#raise awareness
Hello, Obey Me Fandom. Today, I'm going to talk about a certain problematic person in this fandom.
They're @/snow-owl-oddities. Please report, and block them, so they can get suspended for good.
Mention of Pedophile
Okay, not only they're a proshipper, they also simp over Luke, a CHILD.
This is them responding to an anon calling their behavior out:
Tumblr media
"Baby faced short adults exist" Girlie missed the point 💀
Hold on..... Got another screenshot
Tumblr media
"Last time I checked being a thousand years old doesn't make someone a child" Girlie, your pedophilic ass is smelly.
"Someone's taste in fiction doesn't dictate what they like and believe irl" not them pulling the 'iT's FiCtIoN' excuse
If you want to excuse their creepy ass, I hope you can't.
Obey Me fandom is alive, but it is full of creepy people
Also, they blocked me. So, whoever read this, please raise awareness

i use this blog for fandom purposes only, but i can’t not post about this today.
you probably haven’t heard, but one year ago (28/2/2023), in Tempi (Greece), happened the worst train collision in the country’s history. one of the two trains was full of university students returning to their homes to celebrate a national holiday with their families.
57 of these people never got to their destination. 57 innocent people lost their lives because two trains were in the same train track, and nobody noticed. in greece, in 2023.
some of the people who were presumed dead were never even found. some people were identified through body parts. and guess what? no one has paid yet. not even the minister of transport, who signed a resignation after the crash, but still got added into the parliament during the may 2023 elections.
the same person who, one month before the crash, was biting people’s heads off because they ‘dared to question the safety of the train tracks’ after some workers filed a complaint about the unsafe conditions of the train controls.
everyone who travelled by train in greece before the accident is alive BY LUCK. because the fucking comms were not working. it wasn’t just a temporary issue, they had not been working for YEARS. and let me remind you, the government did nothing to prevent this from happening . how are we, greek citizens, supposed to feel safe in this country when we’re alive by luck??
and no one is talking about this. please raise awareness. the people who lost their lives need JUSTICE.
this is murder and not an ‘accident’
rest in peace to the 57 souls who went so unfairly. we will never forget.

The Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women: An Ongoing Tragedy
Shaina Tranquilino
October 4, 2023
Tumblr media
The issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women is a devastating tragedy that has plagued Indigenous communities for decades. Despite being deeply rooted in the history of colonization, it remains an ongoing crisis that demands immediate attention. This blog post aims to shed light on this heartbreaking reality and urges society to acknowledge, address, and support initiatives aimed at ending the violence.
A Historical Context:
To truly understand the gravity of the situation, we must recognize the historical context in which this epidemic has unfolded. Since European colonization began in North America, Indigenous women have faced systemic discrimination, marginalization, and violence. These injustices persist today as a direct result of centuries-long oppression and the erosion of Indigenous cultures.
Disturbing Statistics:
The statistics surrounding missing and murdered Indigenous women are both shocking and disheartening. According to a 2016 report by the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), there were over 5,700 cases of missing or murdered Indigenous American women recorded in the United States alone. Alarmingly, many believe these numbers may be underestimated due to underreporting or misclassification by law enforcement agencies.
Root Causes:
Numerous factors contribute to this crisis. Poverty, limited access to education and healthcare services, high rates of domestic violence within communities, institutional racism, inadequate law enforcement response, and human trafficking all play significant roles in perpetuating this cycle of violence against Indigenous women.
The Need for Awareness & Advocacy:
Raising awareness about this issue is crucial towards mobilizing action to end it. It requires educating ourselves and others about the plight faced by Indigenous women who continue to disappear or be victimized every day. Social media campaigns like #MMIWG (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls) have played a pivotal role in bringing attention to their stories while demanding justice.
Government Action & Accountability:
Addressing this crisis necessitates a multi-faceted approach. Governments at all levels must take concrete steps to address the root causes of violence against Indigenous women, including improving collaboration between law enforcement agencies, enhancing victim services, and implementing culturally sensitive policies. Additionally, funding programs that empower Indigenous communities and strengthen support systems are essential for long-term change.
Community Empowerment:
Indigenous communities have been fighting tirelessly to protect their women and girls. Supporting grassroots organizations led by Indigenous people who understand the unique challenges faced by their community is crucial in eradicating this issue. By amplifying voices from within these communities, we can ensure that culturally appropriate solutions are implemented while fostering healing and resilience.
The missing and murdered Indigenous women crisis demands urgent attention from society as a whole. Recognizing the historical context, understanding the systemic issues involved, advocating for awareness, holding governments accountable, and empowering affected communities are all integral components of bringing an end to this deeply entrenched tragedy.
To honour the lives lost and prevent future victimization, it is our collective responsibility to stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities and work towards creating a world where every woman feels safe, valued, and protected. Only through unity can we hope to achieve justice for the missing and murdered Indigenous women who deserve nothing less than our unwavering commitment to ending this heartbreaking reality once and for all.

If you have a cell phone, you might be carrying a piece of the Congo, which is in crisis. Donate your time by spreading awareness! Donate relief with the IRC link or another charity, I would love to know if anyone has a particular favorite NGO charity to promote for the Congo!

Let's Talk About Misophonia
In case you don't know, Misophonia is a when you have psychological reactions to certain sounds
Misophonia is different from PTSD because the sounds don't necessarily lead to a thought, but an emotion
People, like myself, with Misophonia, may become physically scared of a certain sound, and may need to escape it. They also may become angry or sad.
One of the big issues about Misophonia is that any sound can trigger a reaction. You may also have a reaction to a sound one day, and no reaction to the same sound the next day. This makes it difficult to avoid. But some common sounds that lead to misophonia are chewing noises or water noises
Misophonia is more common in people with a uterus and usually begins to present itself somewhere around age 12.
If you think you may have Misophonia, you should get yourself checked by a licensed psychologist, but you can take a test here
If you know somebody with Misophonia, make sure to give them the silence they need and to keep others aware of their disorder
REBLOG THIS POST TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT MISOPHONIA

With all the news about Israel and their fucked-up invasion of palestine and the media's indifferent to the whole ideal, I just wanna say
Tumblr media
"Oh no! Obviously, they are just trying to reclaim their "promised land", yes, they are quickly selling it off to Americans and other white rich bastards of the world but... uh... Look they're the good guys, okay? You should feel bad for getting mad at them for committing genocide. Everyone knows Israel needs to commit genocide to exist. Are you saying that Israelis should be ashamed for committing genocide which is literally their only reason to exist? That's kinda cold hearted. Maybe you should take a long and hard time considering the positives of committing genocide."
Okay, sorry about that, sarcastic rant is over. I'm glad you're willing to speak up about the fucked up truth. I know talking about it is only the first step, but frankly not enough people are willing to take that first step. Just like you said the media isn't even willing to bat an eye because both the democrats and the republicans supported Israel one way or another and they don't want to admit it. I'm still going to vote this year but still fuck the US government for helping Israel commit genocide for the sole reason that it will benefit rich bastards in the long run. The sad part is that's also part of the reason they want to pass a law that will get rid of TikTok and use the law to regulate what we say on ALL media outlets. This is why I hate Capitalism; money will always matter more than people's rights or even their lives. It doesn't matter how good intentioned you are, if your government is run on any form of capitalism, it will eventually lead to corruption and that corruption never goes away. Like mold it only festers and getting rid of a majority of it only delays the inevitable.
Sorry for the second long rant, I just need as many people who are willing to listen to hear as much of this as possible. But by all means do your own research, there are plenty of sources that talk about the slaughtering of innocent Palestinians and the ever-increasing fascism of the US government. Because we all know the regular news is never going to talk about it.
