Terrible weather continues.  Rain. Because of a bare cupboard I have to go out for suppies.  I get drenched.  

Later, salvos of thunder.  

The Texas shooter still on the run.  Further confusion as the wrong photo was posted.  Governor Abbott finally makes a statement.  Refers to the shooter and those he killed as “illegal immigrants.”  Cold, yes?

Puzzled about a bill from the office of Dr. B.  Thought Medicare would cover it.  Most confusing.  

Trump’s lawyer has asked for a mistrial in the E Jean Carroll case.  It was turned down by the (no nonsense) judge.  But odds are that Trump will slither away from this.  Ms. Carroll’s case is simply too weak.  (E.g. Can’t come up the date she was attacked.) As the day wears on the dreaded Tacopina grills Ms. Carroll.  

Nice weather again.  Must go out.  Must keep moving.  Once again I see someone I used to work with shuffling along with a walker.  Old age closing in fast.

Obit in the N Y Times for Ralph Boston, Black Oylmpian (the long jump) who, in the late Sixties came to the University of Tennessee to be the coordinator of minority affairs (a new role; for that time and place, a new concept) and assistant dean.  I was out of school by then but Doug Howard later told me that it was Mr. Boston heard the band playing “Dixie”...a rouser when the Vols scored a touchdown...and remarked on it.  “Dixie” was then expunged (about time) from the marching band folder.  

Walking down Eight Ave.  An entire block is being vacated, seems to be making way for luxury apartments.  I can’t even guess what the rents will be.  I wince in pain as I think back on all of the places I’ve lived here in the city, the agony of the seach, being turned down, etc.  At least my son was spared that.

1. Kendall she's vapid and basically took a model career that could've gone to someone with talent

2. Khloe is annoying in a petty way (though her organized home is goals)

3. Kylie. The cultural(appropriation) thing. I can't blame her poor taste in men bc her t***r groomed her.

4. Kim (cultural appropriation) (but I kind of like her too bc of her personality and having my name)

5. Kourtney I can't really think of anything besides the Justin thing (gross)
