Guess which Wes Anderson project did better with the public, and is currently more popular? Henry Sugar. Now, guess which film project the trolls on Twitter are going gaga about? Asteroid City and every other project BUT Henry Sugar. *Waves to the GLAAD crowd*
Charon thought he was prepared. Prepared to see his beloved puppeteered by pure evil. And yet, when "August" slowly walked towards him, he couldn't move. Couldn't do anything but look into his eyes, now turned red.
What he saw inside of them wasn't August. No, it was the pure embodiment of chaos and despair. But he felt oddly calm, entranced by it.
Was the mayhem that drove him in, or the face he grew used to fall asleep watching? Was it the malice on which the thing made August hold Charon's face that attracted him, or the softness that took him back to all the times those same hands caressed him?
He didn't know. All he knew was that his soft lips were so close. All he knew was that he wanted Charon to kiss him. Was it his beloved August or the ruin incarnate inside of him? Yet again, Charon didn't know. But he kissed him anyway.
The world could burn away, for all he cared. If that meant this moment could last an eternity.
Have you ever thought in adopting? Kino and you will be very good parents 🤭
". . . . . . Huh?"
"What makes you think leaving a child anywhere near Kino is a good idea?"
"He can't even take good care of himself, don't be ridiculous. And what kind of parenting reference are we supposed to take? His? Mine? Forget about it."
"Besides..."
Deep sigh.
"I don't want anyone to call me their mother. Take that idea off your mind."
