya have transferred in from Somei Private. What has caused them all to choose now to transfer over, we can only speculate, but you all now I shall do what I can to deliver the truth to you readers.

In addition to the newcomers from Somei Private, we have one additional transfer into the ninth grade, Aizawa Shinsou. He is transferring in on the heels of his father, Aizawa Shouta’s, employment with the school. You will notice his father is the new physical education instructor for all grades. You will also see him listed as an instructor for a few higher-level electives. They have brought with them a middle schooler Aizawa Eri as well, who will be coming into the fifth grade.

Today also comes with fantastic news for all my female (and the occasional male) readers as well. Mineta Minoru has officially been expelled due to some nasty business over summer break. His father, I assume due the shame and scandal, has elected to move the entire family out of town. Safe to say that no one will miss them.

As for our returning students, our jocks, nerds, and outcasts. Welcome back. Truly, nothing spectacular has happened over any of our summers. I can only hope the year won't be as dull. Join new clubs, meet new people, cause new drama.

I can’t wait to learn about it all.

BNHA Ch. 419

Haven't had much to say about the chapters lately. I didn't really find the fight between Shigaraki and Izuku very exciting and was checking up on leaks just to see if the ending had dropped yet.

But I was actually really excited to see this new development in 419.

I always suspected and hoped AfO gave Tenko decay and manipulated the situation so he wasn't saved. Now, we don't know if AfO orchestrated Tenko not being saved by a Hero during his trauma walk, but it was would be a little weird if he didn't after it's been revealed he had a hand in almost every aspect of Tenko's life.

I know a lot of fans are bumped by this choice or think it ruins his character, but personally it fixes a lot of my issues with how Shigaraki has been portrayed.

The main thing (as long as AfO did mess with Tenko being saved) is that it fixes the huge world building mistake that Tenko's backstory relies on. Now, I'm not a huge fan of the ridiculousness of Touya's backstory either, where this young teen in hospital clothes runs around a rich neighborhood, but that's not the core of his identity as a villain either. The thing that mattered was that Enji was still training Shoto so Touya thought his death didn't change anything.

Tenko's origin just straight up does not make sense with everything else we've been shown about this world. By the time Tenko was born Heroes were everywhere and beloved. We've never been shown anywhere else in the story that Heroes wouldn't help a child wandering around bloody on the streets actively asking for help. Even with civilians, claiming they rely to much on Heroes doesn't fix this because why wouldn't one of the thousands he walked by go get a Hero. I mean people report stuff all the time, and it'd give them an excuse to interact with what their society deems a celebrity.

It also makes AfO look stupid. Tenko is his golden ticket--he's putting all this effort into him, he's the only person he wants/can use for his goals. Why risk a Hero or caring civilain helping him? It would ruin his entire plan if anyone even showed a small kindness to Tenko. For someone who claims to plan everything, that's taking way to many chances.

I know the people that hated this reveal think it kneecaps the message of 'Hero Society bad', but I don't necessarily think the story was ever really trying to say that. It has issues and needs some fixing, but it's not what Shigaraki wanted--he wanted total destruction. It also explains why a bunch of stuff Shigaraki said didn't make sense with what we've been shown. He thinks the things he does because he's been lied to or set up in a way where that's the only conclusion he could come to.

And it's not as if all of Tenko's pain/suffering being caused by AfO makes BNHA society perfect. Spinner still faced racist discrimination, Toga's Quirk made her feel ostracized, Dabi was neglected and abused by his father who was a Hero, Twice is the poster child of the 'one bad day' motto. Shigaraki's origin is villainy itself and with AfO's own origin, a good argument of why Heroes exist. Now the entire core characters of the League have differeing backstories instead of Shigaraki just being a combo of them all, with some AfO manipulation sprinkled in.

It makes him a better foil for Izuku as well, since just like Izuku is often referred to as an empty puppet, Tenko could be viewed this way too. This is something Izuku can connect and help Tenko with when he comes back (because it'd be insane if he was just dead now). The one thing Shigaraki does have is a Heroic heart. Yes, AfO might have set some things up to get him to be that way, but you can't force someone to be altruistic or caring of others. Tenko cares about outcasts and his friends--that's still a part of him, even if it was nurtured by AfO for nefarious purposes.

So, yeah, that's my thoughts on 419. Actually sort of excited to see what happens next.

And if I ever did anything with this it'd be mostly Danny's POV, despite the focus in this post but..

Okay, hear me out:

Maddie Fenton is born into the world of bnha. She has a very rare quirk that's difficult to activate/has very specific requirements to activate: the ability to rip open portals into alternate dimensions. She activates it by accident and ends up lost in the Ghost Zone. She gets separated from the portal she made in some way shape or form, but it stays open. Maybe hostile ghosts show up and she runs, because she's young here. 7-8 probably. So she's lost in the zone--until she finds a natural portal into the dp universe.

And she ends up stuck in a world without quirks.

She grows up there, everything else about her history stays relatively the same. Except she has a new motivation for being obsessed with ghosts and the Ghost Zone and creating portals. Because she's only ever used her quirk once when she was in her world and she grew up the rest of the way without any form of quirk counseling she could have had in her first world.

And of course she's tried to use her quirk again. But it's fickle in the first place, and there are so many other universes than the one she looking for.

But veil between the dp verse and the Ghost Zone is thinner here in a way that's not true for her world. Natural portals open here without the help of a quirk. She's seen that. And the energy traces they leave behind after they close is something that can be studied.

So she turned to learning how to make a portal to the Ghost Zone through science.

But then she meets Jack and they ultimately end up having Jazz and Danny. And she's still desperate to build that portal. But now she has a stake in this world that she didn't have before.

She doesn't know what she's going to do when her and Jack's work is done. Take her family with her? Does she want to uproot their lives and move to a universe she hasn't been in since she was a kid? Has, probably, been pronounced dead in? Where her family won't have any documentation anywhere for any place under the sun? Does she just want the chance to see it before she slinks back to this world like an outcast?

She still ends up married to Jack, and they still have Jazz and Danny and her and Jack still end up successfully building a portal to the Ghost Zone when he's 14.

And Danny still has his accident.

But instead of coming out in the human world, he ends up trapped in the Zone. With an overloaded/exploded, non functional portal left behind in the lab.

Which leaves Maddie and Jack in the position of having to build the portal from scratch. Which takes time. But only after they collect the materials. Which also takes time and some of them aren't easy to get their hands on.

And of course, they first have to realize Danny's missing and why he's missing before they really get to work on rebuilding the portal.

And he happens across the very same portal Maddie created way back when.

Queue Danny, lost in Musutafu, unknowingly in a parallel to his mom's journey. And discovering he has a thing or two in common with this very strange world he's been dropped into. Quirks being one thing, when he figures out he had a quirk even before he had ghost powers. But cultural differences that are specific to the bnha verse and that Maddie brought back with her could be another. He just pops up into this world, maybe hesitant to backtrack into the zone because ghosts and definitely unlivable conditions, and he walks into town as a teenager with no knowledge of quirks and no control of the quirks he has. He.. causes a bit of a disturbance.

And queue a Madeline Fenton who's now more desperate than ever before to burst through the veil and get into the Ghost Zone.

Idk, this idea just hit me. There are definitely kinks to work out. Like where a gaping portal in bnha would have to be located so it isn't easy to find. Or how Danny ends up lost there despite a gaping portal back to the Zone. Maybe the issue is that the Fenton portal is what's not functional. So he has access to the Zone, but that's the cut off point. And he knows better than to trust the reliability of natural portals, due to his mom's research. And how much she stresses how dangerous they are. Unbeknownst to him, because she has personal experience on that front. Or smth idk yet

I think in this au Danny would originally have a regenerative/quick healing type of quirk. To explain why he had a seemingly quicker/easier recovery period than Vlad did after their accidents.

And maybe Jazz has a quirk too. But I think for this au they should both have quirks that are pretty subtle. Something that might make them weird in the dp verse, but something that doesn't set them apart too much. So when everything about the dimension hop/quirks come to light, everything about that revelation is a huge shock

Also the jumpsuits would probably be something Maddie treasures a lot. Something that feels familiar to her with the relation to pro hero costumes. Maybe she even had a parent who was a prohero. And the jumpsuit is the closest recreation she could make of the suit x parent wore. A suit that Danny now wears when he goes ghost.

Maddie got her quirk when she was younger, but she didn't activate it for the first time till she was 7-8 due to how fickle it is

And, obviously, we'd have to bring Kurogiri into this. Because, portals

Ooh, that would probably leave Danny wanting to seek out the league, Kurogiri specifically once he finds out theres someone else who can make portals. Whether or not Kurogiri would even be able to make portals to a different universe? That's a different story

I want a BNHA/TWST crossover but Izuku is the prefect and I always thought it would be interesting seeing him interacting with Azul(their both the same, and not so different from each other at the same time)Both are intelligent boys who got bullied(Izuku-quirkless, Azul-weight) when they got their powers Azul took revenge on everyone who bullied him, while Izuku pushed forward to be a hero & held no grudges. But Azul never had an All Might or friends who encouraged him like Ochako with Izuku.

Ah this is an interesting idea! Thank you for the ask, I'll just write down some of the things that might happen if Izuku were to suddenly end up as the MC.

Izuku ends up Twisted Wonderland

Firstly, he'd be a nervous wreck. Where is he? Why is he here? Why is there a large mirror with a talking head in it?? Either way, he ends up having to team up with a talking cat "The name's Grim!" they say.

The other students probably think he's quirky (haha?) because he's so into the idea of magic. He has some kind of power himself from what they can see, but it's definitely not the same thing as magic that they use. I'm sure Azul would take interest as well.

He probably befriends Ace and Deuce similar to Yuu since he's too nice and he probably ends up close with Kalim too. I feel like he would be almost at the top of the classes because he studies pretty well.

I feel like Rook might find some similarities between the two of them since Izuku also analyzes people and sometimes goes on a tangent about their abilities (think of his inner monologues as he notes hero abilities lol). Izuku might get a bit creeped out by Rook however haha.

He might end up being a therapist to some of the students too since he's so understanding of people. I mean, he wants to help as many people as possible, so of course students are going to love him. Some try to use this to their advantage sadly, but Izuku can defend himself well so no worries!

He probably ends up in the infirmary just as often as he did in UA though haha

If he were to meet Azul and find out about Azul's past, I feel like he would understand him really well. Like you mentioned, because the two of them were like the outcasts, Izuku can empathize. He, however, never held grudges, and Azul finds that to be really strange. Didn't the world basically turn their backs when Izuku reached out for help?

"Even if that did happen, I think it's more important to not let it happen to others. I want to help everyone, be like All Might, even if I may have been quirkless or even if I'm not the best out there. If I can do even just a bit to make the world better, than I'm going to try my best," Izuku tells Azul.

Azul's eyes go wide, but they soften. Ah, he was naive to the cruel world in Azul's opinion, but it was no denying how much Izuku's kindness was admirable. Perhaps like the Sea Witch herself. He chuckles to himself, patting Izuku's shoulder and telling him that he's definitely going to be a great hero.

It's a bit touching to see Azul be a bit soft. Perhaps he could've been like Izuku rather than going on the path of revenge, but Azul still wants to rub his success into others' faces so oh well lol.

Overall, I feel like Izuku's too kind for chaos that is NRC, maybe he'll like RSA more? Idk, but the school probably finds him to be a bit naive but they love him either way.

I’ll have to start that all of the boys wouldn’t judge or reject you based on your appearance, being either chubby, slim, tall, short, there are a few attributes that I think each turtle would find it e seeing or interesting, but it’s more… humanly related(?) maybe one day I’ll make a post about it if you guys wanna hear my opinion on it hehe :)

Donnie(generalized) x Chubby Reader:

just like there are certain stuff about the turtles that they like and dislike about themselves, there are stuff about humans who think the same about themselves! and even though Donnie knows there are beauty standards that control many areas in humans society, he still doesn’t understand why people outcast those who are different

I think some of us (readers / shippers) get a bit :C when thinking about Donnie bc in almost every version, he had a crush on April (who is a babe in every. Version. Specially rise, I love rise-April so much, and that’s the only apriltello I’ll let it slide lmao) and that can give a “perception” that he wouldn’t even glance at some of us ( “us” = being a huge group, trans, guys, chubby girls, chubby guys, skinny girls and guys, everyone who doesn’t fit the normie mold I guess- I unfortunately think about that often. Which sucks cuz I gotta remind myself that isn’t true!!! At all!!)

I personally Headcanon Donnie being… I don’t know if interested would be the correct word, but more intrigued with how humans relate to each other, on their first missions, he knew they could… scare some of them off, “frightened by their own prejudice” as master splinter would say, but it’s far more different to hear about it than to actually live it, and it hurts to hear someone scream their heart out just by seeing you

While growing up, he started to notice not only in television, on and off midia, how people would mess around with others on the street just because of their appearance, he knew society worked though this beauty standards, but he didn’t understand it. It didn’t made sense! value someone based on what they look like? There are so many things, so many attributes to make someone interesting, and you gonna pick the most…. Boring? Plain? Vague? Shallow reason to create privilege over others? Really? (And thst enters on the topic of how almost all beauty standards are rooted in white privileged and racism but I’ll go on a tangent about it once I start it and I’ve already said a lot lols)

He could literally go on for hours about this topic (which he has. At least tried with each one of his brothers, but they never really responded well to so said topic “if humans have it bad, then what do we have left?” Raphael barked back once, an attempt to shut him up, which it worked, btw- he didn’t like to go through that direction when thinking about that topic, but yeah, what does he have left?)

He started searching about different aesthetics, ethnicities, he has folders on Pinterest dedicated different body types, cultures, he swears it’s for research reasons, which kinda is, but Donnie’s guilty pleasure is checking “different” people online, those who would deem strange and weird outside the internet, he liked seeing their content and specially their comment sections being filled with wonderful compliments, people relating to different styles and tastes, that gave him hope that there are someone out there with different views of how everyone should be “shaped”, and that maybe he will find someone who thinks he’s handsome and desirable (Donnie, just like Raph, is also insecure about his body, but he’s more… melancholic about it, if you confessed to Raphael, there would be a high change of him pushing you away, trying not to break his heart from actually believing you, while DonDon here, if you both started dating- on some days Donnie would need more reassurance that yes, his partner does think he’s handsome/hot/attractive. Otherwise he might internalize his insecurities and it will be HARD to get a confession “why he’s so upset out of the sudden” from this turtle)

With that being said!!!! (My god I do know how to ramble) without even realizing, Donnie open his “preferences”? Let’s say, Became more open minded than most, While seeking comfort for himself, and when he says he doesn’t have a type, he really doesn’t. There are so many aesthetics that could be attractive! punks, goths, cottagecore, y2k, dark academia, light academia, grunge, fairycore, alt, the list is endless! And don’t get him started on physical attributes cuz there are so many different combinations that some how, people manage to connect the most random ones and make it look great

Donnie wouldnt fall for someone specially bc of their appearance, or that would be the first reason he would fall head over heels, when you think about it, what happened to April it was that she was extremely passionate and dedicated to *insert which cause she was fighting for* and took Donnie seriously, that light up a lightbulb in his head that has never been on before, people showing how ardently they can be into something, how much they care and such, that’s attractive to him, and after that, everything that person does, or is, suddenly becomes beautiful and amazing for Donnie

Withthatbeingsaidpart2- if Donnie did fall for someone more on the chubbier side, their “plumpy-ness” would def be something to call his attention out after he developed feelings, he longed for your hugs, specially after he found out how soft and warm they were, he actually started having more naps after you caught his heart, imaging how it would be to cuddle someone as soft as you while hugging his pillow late at night on his bed (which eventually he would doze off from day dreaming so much)

Talking about day dreaming, Donnie can totally lose himself in his mind, just like with his projects, he can imerse himself in a fantasy about you two easily, which makes him totally freeze when you show up and he actually have to say or do something he has been constantly dreaming about

So please confess first, cuz when I say he can lose himself in his daydreams, that can last for months until he actually gathers courage to do something about it

While in a relationship, Donnie is totally a hopeless romantic, but not the typical “roses and candlelight’s dinner” kind, as your boyfriend, he wants to help you out no matter what, he will make aaaaas many inventions as he can that might increase the quality of your life, becomes easier to do… whatever, literally. And he always longs for your adorable reactions to his gifts

He adores your chubby cheeks, he will! Get lost! in your face! Your eyes! Eveything! He will oh so slowly caress his knuckles softly across it, sliding to your neck, traveling through your arms, he likes to squish your face a bit as well while cupping it when he goes for a kiss, he just thinks everything about you is adorable (and hot at the same time)

He really like the contraste his skin has with yours, it’s so foreign for him and he can’t help but to love how smooth your skin can be, (which leads his mind to ahem. Certain kind of thoughts. If you know what I mean)

Just like he needs reassurance about his appearance, he knows you probably had to deal with more than one unpleasant comment about your physique, so you don’t even have to ask, Donnie is so whipped with you, compliments about you just drip of his tongue, and it’s always so sweet, followed by a pair of soft eyes, always admiring you, plus, Donnie is a science / fact man, he would gather information about other cultures that value more curvy, chubby, bigger people, he would go as far as making a slide presentation how wonderful and more inclusive people are being (even if it doesn’t seams like it, and there’s still a long way to go) he would include real opinions online other than his on the matter that your body is indeed, a snack, (aaaaaand he is once again right, aaaaand just like everyone else you just have to live with it and accept it 😌 end of story)

He would definitely “put up to test” his theory of how amazing it is to cuddle someone who’s more on the chubbier side (and his theory is ✅ correct)

Cuddling becomes a weekly thing for you guys, that being you sitting on his lap, having naps, watching movies together, he loves to create or update his projects with you on his lap, holding you grounds him. Plus it’s easier to speak some kisses on your cheeks that way

He finds out some people on the heavier side stops themselves to live some experiences the hard way, he never wants to make you uncomfortable, ever. But it takes a while for him to understand why wouldn’t you like to, as an example, wear a bathing suit/ swimwear around other people, wearing lighter clothes when it’s absurdly hot during winter time, that you don’t like when he picks you up? things that don’t connect right away. he promises himself to never force you to do anything you don’t want to, but he slowly will try to support you to do whatever you have always wanted to but stopped yourself from doing so bc of your weight

He would take extra time while making out with you, he wants you to know how much he loves your body, every inch of it. Lowkey likes to drag his nails on your tights and mark you

Overall? Donnie is extremely thoughtful, independently of how his partner look like, if they were “part” of some sort of outcast from society, he would take his sweet time to show how important and special his partner is, he is extremely thankful to be able to experience love, something that not only him, but all of the boys, thought it was out of their reach for a really long time, so you bet he’s going to show how appreciative he is oof your love, of all of you 💜

I really tired to innovate a bit here, didn’t want to add the same stuff as other Headcanons that already exists (I mean, Its cute to read how we as writing blogs / authors “agree” on how the boys would react in certain situations, which it is a FactTM that Donnie is a sweetheart. but it’s also good to read new stuff, oooor you know, a new perspective of it, even if it is a “common” / “already done” scenario, you know? )
