Gelsper are small, soft-tissued psuedomorphs, also called ‘Slimes’ or ‘Slime-balls.’ In their neutral state they tend towards a round, but unstructured shape, much like that of a partially deflated ball; though when they enter an excited state, which includes just about any extreme or sudden onset emotion, they will seemingly snap into a more rigid and well defined structure, sometimes these shapes will be simple basic solids, such as cubes or tetrahedrons, while other times they will take more complex shapes such as a concave star (or star domain) polyhedron. Their gel-like composition allows them to be pierced, cut, or otherwise divided without harm, and in many cases they will simply recombine and absorb any pieces separated from them. This too is how they consume nutrients required to sustain themselves, or even grow, by absorbing nutrient sources and digesting it via extended contact with their alkaline tissue. Upon reaching larger sizes, they will often divide or bud as a means of reproduction in order to minimize individual nutrition requirements. In captivity this is less common, as nutrition is typically well provided, as such this reproduction instinct seems to be triggered by famine states. In other words where one large Gelsper may starve, many small ones can spread in search of food, and in doing so, survive.

I was thinking the other day, before the leaks came out, about how Yellow Diamond was probably going to be important soon. I theorized this because I remember people were writing meta about the Psuedomorph of Love cover, and sure enough, Yellow Diamond is on the front with Phos, Lapis, Cinnabar, and Antarc, who've all been pretty darn important. And sure enough, Yellow Diamond makes a triumphant return with "determination". I hope I'm right about their continued importance.

hey Ichikawa thats a fuck ton of gems, I’ve counted and theres about 32 if I am correct

a majority of them are either green, turqoise, blue and purple 

I’m pretty sure Ichikawa has all of this planned, especially since in the middle there are two greenish gems, but those could be phos’ parts but what do i know

here are the gems that were taken to the moon that were mentioned:

pink fluorite (heard theres two fluorites, especially since i looked at the wiki, but i never seen them mentioned, same with aquamarine unless theyre mentioned in psuedomorph of love)

That is 18/32 gems. All of these gems have already been taken to the moon, and since the manga started when Phos turned 300, somewhere in their subconcious they couldve known other gems in those 300 years we never saw.

So most likely all 32 will come back (dont know how Ghost and Antarc will come back since theyre a special case), and also about the ones who’re 4 and under like the fluorites might also have a way of coming back, if they do then phos’ actual parts might come back too

In conclusion: a shit ton of gems are gonna come back to life when the lunarians restore them and the island will be populated like hell
