So many workplaces now ask you your pronouns, etc. Participation in Pride parades are okay!! We get to choose who we are! gender should not be imposed on ANYONE!

i honestly love the fact that i have just been following two people very invested in dnf for like a year, either bc of a misclick or other mutual fandom, because i have so little knowledge about what is and is not real with those two. i have never played or watched a mindcraft in my life, however i can acknowledge insane homoeroticism when i see it, and those two are either ridiculously committed to a bit or ridiculously committed to each other, and to the like fifteen people who still seem to care post-face reveal (which i always thought was awful by the way, like people were dicks about it) it doesn’t really matter

poem about american rock band my chemical romance
Poem about American rock band My Chemical Romance
Welcome to the black parade
this was on my playlist since the fifth grade
I think that’s how I knew I was gay on that day in the USA
(Pause)
..
Speaking of USA I’m so sad for 9/11..
Overall it was really bad but MCR is the exception
Cause the other day I learned that that was the inception
And when I see Gerard way
I get an erection
Everything is sad and I’m writing my poetry listening to MCR emotionally while I’m recklessly jerking it to Nightwing woefully ..
Im sorry i always bring it back to Nighwing, but honestly I’m hungry so I need to eat something, and I got hella bands in my pocket, KA CHING
And my dad left me like ging (from the hit anime hunter x hunter)
Sorry guys, but it’s my time to roll
Just like the song off Danger Days: The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys, I’ve got to Planetary:Go
Thank you. I hope you enjoyed… I know I did

TODAY'S FROZEN MOMENT - from Thanksgiving 1966 - I just happen to love this shot.... I know not whose... mainly for the colors... but also the composition... just a great moment from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, of the Rockettes and Smokey.

"i made it up
here on this bridge between
starshine and clay,
my one hand holding tight
my other hand; come celebrate
with me that everyday
something has tried to kill me
and has failed."

Somewhere
Somewhere between Norway and Ireland
volcanic rocks and glaciers leap from the sea
My map has failed me, I’m there
the boom of my ship knocking
against each obstacle, cones of ice
engraved by gray waves
Blue in our sails shows the sun is somewhere
in the vicinity but will never come
to this particular latitude
or parades of comic and beautiful animals
stricken by my depression There is nothing here
to love This seascape fits exactly with
the geography of my mind:
whatever is close is dangerous

Pride
A street, lined with rainbow
People cheer, laughter abound
Most everyone here is proud
Singing and dancing commence
Bringing life to a standard street
This is community
Solidarity in the colors flying
Children, smeared with chalk
Run through throngs of cloth
Sun shines as boots hit
A rhythm of love
Noise is once again happy
Only she is afraid
Watching the man in the red hat
He holds up a camera, smirking
Scorn mars his pale face
She shoves through the crowd
And remembers the headlines
Confetti flies
Painting the sky
Please don’t let it turn red
Ok ok ok so backstory: this week in my creative writing class we had to do a wormser’s reduction and so this is mine (1st edition) and i wanted to share because you people would appreciate it
it’s based off a personal experience from the local community pride parade last year i hope y’all like it

On especially chilly nights, in the distance you see;
Loose parade balloons floating with the breeze.
Glowing afar but marching closer,
Leading the way, a dancing cat is followed after!
Sweet, scary goblins and ghouls being shadowed,
By strangely tall Toadstools and flamboyant Werewolves,
Spooking, jaunting - celebrating the eerie air as one!
As treats and tricks roam down the streets you know,
The Grand Pumpkin Parade has made it's way to you!
-Bailey Brown, Halloween Parade 2023(gouache painting)
Trying to find a forever home for this painting + prints are avaliable in my Inprnt shop as well! Wish you all a spooky season!! ✨🎃

Poetry Corner
So it's Easter Sunday--hooray, hooray.
Which has to make you wonder,
as the Cattanooga Cats lead an Easter Parade
(howbeit informal, impromptu even,
as per Snagglepuss there)
along the Parkway down Gatlinburg way,
what could they have in mind
come the summertime,
everybody soakin' up the bright sunshine
(and all that schmaltz)....
And what sort of life-rituals
Trolldom must be thinking about
down Trolltown way, recognising,
in line with the introllconnexion unto Nature,
just how wondrously natural, yet enjoyable,
sexuality and the sexual feeling are
at this general time of the year.
Likewise with the mating season road trip
which the Hair Bear Bunch likely have in mind,
thoughts and plans therefor being formulate
over the Easter season festive, just appeasing
their Inner Sensual Need....

Reign On My Parade
It was the big day:
never one for the spotlight
but I wanted the recognition.
I waited my whole life
to not be part of the crowd
but to dance in the middle of the street
with all the displays
and my name in lights.
But when I stepped forward
the streets were empty and
someone took my place.
How could you reign on my parade?
Never mind.
Whatever floats your boat
but mine’s tits up
and the ship has sunk.
Just the other day, I checked for holes
and found none.
But now I may as well have been a sponge.
Never mind.
Whatever you call your throne
may as well be my face with your name on it.
The coronation, my damnation.
My crowning achievement
was placed on your head.
I’m crowning and
I’ve returned to being an infant
Fresh from the womb, I’m an open wound.
My mother’s cold sore.
Lo and behold, the doctor declares:
“A scar is born; the ache shall never heal again!”
I couldn’t afford the treatment
so the doctor bashed my teeth in.
You were provided for
while I’m covered in debt.
For all the bullshit I’ve endured
I must be seeing red because
you’re the matador of this stage.
Never mind thunder
you never needed to steal anything.
Instead of sunshine
you should have been soaking up my sheets.
It would only have been fair
but it could never be even.
I’d have to get on my knees
just to squeeze out a hint
of truth from you.
Never mind pride, I know
you wear the emperor’s new clothes.
You could have stained my back
instead of my legacy.
Now what do I have?
You reigned on my parade.
Well I hate to be window dressing
but I’d gladly change my appearance
just to toss
your
salad.
One last gasp from the audience.
One last grasp of my dignity.
Because I’ve lost all shame
while you reign on my parade.

##########################
People friendship did not work
Because of the Kremlin freaks in action.
And thousands of folks are in the grave today
Due to the genocide of nations.
Nursing home elders went through the parade
And served their time in the stands.
Those worthless old folks who very well paid.
Will outdo everyone in making wicked plans.
The West couldn’t at all understand
Why they supported Kremlin crimes.
But it was just a human shield dance
Performed by the concubines.
Crept into our time bunch of old whores
Entering post-Soviet shameful harem doors.
##########################
