『Horizon Zero Dawn』(ホライゾンゼロドーン)より、アーロイを描きました。一昨日ゲームをクリアしました。『DEATH STRANDING』関連のアイテム、座礁したネックレス、手かせ、人形も入手。スタッフロールに流れた小島監督たちのお名前も確認しました。リードプロデューサーを務めていたPatrick Munnik氏の訃報を先程知りました。心よりお悔やみ申し上げます。素晴らしい作品をありがとうございました。

Eind januari bezochten we voor het eerst het Fries Museum in Leeuwarden om naar de expositie Fantom Limb te kijken.

feit of fictie

In het werk van Patrick Corillon loop je in de voetsporen van zijn fictieve muze Oskar Serti. Als kijker neem je de werkelijkheid van Serti over. Zo wordt ongemerkt de grens tussen realiteit en fictie overschreden. Je bent plotseling zelf de hoofdrolspeler van het verhaal. Saskia Olde Wolbers geeft in video vorm aan haar onwerkelijke werelden. Ruimtes die doen denken aan vervreemdende filmsets zijn het decor van eigenaardige gebeurtenissen en lijken in onaardse vloeistoffen gedompeld. Dominique Teufen plaatst je in een kamer waar net een feestje is geweest. Door haar aanpassingen aan de ruimte bekruipt je het gevoel van desoriëntatie.

diepte

Ook in de fotografie zijn kunstenaars in staat om de realiteit een onverwachte wending te geven. Marc Philip van Kempen fotografeert zijn eigen chaotische decors. De werken lijken geen twijfel te laten bestaan dat de beelden bewerkt zijn. Het zijn echter niet de foto’s, maar de objecten die gemanipuleerd zijn. De jonge kunstenaar Matthijs Munnik omringt je met kleur. In zijn installatie Luminal speelt hij met perspectief en diepte, waardoor je in een oneindige, kleurrijke leegte stapt.
