This is Lola. She is half Pug, half Chihuahua. She is a Chug. She is a Pughuahua. My family calls her many nonsensical nicknames. Choog is our go to and we like to draw it out. Chewwwwwwg. We also call anything remotely awesome choogy. Pronounced Choo-gee. We riff. Lola is choogy. She’s a choogy dog. Who’s that choogy dog? She Lola she. She choogy-doggy. She’s dooog. We can’t stop ourselves. How was your breakfast? Choogy. It makes us happy to say it over and over.

Now apparently some zoomers polluted the internet in 2013 with some new chug word they were using to describe a kind of person, usually millennial, who tries too hard to curate an aesthetic and is not trendy as a result- a cheugy person. Pronounced Choo-gee. I can tell you that makes no sense to me whatsoever. The old me would call that person a doucher or douchebag but the woke side of my hippy-campus is screaming at me not to use that word for anything other than what it is: an actual bag for douching (and since I don’t have a vagina, best not to use the word at all!!).

I guess I’m at a loss for words to describe this type of curator. What if one were just to say tacky? Or Hey milennial, you look weird in those obsessively ironic clothes. Who are these zoomers policing duds anyways? Stop messing with my words!
