Piaoming’s reactions for The Untamed

Wassup people! For my own personal re-watching purposes, I decided to organise Piaoming’s reactions for The Untamed on a google doc here.

(EDITED: It might be a bit funky on the computer itself, it works on mobile and Chrome but not the incognito, and it seems like it doesn’t work on Firefox)

I know he posted it on a few different platforms but this one’s all the Weibo links, because they are the most complete. On other platforms, some stuff are missing or the videos are shortened. It’s all good cos he subbed it all in English (such effort and dedication!).

I made this because, for my life, I have no idea how to navigate properly through Weibo accounts. How does it even work? I go all over the place and I suffered for it, especially when I’m on mobile. And so I’ve gone and done it (put all the links in this doc in an order that I can understand) and decided that I might as well share with you folks therefore I added a few notes too :)  

It should be organised according to his watching order by date, so you have a better understanding of the comments he made.

I wanted to put it on Twitter too but I’m having a heck of a difficult time trying to create an account for this. I have no idea why. So well at least, I’m able to put this out on Tumblr.

Rewatching this makes me realise how heavy Wei Wuxian's responsibility actually is. Both Mr and Mrs Jiang entrusted their children's life to him, even though he was not much older than Jiang Cheng.

His quick decision to give his core to Jiang Cheng is the proof of how serious he take that promise and responsibility.

Even before at Lotus Pier he'd give his right hand in a heartbeat if it comes to that.

On another note, this youtuber Piaoming, is really fun to watch. Extremely recommended!!! Watching Chen Qing Ling with someone who haven't watch or read Mo Dao Zu Shi is so refreshing and i get to feel the excitement all over again. And his reaction towards Lan Zhan and Wei Ying's 'brotherhood' in the live action is so funny. He'd enjoy the OMG OMG OMG moments and then he'd be back to say it's not BL, only love between families and brotherhood.

Protip: when ur lazy and still wanna engage with yr target language? Watch a reaction video to a show in that language! The show audio will still be the same but now subs are too small to see and u probably won't look at them much cause you'll be watching the reactor

(This is a joke! I know it's not really much different than watching the show with english subs. I WILL say though I credit my ability to follow word of honor audio despite all the phrases I know my ass doesn't know outside of woh, because I rewatched it like 3 times then also heard it so much in reactor videos I got a lot better at hearing the full lines without subs. But yeah realistically it's just fun light exposure to the language at a given time if u say still wanna hear some words and keep ur recognition fresh but ur too tired to commit to a new show or reading or do some study at that moment)

U can also find a reaction TO ur show by a reactor who speaks ur target language! Which it's kinda fun exploring all the reactors tbh (thai especially there's a lot of cool reactors, but I also remember for The Untamed and Word of Honor there's a lot of Chinese speaking reaction videos I ended up watching - I recommend Straight Guys react to Word of Honor, and piaoming). Bilibili and weibo also have some reactors who post, if u happen to go looking. When Not Me was airing a girl was reacting and keeping up with it on weibo!
