Something about the way Rachel and Cutter, who both shrug off identities at the drop of a hat but are constantly driven by this immense thirst for life, dying, while Pryce, a woman who built herself from the ground up and the only one who never changed her name, keeps her life but loses her identity hits me so hard, especially given her parallels with Hera ("I'd rather go as me")—I get the feeling that out of the trio she would've been the one most likely to accept dying if it could've been under her own terms.
