our two designs for zenith! he’s had a lot of changes, particularly to do with his role in the story

let’s start with his first outfit. in this universe (and in this point in the story), zenith is a well known influencer, model and overall personality. therefore, we gave him some cyberpunk influences, and very vibrant colours (though sticking to his original palette). you may notice his eyes are covered- that’s an important detail and fits in with his powers.

the second outfit is what he wears as leader of the infernal cult and hopeful third augur. it always bothered me how zenith never got an outfit more inspired by his position and legendary, so we amplified the colours to a royal red and purple, overall making him look rather extravagant

he’s also very gender non conforming in my version :) a lot of the characters are queer in some way haha

The funniest fucking thing about Pokemon Insurgence is the Delta Dwebble Cake line. Little guy has been on my team since day one, and has almost always been severely overlevelled since I use him so much. I bring it out almost every fight, and it must be absolutely ridiculous to my enemies. Like:

Nyx: I am the undefeatable champion of the Distortion Realm! I will not let you stop me from restoring my people to their former glory!

Protagonist: haha cake slice go vrooooooooom (defeats half her team with delta crustle)

Or:

Gail: There's no way to stop Zygarde! It's an ultra-powerful life form who will wipe out anything in its path with no mercy-

Delta Crustle: Hold my fork.

I love this lil guy so much.

So I was giving my OCs Pokémon right? And I get to Daven and my brain immediately wants to give him a Deoxys and I had to immediately shut that down because as funny as that would be, truthfully, he does not need one. A Minior and a Hydrapple at most, but a Deoxys is something that would be terrifying.

And then I turn around and give Giovanno a Espurr and a delta Serperior.
