Since it’s Halloween season and one of the ships I like is Intruality I wanted to draw the ship with couple’s costumes. The costumes I picked are Johnny and Mavis from Hotel Transylvania (the first movie). I didn’t give them wigs for the costumes since I wanted Patton and Remus to still be recognizable.

Sanders sides fans!! Are you still out there??

I just remembered a fic that I would love help finding pls! It's like a period piece where Thomas is a historian and moves into an old house and meets all the sides as ghosts. Then, he pieces together their life stories as he talks to each ghost and eventually manages to republish the stories of their lives and set their souls free.

I remember some vague details:

It had all 6 sides

Roman was an artist/poet but was very ill

Logan was his doctor

They were in looooveee

Patton and Virgil ended up together which was super cutee

Its them retelling the stories of their deaths so its quite sad.

They all find each other again in ghost form, it's so cute!

Idk who the author was but I think I read it on ao3?? If u could help that'd be so great thank u!!

Sanders Sides Musical Madness (A Songfic Series) Part 2: Lover 🩵💔 & 💚💛

Relationships- One Sided Intruality, Demus

Content Warnings- Patton angst, mention of intrusive thoughts (not in detail)

A/N: I put the song lyrics in this oneshot as well, so the lyrics are in parentheses. There’s also brackets around what’s supposed to be a text message on Patton’s phone towards the end of the oneshot. Also, this was inspired by the several Gacha Life/Club music videos that exist for this song on YouTube. The AO3 link and link to the previous and next part will be at the end of this oneshot.

Patton looked at his reflection in his vanity mirror and smiled at himself. His blonde hair was brushed nicely and he was wearing his favorite sweater and jeans. Today was the day he’d confess his feelings to Remus. Patton never thought he’d fall for one of his childhood friends, but here he was. He only realized his feelings a few weeks ago, so he hasn’t told any of his other friends about it yet. Patton wanted to process his feelings on his own first and avoid drawing attention to them, in case Remus ended up rejecting him if he eventually confessed.

“You’ve got this, Pat. And if he rejects you, hopefully he’ll still want to be your friend.” Patton says to try and comfort himself. He quickly grabs his backpack and exits his room. He waves goodbye to his parents before leaving the house and walking towards his high school.

Patton arrives at school and walks over to his friend group’s usual meeting spot, which is by the big tree in front of the school. He sees Remus and Roman already there, but he also notices someone new. Remus is the first to notice Patton approaching and smiles widely, waving at Patton to call him over.

Patton finally is close enough to speak to the twins and whoever this new person is. The stranger has dark brown hair than stops a few inches above their shoulders. They also have a birthmark on the left side of their face as well as heterochromia.

(I see the way you look at her

I've never seen you look at me like that

It doesn’t matter what I've heard

No one has to tell me twice

I can see it in your eyes)

Remus motions to the new person and speaks to Patton, “Pat! This is Janus, he’s new to this school and Roman was asked by the principal to show him to his classes.” Remus then smiles brightly at Janus, and Patton can’t help but pay attention to the way his crush looks at Janus. Remus never looked at him like that before. Remus never looked at any of his friends like that. Soon Virgil and Logan arrived and the friend group plus Janus talked to each other for a bit before heading inside for their homerooms.

Throughout the school day, Patton kept thinking about Remus and Janus. Maybe he shouldn’t confess today after all….

Patton didn’t end up confessing that day, and Janus ended up joining the friend group. Everyone seemed to like Janus. Roman now had someone to speak about theater with. Logan had someone to talk about ethics and philosophy with. Virgil had someone besides Remus to watch horror movies with. And Remus finally had someone other than Logan who was comfortable hearing about his darker thoughts.

Patton was happy for Remus. His crush now had Janus to help him deal with his intrusive thoughts. Logan was there to listen to Remus when he needed to discuss his thoughts, but Patton could tell that Logan got a bit worn out from being the only one there to help.

Still, Patton couldn’t help but wish he was the one there to comfort Remus. But the intrusive thoughts were too much for Patton to listen to. He’d never be able to compete with Janus in that regard. So all Patton could do was watch as Remus started spending more and more time with Janus. Patton wasn’t going to let his jealousy cause him to try and separate Remus and Janus. His crush needed Janus’s support, and clearly appreciated Janus’ company.

A month after Janus joined the friend group, Remus and Roman invited everyone over for a sleepover. Patton was one of the last people to arrive. When he got there, he saw Janus talking with the twins’ mother. They were discussing musicals, and she seemed to really enjoy the conversation. Patton had spoken with the twins’ mother many times before. But it took a while for her to warm up to him when she first met him. Meanwhile, this is the first time Janus is meeting her and they’re already getting along really well.

The sleepover activities included watching movies, playing video games, and just chatting. During the movies, Patton noticed how close Remus and Janus got to each other. Janus was resting his head on Remus’ shoulder and Remus wrapped his arm around Janus’ shoulder. Patton’s heart ached at the sight since Remus used to let him rest his head on his shoulder during movie nights.

That night, Patton couldn’t fall asleep. He kept thinking about how his crush clearly liked Janus. This thought hurt, but Patton wanted to be happy for Remus. Remus was his friend after all. And he probably wouldn’t be the perfect lover for Remus anyway…

Remus liked to talk about Janus a lot now whenever Patton hung out with him. Remus would talk about how he and Janus have so much in common. They both have similar music tastes and like the same types of horror movies. And Janus is comfortable letting him vent about his intrusive thoughts when they become too much to handle alone.

Was that all it took to win Remus’ heart? Just having enough common interests and being able to listen to him vent? Patton wished he could meet these standards if that was the case. But he can’t change himself that much.

Patton wishes his crush would go away, so he’d stop feeling heartbroken every time he saw Janus and Remus spending time together. But maybe if Patton kept waiting, Remus might end up falling for him still. After all, Remus and Janus aren’t dating. And Remus hasn’t even confirmed that he has a crush on Janus. So maybe this jealousy and worry is all for nothing….

A few days before the last day of school, Remus pulled Patton and Roman aside on their way to the cafeteria for lunch.

“Hey Pat, Ro, there’s something important I have to tell you two…” Remus says, and fidgets with the bottom of his shirt.

“What is it Re? Should I be worried? I don’t see you acting this serious often ....” Roman asks, his voice sounding both curious and concerned.

Remus takes a deep breath before replying, “Well since you two are my best friends I just wanted to tell you that I have a crush on Janus. And I want to confess today, so that way if it goes badly I won’t have to see him for a while since the last day of school is soon. And I wanted to ask you both for advice on how to confess.”

Roman smiles brightly and says, “It’s about time you act on your feelings! I noticed your crush a long time ago and I was starting to think I’d have to knock some sense into you to get you to confess.”

Patton is speechless. His fear came true. Remus has feelings for Janus and is going to confess today. And there’s nothing else he can do to try and win Remus over. So Patton fakes a smile and replies, “I’m so happy for you Remus! And I’d love to offer you some advice.”

Patton and Roman then help Remus plan out his confession.

As Remus takes Janus by the hand at the end of the school day to go and confess, Patton watches with teary eyes. He knows Janus will say yes and Remus will get the happy ending he deserves.

Later that night, Patton sees a notification from the group chat on his phone. It’s from Remus.

[Remus 💚🐙: Guess what everyone! Janus and I are dating now :D]

Patton immediately shuts off his phone and starts to cry. He will never be what Remus wants in a partner. He’ll always just be a friend.

Maybe he’ll never be the perfect lover for anyone….

Authors note: I wrote Janus and Remus for this one!! Which is why this took a tad longer than usual lol

⚠️ Warnings ⚠️: Remus making dirty comments

👑 Roman 👑

-Oooh writers block with Roman is ALMOST non existent

-He’s creativity after all so he would come up with the most extravagant things

-Would definitely use this as an opportunity to spend time alone with you in the Mindscape place and create whatever came to mind to help inspire you

-DAYDREAM MODE ACTIVATED

-He’ll do EVERYTHING to help you beat writers block, which also gives him an excuse to be as dramatic as possible

-Aww I also feel like the moment he has an idea he doesn’t even say anything he just rushes to the nearest writing utensil and writes it down before he forgets

-Just know asking for Romans help with writers block will have you both exhausted but happy

-exhausted mainly because of all the running around and happy that you both got to do all that together

-You definitely got an idea about what to write

💙 Logan 💙

-ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT WHEN YOU ASK HIM FOR HELP WITH WRITERS BLOCK

-Obviously calm and collected on the outside but on the inside he is so darn happy

-It just makes him feel very important and will take it very seriously

-He’ll research various topics with you, look at art/pictures, take notes of things, etc.

-Expect so. much. info dumping.

-But hey it really does help with drumming up some good ideas

-By the end of it, you’ll have like more than 5 pages worth of notes to help you with your writers block

-He’ll somehow even throw out MORE ideas as he helps you write whatever it is that you’re writing

-Literally a human grammarly so he’s always pointing out where you can improve your grammar

-Likes to compliment certain parts of your work in order to keep you motivated tho

-If you drink coffee, your both probably buzzing off of the amount of caffeine you guys drank during the reasearch

🍪 Patton 🍪

-At first he’ll ask, “what’s writers block?”

-Once you explain it tho, he’ll try drumming up any ideas on how to help

-I feel like his idea of getting you inspired will be stuff like, talking a walk to maybe help clear your head or baking/ cooking something for you

-Probably takes you to his room hoping that all the nostalgic stuff he has in it will help

-He’s trying his best lol

-He’ll probably get distracted with the things in his room and has to be constantly reminded of the task at hand

-Somehow that helps?? Like seeing him organically do stuff and not trying to help you get inspired, helps with the writers block

-With Patton it just really depends if he does or says something that somehow triggers inspiration

-Gives you cookies and milk as you work once you get past writers block

💜 Virgil 💜

-Once you ask him, you both probably sit on his bed trying to think of something

-Till Virgil suggests you listen to some music that will help you

-He puts on ALL his favorite albums

-Puts on Paramore, MCR, Evanescence, and probably the soundtrack of his favorite musicals/movies

-Probably suggests watching some movies to hopefully get inspired

-Tries not to panic when it doesn’t seem to work

-But it does work since you both end up talking in depth about the movies and songs

-It ends up being a veryyyyy long conversation since he’s very passionate about his interests

-And you love listening to him

-Once you sit down and get to work on the thing you wanna write, he’s there sitting with you to help bounce ideas off one another

-Kinda like Logan, will be vibrating from the amount of coffee he’s drank

-Once you asked him to help with writers block, he helped you through the whole day

-And I mean, the whole day

-You’re just both very relieved you finally got through writers block

🐍 Janus 🐍

-“You must be truly desperate to come to me for help.”

-Ok Loki nobody asked for ur opinion

-Will reluctantly help (he would love to help he’s just being janus. he’s actually jumping with joy on the inside that you asked him for help)

-He’ll probably try telling you stories that are completely made up to hopefully get ur creative juices flowing

-Yes he goes through the effort to make up stories to tell you

-Probably will take you to the library to help research various topics

-Why not just look it up? Bc he likes the quiet atmosphere

-Not at all bc he wants to put actual effort into helping you

-He’s gonna be a diva about it tho

-Surprisingly is very keen on helping you get motivated and when you think about giving up, he simply won’t allow it

-He gets you up and running

-Probably promises to get you something as a reward for getting through writers block

-One of the few times he’s not actually lying

-Once you do come up with an idea, he’ll probably make little sassy remarks about your work

-Know he doesn’t actually mean it, he just says it on instinct

-Oh and your reward? He can’t bring himself to give it to you in person so he just leaves it somewhere he knows you’ll find it

💚 Remus 💚

-Oh gosh, you almost regret asking him for help with writers block

-Bc he will go into gremlin mode and just do the most out of pocket things ever

-“To help your creative - and other- juices flow!!” he says

-Immediately gets hit upside the head for that little comment

-But, anyways, if you need help writing some messed up stuff or something; he’s the best guy for the job

-Just imagine him being as extra as Roman but much more…disturbing

-He won’t stop making dirty jokes/comments through the whole thing

-But he surprisingly does a good job at helping you out with writers block

-Of course you both will most likely get sidetracked bc Remus is being Remus

-Just know you you’ll be both disturbed but entertained when it comes to asking Remus for help
