Whoever is the owners of both Pledis and Hybe around the time Hybe bought Pledis were pretty friendly and cool with each other.

Pledis was going under, a sinking ship, and Hybe saw potential in Seventeen, so they saved them. They may have specifically set their sights on Seventeen, wanting to specifically keep Seventeen alive. Hybe may not have cared for any other artist under the label except them.

Probably bc Seventeen was a guaranteed profit

SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan Mentions ASTRO’s Moonbin In The Group’s Emotional 2023 “MAMA Awards” Speech

The speech was emotional in many ways for the members, idols, and fans.

SEVENTEEN recently gained attention after their emotional speech at the 2023 MAMA Awards following their big win for “Best Album” with FML.

While it was all extremely heartwarming, netizens couldn’t hide their emotions when member Seungkwan mentioned his best friend, ASTRO‘s Moonbin.

Along with fellow 98′ liners VIVIZ‘s SinB and many more, Seungkwan and Moonbin’s friendship has always been loved by fans.

During their speech, netizens noticed that Seungkwan gave a special mention to Moonbin.

The entire speech was extremely emotional, and the members made sure to mention everyone close to their hearts. CARATs couldn’t hide their tears as Wonwoo mentioned that he had another thing to brag about to his mother, who sadly passed away in 2022.

During Seungkwan’s speech, where the idol got very emotional, he made sure to thank all the artists and idols attending, no matter whether they were junior or senior.

Toward the end of the speech, Seungkwan explained, “I don’t know if I can say this but…”

The idol then explained that a lot had happened that year…

Seungkwan then went on to say that Moonbin was someone who supported SEVENTEEN and their music throughout their career, and he thanked him for everything. Unsurprisingly, the members were also very emotional.

I want to thank my friend Bin who really loved and supported our team.

While fans got emotional at Seungkwan mentioning Moonbin, it was at this point that LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakuraand Eunchae were also spotted crying.

After the speech, netizens worldwide couldn’t hide their emotions as they heard Seungkwan speak about his best friend. For so many K-Pop fans, Moonbin has always been such an important part of their lives and the past year has been difficult.

I've read so many times that he's quite kinky

Jeonghan needs a lot of freedom and space in a relationship, so he's not really the type to be texting/calling his partner very quickly. He's a pretty bad texter sometimes like he'll forget that he didn't respond because he thought he responded in his head. Jeonghan usually is quite busy with his schedule so he does cherish the time he has with a partner when he's dating. However, with that being said, he's someone who once he's busy will just focus on his tasks at hand and not mind his relationship, so there'll be times where it feels like he's running hot and cold.

Jeonghan's partner needs to be very independent like they'll have to be ok with him not texting/calling for a week plus. Jeonghan also is more of a practical type in a relationship so if let's say his partner is sick and Jeonghan is overseas, he's not going to drop his bags/work to fly over to see them and look after them. He'll just tell them to go see a doctor, take meds, sleep, drink water etc. He can't be there for his partner a lot of times due to his work and he expects his partner to be independent enough to look after themselves like actually be a mature, responsible adult.

Jeonghan won't be coddling/babying anyone in a relationship. He's not very sweet or romantic so if his partner tells him about a problem, he's not going to be like awww that sucks. He'll more likely assess the problem and then propose a solution. Sometimes his partner will feel a bit annoyed with this approach because they aren't telling him these things for him to give a resolution. They're telling him these things because they just want someone to listen/sympathsize with them.

Jeonghan can feel kind of aloof/distant/not very attached in a relationship. He's not going to be the type that will start dating and then lets his dating affect his work. He can separate his personal feelings from work quite well.

I don't really see Jeonghan having a very high s*x drive. Yes sometimes he'll be in the mood, but he's not the sort that requires a ton of s*x. He doesn't require a lot of physical intimacy/affection to feel loved in a relationship. In a way, his relationships feel sort of like colleague/colleague mixed with friendship like they each help each other in some way.

She nibbled on the tip of her pen's cap, her brows scrunched as she looked at the question in front of her,

"Well Sn1 reactions form a stable carbocation so, I believe it's option C due to minus inductive effect of phenyl group," she spoke, stretching the worksheet towards the black haired guy who silently sipped on his coffee.

"Thankyou," he whispered with a gentle smile, "I almost thought that my own tutor wasn't aware of the answer." He jested, kicking her leg under the table as she groaned in annoyance.

"I'm not a PhD in chemistry! I'm still just a student."

"I know that, you don't have to explain it," he spoke up, marking the option correct and moving forward to next question.

"Annoying," the girl muttered under her breath as she tried to focus on her physics homework, not noticing the hurt expression the guy passed to her.

He tried to focus on his work, but he just couldn't,

'Am i really that annoying?'

He wondered as he started sulking, yet trying to finish his work, his gaze focused on the girl in front of him for a moment as he clicked his tounge,

'She was the one who wanted that extra credit and agreed to teach me after teacher asked her to, I didn't ask her about it exclusively.'

Soonyoung thought as he started doing his work again, thinking that the girl just had a bad day.

y/n on the other side wasn't able to ignore his sad stares, and the way his face had dulled after she had called him annoying, she didn't want to be rude but she didn't like being interrupted while she was studying, hence she chose a library to study instead of a cafe.

She bit her lips as her hand dug into her bag and she pulled out a bar of chocolate, breaking it into half she pressed one of the halves towards Soonyoung, who looked at her with crossed eyebrows.

"You want to share food?" He asked, suspicion visible in his eyes.

"I am sorry," she muttered as she looked away from him, embarrassed to even look at him in the eye.

"At least try to seem apologetic," he rolled his eyes, accepting the chocolate nonetheless.

"I am apologetic!"

"You're apologizing because i looked sulky, not because you regretted your actions." He spoke up again, tease lacing his voice.

"No! But, you do accept that you were sulking on that comment."

"Why wouldn't I?" He asked, genuinely curious.

"Well, who am I to judge if you're annoying?" y/n answered truthfully, she had always thought that he was a cheerful and confident guy, who didn't give any second thoughts towards someone else's opinions.

"I do love myself, but statements from friends can hurt sometimes," Soonyoung spoke flatly, taking a bite out of his chocolate; "More so, when the friend genuinely means it."

"I never meant it," y/n said, visibly confused and shocked, "I am sorry, i didn't think that you could take it to heart." She said, averting her eyes as Soonyoung looked at her with a small smile.

"It's alright y/n, it doesn't matter," he said, passing on half of his cheesecake to her, "Don't be like that, i don't like it when you're guilty or sad."

"Someone's whipped," she lifted her head, a grin visible on her face as Soonyoung rolled his eyes and pulled the cake towards himself.

"You just lost the privilege of that," he muttered as y/n laughed lighty.

"It's alright, i know you love cheesecakes."

Soonyoung's eyebrow quirked up as she focused on her work again;

"You know that i like cheesecake?"

"You order it almost everytime," she replied back, ticking one of the mcqs.

"Do you know my coffee order though?"

"Iced Americano with vanilla pump?"

"Wow, you're observant," Soonyoung exclaimed as he sipped on his drink.

"I know right, it's hard being me," she whispered.

Taking that as a clue to focus on his own work, Soonyoung stopped trying to initiate any type of conversation with her, even if he was itching to do so, he didn't want to waste any more of her time; being a top student consistently seemed like a hard job in itself. But, he couldn't help and steal glances of her, the way her hairs cascaded down and framed her face, the way her eyes would squint slightly as she tried to figure a question out, Soonyoung didn't miss any of it.

It wasn't until half an hour had passed that she spoke, "Soonyoung?"

"Yeah?"

"You aren't a particularly dumb student, i mean you're quiet capable, why did you require tutoring?" She asked, a light pink dusting her cheeks which didn't go unnoticed by the boy.

"Well, i have just been busy in my extra curriculars, that's all... The teacher herself didn't want my grades to perish because of that, so she advised me to find a tutor," he replied, smiling at the fact that she seemed interested in knowing him.

Her mouth turned into an O shape as she nodded meekly, looking away from the boy and fidgeting with her pen.

Soonyoung wanted to joke and tease her about her nervousness but he thought against it, it was entertaining to see a usually confident and straightforward person be nervous even for a short while.

"Let's do it at a cafe, next time," y/n spoke, her eyes finding their way back to his.

For someone who seemed nervous, she was pretty blunt with her request, although that request really wasn't something to be shy about?

"Sure, do you want to try out new environment?" Soonyoung asked.

This time y/n groaned, her eyes held embarrassment as she spoke, "Even though i would love to admit that it was the change of environment which i needed, i would be lying, it's just that study dates are more common in cafes."

Soonyoung's eyes widened as he looked at her with stark pleasant surprise, "Date?" He asked.

"Aren't you too annoying? You have the audacity to look like that and make my heart jump beats, please, i know it's not really professional of me but, i did— I... I was—"

Soonyoung gently held her hand as he caressed her knuckled with his thumb, a small grin highlighted on his face as he urged her to continue.

"You're just so annoying cute that i want to cry whenever i see you," she finished with a sigh, burying her face in her hands as she refused to meet his eyes.

"I never thought you found me cute—"

"Oh yeah? And now you're a fucking tease—"

"Since when were things 'professional' between us? You just choose to ignore all my advances, whether they may be for building friendship or flirting," he whined, pouting slightly.

"Oh so i wasn't dreaming?"

"You're fucking beautiful, do you know that?"

"Does that mean you like me?"

"I feel as if you're the dumb one here," Soonyoung muttered as he leaned forward, "Can i kiss you?"

She smiled with a small 'yes' as he gently pecked her lips for some split seconds, remembering that they are "studying" in a public place.

"Why you little shit tease—"

"Ahem ahem."

A cough resonated around their table as the receptionist of the library looked at them with disappointment in their eyes,

"I thought, you kids were studying all these weeks but it were just study dates."

"No! We really—"

"Keep it down," the receptionist mouthed as a slight smile tinted their face, they turned around and gently whispered,

"I will let you off the hook today, but next time, don't come into library for pda."

y/n heaved a sigh of releif as she gazed at soonyoung again, who stared at her with a foolish smile,

"You know, my stagename is Hoshi."

"Hoshi?"

Soonyoung stood up and closed his and y/n's books, helping her arrange her back he whispered in her ear,

"On our next date, i will tell you just how beautiful i find you to be and anything you want to know about me."

"Anything?" She asked.

"Anything," he replied as he kissed her cheek.

What is Shinyus ideal type? ♡

Disclaimer: Everything is based on tarot and my intuition. I don't know these idols personally. Take everything that I say with a grain of salt. Let's get started! :)

He isn't very specific with his ideal type. But as of what I can pick up is that he likes cute people. Just people that go with a normal style rather than boom stuff.

Someone who looks kinda like him. Round face, pink/red lips. Someone who has 'young' looks.

I don't know how to describe it but he would rather like people with a more confy style with very neutral colours than the ones that wear very dark and outstanding colours. Idk but grunge and like the colour red is coming to my head.

He likes it if somebody is just chic, not that hard to notice but still special.

His ideal type would mean it. He would like to find the one in his life, and he isn't very risky. He dates to find the one that will stay on his side for his whole life.

Shinyu seems to like people that stand up for themselves. Someone who does things alone and isn't dependent on others.

Idk why, but throughout this reading, I heard 'introvert' and 'quiet' a lot. I'd say he likes someone chill and very calm. He doesn't like to argue, and he also seems to be very soft and would like his partner to be the same.

He is also open for a lot of races, but he would be the most comfortable with koreans.
