I think that my cats love it when I eat an edible cause then I get really focused on petting them indefinitely. Some of them like ear rubs, some like back massages, some like head scratches, and if you know exactly what the cat likes, you can just keep petting them indefinitely. Its perfect. The cat will tell you to fuck off when you're done. The best part is that I have 6 cats. I can pet them all. Noodle usually doesn't want attention but I did it just now because she needs to know I love her. Mostly she likes pets around the head/face/neck. She is the shyest kitty. Tiny. Calico. I can tell her apart from Pasta cause she has pure solid black fur on most of her face, with some brown/orange in the bottom corner of her face like a little sunset. Pasta has mostly brown on her face.

I was going to post, but figured I could take a picture of Noodle, cause she is right next to where I am sitting. I got the photo via just making clicking noises and she posed for me. Also I gave her a quick head scritch (she didn't want me to do that, so it was a quick one cause I stopped when she asked me to). Then she went back to her nap. She was more curious about me getting her attention than wanting attention herself. So she's napping now, and I'm posting this, so that was our brief transaction.

International Cat Day

August 8 is International Cat Day — a day to celebrate one of man’s most common and ancient pets. They have even been worshiped as gods (we see you, Egypt.) Well, it is not surprising, Cats are one of the coolest beings on the planet: they are independent, inquisitive, adventurous, have an amazing physiognomy, and the power to heal by themselves — at least most of the time.

When is International Cat Day 2022?

Our enigmatic furry felines are celebrated on International Cat Day 2021 on August 8.

History of International Cat Day

Cats are carnivorous small furry mammals — for the most part — with four legs, a tail, and claws, that humans have domesticated as pets since ancient times, even though they have descended from the African Wildcat and they used to catch vermin.

The first historical human record about cats could be found in Ancient Egyptian Civilization’s culture. We all seem to relate cats with Egyptians, because of their adoration and consideration of cats as gods. Mafdet was the first known cat deity and was regarded as the protector against snakes, scorpions, and evil during the First Dynasty, so for them, cats were not just deities, but also protectors.

Later, after the Egyptian Dynasty collapsed, Cats became popular everywhere! Greeks and Romans used them as pest control, and in the East, cats were originally owned by rich and wealthy people. But during the Middle Ages, in Europe, Cats became associated with superstition and suspected of carrying the disease during the Black Death of 1348, that is the reason why too many cats got killed in that era, and it wasn’t until the 1600s that cats’ reputation started to recover.

In America, cats were part of the cargo on the colonization ships to minimize vermin and disease, so those cats went ashore and flourished. Nowadays, cats seem to be one of the pop icons in modern society – we have about half of a billion among us. And, since 2002, thanks to the “International Fund for Animal Welfare” cats have their own holiday!

Coming to the end

I wonder if there wasn't a "one Jughead love story per issue" rule in effect, especially as they were rolling toward puncturing the whole affair. This story slides into the cover dated Jan 1990 Archie's Pals 'N Gals. A logical place where it could have gone would have been the April 1990 Jughead -- except that had regularly scheduled programming disrupted so instead they could have an issue long Batman parody from Robert Loren Fleming and Gene Colan and cash in on the dying whisps of Batmania. The two issues thereafter conclude this chapter of the cat-stroking cuddly Jughead. And in a thematic sense this one precedes the Feb 1990 Jughead romance story -- this here is the high Joani and Debbie's infatuation point, both clamoring well aware and happy to see the other one. The story in the next Jughead sees a logical follow on this relation as one of them heads off with another guy in a sort of "Hey! You just said it was great to have two lovers!" fit of polyamorous logic. And then, after that, the break ups and the end.

"Reggie!! Lay off my favorite customer!" does follow the insult that is "shy a lot of things! Mostly Brains!". It does not follow the non horrible " Go Figure!". The revision produces something of a continuity error. To be sure the original Pop Tate and Betty comment in that last panel is ham-handed, they are leaning into the audience pleaing -- "right, kids?"

Late starter. Right. 48 years, actually. Suspicious. Sure. And in an earlier installment of the altered universe, Jughead thought through the implications that Debbie and Joani kind of have crushes on him. Such that brings us here. Consider this in the context of the two universes -- the original production and the altered version ham handedly erasing Jughead and "romance".
