Without waiting for a response to the doorbell chime, the front door swung open. A Wooloo trotted into the living room entrance, its trainer not far behind. "Oh, is that your flash new phone, Bean?"

The redheaded girl turned, resting her arm on the couch cushions as a Mudkip gleefully jumped up beside her. "Huh? Oh, yeah! Been breaking it in this morning. Need somethin', Hop?"

"Were you watching Lee's exhibition match on it?" The boy grinned. "You can't cheer him on with your hands full, yknow! The only way to properly cheer on Lee would be with his famous Charizard pose!"

"Y'know, i wasn't expecting you to be here today..." Bean pointed out. "Isn't today the big day??"

Hop waves his hand in the air. "Yeah but never mind that, I got the match recorded at home anyway! Come with me, Bean! Lee should be here any minute, and he ALWAYS brings presents so I'd bring that bag of yours! Now I gotta run, see ya at mine here in a bit!!"

With that, the boy ran from the room just as fast as he'd entered, the door shutting behind him as he and his Wooloo headed for town.

"Haaaa..." Bean groaned. "How does he have so much energy??"

"Mudkip!"

Bean chuckled. "Yeah, I know. Well, let's get a move on, Mudbud. We don't want to be left out on all the fun, do we?"
