relationship status: single but sometimes i invent a little romance for myself in my head which is fun until i have to confront the fact that it’s made up!!! that part is less fun 

favorite color: ummm my ~power color~ is red but i also like pink and yellow

three favorite foods: a very fancy bagel (lox or salmon roe or whitefish salad), my poké bowl (including pickled mango), aaaaaaand pasta 

top 3 tv shows: considering how much tv i watch this is a surprisingly hard question to answer!!! i guess i’m not much of a rewatcher unless i’m showing something to somebody. but sweet/vicious for sure is one of my fave shows that ended too early that i always try and make people watch. i don’t think it is like a “””good””” “””show”””” per se but i’m always excited for an episode of 911 or 911 lonestar lol. aaaaaaaand let’s go with a league of their own bc it made me weep several times. honorary shout out to yellowjackets. will bump it up if they commit to shauna/jackie’s gay feelings for each other being canon.

last movie watched: the menu halfway!! i’d already seen it but was skimming for reasons. but before that it was m3gan lol because i had to show it to people!!! and last weekend i watched a whole bunch of other spooky movies with my friends. 

last thing i googled: technically it was “how to see google search history” but before that and anything else related to this game it was “young angie will trent” lol

dream trip: idk!!!!! i am not really a trip planner unless it is a trip to see people. maybe a road trip all over the us to see all kinds of different places and people. that probably would be the dream actually.

anything i really want right now: FOR MY FAVORITE OVERALLS TO BE FIXED. FOR A NEW PAIR OF MY FAVORITE OVERALLS. THEY RIPPED IN THE THIGHS BC I AM TOO SEXY JUICY AND I GOT THEM PATCHED AND THEY RIPPED ALONG THE PATCH AND NOW I’M LIKE!!!!!! WHAT AM I GONNA DO. DO I GET THEM PATCHED AGAIN. HOW LONG CAN THIS CYCLE LAST. WHY CAN’T AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS SELL THESE OVERALLS AGAIN. I WILL BUY 47 PAIRS SO I CAN HAVE THEM UNTIL THE END OF MY DAYS IF ONLY THEY WOULD LET ME.

I drew Annie, one of the villains from the fifth Pokémon film (my personal favourite), just because I find it comforting to draw this devilish woman (and her sister). I wanted to reflect her awesome athleticism a bit in her physique, and also throw in her Espeon's Poké Ball and that calling card from the two thieves' opening scene.

Mommie has one of her museum tours this morning, Christina, and there's simply not going to be time to play this afternoon. You don't really understand what I'm talking about, do you? A museum, well, you've expressed that you're way too young to have any interest in that, and that would be challenging for you even in English, given the level you're still at... cuddling with My Lil' Bronie and all that... and, well!, reading it in French as I had to today, impossible! I'm glad you're still longing to go out for football and think you had a mean Mommie because I wasn't about to cart you off to that, but flag football is a far cry from the adult world of business and museums.

Also, Mommie has one of her international jazz festivals, which begins tonight and is going on for weeks so there simply will not be time to play. You must understand that, but you've got plenty of other children around to play with so I'm sure you can manage to keep yourself amused.

Oh, the things I have to do to keep this ship running... I was just out shopping for groceries, another item your loving parents have blissfully removed from your obligations until you're of adult age... Mommie has one of her sinus headaches and just really is not in the mood to be frittering the day away on a child's notions of recreation.

Not to even mention I have to prepare for Canada Day and finish up these eight books I've started -- these are adult books, Christina, many of them in French, and certainly the English ones would challenge you... especially this book by Annie Marquier on The Power of Free-Will, which you're desperately in need of, constantly looking to your no-good, absentee father Donald for every notion of how to behave... falling back on him like a crutch and letting him do the thinking for you... which is going to get you nowhere in the long run, as that man never did have a good head on his shoulders.

Anyhow be a good girl and by the end of the day I'll have a shiny new bauble for you... I can come up with 1000 words of creative fiction, I suppose, just like I did all the time when you were younger... for you see, I've been writing for pleasure since before you were born, and it used to ever so amuse you to see what I'd come up with... but Mommie's a very busy person and you have to start shouldering some more responsibility if you are ever to succeed in the world outside of what your parents can do for you... but yes, Just This Once, Christina, I'll bring you a story later and you can read it before your bedtime if you'd like.

Otherwise, as I noted, I'll be at the jazz festival. Hopefully one day, even if you cannot appreciate museums, you'll learn to appreciate the value of immersing yourself into cultures that extent beyond this suburban environment we've so lovingly provided for you -- and one you've failed to make the most out of, I'm afraid -- there's a great big world out there, Christina, one which includes art forms such as jazz. At the very least, even if you can't understand or relate to it yet, listening to it might help you have insight into why we grown-ups are the way we are. For heaven's sake, nobody in the adult world is going to take you seriously if you want to discus the soundtracks to your Legend of Zelda games with them! Nor will they want to discuss what sort of 'feels' a 'bro' gets when they 'did a thing' by listening to that Poké -- we're not even talking about the kind you can eat -- no, the kind with that yellow rat or racoon -- anyway, nobody will ever take you seriously, Christina, unless you put down these joysticks we bought you and grow up a little.

L’albero a Domicilio

Le applicazioni di delivery in generale secondo noi non hanno una discrepanza tra l’uso effettivo e l’uso previsto proprio perché nascono con l’intento di facilitare l’acquisizione di cibo senza muoversi da casa. Così anche Deliveroo, applicazione da noi scelta, non porta con sé delle discrepanze.

Molte persone hanno iniziato a conoscere e ad usare queste applicazioni soprattutto durante il lockdown nel 2020 a causa del Covid-19. Ora, molte persone hanno mantenuto l’uso di queste applicazioni perché facilitano e velocizzano l’arrivo del cibo voluto in qualsiasi luogo in cui ci si trova.

I designer di questa applicazione hanno ideato questa tecnologia facendo riferimento ad un target per lo più giovane, che fosse abile nell’uso di applicazioni telefoniche. 

Tuttavia, essendo un'applicazione di delivery di cibo, questa presuppone che non vi sia un target specifico in termini anagrafici, quanto più dell’interesse legato alla consegna di cibo a domicilio.

Il design di questa tecnologia è semplice e intuitivo. Infatti tramite delle icone si può decidere il tipo che desideri, il ristorante da cui ordinare, vedere tramite la mappa la vicinanza del locale scelto. Negli ultimi anni la scelta si è amplificata in base anche alle richieste del mercato come i poké, sushi e catene di fast food come McDonald's , Burger king. 

Per usare questa applicazione l’utente deve avere una connessione internet, saper scaricare un’applicazione dal suo dispositivo mobile, inserire i dati della carta di credito, la localizzazione corrente e la conoscenza della lingua dell’app. Dal punto di vista del capitale sociale, le persone devono essere predisposte a ordinare del cibo tramite un'applicazione. Infatti, ad esempio in Italia la cultura del cibo è molto radicata per cui le persone legate alla propria tradizione saranno meno propense ad ordinare delivery, a differenza di quanto accade in grandi metropoli (es. NYC).

Per quanto riguarda le competenze culturali abbiamo fatto riferimento alla lingua: infatti si possono riscontrare delle discrepanze tra la lingua dell’app e quella dell’utente, che potrebbero impossibilitarlo ad usarla.

L’applicazione offre tutti i tipi di cucine sia occidentale che orientale in relazione al luogo in cui vivi. I bias li riscontriamo non nell’applicazione stessa ma nel trattamento dei lavoratori , i cosiddetti riders che consegnano il cibo a domicilio. Infatti, essi sono per lo più di gender maschile e afro-americano, come mezzo di trasporto usano solitamente la propria bicicletta perché l’azienda non offre loro mezzi aziendali. A volte lavorano in condizioni meteorologiche sfavorevoli e le consegne sono fatte in modo frenetico per non perdere posizione nelle classifiche interne dei riders. Il nostro gruppo ha sperimentato questa applicazione ma la maggioranza di noi preferisce cucinare a casa o  andare direttamente a mangiare al ristorante.  Alcuni utenti hanno riscontrato come difficoltà il rintracciamento di alcuni ristoranti non affiliati all’applicazione e di conseguenza non poter ordinare.

Questa applicazione in alcuni paesini è presente ma non arriva il servizio poiché è troppo lontano dai ristoranti.

In riferimento ai servizi di consegna a domicilio queste applicazioni sono state create da costruttori che hanno compreso la necessità delle persone di mangiare a casa cibo da ristorante, senza dedicare troppo tempo alla cucina o che non hanno voglia di farlo.

Queste applicazioni necessitano innanzitutto di cavi sottomarini, di una connessione wireless, di server, di servizi di localizzazione sia per la propria posizione in tempo reale che per localizzare i diversi ristoranti o il rider. Inoltre necessita di un servizio di design per strutturare l’app in maniera intuitiva e semplice affinché possa essere adoperata in comodità. 

Di un'affiliazione ad un servizio bancario che permetta di facilitare le transazioni. 

Di un servizio di traduzione, affinchè l’app e il suo contenuto venga tradotto in varie lingue a seconda del paese in cui essa venga adoperata. 

Di un servizio legale che permette di definire le condizioni di contratto, essendo l’atto di compravendita un contratto.

Di un servizio di tracciamento di cookies per permettere all’app di riconoscere le preferenze e le abitudini di consumo dell’utente, per poter sviluppare un’offerta personalizzata.Per funzionare l’app richiede un telefono cellulare, connesso ad internet e che abbia accesso ad uno store online (app o play store) per poterla scaricare. Di una carta di credito intestata al soggetto, o di contanti se il pagamento è al contrassegno. Inoltre, per quanto riguarda i rider le tecnologie necessarie per garantire le consegne sono: macchine, biciclette o altri mezzi di trasporto forniti di gps o di telefono dotato di gps.Tuttavia, la prima funzione necessaria per far funzionare l’applicazione è la registrazione, bisogna infatti fornire un indirizzo email valido e una password, per poter svolgere anche il login per usi futuri.Una policy e un contratto inoltre viene garantita ai lavoratori per la loro tutela fisica e sociale.L’applicazione funziona solo tramite rete e connessione wireless. Tuttavia, qualora l’utente sia in una zona isolata, i ristoranti non verranno presentati sulla mappa in quanto i rider non riusciranno a consegnare gli ordini.In generale sono necessari tutti i requisiti per usare l’app ed effettuare una comanda, come citato sopra.Il tempo massimo di consegna è di 30 minuti, per cui l’utente una volta effettuato l’ordine non avrà necessariamente bisogno di una presa di corrente per il dispositivo, a meno che non sia estremamente scarico.  Qualvolta il dispositivo usato per comandare non dovesse funzionare non sarebbe possibile fare una comanda. Se la comanda fosse già stata effettuata invece l’ordine arriverebbe a destinazione ma non sarebbe possibile confermarne la consegna. La stessa cosa accade in caso di assenza di connessione wifi.

Dopo una lunga attesa, finalmente l'estate 2022 si sta facendo vedere e sentire. E il modo giusto per iniziare a viverla non è difficile da trovare. Potrebbe essere passare il ponte del 2 giugno a Milano Marittima (RA), oziando e ballando al Papeete Beach, con gli amici e/o in famiglia. L'evento è Summer Renaissance, perché di un rinascimento dell'estate abbiamo un po' tutti bisogno, ognuno con il suo stile. 

Da sempre Papeete Beach non è solo beach party: è prima di tutto una spiaggia che fa divertire persone da 0 a 99 anni, a ritmo di musica, cocktail e show. Sole, mare, relax, dj set, lettoni o lettini... e il gioco è fatto. All'equazione perfetta Papeete Beach da quest'estate aggiunge anche il beach restaurant La Pluma. Aperto solo a pranzo, propone specialità romagnole, spesso rivisitate dallo chef campano Vincenzo Caputo.

Papeete Beach è poi appena stato sottoposto ad un restyling: nell'estate 2022 è ancora più bello ed ecosostenibile. Inoltre, i servizi sotto l'ombrellone e nella nuova food court sono all'altezza delle aspettative dei più esigenti: colazione calda o fredda servita al lettino, cucina romagnola che incontra le tendenze internazionali e propone sia piadine gourmet sia poké...

Qualche settimana fa ho disinstallato Pokémon GO dal telefono. Immagino che la maggior parte di voi abbia fatto lo stesso mesi fa. Tutti sapevamo sarebbe successo, le mode così esplosive si bruciano in fretta e Pokémon GO è esploso in maniera esagerata, attirando giornalisti, vip ed altro. Dopo tutto questo tempo penso sia carino fare una recensione postuma del gioco evento della scorsa estate. Gioco che ho potuto iniziare con mesi di ritardo, quando la bolla stava già iniziando a ridursi. I motivi che mi hanno portato a questa scelta li spiegherò a breve. Prima introduciamo l'applicazione dei record. Non essendoci una trama basta sapere che il gioco ti fa diventare un allenatore di Pokémon seguendo il classico iter: un professore esperto di pocket monsters (contratto in pokémon da anni) ci sceglie per dargli una mano a catalogare le creature in giro per il mondo, ci fornisce il nostro primo mostriciattolo per poi iniziare la nostra avventura in giro per il mondo. Il nostro mondo. Insomma il mondo reale! Ho delle premesse da fare: non sono un fan dei giochi su smartphone che ritengo essere dei succhia batteria e dei consuma giga, lasciandomi con il mio mezzo di comunicazione diretto inutilizzabile. Inoltre non sono nemmeno un fan dei pokémon. Il mio rapporto con loro è cominciato con l'anime poi è passato al gioco per GameBoy con una breve deviazione sul gioco di carte. In tutti e tre i casi mi sono stufato velocemente, soprattutto del gioco che trovavo troppo complicato, ripetitivo e con la richiesta di un farming eccessivo (dicesi farming il ripetersi di battaglie al fine di rafforzare il proprio personaggio e poter così affrontare le sfide). Mi mancavano tempo e voglia. Allora cosa mi ha spinto a scaricare GO? Primo perché nella vita è sempre utile provare le cose per valutarle; secondo perché rosicavo dalla curiosità vedendo la mia fidanzata e gli amici che giocavano; terzo poiché dava la possibilità di dedicarsi alla cattura dei mostri senza troppo impegno: dove il gioco classico richiedeva combattimenti per la cattura, GO chiedeva solo di lanciare la sfera poké e prendere la bestiola. Quest'ultima poteva opporre resistenza ma non era impossibile. Tra una cattura e l'altra, si può esplorare il mondo (reale) e incontrare pokéstop ovvero punti geografici dove è possibile rifornirsi oppure lanciarsi alla conquista di una delle svariate palestre in giro per il mondo. La bellezza di Pokémon GO era nella sua interazione col mondo reale grazie alla realtà aumentata e la geolocalizazione. I mostriciattoli erano smistati a seconda della zona in cui ti trovavi (vicino ai corsi d'acqua trovavi gli acquatici, nei prati quelli erba, ecc…), i pokéstop erano legati a punti d'interesse presenti o scelti dai giocatori. Quello che invece ha portato alla perdita di interesse verso l'applicazione, per quella che è la mia esperienza, è un certo livello di staticità e lentezza nell'innovazione. Il gioco, pur mettendoti nei panni dell'allenatore, non ti faceva essere un vero allenatore ma un collezionista di pokémon e palestre. Li trovavi, catturavi, potevi potenziarli o farli evolvere per poi combattere nelle palestre. Questo è tutto. Ciò in tempi lunghi, lunghissimi! Altro difetto era la distribuzione delle creature sul territorio. Da quanto ho sentito si tratta di un problema nazionale che vede una concentrazione di pocket monsters meno frequente e mal distribuita, in Italia, a differenza di altri paesi e nazioni stipate di creature. Perché altrimenti negli USA la questione aveva l'aspetto di una crisi di rincoglionimento supremo con gente che finiva investita in autostrada, bloccava il traffico per Pikachu e rinveniva cadaveri durante la caccia? Ammettiamolo, Pokémon GO non ha mantenuto la promessa di renderci allenatori. Anche dopo le semplificazioni attuate con gli ultimi aggionamenti, i Pikachu facili a Natale e i pokémon rari che apparivano magicamente, l'app ha perso il suo interesse. Qualcuno ancora ce l'ha installato e, di tanto in tanto, cattura qualche mostro ma la pokémania della scorsa estate s'è scaricata come l'andare a comandare e ciò che facevamo da giugno.
