Eddie Munson who gets his Lizzie McGuire moment by going to Rome with an university art program.

The only requirement is to visit museums regularly and redraw the art pieces in his style and submit his work by the end of it.

What seems to be a piece of cake for Eddie, gets a lot more complicated when the average Italian museum worker is met with his peculiar drawings style -which might include evil dragons and decapitated heads in some of Caravaggio’s Still Lives and, in worst cases, some additions to Christian art pieces that have been described as “blasphemy” as he was getting escorted out and banned from the Vatican’s Museums (and maybe the whole country, Eddie still doesn’t know so he avoids that part of the city just to be safe).

And Eddie, who will never compromise his work integrity for a few Italian bigots, ends up in one of the least known and visited museums of the city. Which still, by his standards, contains fine art he can work on.

And if this particular museum, which is one hour and a half of public transport from his house, has a really hot security guard who follows him closely and barks at every tourist that tries to take a picture of his drawings, he surely won’t complain.

Mentre la stecca di alluminio sta lì, è più fredda, non ti da troppa confidenza. Sta lì e ti guarda ma soprtutto pensa: “vediamo questo icchè fa!”

Però se riesci a conquistarla non ti molla più.

Assolutamente nulla contro Angelina Mango che in questo non c'entra niente, ma il risultato di questo Sanremo è una vergogna. Non lo dico con leggerezza.

Il fatto che un partecipante sia stato fischiato e così gratuitamente contestato per due volte in due serate, e che radio & sala stampa si siano messe d'accordo per votare in massa la partecipante che con i loro voti avrebbe potuto spodestarlo - è una vergogna che quest'accanimento sia stato consentito e passi senza chissà che commenti.

A me Geolier non piace neanche, come cantante. Non lo ascolto, non ho votato lui. Ma cazzo se punge questa vicenda. Perché un ragazzo se n'è dovuto tornare a casa con la bile in bocca perché ha commesso lo strano crimine di essere un rapper napoletano di successo.

Boh, stamattina mi sento orridamente Napoletana. Sento una puzza di antimeridionalismo che di solito qui non mi arriva, o riesco ad ignorare, perché sono del centro e non ho l'accento forte e "sono una ragazza perbene" come se questo mi lavasse del crimine di essere nata a Napoli.

Fa male vedere uno di qua salire su quel palco col suo accento vero ed il suo dialetto vero e la sua cultura vera e vederlo SPACCARE e piacere un botto, e poi vedergli negata la vittoria perché suppongo troppo polemica, troppo divisiva.

Non sono di secondigliano ma oggi Geolier m'è fratm pure a me. Quest'anno l'ha vinto lui.

I’m unearthing a cringe memory but, there was a time I ate out with some very beloved friends of mine. In the middle of it, I asked one of my dear friends to ‘pass the meat’ in English, which was not our mother language.

And my dearly beloved friend, looked at me innocently, and said “Uh, sure! I’ll do it cause we’re friends! ^^”

They cut the pieces of meat that was already on my plate…..and tried to spoon feed it to me……

the communication failure was ASTOUNDING

Anyway, I’m giving Tord this cringe memory now. He does the spoon feeding, happily might I add. You can assign who he does it to in your head.
