Sam Heughan in Outlander (2014– ) The Devil's Mark
S1E11
Geilis and Claire are imprisoned pending their trial for witchcraft. Geilis admits to Claire that she killed her husband Arthur, which isn't a surprise. She also admits that she is devoted to the Jacobite cause. The trial itself has all the makings of a one-sided affair but Ned Gowan arrives in time to provide both of them with something of a defense. The witnesses against them include Geilis' housemaid, a woman who bought a love potion from her and Laoghaire who claims Claire stole Jamie from her with magic. As the trial comes to an end, Ned tells the two women that the only solution is for Claire to save herself by denouncing Geilis. She refuses to do so but Geilis saves her - and reveals her great secret. Jamie takes Claire from the court and Claire tells him the truth about her past...
*The quote that Claire recites to Geillis, 'I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country', would be uttered 33 years later in 1776 by Nathan Hale, a spy who served in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. Geillis, upon recognizing this quote, looks shocked because this is the moment she realizes that Claire, just like herself, is from the future.

Ed Speleers: Filmography 2010-2023 🎥
Deathless (2010) — John Ray
Tumblr media
A Lonely Place to Die (2011) — Ed
Tumblr media
“It was certainly a physical experience, definitely. I think from a stunt element, I try to do as much as producer jurisdiction would allow me to do. But you can’t take any credit away from a fantastic stunt team, and Jamie Edgell was a brilliant stunt coordinator. […] Wherever possible I tried to be as hands-on and do as much as Julian [director] wanted me to do.” [x]
The Ride (2011) — Student
Tumblr media
Metamorphosis: Titian (2012) — Actaeon
Tumblr media
“I was very excited to get involved. I think the initial reaction was to see Luke and Remi [directors] and seeing some of their previous work was what really drew me in at first. And then you start looking at the National Gallery, and then you start realising that Titian is, obviously, a fantastic artist. To be able to recreate one of the great paintings was a fantastic opportunity for me.” [x]
Love Bite (2012) — Jamie
Tumblr media
“My mum told me I was always comfortable with nudity as a kid, but I think as I got older I’ve become rather uncomfortable with it. It’s one of those things where the director just comes up to you ‘right, Ed, today you’re naked, and you will be running through the streets of Glasgow’ – ‘alright, okay, let’s do it, yeah fine’. And the cameras are rolling, and whilst they’re rolling you think nothing of it. But it’s when the cameras go off and cut, you suddenly look around and there’s fifteen men in North Face coats with cigarettes and big, burly beards just staring at you, and you think ‘yeah, I’m definitely naked, alright then, wicked’.” [x]
Turncoat (2013) — Nathan Reece
Tumblr media
Plastic (2014) — Sam
Tumblr media
Downton Abbey (2012-2014) — Jimmy Kent
Tumblr media
“It was a very special time working on the show. But the character himself wasn’t at the forefront. When you’re downstairs, and Julian Fellowes, the writer, his emphasis is on the upstairs – that’s the world he knows very well. And the downstairs characters quite often bridge the gap between upstairs and downstairs, but you’re not always front and centre, which is fine. You’re part of an ensemble, part of the process. And actually, there I had to learn how to be a part of an ensemble, or learn how to be a part of the big scene, maybe not having to say a great deal all the time but learning how to be present. Learning how to be on the ball. Learning how to respond to others, whether it be very subtle looks or whether it be just learning how to play a little bit.” [x]
Wolf Hall (2015) — Edward Seymour
Tumblr media
Howl (2015) — Joe
Tumblr media
Partners in Crime (2015) — Carl Denim
Tumblr media
Interview with Ed for BBC’s Saturday Kitchen hosted by James Martin. James: Your character is like a playboy character, would that be right? Ed: I wouldn’t say playboy… James: Rides a motorbike? Ed: He rides a motorbike, yeah… He rides a motorbike. [Audience laughs] James: I know this cause he [Ed] didn’t ride a motorbike. Ed: No, no… I unfortunately couldn’t ride the motorbike. I’m really rock ‘n roll, clearly. It was a beautiful bike as well, a Triumph Tiger. So, I think, at some point, you will see a shot of me riding off on the bike and then it’ll cut to a slightly wider back. [x]
Remainder (2015) — Greg
Tumblr media
Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) — James Harcourt
Tumblr media
“Getting to work with some of the people that are involved was a key element, and knowing I was gonna get scenes with Mia Wasikowska was a massive drawcard. I think as a young actor, it’s not just about scripts sometimes, it’s who you might be able to be rubbing shoulders with and in the sense of who you might be able to bounce off with. And also, working with James, it was a real delight to work with James Bobin. I thought he was a wicked director, really in touch with comedy and comedic timing. For me, it was a nice opportunity to get together with some really good people so, it made sense to me to do it.” [x]
Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands (2016) — Slean
Tumblr media
Interviewer: Slean is very angsty and frustrated when we meet him. Do we discover any new layers to him as well? Ed: I hope so. I suppose that depends on how well I play him, really. But I think characters – good characters always have some sort of light and dark anyway, and I don’t think it’s a clear-cut case of him being a bad guy. Yes, he’s angsty, but he’s got a lot to be angry about. [x]
Breathe (2017) — Colin Campbell
Tumblr media
The House That Jack Built (2018) — Ed
Tumblr media
“It was like being on a stage. There was nothing to worry about. […] We were allowed to do whatever we wanted, and we kind of tore the place apart. You could feel the camera coming in close, you could feel it going wide. It was such a liberating way to work. […] He [von Trier – director] gave me one note: ‘can you get some chewing gum?’ Not because my breath stank by the way, it wasn’t because of that. It was because he just wanted the detail of the chewing gum, he said, ‘try that’. And a mate and I went to go and watch it, because I was curious to see how the whole film had turned out, and he was like ‘mate, you chewing gum, what a great move’, and I was like, ‘yeah, yeah, I thought that’d be good’. [Laughs] No, I did go on to tell him it was Lars von Trier’s idea. But I thought, that tiny detail, I was a small supporting role but to have little ideas like that, they are minute details and behaviour things, I suppose. But it shows someone who’s got great attention to detail to be able to offer that up.” [x]
Zoo/Death Do Us Part (2018) — John
Tumblr media
For Love or Money (2019) — Johnny
Tumblr media
Outlander (2018-2020) — Stephen Bonnet
Tumblr media
“His physicality is immensely important. I looked at a lot of rockstars. Because I think a lot of frontmen and rockstars, don’t quote me, they have sociopathic/psychopathic tendencies. [Laughs] There’s something about a frontman, like Liam Gallagher or Mick Jagger, and all of those… I’m not saying I took directly from them, but I think I did try and play with the notion of Stephen Bonnet being this 18th century rockstar. I mean… I just did. [Laughs] I thought with the piracy thing and everything, but then you intertwine that with the fact he also considers himself a gentleman, that to me just sounds like a modern-day rockstar. That sort of confidence that they exude, that’s where a lot of the swaggering element came from.” [x]
Against the Ice (2022) — Bessel
Tumblr media
You (2023) — Rhys Montrose
Tumblr media
“The difficulty was how to place myself, mentally, in that state of being tortured. What that would be like, what substitutions I could find and what power of imagination I could use. […] But I think we [Penn Badgley and I] had a really strong respect for one another and what one another was trying to do. And actually, we just trusted each other. So, when you get to a scene like that, it all comes down to trust. And he’s so great to act against – it’s not minimum requirement because that’s lazy and I don’t think that’s true. But if you offer yourself over to someone who is going for it inherently, something is gonna work, something is gonna happen.” [x]
Star Trek: Picard (2023) — Jack Crusher
Tumblr media
“I think the time period is one thing, and obviously you have to adapt to that, but I feel that the skillset is still the same. You need to be applying to what’s the script telling me? What’s the character telling me? What am I feeling, what am I thinking? ‘How am I gonna get out of this situation?’ is normally what Jack’s thinking. […] But what I did feel early on in some of those scenes was: I can’t let other people down here. I’m stepping up to the plate with some big heavy hitters who know this inside out and they’re not gonna, even if they’re the nicest people in the world, which they are, they’re not gonna take prisoners or suffer fools gladly. So, you’ve got to match them and you’ve got to surpass that as well, I felt. I relish that because I felt it tuned into Jack as well. So, it was a lovely little way for me to step into something that was like, ‘Okay, come on there, guys. What have you got? I’m gonna bring you this. Let’s see what you guys have got. Let’s have some fun and let’s play.’ And I love that.” [x]

UFO sausage!! UFO sausage! Over mountains!
Tumblr media
3d scene about UFO sausage. UFO sausage – it is my favorite theme. So, it is ended magnetic storm. Sun makes some emitting with big intense. Very intense. It can be some troubles with techniks, radio. And it is attention! It is already flying UFO sausage! UFO sausage!
Big UFO sausage is flying around city. I watched in 90s some tv series. There was some big UFO sausage over city. Very big round circle UFO sausage. I remember it a lot. I do not remember how this tv series is titled. It was some sci fi like Star Wars.
UFO sausage is flying. And it is flying over mountains.

A little bit about me…
Tumblr media
Far as online is concerned, I would be recognized as a fanfiction writer. I started writing fan fiction 23 years ago on fanfiction.net. The first work posted online was Party with the Old Fly-Boys, fandom was JAG and the ship was Harm/Mac, that was September of 2000. And it went from there… Over time, I wrote 100 pieces of work for 26 fandoms ranging from books, television and movies and 27 different ships’. Since, my works have been purged (found only on my inactive LiveJournal) because they no longer reflect me as a writer. For years I’ve been trying to get back on the saddle, but my muse only goes as far as the ideas. Soon as I try to transcribe to paper or type it, I draw a major blank. Writer’s block for the last several years has been disheartening. I still try, leaving things in my drafts and such but I usually just end up deleting it all and starting completely over. Amazing how one can feel like they’re on top of the moon writing to not being able to muster even a drabble.
Outside of writing? I’m a full-time mom to 2 autistic sons. Wife to a marine veteran, Semper Fi and thank a veteran or active member for their service they will appreciate it. And to top that already full plate I am a full-time daughter to my mothers. If I’m not taking care of something to do with them then I’m dealing with the horde of animals, we have. 9 dogs and 20-something cats we have strays coming in all the time. I basically run a rescue all on my own and with my own money (but not a legit rescue just FEELS like I’m running a rescue).
What do I love?
Yellowstone (with all the strikes over I'm hoping Kevin Costner will now have time to film and they can continue the rest of season 5 without feeling rushed) 1923 (can’t wait for season 2, I’m beginning to lean toward Spencer and Alex being the grandparents of John Dutton III) Outlander (season 7 so far has been the best season since season 1 and 2) Reacher (long as season 3 still has Neagley coming back to do her usual bonding with Reacher I'll watch) The Terminal List (even with the shocking season 1 ending I’m looking forward to what’s next) The Good Doctor (I don’t mingle with the community much because autism is a triggering topic for me) Stranger Things (CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 5!) Marvel Cinematic Universe (I am an expert at MCU, come at me) Top Gun: Maverick (very, very, very, very good sequel, Top Gun is still in my top 3 movies of all time) John Wick (films/series) (these movies were more complex than people gave them credit for) Mission Impossible (films) (this saga of films has been going on for over 27 years, go Cruise!) Underworld (films) (could have been SO much better than they were. I'm in love with the idea of what these films could have portrayed, but with what we got I'm okay with them) True Crime Documentaries (as I’ve gotten older these shows appeal to me more) Paranormal (yes, I believe in the paranormal, wholeheartedly) Vampires (I’m in love with vampires, don’t like it, fuck off) Weather (used to be terrified of storms as a little girl but once I became a teenager I fell in love, I have even storm chased) Nature (I love nature, being in the mountains, beaches, wherever we should respect our world) Animals (I love animals more than people, I love human beings but I’m really sick of people)
Who do I love?
Beth Dutton from Yellowstone. I relate to her in so many ways, like her no bullshit attitude and utter dying devotion to family. Where we differ, I don’t smoke cigarettes, I don’t drink alcohol anymore, and I would LOVE to own Yellowstone Dutton Ranch GLADLY. She hates it and would have no qualm selling it once her father passes but while he is alive, she will defend it to her last breath. Beth doesn’t let anyone scare her, she won’t let anyone get that satisfaction from her ever again since her mother died and since she lost the ability to have children.
Wanda Maximoff from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Most particularly in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and before you say anything let me explain. I have 2 sons, like Wanda, and a husband, like Wanda. And I imagine what it would be like to lose my husband and my children...the grief that would consume me would no doubt turn me evil, and I'm not using the word lightly. If I were in Wanda's shoes in Multiverse of Madness with that grief and guilt and the Darkhold in my possession anyone who stood in my way would be fucked, like the Illuminati. The only thing that would be able to stop me would be my boys, just like Wanda. And like Wanda, when she realized what she had become and how her own boys perceived her...it was enough to turn her away from the dark path and truly LOVE her sons...which is what I would hope I would do because I would only hope their love would be enough to bring me back from that place.
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WANDA AND HER FULL REDEMPTION ARC COME TO PASS!!
Why did I write and post this?
I managed to actually write it out fairly quick, so you damn right I’m posting it! May not be a story but its about me so I guess in a way it is a story.
Requests and Asks welcome!

When I was young I saw no path before me, I simply took a step and then another.
Ever forward, ever onward, rushing toward someplace I knew not where. And one day I turned around and looked back and saw that each step I'd taken was a choice, to go left, to go right, to go forward or even to not go at all.
Every day people have a choice between right and wrong, between love and hate, and sometimes between life and death and the sum of those choices becomes your life.
The day I realized that is the day that I became a better human.
