He just wanted a battle, nothing special. Those dragon lovers who live in the cave came for him. In a way, I even feel sorry for him, but Silver is trying to eat sand again, so it doesn’t matter.

This new fashion for hairstyles has affected them too, I honestly don’t see anything beautiful in them. Although my cousin has the same one, I think that's why this hairstyle is ugly.

Imagine this. Clair has been festering up the courage to tell Lance something. She’s fidgeting with her cape and stuff. Her dragonair is slithering around her body, trying to give her its version of a hug. She opens the door, tired because she worked too hard on training her pokemon so much that kingdra fainted. She’s under the impression that Lance is not at home, but when she sees the tv on, she sees him. Clair is just baffled. Twelve hundred pounds dropped on her. The screen just says “game over” in red. Lance grumbles for ten seconds straight. Dragonair gives Clair a reassuring look. Clair takes in a deep breath. She just says, “Lance, I like girls.”

Just right away Lance smiles and hugs her. Clair just breaks down crying. She expects Lance to be furious with her. She asks him why he’s so accepting of her. Lance just says “that would really hypocritical of me wouldn’t it?” Clair’s just stunned.

“Wait, you’re gay too?”

“I’m bi, but close enough.”

Clair stares for a while as Lance just goes back to his video game.

“I thought you’d be mad at me.”

“Why would I? Did you talk about with Grandpa?”

“Yeah.”

“Oh. you’ll be fine. I’ll make sure of it.”

Clair just smiles and picks up a controller. “First to ten wins?”

“You’re on.”

I have a headcanon that Clair and Lance didn’t along too much when they were younger because Clair was a little jealous of him. But now they get along much better and tease each other a lot.

Honestly! This is canon in my eyes!

I always saw Lance and Clair's rivalry as nothing more than just a bit of envy from Clair and how she often sees herself as Blackthorn's #2, (Lance being #1).

It gets to her a lot, sure, but in the end, she knows Lance has nothing against her and is not out to demotivate her goal of beating him, so she returns those emotions and accepts him as family whom she can play around and tease about her status as being "The strongest Dragon Master", even if to her familiarity that it's not quite true. (yet?)

And Pokemas confirms this! She's a little shy about it though haha.
