This week I binge watched the Twilight Wings little Pokémon mini series thing all about the Galar region, and it inspired me to redraw an absolutely Ancient drawing of Nessa I did back when the first Swsh trailers were coming out (seriously lol, I went and checked and I drew the original in early 2019)

The old one was Rough lol, it was back when any digital art I did was just done on my phone drawing with my finger lol, but here it is for comparison

NEWS: A new set of plushes by Takara TOMY has been revealed. This set, called Pokemon Peace (short for Pokemon Peaceful Place) is set to release in Japan on October 1st. Along with the standard plushes, a set of smaller keychain versions will also be available.

Alright, more Pokémon! Figured I’d include some blurbs this time to give a better idea of what these Pokémon are in this weird universe.

Chien-Pao:

A rare predator found amongst the frozen peaks of paldea, Chien Pao has been the inspiration of legends regarding haunted swords, thanks to its elusive nature, and massive fangs. It is believed that the increase in size of these fangs has led the Chien Pao population to struggle hunting, hence their range being limited to wherever other predators, such as baxcaliber, cannot reach, typically regions filled with tight crevasses. It will hind whatever it can find, thus travellers must be weary, because while this Pokémon is rare, that doesn’t mean an attack is impossible.

Sneasler:

A predator once found in the rocky areas of sinnoh’s alabaster icelands, Snealser populations in the area have disappeared, having been replaced by their close relative, the Johtonian Weavile, brought by settlers from the south. The current status of the species remains unknown, but the presence of animals such as Basculegion in Kitakami suggests a possibility of survival for the species. It’s foreclaws, which it uses to climb steep rock faces, are notable for their properties of tissue damage recorded during the settlement of Sinnoh. There is a fierce debate amongst experts as to whether this is caused by venom, or just material coating the claws from their frequent use. Similar to their relative Weavile, they prey primarily on Mamoswine.

Houndstone:

Houndstone is a unique canid, possessing long, shaggy fur, and a unique keratinous crest on their head. However, despite their large silhouette, they are quite light beneath the coat of fur. Houndstone typically act as Ambush hunters, leading to some tales in Paldea where the crest was mistaken for a tombstone amongst the snow. Their typical prey include mudsdale and sawsbuck

Tornadus:

A large bird found in Unova and formerly in Sinnoh. This Pokémon is notable for being the inspiration of legends about a wind god, thanks to it’s powerful wings. This bird will hunt whatever it may lift into the air to drop from heights. They are a naturally rare species, which is why it’s suspected they so easily disappeared from Sinnoh.

So ye. Also, regarding legendaries, while the ones here are no longer beings of deific power, that doesn’t mean all of them are no longer gods. For example, groudon is still the god of the land.
