Foxglove and elderflower; foxglove is such an interesting plant, it contains the toxin Digitalis that is used as medicine for people with heart conditions, it’s a much sought after garden plant in towns and cities, and it widely regarded as somewhat as either a pest or not worth bothering about in the countryside.

Elderflower is much more useful on a day-to-day basis! The flowers can be used to make syrups with, and I’ve heard of people frying the (washed) flowers in butter with a little flour to make elderflower fritters. Never tried it myself but I think I will next time!
